We had the most amazing experience with Matt and Brittany! From pick up to drop off - everything was perfect. They are the most down to earth couple! Our girls had an incredible time snorkeling and my husband and I enjoyed the views with drinks in our hands laid out on the large float! We will absolutely book with them again! Captain Brittany and Captain Matty are excellent! They were so welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and really did their best to make us feel right at home on their boat. They were great with the kids too! We loved every moment of our excursion!!

Our family’s day out on the water with Wicked Charters VI was a trip we will be talking about for years to come. Captains Matty and Britt were the absolute best hosts and their ship was beautiful and clean! We booked a stop by the floating taco bar, Lime Out, which in our opinion is a must (especially if you book for a Tuesday)! After lunch they took us across the bay to go snorkel with turtles and let me tell you, some of these turtles were as big as truck tires! Matty was an excellent snorkel guide and knew the name of pretty much every fish. He even taught us how to equalize our ears so we could dive deeper! Matty and Britt really made our day special and our day out felt more like hanging out with friends who had good music taste and a cool boat vs just some random folks we hired to take us on the water. We 1000% recommend using them for boat cruises and hope to see them again soon! P.S. Captain Britt makes the best rum punch on the seas!

Do not hesitate to book- just DO IT! My family and I had the most incredible experience with Captain Brittney and Matt. They’re genuine people. So nice and courteous to everyone and I felt it was so important to them that we had an amazing time. We had such ease communicating leading up and met nearby the cruise port which was super convenient. We sailed by some lovely beaches and got some amazing sights and history from captain Matt. This was followed by some delicious tacos at a restaurant that is in the middle of the ocean called Lime Out. After, we enjoyed snorkeling with captain Matt and delicious rum punch made by captain Brittney. They had all the gear on board, as well as a raft for those of us that just wanted to sit out on the water and enjoy the sun. Our group ages ranged from 27 to 70 and we all had a 20/10 experience. It was our first stop of our vacation visiting all the islands and it literally was only downhill from there because this experience completely exceeded our expectations more than we could have ever imagined. We will forever cherish these memories and look forward to our next sailing with our new Caribbean family!

Out of all the excursions we did in St. Thomas, this was hands down our favorite experience of the entire trip. My two girlfriends and I went together, and as girls in our 20s, it was honestly everything we could’ve hoped for and more. From the second we arrived, they made us feel so welcomed. We were greeted with drinks right away and got to completely customize our day and choose exactly what we wanted to do. Our first stop was Lime Out where we had the pork tacos — absolutely incredible! Brittney took so many beautiful photos of us throughout the day and even hopped on the smaller boat to get pictures of us at Lime Out. After that, we went over to Honeymoon Beach and it was breathtaking. We snorkeled together and saw sea turtles, coral, and tons of fish. We also relaxed on the lily pad while they pulled us in for drinks — they truly took care of us the entire day. I 100% recommend doing a private boat day instead of a crowded excursion boat. They made the experience feel so personal, even down to letting us pick the music the whole day. Brittney & Matty are people we’ll never forget, and we’re already planning another trip back to the USVI just so we can book with them again. EASY 5 STAR REVIEW!!!

If I could give Sail Away Sunset and Day Sails more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Our day with Brittney and Matt was hands down the highlight of our trip to. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made us feel like family. The boat itself was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Brittney and Matt themselves. They are the kind of people you instantly feel connected to — warm, welcoming, fun, and genuinely passionate about creating an amazing experience. Brittney’s homemade rum punch deserves its own special mention because it was AMAZING! We spent part of the afternoon floating together in crystal-clear turquoise water on one of the floats they provided, sipping rum punch while our kids continued snorkeling nearby. It honestly felt like something out of a dream. Matt took us to incredible snorkeling spots and personally guided us to the best areas to explore. At one point, one of our pairs of sunglasses sank to the sea floor, and Matt actually dove down and retrieved them for us! Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe it. They also took us to Lime Out, which was such a fun and unique experience and another major highlight of the day. To top it all off, they dropped us off right by the cruise port, making it an easy walk back to our ship. We genuinely loved this experience so much that we would return to St. Thomas just to sail with them again. In fact, we’re already talking about coming back to book one of their overnight sailing classes! If you are considering a private charter in St. Thomas, stop searching and book with Sail Away. Captain Brittany & Captain Matty were fantastic! Matty took us on a snorkeling adventure where we saw beautiful ocean life & sooo many sea turtles. The tacos @ Lime Out were fabulous. The tour was amazing & we learned so much about the islands. Britt’s rum punch was top notch!! Brittany and Captain were very accommodating, they took us to the lime out, then over to a secret spot where some snorkeled and the rest of us hung out on their sunchill. I love their origin story, it’s very inspiring.

