St. Thomas & St. John Private Luxury Full-day Sail (12 Guest Max)

This was an awesome adventure. We got to see beaches and parts of the island inaccessible any other way. Jeramy and Jamie were knowledgeable and taught us a ton about the island and the ocean. The service and food was great and I would definitely go again. Worth every penny!

From start to finish our experience was laid back, informative, fun. The food and mixed drinks were the best on the island and surrounding waters. Jeremy and Jamie have expert knowledge and can get you to the secluded places you need to see.

Jeremy, the captain, and Jamie , the first mate were excellent. We had a great day snorkeling and sailing. We were greates with fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls. We sailed to St. John’s and had a great place to snorkel with plenty of fish to see. Then off to a beach to snorkel and to watch turtles. Lunch was great with a carmalized grilled cheese and grilled chicken censor salad. Great rum punch and pain killers with an afternoon chocolate chip cookie snack. I would highly recommend this trip.

Jeremy and Jamie were excellent. What an awesome day. Would definitely recommend this day trip with them. Lunch was included and was yummy. Called to let them know a few days before sailing pregnant daughter not enjoying chicken at this time. Had a great substitute for her everything was wonderful. We had cinnamon rolls fresh fruit for breakfast. They provided beer soda, or water. Later in the day we had painkillers and rum punch. Took us to some places that had beautiful swimming and snorkeling. Did great explaining the islands we were cruising by. Again, would highly recommend this Day trip absolutely wonderful time.

Jamie and Jeremy are the best of the best, we went on a full day tour where we saw so many beautiful sites. We also went to Scott's beach which is very private since you can only get there by boat. Jamie cooked us a wonderful lunch. Would def recommend doing this tour

Absolutely the best experience! Gabby and Jamie were amazing! Gabby- great attitude and best bartender. Jamie - best captain and amazing guide . Would recommend 100% and would return no doubt. The food was emasculating and can’t wait to visit again to see them !

Highly recommend for such a unique experience, we enjoyed our day sailing and got to enjoy a very clean private beach all to ourselves! The girls were so friendly and warm welcoming instantly.

We did a full day charter from St. John, and I can honestly say that from start to finish it was the best experience I've had on a chartered boat and it was the best day of our vacation! The crew was UNBELIEVABLE! They were so diligent, attentive, chatty, and caring. They took amazing care of our two young boys and even accommodated the younger one's request for buttered noodles. They sought out wildlife and helped the boys feed Lefty the seagull and lots of fish, which they loved. I only wish we could have stayed the entire week on the boat--it was that excellent! Do yourself a favor and book this. It absoluately worth every penny.

We had such ann amazing experience and price was just right for the four of us. The places we stopped at to snorkel were top notch. Especially, the one where we had the beach to ourselves. The lunch that was provided along with the drinks was perfect. I’d definitely book again 😃

Terrific day with Capt. Jamie and mate Emma who were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. We went to two excellent snorkeling sites. Between sites we got information about the local history and folklore. We had an excellent lunch prepared by Emma which was delicious. We have been coming to St. Thomas for over 30 years. We have sailed with legendary captains during that time. We have sailed with Sweet Pea Charters before. There were three generations of us and the days have been repeatedly enjoyed by all. Accommodations are made so that all ages and skill levels have enjoyable experiences. They get my highest rating!

They say their goal is to make it the best day of your vacation and they did! Captain John and First mate/chef Jamie were friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful! Our family LOVED our time on the boat and at the stops and I can’t finish the review without mentioning the food! The lunch Jamie prepared hit the spot and the grilled cheeses (and grilled butter sandwich made to order for my no cheese daughter!!) were soooo delicious! If we ever make it back to St Thomas we would absolutely book with Sweet Pea again!!

This was the best day of our trip. Absolutely amazing. My family will have such great memories of this day. The crew were so kind and the food and drinks also fantastic.

Capt John and Robin were both amazing! They weren't kidding when they said it would be the best day of our family vacation! They picked us up in St. John. We seen dolphins on our way out to our first snorkel spot. We snorkeled two different areas that were both amazing. Fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Robin ensured we always had a fresh tasty drink and made a lovely lunch for us, which we happily scarfed down! Capt John was very personable and informative! We would rebook this exact trip again in a heartbeat! 10/10!

