Enjoy epic snorkeling from the luxurious comfort of the Flying Frenchman. The experience starts as the crew raise the sails for an exhilarating sail along the south shore of St. Thomas. Conditions depending, the crew will set anchor and the snorkeling begins! After the initial snorkel is complete, the crew will begin a delicious picnic style lunch service onboard accompanied by an open bar as we set sail to your second snorkeling location. Snorkel, swim or just lay back and catch some rays, your choice! This adventure concludes with relaxing sail and open bar as we return to Frenchman's Reef.
We had an amazing time! Were able to see lots of turtles and rays! The staff were amazing, the tacos at line out delicious and drinks spot on. Would highly recommend, a must do!
Of all the snorkel tours I took, this was the worst. We went to Brewers Bay to snorkel. I had heard that if you don’t see turtles here, you must have your eyes closed. Well, we snorkeled the entire time and I finally saw 1 eagle ray and 1 turtle at the very end! There weren’t even any fish to see! The other thing is the crew. The captain and the new guy were the only ones who seemed happy or glad to be there. The others did not even smile. It was disappointing to see them sitting glumly in the back of the boat. The tour did run smoothly and the crew knew what they were doing. They did their jobs quietly and efficiently.
My family has done a lot of snorkel tours in the Caribbean and I would say this was just ok. In fact we have been on snorkeling trips through Cruz bay water sports that have been fantastic so we assumed this one would be as well. We went out on a boat called Jost Boat. Here were the positives - we saw turtles, the first mate Q was super nice and helpful and made the trip. The make your own tacos was fun and the food was excellent. The cons - the captain was, well…. Rude. He seemed annoyed with all the passengers and was not communicative with us about the plan for the day, the area, where we were going, how long we were staying, etc. He had a verbal altercation with another family when they expressed disappointment in where we were snorkeling and concern about their kids and the amount of jellyfish in the area. He actually yelled at them, asked them how many times he had to repeat himself and when they asked about the plan for the day he told them to get in the water. It was extremely uncomfortable when you are on a boat for the next few hours. I inquired about the food having any peanuts since my son had an allergy (which I did declare at booking) and he shrugged and said don’t eat. I honestly don’t think the captain liked his job and it felt very much like he was angry most of the day. So, the snorkeling was good, the food was good, Q the first mate was great but because of how uncomfortable the captain made me, I wouldn’t recommend.
Great day snorkeling, with turtles and sting rays to see. Then off to some great tacos!! Lime out is a tad pricey but the experience it it worth it. Captain Trent, Lauren and Landon were a great crew and ran the boat great. Even with the choppy seats Capt kept it smooth and it was barely noticeable on the way out and back. It hard to please both my college kids at the same time but this definitely made it happen! Thanks to the crew and this is a must have adventure while in St. Thomas. I’ll add pics later.
Fantastic experience from beginning to end!
Trip was relaxing, very nice boat. We stopped at a spot for snorkeling and saw a few sea turtles 🐢 . Then hit the taco spot. If your looking for a relaxing day, this is recommended. Nick our bartender was awsome 🙌. As well as the whole crew! Thank you for the day!
Really fun & worth it! We saw turtles, eagle rays, & sting rays while snorkeling. The taco bar on the water was really fun & the whole crew was really nice! 10/10
We did the Turtles and Taco excursion. We left from the Dock near the Westin, which was very close to our hotel. The boat was beautiful and very clean. There were about 18 of us in total. The crew and Captain were very professional and fun. They told us everything we needed to know to have a safe and fun trip, At Brewers Bay we saw many turtles, a few stingrays and lots of fish. Then our time at Lime out was the perfect amount of time and the sail back to the dock was very relaxing. We all agreed we could of stayed on this boat forever!!
Best excursion of our entire vacation. Gorgeous vessel, friendly staff and coolest captain. Snorkeled with sea turtles then ate yummy tacos and washed them down with rum punch. 10/10 just an amazing day
Tour guides were awesome,boat ride was beautiful and seamless,and the PRETTIEST water ive ever swam or snorkeled in...The floating taco boat was the cherry on top!Will definitely use them again

Staff were amazing! From the Cruzbay boat crew to Lime Out. I lost my credit card swimming from the boat. Dylan from Lime Out kindly offered to go and find it, I thought he was joking. I did not finish my first Nene Margarita and there he was swimming up with credit card in hand! Talk about above and beyond, (Or below in this case!). Amazing experience all around and cannot wait to come back and do that again with family, friends or clients!
Rian was our Captain and gave us a great tour. Daniel was a last minute crew addition with us being his first trip as he usually oversees the fleet maintenance. Daniel is an amazing bartenders and is welcomed back anytime! The little ‘extras’ were a pleasant surprise: towels, continental breakfast and taco delivery to the boat! The snorkeling was ok, saw some turtles but the highlight were the scrumptious tacos!! We had a great day. The captain gave us a nice easy ride and we went around the whole island. So fun, thank you!

Easy access from Frenchman’s Reef. Guides make it comfortable. Great snorkel locations and tacos from Lime Out are excellent. Would highly recommend this activity!

Best money we spent while on our vacation in the USVI. The staff were super friendly and professional. The boat ride was peaceful and filled with beautiful views. The bay we snorkeled in, on St. John, was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The restaurant on the water, Lime Out, was sooo cool and delicious and we got to swim out to it from our boat. The whole experience lasted about 5-6 hours. Just all around an unforgettable experience. 💙

We had a beautiful day on the water. Snorkeling was good, but we didn’t get to see a turtle. The Lime Out floating bar/taco place was great fun! The boat crew was easy going, pointed out some spots of interest, and served yummy drinks.
Excellent excursion!! The captains were exceptional. Food was great from the breakfast snacks to the tacos and open bar! Would definitely do it again!
