Private Open-air Jeep Tour To Hidden Beaches In St. Thomas

We were on a cruise and booked this excursion hoping to see a lot of St Thomas as this was the first time we had ever been there. We have been on many excursions but this was by far the best! Scott was amazing! He took us to so many different places that you would not see unless you had a knowledgeable local....and Scott is just that. You can let him know what you would like to do and see and he will customize the trip to your wishes. We did NOT want to go anywhere "touristy" and we didn't . He took us into areas you could only access with 4 wheel drive. He provided a cooler of ice cold water and rum punch. The rum punch was delicious! 5 stars!!!!

We had a great tour with Scott, he showed us many places we would have never known to find. He knows the island very well and was a safe, great driver.

Our experience with Scott was great! We had a very easy pick up from crown bay. He made sure to find out what we were looking to experience during our time and he delivered on all of it. Great views, sharing history of island, and off the beaten path beach’s to explore ( we had almost entire beach to ourselves). He was very prepared with chairs, swim gear, drinks, and a cooler. He set up everything at all of our stops. If you’re looking for a stress free private excursion, this is what you’re looking for.

It's a long day in a bumpy Jeep so be prepared if you have any health concerns. Otherwise, we visited some remote and beautiful beaches and frequently only ones there. Guide had chairs, cooler with water, snorkel gear and floats. He also had lots of info to share.

We arrived in St Thomas with great expectation. Scott was waiting for us at the location he indicated. He gave us a plan, but it was up to us to see what we wanted to do. When he said that he was gonna take us to Brewers Beach i knew that he was the perfect guide for the excursion. A very beautiful beach with calm crystal clear waters perfect for snorkeling. We saw several turtles and tropical colorful fish. We were delighted with the rum punch that he provided (delicious) . After Brewers Beach he took us to a secret beach with a beautiful view,secluded, water was a little choppy but the isolation of the location made it all worth it. Later we ate at a Moms and Paps restaurant on the way back to the port. Delicious jerk chicken. The Mountain Top Banana Daiquiri store is fabulous, the view of the Island is fantastic. We returned to port on-time and very satisfied with the excursion. If your want to experience the Island like a local. Scott is your guide. We are happy we made a good decision.

My husband didn't have to worry about driving on the opposite side of the road, since we had a driver/guide. Best part was we got to see beaches that many will never get to see.

Scott was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the history and geography of St Thomas. Customized tour to our interests (quiet beaches not accessible to larger groups). Very polite and personable. Answered all our questions. Recommend the rhum punch! We will book with Scott again. Thanks Scott!

Great tour got to see many secluded areas. This is not your typical vanilla tour it’s tailored to what you want it to be.

This was a private tour around the island for me and my husband. The guide, Scott, customized the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He let us stay as long as we wanted at each location. It was fun riding around the island in an open jeep. Scott was friendly and knowledgeable of the island.

My brother and I went on this tour in St. Thomas during our cruise stop, and it was such an amazing experience! Scott was right on time and took us to multiple beautiful spots where we got to see some incredible views of St. Thomas. We visited two beaches. The first was a private, secluded beach that was absolutely beautiful. At the second beach, we got to see sea turtles, fish, and stingrays up close! He also set up beach chairs and let us use the snorkel gear, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour! You truly get to experience St. Thomas like a local, with a local. It was the perfect way to explore the island and see some beautiful, less touristy spots!

Great tour! You’d never find these beaches without a local guide. We swam in the Caribbean and the Atlantic, saw every inch of, and beautiful view, on the island.

Scott was the most incredible guide! He shared so much of the Island's history with us that we've never known. We visited places that people would never get to see unless they were with him! Spectacular beaches and an overall great day with the entire family! Definitely will do it again!

Tour guide took us to all the hidden unpopulated beaches on the island to include majestic overlooks. He accommodated our desire to see particular resorts, museums. Since parking is limited in town, he allowed us time to shop at several stores. He picks you up and drops you off at your resort. Would highly recommend.

Scott is a very friendly down to earth guy who will show you what it's like to live on the island. We visited a great selection of local beaches and some great more touristy view points. Highly recommend. Our teens loved it!

A great way to explore the island. Beautiful views. The jeep was comfortable and great fun. Scott took us to the most beautiful beaches. It felt like a real adventure. Scott was knowledgeable and proudly showed us around his beautiful island.

It was an absolutely incredible experience! He showed us a hidden beach that was simply breathtaking. He also helped me find Alvin’s hot sauce, which I absolutely adored. If I ever return or if any of my friends or family do, I’m definitely going to recommend him. It was truly an unforgettable experience. He even showed us Herman Crab and let us use snorkeling gear, set up comfortable beach chairs, and even let us use noodles.

Our family of three (one four year old) had a great time! Scott was accommodating and patient and we made about four stops in the four hrs, two beaches and two sight seeing/ shopping destinations. Was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the typical cruise crowd. Def recommend!

The tour was absolutely amazing! We loved the beaches—they’re all beautiful, especially Brewers Bay Beach, where we had the most incredible experience swimming with sea turtles. The service was excellent, and they provide all the necessary equipment to fully enjoy the experience. We highly recommend this tour!

We took the jeep tour with Scott, and he was very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. He clearly enjoys meeting people and sharing the island with visitors. One challenge was that it was difficult to hear him if you were seated in the back of the jeep, so we missed some of the information he was sharing along the way. The tour consisted mostly of being dropped off at different locations to explore on our own before Scott returned to pick us up. One of the stops was at The Shack, which had a delicious meal and a great atmosphere. Scott was also kind enough to stop at a grocery store on the way back to our hotel so we could pick up a few things, which we really appreciated.

