Excellent tour to experience the highlights of St Thomas. Godfrey is very knowledgeable of the history and is an outstanding driver in all of the traffic congestion making it so nice to relax and view the sights as he drove us safely through the traffic. Godfrey was always pointing out and explaining points of interest as we passed by. We had several scheduled stops along the way and Godfrey was there with us to tell us about our stop and also take our pictures for us if needed. The time spent at the beautiful beach was very relaxing. This was our first tour after arriving in St Thomas and it was a great way to start our vacation! Would definitely recommend taking this tour! Outstanding!!!

Very informative. Got to see St Thomas in one comprehensive trip. Godfrey is so full of information. He is a warm accommodating host which I find refreshing in this unfriendly island. He took care of us. We had snack and cold drinks. Try this trip. You won’t be disappointed

Godfrey did a great job showing us his island. Very hilly but also beautiful. He supplies plenty of water and soda. He even had some chips for the ride. He kepted us on schedule and gave us choices on what beach to leave us at for the final 2 hrs. Of excursion. He was waiting for us after to take us back to the ship.

Excellent informative (5 ☆)spoken tour, plenty time down town shopping, sight seeing, mountain top highest mountain with famous Banana Daiquiri, 2 hrs at Magens Bay beach. Wonderful excursion! Mr. Godfrey is so knowledgeable of the island and takes pride in his work. We learned so much about the history and culture of St. Thomas.

The tour was nice and very informative once we figured out where we had to be. I tried communicating through viators website and the tour guide never responded to me. We got off the cruise ship and had no idea where to go and when the tour truck was coming. Tried calling the tour guides phone and no answer. Luckily we found a few other people that had gathered around us. But instead of the tour truck pulling in front of where we were told to sit. He pulled into parking lot and waved us all over rather than coming over to us and introducing himself. Just felt a little uninviting at first. Once on the truck it was a pretty nice ride (quite scary as they drive on the opposite sides of the roads). They don’t have speed limits really and there a sharp turns that scare you as well. But we were offered drinks and snacks which was nice. The tour started at a small area of tents for souvenirs which was ok but some things were a little bit too expensive. There were bathrooms at the first stop which was great. I didn’t like how we were told a time to get back into truck but I was called about 10 minutes early because everyone else was ready to go. Weird how tour guides phone worked then. lol! After that we went to a very high area for more information, over priced shopping, and banana daiquiri. We then proceeded to Megan’s beach which we were informed several times is $7 to get in. But if we didn’t want that beach he took us to coco beach, or our last choice was back to the ship. We chose to go back to ship and shop and then relax. Overall the tour was informative and we did enjoy ourselves but probably would not do that tour again.

Very professional and courteous. Good mix of sightseeing locations. Kept tour on time. Variety of drinks and snacks were provided.

Great trip from start to end. I'm staying on STT for a few days, while the other passengers were on a cruise, so I was the only one going to the beach. I choose Corki and the driver dropped me off, introduced me to a beach worker and came back to get me two hours later. At drop off, he suggested a couple places to eat and the one I settled on, The Tap and Still, was great. I can definitely recommend Godfrey Tours!

Pick up was confusing. We returned to port because some people were left. Mountain Top was over crowded. Not organized, too many people for location. I had previously visited but was not able to enjoy view. Beach was nice.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Mr. Godfrey was our tour guide, and he truly knows exactly what a great tour should be. From the moment we got on his bus until the very end, he shared the history of the island in such an interesting and engaging way. He takes you to all of the popular attractions and makes sure you get to experience the best the island has to offer. He also went above and beyond by offering snacks, water, sodas, and juice throughout the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch! I’m so glad I found this tour because it was definitely worth the money! Mr. Godfrey was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Thomas. You won’t be disappointed!

Godfrey was a great tour guide and was clear about our time in a location and was punctual . He was knowledgeable and hospitable with a wide selection of beverages and chips!

We had an amazing time with Godfrey!!! If you want to see a few historic sites, get a few trinkets to remember your trip, try a banana daiquiri, and enjoy an open air ride through St Thomas...book here! We really enjoyed his stories, the amazing views, and the breezes and open-air ride! Very pleasant experience and we would recommend him to anyone visiting the island!

