St. Thomas Jost Van Dyke & Soggy Dollar Snorkel Sail W/ Breakfast - Ritz-carlton

Captain Jolene and crew (Elijah, Nick, and Hailey) aboard the Lady Lynsey are amazing. They are so very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The vessel itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The snorkeling spot that the Captain picked did not disappoint. We saw turtles, fish, and a barracuda! With the north swell that was present when we went, the water and the ride can be a bit choppy (but fun!). I love to be on the water but I do get motion sickness so I doubled up on the patches and dramamine so I was fine and able to enjoy the ride. The light breakfast was good and the drinks were as well!

Great trip to Jost Can Dyke and the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling off St John was fun. Would recommend the trip for anyone looking for a day trip from St Thomas. Captain and crew were excellent

This is a great way to get to Jost Van Dyke! Nice snorkeling stop in the morning. The catamaran was perfect, and the crew took good care of everyone on board. No need to bring towels as they supply them on the boat. Lots of sun so bring plenty of sunscreen and a cover-up. Good for couples or families!

The Captain was nice but the trip is over priced because it only includes one snorkeling stop at Lavango Bay resort and a short time Jost Van Dyke. You also have to go back thru customs to re enter Saint Thomas!!!! Need a passport!!!!

The crew was absolutely incredible, so helpful and always making sure everyone was taken care of!! The stops were perfect with the snorkeling and jost van dyke ! Such a great experience and beautiful boat!

Bring credit card to buy lunch and souvenirs Put phone in water proof case even if you don’t plan to take it under water! Several people fell in getting knocked over by waves. Their phones took a swim!

We had the best time on this excursion to Jost Van Dyke. Captain Brent and his crew were OUTSTANDING! They worked seamlessly to provide all of the guests with a safe and fun experience. Continental breakfast was ample, drink options plentiful. They provided a fun sailing experience, complete with fun yacht-rock music, drinks flowing etc. They were attentive and helpful to guests as they embarked/disembarked the boat. Jost Van Dyke was beautiful, definitely worth the trip. The crew guided us through the customs/immigration procedure with ease. We've done a lot of similar sailing excursions and this one will stand out as one of the very best. Would highly recommend and will repeat on our next visit to USVI. Thanks Captain Brent and crew!

What a great time, a small delay but never boarded from the beach that was just a cool exp! Crew instructions were easy to follow, service was great, and just overall friendly and helpful. Weather was great and we got time to snorkel before heading to BVI. Def the highlight was going to Soggy Dollar. They made the customs stop a breeze and was a festive still back.

We had such a great time. Captain Brett picked out a great spot for Snorkeling, Sea Turtles, Spotted Eagle ray, moray eel and a ton of fish. Riley and Elijah made sure we had everything we needed and both of them make great drinks. They were very personable and fun to joke around with. All three were very knowledgeable. Customs process is extremely efficient and maximized our time on the beach. Jost is beautiful. Truly an amazing place. On the way back we had some dolphins pay us a visit. Also claims of a whale sighting but I question that. Overall, it was one of the best times we had.

The crew are excellent, friendly and eager to serve. There's a good amount of shade on the boat and the restroom is very clean. The water can get a bit choppy.

We had a great trip to Jost on the Daydreamer with Capt. Brent, Matt, and Dan. The crew was fantastic—friendly, professional, and made the whole day an awesome experience. Seeing the baby goats on Jost was such a fun and unexpected bonus! Highly recommend this trip.

What a fabulous day we had, the crew was amazing, the group we were with was rather small and the crew was able to give us all special attention. The breakfast and cocktails on board were very fresh and refreshing. We enjoyed breakfast in St Thomas, snorkeling on St John with sea turtles, (amazing experience for us), and then lunch and cocktails on Jost Van Dyke. The entire day was the adventure of our vacation. We would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone!

My goodness! Sun and fun all day long! We had such a delightful and memorable time! The three man crew were so polite and helpful in explaining what to expect! Safety was their top priority! They also had a nice breakfast on board. One of the crew, we called him Sazzy (spelling?) was so awesome! He was a world full of knowledge of the area and yes, the world! He made the best drinks 🍹and walked us through where the best snorkeling spots were at. He also kept us very entertained! The view while snorkeling was so beautiful and breathtaking! They all made you feel comfortable with the personaI property and helped with customs since we were going to the British Islands! The trip to Jost Van Dyke was great! The staffs at their shops were so helpful and worked with you on all your purchases! Good restaurants on the island too! I would definitely recommend you to do it and the price was well worth it! We also met some wonderful passengers! ❤️

The snorkeling was excellent. Jost van Dyke was wonderful. Saw turtles and rays. White Bay was gorgeous. Soft sand and crystal clear water. Lunch at Hendos was delicious and of course the painkillers at Soggy Dollar went down nicely. The crew were very attentive and informative. Would do it again.

Amazing adventure was only surpassed by the amazing crew. We had a smaller group and the crew paid extra attention to everyone. Made us feel safe and at home on the boat.

