Wow!!!!! Amazing. Yes. Can i rate it 12 stars??? This was maybe the best day of our lives! Capt Phillip, the best, great stories, found awesome snorkeling. Its almost like he personally knows sea turtles and rays and tells them to show up. His history and lore of the islands was great too. Seriously, youll want to invite him to Christmas dinner. Definitely worth the money, id do this trip over and over!!! Book it!!!

And all honesty it was a great experience. The only hiccup that seemed to come was the boat we were supposed to get had broke down so they had offered us a speedboat which we opted would be a good choice. The only downfalls you have to pay for the gas we were told it was gonna be 160 for gas and due to the fact that the boat we had originally booked was broke down they were going to credit us $60 for the gas by the time the trip ended and we had a great day we pulled into Harbor. We tipped the captain and then was told it was $200 for gas and we never got reimburse the $60. Maybe a little disappointed in the lack of communication. We did see some amazing things and we did have a lot of fun but when you’re told one thing and it doesn’t follow through, kinda makes you a little nervous and we still have another adventure with these guys to come up so hopefully maybe this will be made up in 48 hours.

We had an incredible day on the waters with Captain Phillip. Multiple extraordinary snorkeling stops with sightings of sea turtles, spotted searays, reef sharks, squids, and more tropical fish than you can imagine. The Gemini was perfect for our 6 adults and one infant. The rum punch was perfect and captain Phillip was a great host! Thanks for the perfect Father’s Day!

Brodie was awesome. Keep the boat steady and was flexible to our schedule. Clean boat. Great experience.

What a fun filled day with Captain Phillip on Mazu with Seas the Day charters. His level of service, attention, fun facts and marine biology knowledge was exceptional. We wanted to snorkel spots others may not … St Thomas … Christmas Cove with turtles and rare spotted eagle ray … Thatch cay for the caves and then Lovango Cay to finish the day with chill time to enjoying calmer waters and a final snorkel. And To maximize our snorkel time we enjoyed custom lunches from Tasty Sips and Bites provisioning in Red Hook. 🥪

Worth every penny. Brodie our captian was great. The 7 hr sail took us to 3 beautiful beaches where we saw sting rays turtles and nerf sharks along with colorful fish. Let. The rum flow and enjoy.

We took a full day excursion with SEAs the Day. Captain Phillip and mate Colette provided an excellent experience. Although they have proposed trip schedule, they willing adjust to the wishes of the customer. They were informative about the different islands and very attentive to our needs around libation/hydration, helping with snorkel equipment, and performing photographer duties. We had an all around great day!

We had a great day with Captain Judi and Megan. Megan taught my daughter so much about marine life and helped her feel comfortable snorkeling. It was her favorite part of our trip to STJ! We had an awesome day with Brodie taking us around to a few different beautiful spots here in the USVI. Brodie let us plan our day how we wanted and offered suggestions to some awesome spots! The boat was spacious, clean, had a bathroom, and offered plenty of drinks and snorkel gear. There was also a Bluetooth sound system to connect your own music.

There was a group of 7 of us from Detroit and we had the best time with Captain Dave! The catamaran (Gemini) was truly amazing on the beautiful Caribbean waters, the Rum Punch was delicious, the beers were plentiful and the Captain was very attentive and accommodating. Picked the best spots for us to see turtles and fish! Thank you for an amazing day out Captain Dave!!!

Dave was a great captain took us to wonderful snorkeling locations. very accommodating, easy and fun to get along with and spend the day with. Highly recommend this trip.

Capt. Dave was a very gracious and accommodating on our full day trip around St. Thomas and St. John. He took us to great snorkeling sites and mixed a fine rum punch as well! A day on the water sailing or motoring around these islands, especially St. John NP, is a must do when visiting. You will make beautiful memories. Capt. Dave takes care of it.

Such a great day! Annemarie & Lindsey were the best hosts! Super knowledgeable on the island and took us to get snorkeling spots where we saw turtles and stingrays! Definitely recommend! Do the full day!!!!

Our captain Christian was a bit odd. The seating on our boat Neptune was very uncomfortable. There were 6 of us and it was a bit crowded. It seemed like we stayed in the same area the entire day, without much exploration. Was very expensive for what it was. Was given 3 different times to show up by different people. Christian send me a message that was titled to someone else. He stated he forgot to change the name in him template.

We are four couples staying on St. John. The private full day sail was a great way to explore the island and Captain JP took great care of us! The Mazu worked great but it was a little rough around the edges. We highly recommend!

