Usvi Private Boat Charter Adventure

Just used Carpe Diem for the first time and everything was great!! Capt Kevin is amazing! His driving was exceptional and took us to some great snorkel spots throughout the day. The boat was clean, snorkel equipment worked well, and the floating chairs were a nice touch. The entire process was seamless—from booking to leaving the boat. Will definitely contact again when we are back on St Thomas. Thanks for a great day on the water!!

We had a great day with Capt Kevin exploring beaches, reefs, floating restaurants, and notable sites. Family ranged from 4-92 years old. The boat has good shade for those who need it. It was rough getting from the port to the leeward side, but once there it was a fantastic day. Good snorkel spots. I used the Boatbooker app, but could have and should have booked directly if I had found the website. They park at a small ramp right by the cruise port, but the walk there is a bit confusing. Kevin gave Mom a ride back to the port entrance when we left. Very helpful. Highly recommend for families who love boating.

We had a phenomenal experience with Carpe Diem Charters! Booked a last-minute all-day USVI charter and the day could not have been better. Booking with Chris was easy and he was patient with all of my questions. We boarded at the USVI National Park dock in Cruz Bay which was a breeze. Captain Kevin greeted us, helped load our things into the boat, and off we went. Kevin was thoughtful in asking what we wanted to do and the day was completely customized; we went to several snorkeling spots that could only be accessed by boat. For the non-snorkelers, lounging on the boat or sitting in a floaty was perfect. I can't say enough good things about Captain Kevin, who was personable, professional, and friendly (but even that description doesn't do him justice!) From start to finish the day was a definite highlight of our St. John vacation. 10/10 recommend, and we will be booking again during our next visit!

We have taken many day charters both in the USVI and BVI and Chris and Carpe Diem are the best we've been with. The day was designed perfectly with stops for amazing snorkeling (Boobie Rock is a must!), lunch at Pizza Pi, drinks at Dinghies and a generous stop for us to meet up with some friends later in the day at Christmas Cove. Pickup and drop off at the Westin were a breeze, communication was outstanding, and Chris was a warm host who made the whole day the best for our vacation (special shoutout to Grandma's ginger snap cookies!). Our highest recommendation goes to Carpe Diem and we can't wait to book with them again next time we're in St. John.

Captain Kevin accommodated all generations needs. We had perfect weather for snorkeling even in areas that aren’t ideal conditions. The many many aquatic creatures were a joy to behold. Turtles and octopus were highlights. Floating chairs and under water scooters added to the fun. Captain Chris was very responsive with any and all questions either by phone or by text.

Carpe Diem Charters showed us the best day around the island of St Thomas and St John. We had a great captain in Kevin who was incredible! We snorkeled in 2 beautiful locations and hung on chair rafts in the crystal blue water. We got lunch out on a pizza water boat and toured all the best areas by boat. It was a perfect day touring the 2 islands!

Fortunate enough to have Captain Chris and a full gorgeous day of boating around the USVI. The boat is gorgeous, and has a spacious layout that is great for a family on the water. We were able to explore many gorgeous sights and Captain Chris has a wealth of knowledge about the islands, that made the sight seeing that much more memorable. If you’re looking for a memorable experience while in the USVI - you’ll get exactly what you’re looking for with this boat tour. Gorgeous sights and great people!

We had an amazing day with Captain Kevin! The boat was perfect four our group of four couples, and Captain Kevin expertly navigated us through choppy water. He treated us to snorkeling that was like swimming in an aquarium, private beaches, and great food and drink spots. It was a ton of fun, and Captain Kevin ensured everyone was safe and respectful of the environment without ever being overbearing - he was a perfect host. I highly recommend him and Carpe Diem for a USVI / BVI boat tour.

Our group of 8 adults had an amazing adventure with Captain Kevin. We went around the island of St. John to snorkel and explore pristine islands. We saw sea turtles and countless fish. Kevin helped us plan the perfect day. Will definitely go back on our next visit!

Our family of 12 (6 kids and 6 adults) had a fantastic day on the water with Carpe Diem! Kevin was a fantastic driver/guide taking us to a cove for snorkeling and swimming, a gorgeous beach and lunch at a floating pizza restaurant! The boat was plenty big for our group and was well equipped with snorkeling gear and flotation devices.

Came into port on Royal Caribbean cruise for a half day. Captain Kevin picked us up promptly and walked with us to the speed boat about 5 minutes away. My wife and my two small children along for the ride. He took us to 3 gorgeous beaches as requested by us on St John Scott’s beach Maho bay and Trunks Bay! We snorkeled for a bit and hung out on the beaches. He provided snorkel gear, life jackets, and a large raft. Got us back to the ship on time to leave. Friendly, easygoing and individually tailored trip for a reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Especially if you need your own timeline.

Had a wonderful time on the water with Carpe Diem Charters. Captain Kevin was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. We snorkeled in many spots with beautiful fish, turtles, starfish and a few stingrays; floated around, saw many sites around the outside of the islands and had a nice lunch at a floating pizza restaurant. The boat was perfect (very clean and plenty of room for our 10 family members) and we felt safe and attended to the entire day. I would recommend this charter and definitely Captain Kevin to anyone looking for a fun day on the water.