Our day aboard the Lady Lindsey to Jost Van Dyke was hands down our favorite excursion ever—and we’ve done a lot of water excursions over the years. From start to finish, everything was seamless, fun, and truly memorable. The crew was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and full of good energy that made the entire trip even better. Jost Van Dyke is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and a laid-back island vibe that just makes you want to stay forever. It was the perfect spot for relaxing, exploring, and just soaking it all in. We had four teenagers with us, and they all agreed this was a highlight of the trip—no small feat when you’re trying to please a group that age! Whether it was snorkeling, beach time, or just hanging on the boat with great music and great views, there was something for everyone. Truly a 10/10 experience. Don’t miss this if you’re in the UVIs.

My husband and I had an incredible time sailing the Caribbean Sea during one day of our week long vacation to St Thomas. The catamaran picks you up at the St Thomas Ritz Carlton, which is worth seeing and getting a margarita at after this day trip. From the minute the tour started the crew was fun, attentive but also chill. The day starts out with a light breakfast and juices on board before snorkeling in a fantastic spot (tons of AMAZING fish here that we did not see at our hotel beach). Then the open bar starts (the crew doubles as excellent bar tenders- I’d recommend at lear a few rum & cokes then one Rum Punch). Then Jost Van Dyke DOES not disappoint. It’s natural beauty and super laid back beach bars made for a fun barefoot afternoon. The sail back to St Thomas was even fun. 8 hours flew by. I’d recommend this trip to ANYONE going to the island for vacation.

Highlight of our trip! Wonderful experience, the boat was extremely clean, and professional staff (very attentive & courteous). Well worth the price as this is an all day adventure. If traveling to St. Thomas, highly recommend. Thank you again to the staff!

It was a fantastic day with Captain Jolene and her crew! This was a must-do on this trip to the USVI. I loved Jost and can't wait to go back to the BVI. The crew was great and friendly; they handled everything with ease. I LOVED seeing a female captain and crew. Coming from a family of tugboat captains, I know it can be a male-dominated field. I have used Cruz Bay watersports multiple times in St Thomas, and they have never been anything better than the best. You could tell the difference between Captain and crew while watching other characters enter Jost. Even with a swell, Captain Jolene quickly dropped and picked up everyone from the beach. She was right on time, and there were no hiccups. We watched numerous other charters let their guests off in shoulder-to-head deep water while they held their possessions over their head trying to swim to shore. They handled the clearing of customs once we got the BVI and we got a great snorkel spit along the way! 10/10

I have been on many excursions like this with my family over the years. This was by the far the best and couldn’t recommend it enough. We left from the beach at the Ritz, were snorkeling within 45 minutes and on our way to Jost van Dyke with cocktails in hand soon thereafter. The captain, Jolene, and her crew were fun and knowledgeable. They created a great atmosphere for everyone to have fun and enjoy the day. An extended period of time at the Soggy Dollar for lunch made for a nice and relaxing day.

The crew, the views, the experience was excellent! It was our last day Grand Finale!! I highly suggest this to whomever is thinking of doing an excursion.

Pricey but certainly worth it. Morning snorkel and breakfast then cruising to Jost Van Dyke. Spend approximately 3 hours on the beach at Soggy Dollar Bar. Great experience food and drinks. Great day on the water with our captain Jolene and awesome deck mates. Thanks Jolene and Adios Jost!!

The crew was the best! We hit a great snorkeling spot and still had plenty of time at Jost Van Dyke. I would highly recommend this trip.

This was our favorite thing we did on our whole trip! The boat was very nice and clean. The crew was phenomenal (Captain Jolene, Lindsey and Danny). They were very professional, knowledgeable, attentive and kept the good vibes going the whole time. The snorkeling was the best I've ever done, we saw a few turtles, stingray, eel, conch, and tons of fish. Soggy dollar was amazing and the water was the clearest and bluest I've ever seen. I can't recommend this tour enough!! Just do it 😊

We enjoyed every minute of this excursion. The catamaran was beautiful & well maintained. The crew was attentive, personable & informative. The views were breathtaking!!! We were able to see turtles & stingrays while snorkeling. The Soggy Dollar food was delicious. The White Bay beach was clean, clear & a vibrant teal color. Highly recommend this trip.

Sooo fun! Crew and captain were great! You get to spend a lot of time in White Bay, which we loved. They provided drinks, snacks and the service was great!

Trip was canceled by the operator, no prior notice. No one answers calls. Very unprofessional. Wasted a day, I would book other excursions, if I knew ahead of time. Instead we are trying to figure out what to do, all of the similar trips leave early, we can't book anything else. Kid is upset. Dragged her out of bed, and she does not get to go, very upset. The weather is pretty, I don't understand why they just cancle us.

The very best crew makes the very best experience. Joleen, our captain, Lindsay and Nichole, the creww and Sally the new hire in training were all exceptional. Good humored, attentive, accommodating yet keeping a strong safety protocol and schedule. And the ship was absolutely immaculate. Drinks really good. What more could you want? Amazing.

Booked several vViator tours and none of them happened. The last one changed our location the day before. Cost us an inconvenience and an extra $40 in taxi fare.

Immaculate catamaran operated by a wonderful, exceedingly competent, and friendly crew under Captain Joleen. Snorkel stop was beautiful (sea turtles, rays!) and crew provided cool/useful notes and tips for our stops.

Excellent day of sailing, snorkeling, and indulging in Pain Killers at the Soggy Dollar. Such a gorgeous white beach and water so turquoise it's hard to believe. Loved our snorkle off of St. John too- saw turtles and a stingray- and had excellent care from the crew of the Daydreamer.
