Private Morning Half-day Snorkeling Trip

Very personable group to dive with, as they took the time to really ensure each group had just the right skill mix. Haven’t scuba in a while… no worries, this team has you. Ben was the best guide we have ever had. He helped my wife to get through the passes. Such an awesome team: Ben ( our favorite), Dylon and Oscar ( other group’s guides) and Stephanie(the Captain).

Dylon, Oscar, and Stephanie were great but our lead, Ben was the absolute best. He made the experience that much more enjoyable as I was nervous, haven’t not dived for a year and a half. The dive sight only took 30 minutes to get too but the sea life we encountered was awesome. Fish, turtles, ray, sharks, lobsters and so much more. If diving, in St Thomas book here

What a great time! I will definitely go on another trip with them if I ever get to go back to st Thomas. Earl was our snorkeling guide. We didn’t see much sea life that day but it wasn’t because he wasn’t trying to find anything. He was very knowledgeable and so kind! The coral was beautiful! Go ahead and book your excursion you will lot be disappointed. Be careful of the rum punch, it’ll get ya! lol captain dave and the entire crew were amazing! I wish I could remember all of their names they all deserve a shout out but again, the rum punch…… 😜

I did the snorkel trip and we went to Greater St. James and Ketchup showed us 7 sea turtles. Next we went to Little St. James and saw a Nassau Grouper, Spanish Hogfish, Cubera Snapper, Stingrays and a school of blue tangs. Ketchup was very passionate about all of the fish. He also explained how parrot fish are sequentially hermaphroditic which was cool to learn. We loved our snorkel trip and would highly recommend this dive company!

Tommy, Kyle and Abby were the best boat and people handlers ever. They picked the most fantastic spots for our seven children and six adults to snorkle and see wonderful turtles, fish and wildlife. The pizza delivered by boat was thrilling. Two large cheeses and a large pepperoni fed all 13 of use. We were stuffed. Unbelievable getting pizza in the middle of the ocean. Thanks crew for the great treatment. We are definitely doing this again and again!!!!! 5 stars all the way!

We had a great early half of the day with Aqua Marina Dive group. They were a perfect mix of professional, entertaining, and attuned to details. Some of my family scuba dived and some of us snorkeled. We all agreed it was a great trip and the team members, McKenzie, Kyle, Zach, & Captain Steph were excellent. Highly recommend!

Huge shout out to Captain Tommy and our amazing snorkeling crew of Erika and Jaime! We were a party of 13 ranging in age from 10 years old to almost 80. Their attention to detail (sizing everyone's gear before we left) and genuine desire to make sure we had a ton of fun can not be overstated. Our first stop was a small island (formerly Epstein's Island for real) about 15 minutes from the dock where we saw coral and tropical fish. Erika lead the group and showed us all kinds of fish and Jaime trailed us to make sure we were all safe and together for the close to 60 minutes in the water while Captain Tommy hung out with my dad on the boat chatting it up. Our second stop was in a little cove where we saw an amazing spotted eagle ray and 4 or 5 super friendly turtles that didn't much care that we were there watching them eat :) The boat was stocked with snacks and plenty to drink. The fact the Erika and Jaime are both dive instructors came shining through when they helped teach my nephew proper snorkeling technique and even helped me get my mom, who hadn't snorkeled in a number of years, get reacclimated to the water and got her to the spot where the eagle ray was just in time before he swam off. It felt like we've known them all for years and with their knowledge of the island and sharing fun tidbits it really made for a great morning. I wish we had more time with them but we were there on a cruise so our time was limited. Getting there was easy too, we set up a Mercedes van with Jack's Taxi Service 772-293-1688. They were super helpful accommodating my parents who, being older, don't get around like they used to ;) Five stars for everyone! Hope to see them again when we get back to St Thomas!

Tommy, Crystal and Jamie were our crew this past week on our half-day snorkel tour. The small group option is the way to go! The snorkel locations were both beautiful, with ample underwater life. We had incredibly personalized service. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I took my 8 and 9 year old on the morning snorkeling trip and we had such a great experience together. I was secretly nervous because it was their first time, although they are both great swimmers. Jamie made us feel so comfortable and helped us all relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of nature. The kids had a blast and never even knew I was nervous! Jamie pointed out different fish to the kids and was full of jokes to make the learning curve easier for all the equipment. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for the priceless family memories!

Went on a 2 tank dive with Steff and Tommy on July 2023, everything went great. They were super helpful with the whole group, we all had a great time, saw nurse sharks, large lobsters, and many many fish. The team was great, well organized, felt safe and supported at all times. The gear was great as well. Will definitely go out with them when I visit St. Thomas again.