The experience it self was nice, only because the group I was with made the best of it. We paid for a 40ft boat and was put on a 36 got boat. the crew member name was Alex and he was very rude a passive aggressive. The boat was dirty and not only that 5 minutes into the ride an alarm started sounded and this man says “oh sh*t” then starts panicking. He told us to shut up as he was trying to figure out why that alarm was on. He called someone, a man showed up with second boat and offered to switch boats and Alex told them we were fine. Meanwhile the actual boat and dinghy we were using to get dropped off/ picked up at the beach was stuttering and cutting. The alarm was on because the boat was filing up with water. He didn’t offer us any beverages until we got to the first stop which was approximately 1hr. We debarked late, then stopped I the middle of the ocean due to the alarm. The whole excursion was rushed because he knew the boat was messed up we got back a half hour early than scheduled. I called to complain to the manager and she told me that we were too drunk to remember anything. The only drink offered was rum punch and 6/8 people on my group turn it down bc it was nasty. He offered us one cup of water and that was all. The man was just flat out nasty and came off prejudice bc when we got to the “turtles” he stopped the boat and told us we had to swim to the buoy that was 150ft away from the boat, refusing to allow passengers to use the floating noodle. We asked if he had nausea medication and Alex told us that it was a drug free/ smoke free environment but we saw him take two identify pills. Do not book this excursion.

This was the perfect day! Our captain JP was an excellent captain who was very warm, knowledgeable and safety conscious. Our original catamaran had motor problems prior to the cruise, so they upgraded us to a larger boat free of charge. We were taken to spectacular snorkeling sites that were easy for our beginner snorkeling kids to navigate, and they enjoyed seeking and finding nurse sharks, rays, and parrot fish. We took a stop at one of the most perfect beaches in St John with powdery sand and crystal clear waters, then stopped at a nearby beach club area for lunch. Jamie joined our crew at the last minute and was enormously loved by the family — diving in the water to help the kids find snorkeling spots, getting conch shells for my daughter, making sure everyone had enough drinks throughout the cruise. Having a former veteran nurse on board was also very reassuring — make her a permanent crew member! We could not have asked for more from the day and greatly appreciate the captain and crew for making it happen.

Captain JP provided a day we will not soon forget! We visited amazing snorkeling sites and had a delicious lunch. We could not have asked for a better day or a better captain sailing the catamaran in the beautiful waters St. Thomas and St. John!

The goal of taking a private charter was to have a whole day in the waters of St. Thomas and St. John's with just our family of 5. Our Captain was JP and he was fantastic! We snorkled in different spots, had lunch on the beach at St. John's, visited beaches on St. John's. The whole day was a great time and we would definitely do it again!

I only gave it 2 stars because of the captain he did good explaining the area. The website sure does paint a pretty picture of the old tired boat. It you want to spend half of the day just traveling in the boat getting to your spots then this is the boat for you. 10mph took us almost 1.5 hrs to get to the first beach. Almost 4hrs travel time. Waste of money but now I know better after seeing every other boat other there pass us. There was no other slower boat in the water.

I really wanted to love this experience, but I didn’t. The communication was 5 star, but the rest was not. There were 5 of us and none of us had snorkeled before but were excited to try it. We had originally booked the 50’ catamaran but got a call that one of the engines went out so we settled for a 35’. The boat looked a lot better online than it did in person. It was a rough ride out of the marina and then we got to our snorkeling spot. We were supposed to be able to see lots of fish but we drifted quite a ways and it was like the captain didn’t even realize it. We weren’t wanting to venture very far from the boat so that was an issue. The captains seemed more interested in talking to each other than paying attention to us. If we needed anything we had to wait for a break in their conversation to get their attention. We really weren’t seeing anything in the water and finally had to ask them to move us to a better spot. There were no offers to take pictures when we were all in the water. I had to ask one of them to hand me one of our phones. I didn’t feel like they were trying to make sure we had a good time. For the amount of money we spent I expected a lot more. The captains were very nice, but not sure customer service is the right industry for them. There were also times that I felt like they didn’t know what they were doing

We had a great day on the boat spent with family and two 3 year olds. JW was an excellent captain knowledgeable about the island and helpful with the itinerary although I would have liked it more customized and able to go exactly where I wanted. JW did a great job working out that situation.

Had a great day, great captain also Justin!! did a fantastic job of taking us around and being a wealth of knowledge!! Kind of rim is very clean comfortable.

Had a great day with our group of 13 with two catamarans. Our captains took us to beautiful Scott Beach for snorkeling and swimming and then to a hidden gem, the Lovango resort for lunch. Good music, friendly captains, plenty of drinks- a very fun day and great way to get a taste of St John.

This is our second trip with Seas The Day on this catamaran!! It was just as awesome even though we had different itineraries. This trip included two wonderful snorkeling sites and a lovely lunch on Lovongo Key. Thanks to our captain Wallens!! He was so hospitable, professional, fun and knowledgeable. He taught us a lot about the USVI! We will definitely spend another day with them on a future trip!