This was a great customized boat day! Kevin is very knowledgeable of the area and tailored our trip to exactly what we were hoping for. We wanted to snorkel and see the sea turtles! He brought us to the turtle hatchery! All areas he took us were safe for our 9 and 11 year old kids. We were able to bring our own drinks, that he put in his cooler for us. The communication before the trip was excellent! Thank you for an excellent day! We will absolutely return!

Spent the day on the boat. Our captain Kevin was amazing and took us to all the best spots to snorkel, swim and hang out on the beach! He was very knowledgeable of the area and added to our experience. By far our favorite part of the trip!

This was beyond amazing! Kevin was our captain and provided us with a full day my family will never forget. He knows exactly where to take you so you and your loved ones will have an unbelievable experience. We swam with sea turtles adults and babies, and also went to a hatchery. Kevin took us to multiple beautiful coral reef spots where my children seen so many fish and sting rays! I cannot brag about this charter or Captain Kevin enough! High recommended!

We had a great day on the water with our two teenagers (ages 16 and 18). We snorkeled at a couple shipwrecks, visited a beach where we were the only people there, drove to St John and snorkeled with sea turtles, then had a great lunch on the water at Pizza Pi. Patrick was excellent and very accommodating throughout, as was Chris. The kids already asked if we could do it again and request Patrick on our next visit.

Chris took my family out for a Sunset Cruise while in St Thomas. It was like being at home on our own personal boat. What an Amazing Experience with a Very Informed Captain. Not only did Chris give us a full tour of the surrounding area, he explained the history of certain areas and pointed out places of note in not only St Thomas but the surrounding islands. My biggest regret is we did not do a longer tour. We will be back and we have already decided that we will do a Full Day on the water. I’ve been on these boat tours in Mexico and the Bahamas. This experience was a Night and Day difference. The difference between eating at a fast food restaurant and a fine dining establishment. First Class from the time we took off to the time we returned. And to enhance our entire experience a beautiful charcuterie board and champagne were on hand for our ride. Honestly, this experience will be one of the reasons we will return to St Thomas all together. Hats off to Chris and his team for helping us make lifetime memories while in St Thomas. We will be back SOON…

This was honestly one of the best days of our vacation. The boat was very nice and had a great sound system. Our captain C’quan was so nice and knowledgeable. He was a great captain and I recommend him to any one who books this charter. We did the full day and enjoyed every hour of it. We went snorkeling and saw sea turtles. Also went to great food spots. 100% recommend.

We had the best time snorkeling in St Thomas with Carpe Diem! They took us to the best spots where we got to see beautiful fish and large sea turtles! It was such a great experience, highly recommend booking them for your next excursion!

The boat was very nice and our captain kevin was the best. We snorkeled several great locations until I couldn’t snorkel anymore. We saw turtles, starfish and a variety of colored fish. We saw many secluded beaches. Kevin’s area knowledge was great too.

Most enjoyable day on our trip! Captain Kevin was so personable, a pleasure to spend the day with. He took into consideration our different levels of comfort with snorkeling, and recommended stops to accommodate all five of us. He kept an eye on us while we were in the water, making our safety a priority. If you’re looking for a laid back day of snorkeling, beach hopping, etc. with a flexible itinerary to suit your interests, I highly recommend Carpe Diem!

We did a BVI day trip from St. John and cannot recommend Carpe Diem charters highly enough. Captain Kevin was very professional but at the same time awesome, knowledgable and fun. They will customize the day's itinerary and tailor it specifically for you and your interests. It was the perfect day and highlight of our entire trip. If you're researching other boat companies my only advice would be to save your time and book with carpe diem charters. You won't regret it!

The boat was pristine clean and exceptionally comfortable. The boat is really big and spacious and in great condition. The boat is very powerful and we had an exhilirating experience on it. The condition of the boat mechanically is also top notch. To top it all the boat supplied fins for snorkeling and the fins were great! The boat has two prime lounger seats in the front! So great! I can really recommend the Bravo boat for a wonderful fun day and your money's worth!

We had the best time on our private charter with our captain Kevin! He know so many details on the island and was able to answer all our questions and be our private your guide. The day was amazing and so worth it! Would recommend this to everyone coming to Virgin Islands and will be back to do this again!

Overall it was a great day on the boat. We love the Caribbean and are fans of a private boat day to see the small sites. Capt Kevin did an amazing job, the water was a little choppy but he made us feel safe and secure always. Kevin was very patient with the kids and took us to several spots. My only negative would be the meet up and boat readiness. The meet up was not clear and we walked for a bit, made some calls and then finally met the captain. The boat was only stocked with waters for a 6/7hr day on the water. We had the opportunity to walk to the grocery store and buy our own beer, sodas and snacks. Totally my personal preference but it would be nice to have that already on board and just pay for it.

Kevin our captain was great! We had the best time and 100% recommend this to anyone and we will use this company again!
