Stayed for a week and had a great time. Comfortable, clean, modern rooms. Easy transport to the city via train 3 stations. Breakfast had many good options. Wi-Fi worked without issues. Staff friendly and welcoming. There is a nature reserve not far from the hotel and great to hike to the nearby castle.

TOILET DOOR handle of room 229 was broken.Got stuck in toilet 2 times. Room fridge was also bad and lights were not working. In Sweden that too family room where child also occupies the room we paid extra for child ,opted for bigger room what if child gets stuck in hotel instead of adult.. Was scary. Sofas near reception were also too dirty. This is not Mariott standard for sure. Worst part of hotel was breakfast. Pic poc runs breakfast for hotel. Very less options to eat. Exact same menu served on both days. Breakfast complete wastage of money. It's good not to opt breakfast.
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. However, the hygiene of the hotel was fairly poor: dust everywhere; insects in the lounge; stains on the mattress and on curtains. Additionally, the fitted sheets were easily removable while sleeping; there was hairs on the towels and the towels seemed dirty.
Stayed here for a business trip and was very disappointed. Despite contacting the hotel before arrival about my room allocation and raising concerns again during my stay, I was told no alternative room was available. The room was not suitable for business travel, with no proper workspace, and the overall standard was poor. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy, and the bedding appeared stained on arrival. The breakfast buffet was particularly disappointing, with limited, low-quality options. The dining area felt unclean, and even the milk appeared lumpy. What frustrated me most was the handling of my complaint. Front Desk Manager Divine Belarmino was dismissive and patronising when I raised my concerns, and despite escalating the matter, Area Manager Joakim Zetterberg did not respond to or address my complaints. Communication was poor throughout, and there appeared to be little interest in resolving the issues raised. I travel frequently for work and stay in hotels regularly, but this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had. I would not stay here again or recommend it to other business travellers.
We were overwhelmingly happy with our stay, not because of the room, nor the food, but the staff was unbelievably kind and helpful, we had an amazing time. Below is our review in more detail. Firstly, the room overall is clean, fresh, and spacious. I personally love the design of the bathroom. Although there are some minor issues with the room, such as blue stains on the blanket, as well as TV/chromecast goes black every 3-5 seconds, this could definetly annoy some guests. Despite the hotel is located next to the train station, I did not notice any train passing by. However, I was woken up a few times in the morning, when other inconsiderate guests slam their door. I personally would wish a bit more sound isolation between rooms and hallways. During our last night stay, I was hungry despite having multiple meals that day. So I ordered a plate of meatballs and mushed potato, for 245kr. It tasted absolutely and ridiculously aweful, I do not set high bars for food at hotels, but it was definetly not worth the price. The drink however was great, although a bit too sweet for my liking. I've heard from family members from earlier visits, that a particular female staff working at the gym/swimming pool area, is horendously rude, although I am not a gym person, nor someone who likes to swim, so lucky for me, I could easily avoid that experience. Lastly, we would like to again thank AC Hotell for our wonderful experience, I have really enjoyed the stay due to their serviceminded staff, and that they are always willing, and determined to give 110% for their guests.
