This popular sail departs directly from The Ritz-Carlton Resort’s beach, and begins with ice-cold cocktails while underway to St. John where you may dine at the restaurant of your choosing. Departing from St. John after dinner, you will enjoy a starlight cruise home, a full open bar and cordials to finish the evening before disembarking back at The Ritz-Carlton Resort.
It was cancelled by the tour operator. I am awaiting a refund. I think it would still be a great experience based on my snorkeling trip the day prior with the same operator. It is low season so I understand cancellations may happen of Not enough people sign up to go
Highly recommend this fun excursion. The captain and crew were attentive and amazing. Light apps and open bar on the way there to St. John’s and coffee and some chocolates on the way back. We had dinner at St. John’s and it really was a wonderful evening.
Awesome crew and awesome experience 10/10 I highly recommend trying them out. They give an excellent trip to and from with fun and food and drinks!!
Too quick on St. John. Stores were closed before we could even get to them would definitely have liked to have more time to shop about
The best part of this experience was showing up to the Ritz a few hours before and getting to hang out on the private beach. Also, the crew was exceptional! My only notes for others considering this experience: It was not as intimate as I'd hoped, there were about 20 people on the boat and its fairly tight. The large majority of people had about 10 drinks on the 30 min ride over to St. John and were stumbling around. If I were to do it again, I would expect a high energy, party vibe rather than intimacy. I might just get a day pass to the Ritz for the private beach and then take a ferry over to St. John for dinner.
Awesome upscale experience! Catamaran sail was smooth with great views and drinks w/ appetizers. Crew were fantastic! Would definitely take again to show friends visiting St. Thomas!
Board from the beach at St. Thomas. No shoes allowed on the boat. Served 3 appetizers on the way over, unlimited drinks. On the way back served coffee and some chocolate from the bar area but would have been better to announce this in the way back.

We had an amazing time! From beginning to end the whole crew (Captain Jolene, Logan and Marshall) were very hospitable. Having snacks and an open bar were great. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Morgan's Mango on St John. I'd highly recommend this excursion.
Nice relaxing trip to and from St John from St Thomas. The crew was super attentive and helped navigate of recommended spots once I got to St John. They even walked everyone to their dinner reservations locations. Loved a smaller group vs the normal 80.
Wear flip flops, not shoes and socks. Be prepared for a $250.00 dinner (worth every penny). And rig for great fun.

The location for pick up and drop off was convenient, the crew was outstanding, along with the catamaran. We had a couple of hours on St. John to eat and discover the Beach Bar. This is a must!
Had a great sail to St John. The captain and crew were very helpful. The snacks and drinks were great. If you did not have a diner reservation they had many suggestions. I would recommend this sailing.
Great trip, but boarding thru a rocky bottom and seaweed wasn’t great, especially on return in the dark and higher tide, deserts on the return were put out before the re-boarding time and were melting, and hors d’oeuvres were good but minimal for the price point. Views on the back of the boat are also mostly obstructed, so seating with good views are limited.
MAKE SURE YOU CALL EARLY TO CONFIRM YOUR BOOKINGS. I called to confirm my Dinner Sail to St John the morning of the sail. I booked it and paid in full over two months ago. The person on the phone informed me that the sail was cancelled. They claimed to have left a voicemail to notify me 3 weeks before the sail but I have no such voicemail from them and they did not return the money until I called the day of the sail. I’m very disappointed to say the least as it was our last day of the trip. They offered to reschedule on a snorkeling tour but I booked a dinner sail; snorkeling is not a replacement for a dinner sail. I’m frustrated that they didn’t try to contact me more actively or just return the money when they knew the trip was canceled.
We had a great time - boat, crew, experience were all top notch. Also great it left directly from our hotel so could not have been easier!
We had a wonderful time on our sail to St John with Captain Joleen, Ben, and Megan. They were wonderful hosts. The views were amazing during sunset and then the full moon, and we had just the right amount of time for dinner and shopping on St John. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!
It’s was an amazing ride to and from the drinks and hors d’oeuvres were great. Seeing the stars and the scenery was amazing. The crew was very polite and amazing. Would definitely recommend people take it when they visit.
This was an amazing experience with an amazing team. Elijah and Carter were great. The ride to St Jon’s was so peaceful and serene. We will do this again.
Nice night, great crew. Good overall event. The food, snacks appetizers were underwhelming, and overall lacking in volume and quality. That said, we were heading to St. John for dinner, and did not need a lot. But something nicer would have been an improvement.

The crew was very informative and helpful for the trip to and from St. John. There was sufficient time to eat and tour St. John. The big Surprise; however, was the fact that you had to get on the Catamaran from the beach at the Ritz-Carlton. This meant having to remove footwear and walking on uneven rocks to get to steps to get onboard. The water was about two feet deep and our clothing got wet. Coming back, we had to exit in the dark (although lights did help somewhat). It would be helpful for this information to be included. The catamaran docked at a pier in St. John, so this was not an issue at that location. Nevertheless, we recommend this tour.