It's a great tour of St Thomas . At the mountain top is a beautiful view of several islands. Godfreys iscvery knowledgeable and a fantastic driver.

My family booked this as a way to experience a lot since we we only in St. Thomas for 3 days. There was confusion about meeting location because the booking site had initially suggested we could be picked up from our hotel and we ended up having to drive to the cruise ship port. Our bus initially just had our group off of 8. They dropped us at an open air market for over an hour, didnt explain much of anything just told us to go shop and he would come back. It was sweltering. When he came back his bus had like 6 other people on it. We all loaded on and then we sat there for like 20min while they tried to shove 6 more people on an already full bus. Ultimatle they did and we were all uncomfortable. They took us up to the top of mountain to another shopping center. They did give some history but we were so hot and frustrated at this point half my group wanted to leave. We made 2 view stops down the mountain. At the first we finally got the promised could drinks and the second was another shopping stop. By this time some people had to go back to their cruise ship. My group was hot tired and did not feel like going to the paid beach. So we opted off. Would not recomend.

This is the second time doing this type of a tour in St. Thomas ( shopping downtown, a stop at Mountaintop, and a stop a Magens Bay Beach). Last time we booked directly with the big cruise company. This time we went through Tripadvisor. I have to say the itinerary for these two tours was almost identical. The difference is that booking with Godfrey Tours through tripadvisor was about 1/3 the cost as booking with the cruise company. We had Godfrey as our tour guide. He was kind and professional. He provided a lot of interesting commentary about the island along the way. There was some slight logistical issues picking us up in the morning and they ended up being a bit late, but they had a representative at the port communicating this with us so we at least knew what was going on...Ultimately it was not that big of a deal. Magens Bay Beach is the highlight of this tour. this beach is a must see. we spent about 2 hours at the beach, and honestly I could have spent the entire day. It is such a beautiful beach. If you want to snorkel, you will need to bring your own equipment or rent it at the beach. since its a sandy bottom beach, there isnt a ton of tropical fish like a reef but we did see sea turtles, sting rays, and eagle rays while snorkeling around. The Banana daiquiris at mountaintop are actually really good!! (we got ours without rum). We had banana daiquiris at other places and the ones we had at mountaintop were by far the best. the only thing I would change was that they took us shopping first and I think that should be the last stop. by going shopping first, some places weren't open yet and it was too early to eat at one of the restaurants, which we would have like to have done if it were later in the day. all in all I would highly recommend booking this tour with Godfrey Tours.

Godfrey was a great hospitable guide. The shopping stop was first and we had just the right amount of time to not overspend. The views along the trip are spectacular. The bartender at the Mountain Top bar gave a generous pour to top the banana daiquiri. The daiquiri was so worth it. Magens Bay was beautiful and the water was perfect. However the beach was crowded and almost chaotic. It was difficult to enjoy the beach stop which was the last and longest stop. I would probably skip the beach if I had it to do again.

Worst company EVER..... We prepaid and they never bothered to pick us up. No message of any cancelation and we paid for a taxi to get there and back with no refund. When we called to find out where they were, their voicemail said it was full. We saw their vehicle pass Sapphire Beach which was the pick up location. We chatted with Viator whom we booked this excursion with. They claimed Godfrey Tours sent a cancelation message and said we would be refunded. We received that message later that afternoon, so be careful you don't get the runaround too. Apparently they like to overbook and we were the ones on vacation they picked to try to mess up our day. Didn't work.........

Absolutely the best tour. Godfrey has a wealth of knowledge about the islands and is such a nice guy! So worth the price for a very enjoyable day.