We had a group of 12 - 1 diver, 3 intro to diving and 8 snorkelers for a private half day trip beginning in the morning. Captain Teddy and Dive instructor Spencer and Snorkel guide Steph made sure our trip out was wonderful. Whether we were down below or snorkeling above we were able to see and experience beautiful reef life. We all felt safe and guided. Capped off our trip with a rum punch return to dock. So much fun!

My family and I had an amazing experience with Aqua Marine! Captain Tommy was so great! My son had his first dive with Spencer and it was amazing! Spencer was thorough and had such a great personality guiding our new diver! He now has the fever! The rest of us snorkeled with David and he was so kind and very informative of all that we were seeing! These guys were the absolute best!! From booking the trip online to departing, everything went smooth! I would highly recommend them!!! Thanks guys for making it the best part of our trip!

Diving with this company was great. From booking to the end of the dive was a great experience. We had Captain Steve & Dive Master Dave. They were so awesome. They were extremely informative about the dives site. Also gave us tips about the island as well as other islands & buying a boat advice. Dive master Dave was very patient w/ me. I am an advance diver but I have trouble equalizing on my 1st dive. He stayed right there w/ me. Captain Steve & Dive Master Dave treated us like their family. They provided snacks, beverage throughout our time with them & at the end some yummy rum punch. Morning dives are for certified divers we got lucky. Including us there were a total of 4 people. The equipment they have is also in great shape. We will be back.

Jared and Nen were amazing!! We have never snorkeled before, but we felt super comfortable and their hospitality was above par! We felt confident and wanted to keep going after our trip ended! 10/10 recommend!!! 🤿

Fantastic morning with dive master Nen and Captain Steve. Private morning dive for two of us. We are both new divers and really appreciated the personal service and reassurance of both Nen and Steve. They truly made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable for us. Beautiful coral and many fish. Loved it!

Captain Justin and Quentin were fantastic! Our two young ones only snorkeled for a few minutes before they decided they were done. Justin was kind enough to keep the little ones entertained so mom and dad could enjoy the water a bit longer. Thanks so much for helping create a great trip!

Another great tune scuba diving in beautiful St. Thomas! Captain Justin, Quentin and Audrey were fantastic and took us to some great sights. Cow and Calf was the best diving ever!! I can’t wait until our next trip! Thanks again!!!

Awesome experience!! This was my second time diving with Jarred as my dive master and Justin as our Captain at Dive Aqua Marine. Both are a very professional crew!! Jarrod is very thorough and always puts safety first with training as well as during the dive. He trained me so well on my first dive that my second go round weeks later was very smooth! We dove Calf and Cow rock off of St Thomas, it was the best I have seen yet!! A must go trip on the Dive Aqua Marine dive boat!! More than 5 stars!!

Felt pampered! Just the two of us and Justin our captain, and Jess our underwater toy guide/snorkel guide. They both were so easy and pleasant. Allowed us to go at our own pace. Jess was incredibly knowledgeable about every single fish and wildlife we saw(and it was A LOT!!) Well worth the money, very professional. Will be back, fo sho’ !

We had a group of 7 on the dive trip. Crew and entire team were great to deal with. Ver knowledgeable. The dive site was perfect.

Amazing experience with the crew members. Cora and Audrew were extremely helpful and guided us through the whole trip. Captain was giving great informational tour across the jeffrey epstein island. A must do experience. I would highly recommend getting private snorkelling if you are in large groups with Aqua marine at STT.

Anna and Wolfgang were amazing! Very accommodating and wanted us to have the best experience snorkeling. Both are extremely knowledgeable and provided us with information regarding the marine life and general knowledge about St Thomas. I’ve done many snorkeling cruise excursions and it is crowded and rushed. This was incredible and the only way to go!

This trip was easy throughout the process. Ana pointed unique sea life throughout the snorkeling part, and was absolutely attentive to each person's concerns. We were also given information about the island and local like. Highly recommend!

We had 3 families (15 total) snorkeling together on a private tour. Wolfgang and Anna were great. We heard lots of stories about the area and were guided to some awesome reef areas where we were able to see many beautiful fish, a barracuda, a stingray and a sea turtle. We got a great private experience for a fantastic price. We paid less than the cattle car full of people paid per person and had a much better experience. Aqua Marine Dive Center is the best way to snorkel or scuba in St Thomas! According to my teenage son "It was Lit!" Thanks for making this the highlight of our cruise vacation.
