Us Virgin Islands Island Hop & Food Boat Tour

Brendan and Susannah were absolutely fabulous co-captains and crew. We got to spend so much time snorkeling and enjoying the culinary experience on the water. We can’t wait to come back and book again.

We had a wonderful experience w/Heather! We let her guide us to favorite spots between St John's and St Thomas, lunch stop, swimming stops, snorkeling. It was perfect..she was great at giving a lil history of places, taking us to great places to see turtles too, local hangouts. Water temp was perfection! She was so helpful on the boat too getting us ready to snorkel, to float w/noodles, and drinks along the way!

Our group of seven had an AMAZING day with Stormy Pirates! Captain Dave and First Mate Jackson made the entire experience so much fun from beginning to end. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable about the islands and kept us entertained with stories and interesting information along the way. Jackson made sure we were well taken care of all day—plenty of food, plenty of drinks, and lots of laughs! We snorkeled, paddleboarded, swam, explored, and had plenty of time to just kick back and enjoy being out on the beautiful Caribbean water. It never felt rushed, and they really made the day feel like it was all about our group. We also loved learning that both Dave and Jackson are military veterans. That made the experience even more special to us, and we truly appreciated getting to know them a little throughout the day. By the end of the trip, it felt less like we had spent the day with a captain and first mate and more like we had spent the day on the water with a couple of new friends. If you’re considering Stormy Pirates—BOOK IT! We can’t recommend Dave and Jackson highly enough. They gave our group a day we’ll be talking about for a long time. We would absolutely go out with them again! 🌴☀️🍹⚓️

Everything about this tour was amazing! The food at lime out was better than I could have imagined. We enjoyed every snorkel stop. Especially lovango where we swam with nurse sharks. Next time we are on St. John we will be booking another tour with stormy pirates!

Tyler and Briana were phenomenal! We saw several amazing snorkeling spots and saw sea turtles, jellyfish, sting rays, and so many fish species! Would definitely recommend them.

We had an amazing experience with Stormy Pirates while visiting the US Virgin Islands! From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and well-organized. A huge shoutout to our guides, Tara and Kevin—they were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they friendly and easygoing, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable about the islands. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. They shared so much interesting history and local insight that really made the trip feel special and not just like a typical tour. The scenery was unreal, the vibe was perfect, and the entire day felt like the highlight of our trip. If you’re looking for a charter that combines fun, relaxation, and a deeper appreciation for the islands, Stormy Pirates is the way to go. Highly recommend—would 100% do it again!

I took my 21-yr-old and 17-yr-old sons, and we all agreed it was a fantastic charter! We loved Lime Out, the snorkeling was fun, and Lovango Beach Resort was lovely. The captain and mates were knowledgeable and so fun! I highly recommend booking this charter!!

We had the best time with Captain Brandon and Captain Heather on our tour around St. John. They both took great care of us with plenty of refreshments and a smooth ride through the turquoise waters. the tacos at lime out were delicious and the pizza boat on the ocean was so so cool! During our snorkeling lHeather found us an octopus and Brandon found us some sea turtles! We saw lots of tropical fish, a barracuda and a couple of sharks too! What a fun and exciting day!

We had an incredible day with Stormy pirates last week. Our party of 8 made up most of the trip but the 5 joining made the trip even more fun. Cornelius was a great captain and Jackson was perfect as first mate. He made us drink, helped with snorkel gear, etc. Lunch at Lime Out is always a blast, snorkeling Christmas Cove is stunning with 4 sea turtles and a spotted eagle ray and getting to go have a drink and snack at LaVongo and be back in water just in time to see 3 nurse sharks was the best way to end such a fun day. Thanks for everything SP crew!!!

The locations were great, boat immaculate and lots to see in between stops! Had a wonderful time! Bolongo bay was gorgeous!

Great experience snorkeling and seeing the islands! Only downside was that we booked this tour due to its description of being “small group” and capped at 12 people, but there were more than double that on the tour, so we felt slighted.

