We had an amazing experience with Aqua Marine Dive Center! After eight dives with Abby, Dylan, and Captain Steph, we felt like we were diving with friends. They were all wonderful and helped make every outing memorable. We saw so much incredible marine life, including sharks, an octopus, an eagle ray, stingrays, and nudibranchs. We’re so grateful for the experience and would happily dive with them again!

We had a great dive with Aqua Marine! Our captain Steph and dive master, Dylan, were patient (waited for us when our taxi was a no show), gave a clear and informative briefing, and the sites they took us to were amazing! Gorgeous caribbean fish, corals, and sea life. One dive area was called “Ledges” with literal ledges of coral and marine wildlife. The other site had these underwater caverns with amazing marine life! We saw a majestic spotted eagle ray, stoplight and rainbow parrotfish, a teeny tiny coral crab (Dylan has eagle eyes!), an alligator pipefish, along with the usual Caribbean beauties. The delicious rum punch on the ride back was a nice touch! Highly recommend these guys for your next St. Thomas dive!

Dillion was an awesome dive master and showed us some amazing sights. Saw nurse sharks, turtle, crabs, eels, lobster, red snapper, jellyfish, and much more. David was a great captain and very friendly.

Captain David, Dylan aka “Darryl”, and Brandon were awesome guides for a two tank dive. We did four mornings with them and each dive was great! Great communication, easy sign up and waiver process, would definitely use them again and recommend them.

My family just finished a two week vacation at Limetree resort where Aqua Marine Dive Center has its office. We have been diving with them for many years. During our stay, my daughter and I joined Aqua Marine for 5 dives over 3 days, including 1 night dive. Aqua Marine is a first-class operation, and after discussion with friends, I can confidently state that Aqua Marine is the best dive shop on St. Thomas. Their crew (including Abby, Dylan, Steph, Brandon, and Captain Dave) are all incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. It is very evident that your safety and comfort come first. That is not to say that they won't take you to some amazing dive sites though. During this trip we saw several huge spotted eagle rays, numerous black-tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, octopus, enormous lobsters, snowflake moray eels, and an array of other wildlife. The dives were among the most enjoyable we have ever done! We will continue to come back every year and will always dive with Aqua Marine!

Dylan and Captain David were fantastic! It was a wavy day but both crew still made it the best experience! Charismatic, knowledgeable, and made us feel super safe. Highly recommend!

My wife and I booked three separate two-tank dives with separate companies (Aqua Marine, Red Hook and Low Key Watersports). Aqua Marine was hands down the best experience of the three companies. The other two were perfectly fine, but my wife and I had the most fun with Aqua Marine. Abby was our dive guide and I believe Dave was the captain. Both were exceptional! You can tell immediately that they love their job. Abby was so enthusiastic about diving and she took us on two amazing dives. After the dives were over Dave served up some delicious rum punch, which was a real treat. I feel like this company took more personal interest toward my wife and I; it felt smaller and more relaxed than the other companies. Safety was a top priority which we appreciate very much. The dives with the other companies we went on were also excellent but what really made the difference was the staff, Abby and Dave were just the best people and we had such a wonderful time with them. I would highly recommend that you choose Aqua Marine if you going diving in St. Thomas!

Absolutely incredible dive. McKenzie needs to open her own shop because she is a natural teacher. Her ability to bring me up to speed after 11 years without diving and make me feel comfortable was exceptional. Every step of the way I felt safe and so did the other divers in the group. I can’t imagine a better diver with better views or guides. I will be coming back and if you are in any way hesitant, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING and just BOOK. You will not regret it!!!

We (my husband and I) booked one trip with the intention of finding another maybe with another dive center, but we had such a great experience we booked 3 more dives with Aqua Marine Dive Center. They were fantastic! Staff was very knowledgeable, lots of fun. We felt very safe in their hands for our first night dive! Highly recommend. Dylan, Steph, Brandon, McKenzie, Abby - y'all were awesome.

Great staff and great service very safe

I have done several dives with Aqua Marine over the last year. The rental equipment is in great shape. The guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My favorite dive has been Coral Bowl at Buck Island, but Cow and Calf, Ledges, and Steph's Corner were all full of life and beautiful dives. Special shout-out to Steph, Dylan, Lewis, Brandon, and Mckenzie.

It was great diving with Brandon today. He kept close contact with a 1/2 new diver group and my kid all while making the dives fun in a surging current. Definitely felt safe with the choppy weather conditions with him as our dive master and Capt Tom at the helm and on deck. Thanks for a fun safe day.