Jeremy and Jamie took us to some of the most beautiful spots around St John. We were able to just enjoy the trip, feel the wind in our hair and relax as we toured several islands seeing all the things we wanted including sea turtles, beautiful fish and amazingly beautiful reef. Not only were they knowledgable about the island they were just kind service people. In addition, the food and libations exceeded expectations. We come back every 2 years and will definitely use Sweet Pea again.

The Sweet Pea was an AMAZING island experience! Captain John and First Mate Robin were THE BEST! We cruised on the catamaran and Captain John gave us the full history of the Islands! We had the best time! Captain John asked what we were interested in seeing and he tailored an itinerary for us. Ella(?) was very sweet and knowledgable. Food was excellent. But the personalized day of beach hopping was priceless.

We had three incredible private charters on Sweet Pea in March. The boat is perfect for exploring St. Thomas and St. John and snorkeling off. And the crew is truly second-to-none. They take amazing care of you and provide the "best day ever" experience on steroids. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Sweetpea is a MUST if you’re looking for a private charter that also serves delicious food & drinks. The captain, Robin & Ella were so nice and always asking if we needed anything. They took us to fantastic snorkeling spots where we saw tons of sea turtles, sting rays, starfish, beautiful coral, etc. We 💯 will do it again & recommend to our friends!

Captain John and Robin created a relaxed family fun adventure, they prioritized us having a sailings swimming experience. Food and drinks were excellent. Highlight of our trip.

We had an amazing time on the water with our day sailing with Captain John and first mate Jamie. Our families enjoyed great snorkeling sights and a serene beach. The food, drinks, and music was icing on the cake. Can’t say enough nice things about our day trip and friendliness of the captain and first mate. Would for sure book again!!

If I could give this 10 out of 5, I would. This was the most memorable thing ever. My wife’s siblings/spouses and mother booked this for a day. They took us over to St John at our request, we snorkeled, had the most amazing lunch and then went to a key (forget the name) and snorkeled again. The provided breakfast, lunch, and any drinks we needed. The lunch was not standard premade sandwiches, I’m talking get out the grill and see the table classy style. The boat was extremely comfortable, roomy, and provided adequate shade or sun, whichever was needed. Captain John was extremely engaging and friendly, great conversationalist and he was a great captain. Julie was the first mate and went above and beyond with her service, making sure we had everything we needed and drinks in hand at all times, and was an incredible cook, even making fresh brownies on the boat (impressive). This was such a memorable day for everyone, the weather was rainy at times but trust me it will not hamper your experience. If you get a chance to book the sweet pea, I would highly recommend it. Thanks to everyone that made this such a great experience.

Family of 8 from Ontario Canada- a truly wonderful experience! Captain John and 1st mate Robyn were exceptional! We were on RCL Allure of the Seas - cab ride to Red Hook marina- Fruit and pastry breakfast- chicken salad lunch followed by warm chocolate chip cookies- snorkelling and beach at St. John island-lounging on catamaran and full bar! Kudos to a job well done!

Spent a whole day on Sweet Pea from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. There were six family members. The all-female crew were extremely efficient & delightful. We sailed throughout the St Thomas & St John Bays. Anchored in two different spots for snorkeling and /or swimming. The crew pointed out all the interesting history of the various islands. The captain kept a close inventory of the snorkelers through binoculars. The first mate attended to all the refreshments & served a delicious gourmet lunch, ending with warm chocolate chip cookies served in a scallop shell. It was a wonderful day & highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. My husband isn't really into the boating excursions, but really enjoyed this trip. Addison and Robin were the perfect pair for this voyage. They provided a day filled with delicious food, drinks, and relaxation. We would definitely do it again.

This was Our Favorite Tour!!!! Captain Jamie and Robin were Great!!!! The Best Crew i have ever had!!! We had two snorkeling stops and a beautiful beach stop under Kenny Chesneys house which was a plus seeing i’m a part of the No Shoes Nation ❤️❤️❤️ Drinks were great and Food was Awesome!!! We had such a great time yesterday. Sam and Jamie did a wonderful job. We spent the full day out on the water - Relaxing . Snorkeling we saw Turtles and Fish. Food was delicious. I would recommend this trip.

Sweet Pea Charters was a fantastic trip! We are a family of four. We let them know what we wanted to see and what we enjoyed and they explained our options, we made our choices and we just got to sit back and enjoy. As a mom, of ornery teenagers it was the best part of our trip. I didn’t need to worry about anything. They do everything, food, drinks, music, snorkel gear. We saw turtles, fish, got to lounge on the boat, Captain Jon and Sam gave us a lot of suggestions, could tells us all sorts of things about the area and surrounding islands. We just had a wonderful day. It was worth every cent to be able to do this with just our family. There is nothing we would change and we would do it again tomorrow!