Nice way to spend a relaxing day. The snorkeling was very good and the water is perfect. Took us to a secluded area.

J.W. and Selena were our captain and first mate. They were tremendous. Boat was beautiful and they made us feel like royalty. We had a bit of an issue getting going in the morning with some issue with the original boat but they took full-responsibility and more than made up for it by upgrading us to an even better boat for the day. This was truly a memory that me and my family will never forget! This was a top-notch excursion and worth every penny.

Captain Dave was beyond amazing! He was very responsive as we were arriving by our cruise ship, but he took us places he thought we'd enjoy and was so much fun to talk to. We never felt rushed at any or our stops and truly wanted us to have an unbelievable experience...which we did. I've reserved private boats in other locations, but our friends never had and now will never do another one of those crowded excursions again! We went to an amazing little resort for lunch and then snorkeled there and then at a different location. The boat, however, could use a lot of updating. It was fine for what we needed/wanted, but it was old and a little rusty in places. Overall we had a wonderful day and would highly recommend Seas the Day for a day out.

We had a fantastic experience on our Seas the Day Charter today! Our family of four loved the entire day and I highly recommend this charter when visiting St. Thomas. We visited two different snorkeling sights and Water Island. It sprinkled a little and we had some overcast patches but that didn't hamper the fun. Our Captain and Co-Captain could not have been nicer, My two teenagers (13 and 16) had the BEST time!!

We took the all day, private tour aboard the Mazu. Having a private tour meant the captain asked us what we wanted to see and do and planned around that. We snorkeled in three spots, seeing different things in each spot and had a lovely lunch in Lovango. Captain JW and Chase were friendly and personable.

The crew was amazing. When you are wanting to relax, not worry about a thing and enjoy the day, the crew allows the chill vibe you are looking for. They catered to whatever we wanted to do, made us excellent rum punch, and gave us great advice about the fish tacos at Maho Beach. Truly one of the best charters we have ever done and will be doing it again.

This excursion was a lot of fun for our whole family. We Snorkles at Honeymoon, Christmas and Trunk beaches and lunched on Secret Cove. The boat was great, the team (Capt. Mattie and first mate Coleman) were awesome giving us island history and all sorts of cool Sea Turtle and local fish info. We swam with the Sea Turtles, Stingrays and an array of exotic fish throughout the day …. Awesome! A day our family will truly remember. Thanks to all involved for such a great day! Highly recommend this trip and team!

We rented a private catamaran for our party of 8 on the Mazu! Captain JW and Coleman made the trip!! From the knowledge of the Caribbean to lunch recommendations to customizing the trip to exactly what we wanted- chefs kiss! Do not play with Lucy the parking attendant- he only takes $30 cash parking fee and will not hesitate to boot your vehicle!! Office is ok but the captain and mate is the star of this show! Happy wedding to Coleman!

This was our second time in St. Thomas and our second time with Seas the Day charters. These guys are the absolute best and was our best day on the island. Holly, our Captain, and Coleman, our First Mate, were absolutely amazing. They catered the day to what we wanted to do, including finding a cliff for our kids to jump off of!! You could really tell they love what they do and are knowledgeable of the history of the island. And Coleman made sure we always had an amazing drink in our hands. Oh the Rum Punch was so good. Could not recommend these guys more. They are awesome!

We LOVE Seas the Day!! This was our second year doing a private excursion in St Thomas!! This year we had Captain Ben and First Mate May! Both made for an amazing day on the water!! We enjoyed a great pizza lunch from Pizza Pi and amazing snorkeling and just being together as a family! We will always use Seas The Day for all our future trips to St. Thomas!! Don’t forget the amazing drinks that are included in your price!! We live for the water and Rum Punch!! Great for all ages!!!

we loved our first experience so much we booked again with maddy and Joseph, they were very informative on the islands and the history, they took us to a spot with a sunken ship and to Jeffery Epsteins island which was very interesting to see in person, they also took us to Lavago, they have the best brisket grilled cheese and lobster flatbread & the most beautiful views, we loved our experience and we adored maddy and Joseph.

Wallens and Alex were incredible and provided an amazing day that we’ll never forget as a family! They took us to awesome snorkeling spots and delivered first class service! We loved every minute of the experience and adventure!

The whole day was memorable. Snorkeling at two locations, we were able to see turtles and many fish. The crew was very personable and had a lot of historical information. The weather and beverages were also excellent.

We had an amazing day with Captain Dave! Our kids range from 5 to 13 so it can be challenging finding an activity for all. Our day on the Mazu was magical for kids and parents! We went to several different spots, saw amazing fish and coral, and at Christmas Cove we saw and swam with turtles!! Dave was great — he really knows the history of the area and he was excellent with our kids. The views were amazing, the rum punch outstanding, and the memories life long. I highly recommend Seas the Day and Dave!!