Steve was a great guide, super nice guy! He showed us several beaches all of which had their own unique feel and location. So many beautiful spots! We had the opportunity to swim/snorkel on a few; walk, collect seashells on others. Majority were lesser known, local beaches-very quiet. I highly recommend this tour!

Scott did an excellent job of showcasing us parts of the Island only locals typically get to experience. Would certainly recommend and plan to rebook next time we’re in town.

Scott was terrific!! We originally had ideas where we wanted to go and he knew the best route to get there and also took us to a secluded beach that looked like something straight out of a movie! He was very nice and brought chairs, snorkeling equipment, water and some delish punch rum! We would highly recommend him!!

If I could give this more stars I would! Scott is the owner/operator and the absolute best. He contacted me just prior to arrival, gave me a description of who I was looking for, and wait for it… was early. He was very pleasant and professional in the beginning, but within 30 mins was like we had known him for ages. He is a very comfortable person to be around. Scott made sure to show us everything. We saw an overlook with a few very wonderful vendors and a man with his donkey allowing everyone to take pictures with it. One of the vendors was selling jewelry made by his daughter that was beautiful! Scott pointed out blackbeards castle, and a few other really neat places from the top… and some iguanas. Another place of great interest was the mountain top with the world’s best banana daiquiri and some great souvenir shopping. We also went to a private out of the way beach, where we were the only ones! It was beautiful. We saw Drakes seat and Scott told us the history of it and also went to a “locals” beach where we did some snorkeling. We were lucky enough to spot some sea turtles, stingrays, coral and fish. Also, got to watch a couple planes take off. Scott provided us with the snorkel gear, pool noodles, a mat to sit on, some chairs to relax in some water and some of the best rum punch I have ever had! Kudos to his fiancé, as he said she was the mastermind behind the recipe! Afterwards Scott was kind enough to take us on a bit of a side trip to Blackbeards Castle where we purchased more rum then we should have after being able to sample it ALL… it was home brewed by the gentleman selling it and is amazing! Words cannot fully explain how amazing the day was, nor can they fully express how great of a guy Scott is! He is the epitome of an amazing business owner. The company he is running is top notch and I wouldn’t want to use another company and wouldn’t recommend a different excursion or tour. A four hour tour felt like it was an all day thing and when he dropped us back off at the port, I was sad to leave.

Our family of four with two teenage daughters can’t stop talking about it. We had the most glorious private beaches to ourselves and got to swim with sea turtles, a spotted eagle ray, sting rays, starfish, barracuda. It was so much fun snorkeling. We really enjoyed Scott as our tour guide, he gave us a great tour of the island with some phenomenal views and great beaches! We were able to snorkel and see a couple sea turtles, stingray, star fish, puffer fish as well as many more. Scott brought along chairs, drinks and snorkel gear. One of the best tours we’ve been on as a family. Kids really enjoyed the not so well known beach spots. Highly recommend!

Marvelous intimate tour. Scott knows of all the best spots and took us on some true adventures including one mind blowing location like something out of a movie! We had a fantastic time!

We are so happy we went with this tour. Scott picked us up at our hotel pronto, on time. He was open to our request to visit our favorite spot from 50 years ago when we were last here on our honeymoon. He also gave us a great overview of the history and the culture of the area that we did not know about. It turned out that we had similar perspectives on many things and we had a delightful time with Scott. So don’t hesitate … book it!!

We had the most amazing time on our excursion with Rena and Malache! We had 2 Jeeps for our group of 7 (age range from 14-70). The day was very easy, go with the flow, customer driven tour! They asked us what was most important to us to see and guided us to the best spots on the island. The jeeps were stocked with drinks, chairs, beach mat, and noodles for our beach stop. The kids enjoyed snorkeling out far in the ocean, climbing trees for fresh coconuts, eating fresh mango, and having the beach virtually to ourselves. We recommend the secluded beach, a daiquiri at the mountain top, and this lovely business for your day in St. Thomas!

Great adventure to hidden places only accessible with a Jeep tour. We viewed most of STT from downtown overview to highest overlooks to remote beaches. Scott knew where all the cool spots to see beaches (sandy & rocky), wildlife (hermit crabs, deer) and the "world famous" banana daiquiri! The private tour is the way to go!!

Amazing excusion, far better then any the cruise ship could offer. 1000% will be looking up Scott if we are ever back. Even worked with us when our ship was delayed. Brought us to a beautiful beach where we were the only ones there!

I’m so glad we did this tour! We were super worried about bringing our 2.5 year old twin toddlers but Scott & Rena made it super easy and fun by supplying car seats, sand toys, chairs, water, rum punch, and a beach blanket! The hidden and nearly private beach made for an incredibly relaxing time at the beach for our family. We got to see all the must see lookouts, and it was absolutely worth it to have a private tour to come and go to places without worrying about other people when we have young kids. awesome experience. we experienced north side of St Thomas that tours do not experience. secluded beaches, and wonderful views. hidden gems of the island that locals hang out at.

Absolutely amazing! Scott was super responsive and tailored our tour based on our interests. He brought us to two stunning secluded beaches where we swam with sea turtles. We’ve done Jeep tours in other locations and this was hands down the best experience we have ever had! If you’re thinking about it, just book the tour. You won’t regret it! Our group included me and my husband, and our 6 year old son.