Everything about the day was perfect. The lunch was incredible, the captain and first mate were super friendly and the destinations were absolutely breathtaking. My 16 yo daughter said it was the absolutely best day of her life. Worth every penny!!

Jackpot! The crew with Captain Shawn, Lauren, Stein and ? were super friendly, professional, and fun. They very effectively explained all the safety runs, with humor, and efficiently raised the sail. We listened to Jurassic park as one of the crew pointed out the wildlife and nesting birds we motored pass some islands. The snorkeling was fabulous! We got to see huge turtles feeding below, and one was so close it almost bumped me as it came up for air. John also saw a spotted ray, and we both saw a common ray on ocean floor - VERY exciting! We had snorkeled a lot, and in the open water. We had seen hundreds of beautiful bright ocean fish at the shoreline but this habitat and turtles, and rays were special. We were about to follow other snorkelers to see a yellow octopus by the shoreline when we realized it was not our group and we were out of time. Fabulous day! Very thankful we signed up for this experience. The lunch spread was delicious too!

We had the most incredible private luxury catamaran experience in St. Thomas and St. John today. From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Jeremy made us feel completely taken care of — he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about these islands. His first mate, Jamie, prepared an unbelievable lunch for us… truly above and beyond anything I expected on a boat. The flavors, the presentation, the attention to detail — everything was perfect. Sam was also amazing and provided such thoughtful service throughout the entire trip. I tend to get seasick, and the whole crew was so attentive and kind, constantly checking in and making sure I felt comfortable the entire time. And the cherry on top? Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies served on sea shells. I mean… who does that?! Such a magical, thoughtful touch. If you’re thinking about booking a catamaran in the USVI, this is the one. Exceptional service, delicious food, stunning views, the best snorkeling spots, and a crew that genuinely cares. An absolute dream day.

All the 5 stars reviews are right! Captain John and First Mate Jamie were super accommodating. The spot we snorkeled in was full magic, three different marine ecosystems off a pristine deserted beach. You could hear wild donkeys and birds and waves, nothing else. We have some accessibility issues in our party and getting from the dinghy into the main boat involved some challenge. The boat itself needs some climbing to get from front to back, but our whole party was able to find comfortable places to watch the wild islands go by. The crew was also there at every turn to help us. The lunch was delicious and even more charming when we learned that the original owner loved Popeye, hence the spinach salad! Truly a wonderful day. Thank you!!

From the fruits and party arrival to the drinks onboard and the most delicious lunch, how could it get any better! The boat was clean. Had more than enough coverage for shade but also a great area for the sun chasers! Drinks were served. Views were taking in and our moms got one hell of an experience with Sweet Pea!! Thank you!!

This is our second trip on Sweet Pea charters! They are excellent tour guides and know the best spot for snorkeling and relaxing. Lavongo Bay was an amazing place to snorkel with lots of fish, eagle rays, barracuda and so much more. Christmas Cove also had lots of fish, turtles, and more. Very relaxing day. No rush and they cater to your every need. Jaimie fixed a wonderful lunch with Cesar salad and gourmet grilled cheese muffins. John was our captain and he gave us lots of facts about the islands. Highly recommend Sweet Pea charters!

Our group of two families including teens celebrated a 50th birthday as a surprise! From the moment we arrived, we knew this would be an amazing day. We started with a delicious fruit tray, then yummy cinnamon rolls. We snorkeled in two spots, saw turtles, tons of fish, star fish, rays, sharks and dolphins! The kids paddle boarded. The captain and first mate were so knowledgeable and made us feel at home. Lunch was delicious and we never wanted the day to end. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone especially to a group that wants to avoid the crowds. This was a day trip from a cruise vacation. They accommodated our cruise arrival and departure without any issues. Our family travels a fair amount and we agreed this was our favorite excursion ever!

Capt Jamie and Robbie were outstanding! Excellent service all around. Very patient and accommodating for my elderly mother… could not have been more helpful. We have been coming to St. Thomas for over 20 years and they took us to a snorkel site we had never seen before. It might be the best site yet. The fruit, drinks and lunch were outstanding. Cannot recommend them more. We will certainly book them when we come back. Rob’s attire was awesome. He should honestly start his own line of clothing for crews of sailing vessels.