We only did the sightseeing and beach portion of this tour. It was a 4 hour tour and our pickup time was 10:30. Since they stagger who is doing what portion of the tour there are drop offs and pick ups along the way. We did the Mountain Top which was absolutely stunning. The day we were there it was very busy so after standing outside to hear the story and then take photos there was not enough time to shop or buy a drink. Not an issue as we knew that we would have that option later. There are stops along the way down- also stunning views. We spent 2 hours at Maegan’s Bay Beach- $7 entry per person and we rented 2 chairs with umbrella for $40. Lovely beach- was in the water quite a while. We did not get back to our cruise ship until around 4:30. Obviously this was later than 4 hours. Our driver was well aware of when our cruise ship was leaving port so we had no concerns at all. It is a stunning island and we enjoyed driving around to see the different parts as we did drop off/ pick up. The extended time is no way a negative thing for us but just an FYI if you are planning on a strict tour window that may or may not happen. You are on “island time”.

Totally worth the price! Did the 6 hour tour which was slightly longer but saw so much. Godfrey is full of information about the island. We were picked up earlier than planned but that was communicated via text the night before. No waiting around as mentioned in other reviews. Plenty of cold drinks for the whole day! Everything was perfect!

I was texted at 2am to tell me that my picked up time changed from noon to 9:30am, then after I confirmed, I received a cancelation text. Promise I'd a refund that I did not get, but will dispute if not received in 2 days.

They were very unorganized and their itinerary didn’t match what we did except for the banana daiquiri top of the hill

Pick up point at havensight needs to be updated, as the area around gate 3 is cordoned off. We had to get in touch to revise the pick up point.

We had switched hotels last minute and the driver was still able to pick us up on time which we really appreciate,The tour guide was very informative and very kind , loved everything about this tour 100% worth it for a very good price !!!

I am saddened by the poor customer service I received today and the disrespectful way I was spoken to by the Godfrey Tours representative. He text me at 2am which I did not see til after 7am that they needed to move our tour time, but I explained we have to work later and needed the original time. He offered to pick us up at 10 and do a shortened tour but we wanted the full experience as that is what we paid for. The manner in which he spoke to me was very disrespectful. He said other customers moved their times and he couldn't pay a driver just to pick us up. Not our problem. Then said another colleague who booked as well for today, didn't have a reservation though she booked and paid and had tickets through Viator as well. He then proceeded to tell me the shops aren't even open til after 10. I asked him why there was an 8:30am tour option to begin with then. He had the audacity to raise his voice at me and then said something about cruise ships not being in, etc. I told him we are not here as part of a cruise. I'm waiting on our refund. First time in St.Thomas, but if service is like this, it will be the last.

This was an amazing excursion! Godfrey was a great tour guide. He provided knowledge while safely getting us around the island. It was well worth the $$$! Snacks and drinks provided. Godfrey made sure to provide time at each stop while making sure we were back on the cruise ship in time.

Well, it was hard to find our tour guide at the port. . He was very informative..Nice person but the time we got back to the Ship was cutting it too close..We all were sweating..I wasnt to happy with that part, .15mins before pull off is not a exciting feeling.

We really enjoyed our tour through Godfrey! We ended up with Lovecab as our driver and he was great! I was so thankful we were chauffeured up to mountain top, as that drive is not for the faint of heart, but we felt safe and secure. Godfrey was extremely informative at the stops and Lovecab was very accommodating, letting us skip the shopping and head straight to the beach. He even gave us the opportunity to view the beach before deciding whether or not we wanted to stay there. We had a group of 7 and all said we would recommend the tour through Godfrey and even do another again!

Started out bumpy, but tour operator contacted us and gave us a new meeting spot. Other than that the tour was great. Got to see a lot throughout the whole day! For the price you CANNOT beat it! Would book again if we come back in the future

The tour was delayed due to phone outtage and driver did not show. We waited nearly 2 hours for our tour to begin along with another family. It was stressful and frustrating as some tour staff ensured us that our drive was on his way. It would only be 20 minutes longer. Finally, the owner Godfrey showed up himself to conduct our tour. He was great! Although, we had a rough beginning, the tour was completed but cut short due to the late start.

DON’T DO IT!! If I could give zero stars I would. They were a no show, I had reached out multiple times a day before the excursion to confirm the pick up time as we chose the pick up and not going to the meeting point and zero response from the tour operator, I called and the voicemail was full. We waited over an hour past the pick time to ensure they weren’t running late. We’ve requested a refund, but I have doubts that will occur. This tour should be removed from this website as it’s a total scam!
