Rum Tasting Experience In The Old Barrel House

I had a wonderful experience on the rum tour with Daniel! He was incredibly nice, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He made the experience enjoyable and relaxed, and I felt completely comfortable throughout the tour. He was welcoming, took his time, and made sure we had a great experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. I would definitely recommend booking with Daniel if you’re looking for a fun, informative, and enjoyable rum tour!

Arrived at the designated location and was told there was no rum tasting scheduled. Viator did not contact the vendor to set up the tasting. We are trying to get a refund for the tasting that didn’t happen.

Camille was an amazing tour guide and story teller! Taking us through both the history of rum and Cardow’s within St Thomas. She made the experience so much fun and we know we would’ve enjoyed the extended tour if we had the time!

We had a great time with our short time here due to us running late. Our host still made sure we got the full experience of the history of each rum. We had the opportunity to get a second taste of the rum we preferred to drink. You will have time to take pictures and walk away with a drink for the road. We will book this tasting again when we return.

Amazing experience definitely worth every penny

Our guide Daniel was very friendly and entertaining. This is a quick lesson on rum making, then some rum tasting (yum!). Be sure to sign up for the mixology as well. We learned to make the real rum punch recipe and one more drink!

Patrickson was our host for the rum tasting experience and he did a fantastic job!. He filled in for the original person who did not show up and I am so happy he did. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than Patrickson. He was friendly, personable and FUN! I can see him outgrowing his current position and doing bigger and better things!!! My sister and I are very grateful to Patrickson for showing us a great time.

Patrickson was great but the owner forgot we even booked something. we waited 30 min before anything was figured out

This was a non-event. Someone met us in the jewelry store, walked us through one room behind it that took less than 10 minutes, and then gave us a few samples. This was not a tour in any definition of the word. This was not worth $3.50, much less $35 each.

Gavin did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and personal. I would recommend it if your interested in a rum tasting

Gavin is amazing and funny! We had the best time. It was $45 a person. It lasted about an hour. Great rum even if you arent a rum drinker. The cocktail you get to make is really delicious.

This was a fun excursion: tasting the rums was enjoyable and they all tasted great. Daniel was super nice and explained a lot about the rums. We even had some free time which was needed to get good after all that rum!!

Kim was knowledgeable about the making of rum and local history. She was personable. The rum was delicious and the room had very interesting pictures.

Operator would not respond days prior and day of to confirm details (like time as not in listing). Searched for the location for over and hour. Contact is not in service/doeant exist. Asked many locals around thee area, who had no idea and had never heard of the place. Did find one place, but they claimed it wasn't them, although photos matched the employees in this business. Tour should be removed from Viator completely.

Great history, wonderful rums and Kim is an amazing host. She was wonderful at telling us the history of the place and tell us about the different rum. If you like rum you will love theses. This is a must if coming to St.Thomas.