Second trip with Stormy Prirates and once again they didn’t disappoint. By far the best adventure on our vacation in St. John. Tara and Brendan are incredible guides and took us to the best snorkeling spots. Will be back again next year!

Tara and Nick were great! Tara is an amazing captain and was very personable. Nick did a great job with taking care of all our needs. We loved all the stories about the history in the area.

We had a great time on this tour. There was a LOT of boat time vs being on different islands. A few years back we did the “booze cruise” that no longer is listed, and it was a little better-it just had more stops. Nick and Tyler were our captains, and they were great.

The crew was amazing, I booked 12 people and under tour and we were placed in a bigger boat with 45 other. I paid more to go with a smaller group

Had every amenity you could think of. Only had to bring ourselves and a towel! The captain and employees were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! There was a full boat. Best for the snorkeling and pizza pi! We were one the boat from 9am until 4:35. And it was so good for the price!

Captain Cornelius and Robyn were the best! They knew all the spots to go. We saw a spotted eagle ray, sting rays, a nurse shark, needle fish, tons of other really cool fish, lots of coral. It was the coolest boat tour! They kept the drinks flowing and had great service! Definitely would recommend this tour!

I had a great experience. The crew was very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. I did this excursion by myself it was easy to coordinate and they were good with communication prior to the excursion as well. The food from Lime Out is not included so be sure to bring money to pay for that. The food from Pizza Pi was included and it was delicious. Drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are also included on the tour. They gave us the chance to snorkel, grab food and tour a beach club. It was overall a great experience!

The size of this tour is perfect with less than 12 people. It was a beautiful day circling St John on the water. We got to try Lime Out for some amazing tacos. Then went to our next stop for snorkeling where we saw some sea turtles and a shipwreck. The pizza was delivered to our boat and was delicious. Our next stop was Lovango resort and was a fun place to see and hang out for a while. Our captain Tyler and mate Maeve were professional and fun. They made it a fantastic tour and made sure we were all taken care of the whole day. Food and drinks were great and it was well worth the cost of this tour. We would highly recommend booking!

Brandon, Maeve and the crew were outstanding. The whole crew was personable, gregarious, and knowledgeable. The drinks flowed, as much as you want. All of the equipment for snorkeling was in perfect shape. The stop at the lime bar was super cool and the pizza pi was good and generously supplied. We saw turtles, puffer fish, and even a tuxedo style dotted eel. Our children were at home, but certainly excellent for visitors of all ages.

The tour was great! Seeing all the different islands was really cool. The food stops were amazing and the snorkeling was awesome! We saw sting rays, turtles, starfish, and some pretty big fish! Heather and Tyler did a great job with the tour, would highly recommend!

Our group is visiting from NY on a girls trip. We had a blast with Captain Dave, Robin and Grant. The trip was beautiful, the boat was great, the stop at Lime Out floating taco bar was a fun experience. Sorry we kept losing the noodles but #ItsGrantsfault. Thanks for a great day!!!

We had the best day on the water today with Tyler and Heather! They both did a great job… friendly, professional and Heather made great drinks! Had a great experience on the Gorda Pirate yesterday, the crew gave us 5 star service and the sights were amazing!!! I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone

We had captain C and Jackson. They were both very kind, knowledgeable and surpassed every expectation we had for this adventure. It was the greatest experience we have ever had and would highly recommend this to anyone!

This was an amazing trip. Grant and Tyler are an awesome crew. Grant’s knowledge of the local geography and history really make the trip fun and educational. He did a great job of pointing out all kinds of points of interest. The tacos at Lime Out were sensational. The experience of eating on a floating platform was cool, but the tacos really were great. Even the pizza that got delivered to the boat was very good. Snorkeling over an old sunken ship was very nice too. And we saw plenty of sea turtles. I highly recommend this trip to anyone.

This was a fun-filled day out in the islands. We saw so many things and had such a fun group to explore with. We even had local celeb, Bob, along with us! The drinks, the snorkeling and just being on the boat made for warm happy memories to cherish forever!