The captains on this boat were fantastic and made our trip so special. We have three kids ranging from 7 to 12 and they were just amazing with kids. During snorkeling, they helped the kids navigate sea life, pull them along when they tire it out, and taught them all about ocean life. Had kid, friendly snacks and drinks and all of that made the experience so much more relaxing for us‘s parents. Before, and after this excursion, they communicated with us and answered all the questions we had. This is a fantastic day and we highly recommend it!

AMAZING! We went on a rocky day and they took us to lime out. Because of the waves they took us to a quiet cove, let us snorkel and got us a conch shell/showed us turtles and we went to the restaurant/bar where we got conch fritters. They went back to the boat, got our bags, and brought it to the beach. They dropped us right back off at the cruise ship. So much fun. Beautiful and clean boat ♥️

First of all, both Captains were wonderful and SO pleasant. The drinks they served onboard were fresh and perfectly prepared. The sail to Lime Out and the experience there couldn’t have been better. Nevertheless, the best was yet to come. It was my wife’s birthday, and they prepared a beautiful cake for her ( I want to emphasize that it was custom-made by the Captains- not purchased from a store ! ) that was DELICIOUS and large enough for everyone to share ! Finally, I left a brand new hat onboard, and they mailed it back to me in North Carolina and wouldn’t accept payment for this gracious service ! One experience, and now they will have repeat customers anytime we return to St. Thomas- absolute perfection !!

Six of us looked this excursion on our own we were on Celebrity Beyond. I can’t say enough about how nice Brittany and Matty was and so accommodating. It was one of the ladies birthdays and Brittany made her an amazing birthday cake and bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. I can’t say enough about this couple. I can not tell you how much fun we had on this trip. The Captain Matt and the lovely Brittany went over and above to make sure we had an excellent experience in St Thomas. We met at the cruise port, which happened to be the “other” port that our ship arrived. It was super easy to get a cab and get there. Once on the boat, Matt and Brittany welcomed us with some of the best rum punch and we took off to Lime Out. An easy swim with some noodles or a ride on the dinghy to our Lilly pad at Lime Out. When it was time to leave Brittany and Matty welcomed us back to the boat, had a float that accommodated our party of 6 and made us drinks to float out. They were able to get us back to our port with time to spare! It was the best day out on the water and it was made possible by these guys!!

Our sailing day in St. Thomas was hands-down the highlight of our vacation. We enjoyed a relaxing sail from Crown Bay Marina to Lime Out Floating Taco Bar. Such a fun and unique experience! The tacos were creative and delicious, and the drinks were just as good. Captain Matty and Brittany were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel less like guests and more like part of their crew. Brittany’s cocktails were fantastic, and the entire day felt personal, relaxed, and special. We can’t wait to come back and sail with them again!

My three sisters and I went on the snorkeling trip in January of 2026. Captain Matt and Captain Brittany did an awesome job. They explain everything to us from safety precautions to the history of the beautiful places in the island as we passed them by. When we got to the snorkeling area, they kept an eye on us to make sure that we didn't go too far. Then, when we were done with snorkeling they put out a sun chiller, a big round floaty thing that you slide onto from the water. Then Captain Brittany brought us out glasses of Jamaican rum punch, so good. After this we were taken to the island where there was a beautiful little restaurant where we had scrumptious tacos. All in all it was a great day.

Captain Matt and his wife Britt made my trip to St. Thomas unforgettable. They showed us incredible sights and made me and my group feel so special. I could not recommend them enough if I had more time on the island I would’ve used them every day of my trip!!!! 100 out of 10.

Had the BEST time sailing with Captain Matty and Brittney!!!!! They made our day on the water exceptional. From communication, to cocktails, to finding a calm bay to float in after lunch at Lime Out was most excellent! They are both knowledgeable of the area and made sure we had the best time. Captain and First Mate Brittney were amazing hosts aboard the sailboat Wicked! We sailed on the bright blue St Thomas waters enjoying Brittney’s’ great Rum punch. We moored then they shuttled us in their dingy to Lime Out where we enjoyed tacos and drinks. While at Lime Out they even drove over and took great pictures and videos of us Back on the boat, they sailed around to a beautiful calm cove where we floated in their water hammock and enjoyed more drinks. It was absolutely amazing hospitality and an excellent sailing experience. I highly recommend this excursion.