Super friendly and accommodating staff! Smoothly run. Had snacks and rum punch for after the diving. They arranged for a dedicated taxi for us to get from and back to the ship.

My wife and I are experienced divers, and our 2 days of diving with Aqua Marine were right at the top of our list of faves. Dylan, Mackenzie, and Captain Steph created fun, educational and joyful mornings of undersea exploration. I picked Aqua Marine based on great reviews, and they still exceeded our expectations. This was the best dive shop I used while in the USVI. I had an incredibly fun, safe, and friendly experience, so much so that I promptly signed up for another dive. Cannot recommend Aqua Marine enough! When my original dive plans fell through and I found myself calling around last minute, Aqua Marine promptly picked up the phone and had me signed up for a boat right away. Their phone responsiveness continued to be stellar when I called to ask for directions, to which I once again got an immediate pickup and very clear dropoff instructions for my taxi driver. Our dive master, Dylan, was awesome! His super upbeat and friendly energy set a great tone for the dive, and we kept the good vibes going as he pointed out nurse sharks, lobsters, sea turtles, and more. He’s obviously very experienced with the sites and expertly guided us through some incredible swim throughs. I got a bit seasick between dives and the crew was excellent, making it a priority to get me back underwater where my stomach would settle. Shoutout to Captain Steph for being quick and responsive. As the boat headed back into the shop, not only did Dylan offer to call a taxi for anyone who needed one, but the crew passed out a cup of rum punch for each of us to enjoy. Don’t skip Aqua Marine while diving in St. Thomas!

Abbie, Dylan, Steph and Captain Tom were terrific. Abbie did a masterful job navigating different dive competencies and keeping everyone safe and well-informed during our dives at Christmas cove (?) and the Ledges. Dylan was working with another group but his infectious enthusiasm could be felt throughout the boat. Steph was super helpful and Tom was attentive and careful in his navigation. I also used some of Dylan's dining recommendations and they were wonderful.

We had very limited time to dive as we were in a very short window while in port on our cruise. These guys went above and beyond to accommodate us, bent over backwards to help with transportation and provided an amazing dive for our family. Steph took extra care with my 10-year old on her first open water dive, making sure she was safe and pointed out all the cool things for her to see. Seriously the entire crew made sure we were safe, well taken care of, and had an amazing time. BOOK THESE GUYS NOW!!!

Booked last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Lewis, Ben, Abby and Stephanie were awesome on the boat. Michelle handled the booking and answered all of my questions and made me feel welcome and at home! 1st class operation start to finish. Quite possibly my best dive experience and it was all a chance meeting. It was a great mix of divers and snorkelers, either way, they go out of their way make sure everyone is happy and has a good time!

We had the best time with our dive team! Steph was our dive master. She took great care of us and our friends who were new divers. She was so patient and worked one on one with our friend until she was able to finally equalize her ears and join us on her first ocean dive! Steph was the octopus whisperer she found two octopus for us to watch on our dive! She was just so kind, fun and helpful! Dive crew Abby, Dylan were great as well they were friendly, knowledgeable and made us laugh while we were on the boat. Captain of the boat was David, cannot say enough about this man! He was so attentive to my friends who got sea sick! Thanks a billion David! He even got some great photos for me to cherish forever! If you are on the fence about booking with Aqua Marine Dive shop here’s your sign! Do it! They are the best of the best! If we come back to St Thomas they will be our go to from now on!

Had a great time diving Calf and Cow in St Thomas with Aqua Marine. Abby, Brandon and Tommy were awesome to dive with. The diving sites had lots of coral and marine life and the topography was very interesting. Lots of swim-throughs, troughs and valleys. Definitely one of my top 10 dives.

Had a great time with my crew and my dive guide Dylan! Steph drove the boat and helped us up and out to the edge of the boat for our big step and Zach was taking the snorkels out for some fun too. What a great dive, we went out to Ledges of the coast of Little St James and saw tons of fish, a morey eel, a hook billed turtle, and a Caribbean reef shark. Tons of Venus fan coral, and brain coral, but best of all was the ledges and caves all along the coast there. Dylan is a great guide, he knew exactly where to take us, he quickly determined how the group would last on air and judged the length of the dive perfectly, he knew exactly how long to stay and explore and when it was time to go without leaving a ton of air in our tanks leftover (because some guides do that and it sucks) and not do anything dangerous either. He wasn’t all over us but always seemed to be right there to show us cool stuff too. Great time, great crew, great dive! Thanks guys.