We stopped at Limeout for tacos and they were amazing. We later had pizza from Pizza Pi, and I have no idea how they made such great pizza on a boat! Heather was an incredible First Mate and kept the drinks and fun going. The little things she did, like folding our shirts as we were swimming, made the experience even better! Tyler was an amazing and funny Captain. He made sure we knew where to snorkel and where to find the sea turtles! Together, their quick whit and great sense of humor added to the enjoyment. Seeing the stingray was an extra bonus too! On a side note, Tyler’s mom should be very proud of him. He’s doing a great job!

My husband and I went on this boat excursion our first day of vacation. Our captain, Cornelius, and mate, Robin, were great hosts. We hit some weather and bigger waves on our way out but our ride was smooth thanks to the great crew. The snorkel stops were great. They provide all the equipment. Pizza was delicious and the drinks never stopped flowing! Great selection of beverages (alcoholic and non). Our first mate, Robin, had lots of helpful tips and history on the islands as we toured around St. John, St. James and back to St. Thomas. Was great way to get a feel for the island and some ideas for the rest of the stay. Glad we did this tour first thing! We 100% recommend. Great value.

We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend. Heather and Cornelius were amazing and we never lacked for anything. We never felt rushed. Loved the taco stop and the snorkeling. Had a perfect day enjoying the water!

We went with Captain Tyler,Tara and Mariah on 1/16 and had a blast! Best tum punch we had on the trip! Crew explains everything about the islands as we the day went along. Lime Out and Pizza Pi were awesome. Great snorkeling and the people we were with were a lot of fun! We highly recommend this one!

Heather & C were great, explaining islands & what we were looking along boat ride, about an hour to first stop, Limeout, the taco boat/bar. Tacos were very good, the blackened shrimp was fantastic with fresh pesto! C timed our arrival to get there just before opening when rafts to sit in to order & enjoy drinks& food were still available. Be prepared, swimming is the only way to get there. If hungry, have more than one taco. The only other food available in the day is the pizza delivered to boat at the third stop of day. Second stop was another beautiful cove for snorkeling & swimming! It was beautiful scenery! Snorkeling gear was comfortable & functioned well! Heather did a great job keeping drinks filled! C our Captain was very engaging. Crowd on tour were all friendly & made it fun!

Epic boat day with the crew Tyler and Grant! They were so fun and social which made the experience so much better. Highly recommend cruising with stormy pirates, our whole family loved it!

The full day trip was amazing, the crew, Tyler, Heather, and Grant were super knowledgable about the island. The boat can probably sit 50 and our group had only 6 so the crew was very relaxed and able to give us more personalized information about our surroundings. It was also great getting to see a crew be more relaxed and get to know them since they weren't having to tend to dozens of passengers. We stopped at Coral Bay where we went to Lime Outs floating taco stand, then stopped at the Tektites for snorkeling which was the best snorkeling my wife and I have ever done, then stopped at Christmas Cove for more snorkeling with sea turtles and stopped at the floating pizza stand, then finally went over to Lovango bay for more snorkeling and floating with drinks. Of the 8 hours, we probably spent 3 of them snorkeling, and rest was a mix up of circumnavigating St John, eating tacos and pizza, and floating with drinks. One thing to mention is that the Tektites only have one place to anchor, so if someone is already there then you may have to skip it and spend more time at Lavango or somewhere else. In hindsight, I would've been bummed if we missed the Tektite snorkeling because we stayed too long at Lime Out (to each their own).

We had a great time! Highly recommend! The swim up taco stand was super cool and all of the snorkeling was on point. We saw the shipwreck and lots of pretty fish.

We had a family of 8 including my 82 year old mother. The staff was fantastic, fun and super accommodating. They tended to our every need. They gave great information and history of the islands along the way. We never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Great day and I would highly recommend.

We booked this boat tour last minute and so happy we did! The captains were wonderful, super insightful, and insured that we had everything we needed every second of the trip. The snorkeling spots were awesome, and the food stops were impeccable. We will definitely make this part of our trip moving forward.