Safety is key and the crew made sure that everyone felt safe. The boat was sooooo nice and modern and clean. They were also helpful with info once we got to St John’s. It was a great excursion and I would definately do it again!
The weather, the evening of our trip was not great. It was raining. But the crew on the ship were outstanding. They gave us great service great information and we had a lot of fun. They encouraged everyone to mix up and visit which we did. Had great dinner on St. John and smooth sailing to and from even though the water was a little rough. But highly recommend this outing.
Spent most of time motoring and very very little time sailing! I was very disappointed, I booked to sail not drink!!!
The crew was awesome with helping us, providing safety information, and serving us. We enjoyed St. John, the people there were polite and kind.
Experiencing St. John was definitely a high. The lows were the lack of railings on the boat to get on and off. That needs to be corrected.
Captain Heather & her crew were fantastic. The catamaran was beautiful also. It was very smooth sailing with delicious hordoeureves & of course a well stocked bar. I will definitely do this again when I come back to visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

They all are very nice and had a great time except that the cold drinks were not ready. They gave us one glass and when you came back for the second, they said “it’s not cold”. Just one little thing to improve. Thank you.
Enjoyed the cruise to St. John the staff was great. Would had been better if sailing during sunset. The cost of this sail was not worth it, it was very expensive for services provided by vendor: The sail was less than a hour to St. Johns, and return trip was 1/2 hour. The Hors D'oeuvres were corn chips and salsa, dinner was on your own and the deserts were store bought cheese cake squares and brownies. I would never recommend to anyone.
Great evening sail with the most amazing staff on board the Lady Linsey sunset cruise to St John VI. The cocktails were great and we met wonderful people from many different places.

The sail to and from St John was wonderful, Capt Anna and her crew were amazing. The appetizers were delightful as wall as the desserts on the cruise back. It was a memorable evening as the sky was so clear we even got a glimpse of VENUS. I recommend this cruise as my entire family were amazed at how beautiful it was
Sailing to St. John was so amazing. The water was calm, the weather was beautiful, and scenery I'll never forget.

This was an amazing experience! The crew was kind and helpful, they had delicious food/drinks, the vessel was clean and beautiful; it was an overall great time. I gave it 4/5 stars insread of 5/5 because I do wish the sailing part was a little longer.

The sailboat was just beautiful!! The crew was so nice and made sure we had enough drinks and food. It was so romantic on the way back under the star lit sky. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Beautiful sail on a gorgeous ship. The crew was great and very attentive. Wish it was a longer sail but was still a great experience to have on our honeymoon.
My daughter and I took two trips, dinner sail to St. John and snorkel trip also to St. John. We had Capt Jolleen for both and she was great. First trip crew Matt and Alyssa were very personable and fun. Snorkel trip Jason and Paul equally great. Drinks flowed throughout both trips. Everyone had a really good time and we hung out on our snorkel trip with some folks we met on the dinner sail. More than well worth the cost and the views of the islands that you get from the water were beautiful.
Catamaran, staff, and activity was perfect. The sail to St.John’s was breath taking. The drinks and finger food was so tasty. When we arrived to St. John the town stay was just enough to eat dinner and do some shopping. The sail back was also memorable with all the stars so bright in the sky.
My wife and I decided to book this cruise as a Christmas present from dad and a last night out before we left to go back home. The cruise wasn't as we expected but the catamaran was nice and clean. The crew was amazing, Will, Izzy and Jay was great but as far as the actual cruise there wasn't really anything to it. Yes, open bar was good and the music was neutral but there was no interaction as far as which islands we were passing, history about St. Thomas/St.John etc. We feel like there could've been opportunity to hear about the culture. Honestly, the cruise was transportation only and we should've went the ferry route to St. John and it would've been more entertaining and less money. The only thing to really rave about is the hospitality from the staff. We don't think this cruise is worth booking in the future, especially with the price point and still having to pay for dinner once we get to the island. Our suggestion is booking an actual dinner cruise through the other catamaran line and it does include open bar and dinner on the ship for a lower price point. The crew on that ship is very entertaining and engaging as well...oh and very knowledgeable about the islands and its history.
We had a beautiful time on this dinner sail! The captain and crew were wonderful, they came around with amazing appetizers on our way over to St. John. We got to see a stunning sunset. Then we docked at St. John and the crew helped us find our way to our dinner reservation. After dinner we returned to the boat (Lady Lynsey) and were served drinks and desserts on our sail back to the resort! Highly recombed, everyone on board had a lovely time, and we met some great people!