Excellent diving experience The crew was very helpful and informative. They arraigned roundtrip shuttle service from the cruise ship port to the dive boat and return. (20 min drive at an additional cost)

We highly recommend AMDS to everyone who's visiting the island and would like to snorkel/scuba. Great service!! The diving is awesome on St. Thomas, USVI! The crew is very professional. Dive masters Lewis and Dillon took care of us divers in the water and Skipper Stef did everything else. Snacks and water were provided during the surface interval and they also had rum punch for after the dives. I dove with Lewis. He is very knowledgeable of the local water and pointed out a lot of sea life. While the surface was a bit choppy, the dives were smooth and fun.

From the time I arrived the team made me feel welcome and safe Dylan was my dive master, and he did a great job on the dive briefing, we had a wide range of skill levels in our group, but everyone got what they needed and wanted. The boat captain, a sweet woman from Austria worked harder than any boat captain I’ve experience during my 500+ dives she helped everyone in and out of the water and made sure the boat was safe for all onboard

We had the pleasure to dive with this group when we were in St Thomas for the day via cruise ship. They were all awesome, Ketchup and Dylan were our guys on both our dives. Wonderful time! Can’t wait to get back next time.

I had a WONDERFUL experience with such a great group of people. This was the first dive I had booked after my OW certification in Michigan and I was super nervous. My guide Louis was just fantastic! He made me feel safe and comfortable and helped me figure out how to operate my new dive watch. Our captain was Stephanie and she was wonderful as well. She stopped the boat when we heading out and we spotted a mama dolphin with her baby. Crew said it was only second time In 3 yrs they had seen dolphins so it was a beautiful moment for all of us. Can not recommend this crew highly enough, I known where I will return my next trip to St. Thomas! Thank you Louis!!

We went on 2 amazing dives around Cow and Calf islands and saw so much wildlife, including a shark! Zack was an incredible guide and showed us so many great spots and plenty of pass throughs! Tommy was a great captain and made sure we were safe from the surface! Cannot wait to dive with them again!

I have been Scuba Diving in the St. Thomas area since 1983 and all of my diving during the past 10 years have been with Aqua Marine Dive Center. They are the best dive shop I have ever worked with. This dive trip was a special one and they did everything to make my dives the best possible experience. I earned my Advanced Open Water Certification in 1976 in the Bahamas, so the dives last week was a special anniversary celebrating 50 YEARS with my Advanced Open Water Cert. Due to some medical events over the past two years, my strength and endurance is not what it used to be. We had Zach as our Dive Master for all of our dives. They knew my limitations and provided excellent service. I was able to get out of my BC and tank while in the water so I didn’t have to contend with the extra weight while exiting the water. In addition to my Dive Master, I also want to thank Tommy and Michelle (owners) who were so helpful in planning these special anniversary dives. Also a thanks to Stephanie for her assistance on my dives. Aqua Marine is definitely the best on St. Thomas and one of the best in the Caribbean.

Abby, capt Dave, Dylan and Kelly were amazing. My 13-year-old daughter trained and was certified with Abby for her open water certification. Kelly and Dylan kept mom busy and captain dave was awesome. Diving around Epstein Island was great and we saw so many animals. Very professional crew, great snacks and punch 💯!

Dylan and Abby were great today! They spotted octopus, moray eel, and the biggest lobster and crab I have ever seen. Capt David did a great job getting me there! I can’t recommend them enough!

We had an awesome experience. The boat crew was fun got us in the water and to the next spot quickly. We a shark, eel and huge crab. They had waters, soda, snacks and rum pouch along with great music. Abby was our five master that took our group & made it a great experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10 recommendation!!

We had a great time diving with Louis, Ben & Zach with Aqua Marine! Captain Steph and the entire crew were highly professional, knowledgeable and fun! Whether fixing our gear that unexpectedly malfunctioned or helping us in & out of the water they were truly accommodating. We especially enjoyed going to Calf & Cow. We saw so much interesting wildlife: arrows crabs, huge lobsters, a giant king crab, lots of butterflies and angels including gray & French angels. Visibility wasn’t ideal due to unusual windy weather but on the best days 60’ visibility. We especially appreciated that the morning dives had only certified divers so we were well matched with buddies with similar experience levels. They gave us personalized service not the usual “cattle boat” diving. For experienced divers I would highly recommend Aqua Marine! I’m sure they are equally accommodating for novices too. One tip: we found that their taxi service was overpriced and inconsistent, often late or slow to pick us up. If we had to do it over we’d just get taxis arranged by our hotel and save money and probably get better service.

Great experience diving with Aqua Marine. Quality equipment. Nice boat. Easy to get to and park at compared to some of the boats out of Red Hook. Would definitely go again. Zach was super as a dive guide, as was the rest of the team.
