The experience was excellent family trip my 85 year old father in law Mr. Bill and his family the driver Ken was so knowledge of the island he was phenomenal even took to a loca food truck for ox tails! Yummy

We used VIPS Virgin Islands Platinum Services during our January 2026 cruise on the Celebrity Beyond, and they were outstanding. We needed a vehicle for six, and hiring a private driver actually cost less than the ship’s excursion. Communication with the owner was fast and clear, with exact meeting instructions and photos of the car, license plate, and driver. Myron picked us up in a spotless Cadillac Escalade and was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Within an hour he felt more like a friend than a chauffeur. He took us to the best viewpoints, stopped whenever we needed, snapped photos for us, shared local history, and even brought us to a beautiful beach where we could get out and walk in the water. He also took us to the top of the island for Bushwackers — a must‑try frozen, chocolatey local drink containing seven different liquors. Through all the twisty St. Thomas roads, we always felt completely safe with him behind the wheel. The three hours flew by, and he dropped us right at the ship. We learned so much about St. Thomas and truly felt like VIPs on that unforgettable day. We’d give Myron 10 stars. Highly recommend VIPS Virgin Islands Platinum Services.

Amazing, Professional and Everything we could have asked for!!!. From the moment I booked the trip, Adrienne was attentive and communicative. She walked me through the pick up process, asked about our interests and customized our tour special just for us. Our driver Ken was knowledgeable, patient, and engaging. Our group ranged in age from late 50s to 80 years young, with a few mobility challenges. Ken was understanding and very accommodating. We learned so much about the island, its agriculture, history and local foods. Ken’s tour checked every box !!!!

We went on this tour not knowing what we wanted to see as it is as customizable as you'd like. Jermaine was our guide and really helped us know what we wanted to see and do for our afternoon. He is local and has a great knowledge of history and important facts that he shared with us throughout the tour. We toured the city while learning about the history, stopped at a shopping area that was way less expensive than most other places, and then went to the mountain top for a banana daquiri before returning to the city for a little more shopping then back to the cruise port. Ask for Jermaine. We loved him!

What an amazing experience, on time, friendly, extremely knowledgeable of the area and its history. The amazing time we all had was worth twice what we paid. I feel that if I return we all would love to just hangout and talk. Thank you Adrainne for an amazing tour, my family and I can't thank you enough.

AMAZING! After looking through options we decided on the private tour with Luxury Sightseeing. So glad we did. Adrienne was perfect. Right after booking, she reached out. Excellent communications from that point on. As soon as we met Adrienne, it felt like we were old friends. She's so personable and real. She catered to our interests, and what a thorough knowledge of the island.

This service is phenomenal! We were on a Norwegian cruise, and my son had researched the Norwegian excursions to St Thomas but began delving into private tours. Virgin Islands Platinum Services LLC, 914-261-1830, led by Adrienne King, was a name that kept popping up. He decided to book this service and we were excited the minute the driver, Ken, picked us up. As requested, he brought a van large enough to accommodate two children in booster seats. The spotless vehicle was roomy, excellent air conditioning, and Ken was nice enough to offer us a cooler of an assortment of cool drinks covered with ice. My husband and I had gotten married at The Frenchman's Reef in 1976 and had never been back to the enchanted island of St. Thomas. Since this was part of our itinerary, we decided that we would like to go and see the resort so many years later. Ken took us to the hotel and told us about some of the renovations that the hotel had undergone and encouraged us to go in and take our time looking around. Ken told us a lot of the history of St. Thomas. We learned about the Arawaks and the Caribs, neither of which any of us had heard of before. We also did not know that St. Thomas was originally owned by Denmark! Ken told us of the notorious Blackbeard's Castle and about details of Fort Christian as we passed by it. My husband lived sixteen years of his life growing up in the nearby island of Puerto Rico, and while there, he consumed a fruit called a canipa there. Ken stopped his car, asked us to wait just a few seconds, got out of the car and came back with some branches. We did not know until he showed us that they grew in St. Thomas and he called them guineps. What a great and unexpected treat! We wanted to snorkel and swim, and had heard of Magen's Bay and a few others, however, our time there was limited and we did not want to swim with the hoards of crowds. Ken took us to Secret Harbour Beach Resort. We were met by employees bringing us lounge chairs (for a minimum charge) and a basket of sand toys for the children. The snorkeling was incredible, we were not inundated by other people and we saw a STINGRAY swimming just a few feet away. At the end of this trip, on our return, my granddaughter wanted to have her hair braided. Ken pulled over at a small shopping area, and we watched as a woman braided her hair. We were running low on time due to this hair thing, and it was so cute watching my son and Ken putting beads on the braids! The car itself is reason enough to give this service the best rating possible. Ken was the cherry on top. This was our favorite part of our cruise! Thank you.

Our guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, and eager to please. He took us to some great photo ops and even shared his in-depth knowledge of the flora and fauna.

My sister and I visited St. Thomas via a cruise late Jan 2025. We didn’t want to book a tour/excursion through the cruise line where you have limited itineraries and are crammed into a vehicle with a ton of other people. I looked for a private excursion and stumbled across Adrienne. Money well spent! Not only was she very responsive before the cruise, but very knowledgeable about the island, extremely accommodating (took us to see and do the things most important to us) and the perfect host. Her vehicle made us feel like royalty and she treated us like we were too. She understands what customer service means and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. It was definitely worth spending a little more money than we would have paid through the cruise to get this type of experience. This was one of the best tours I have ever experienced and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the island.

We were paired with Ken for the day. Ken has been in St. Thomas for decades and knows the history, horticulture and even the politics of you want to go there…. The day was rainy, it Ken made it worthy. Thank you Ken for the drinks and the limes!

Omg! These guys were absolutely amazing! Our tour guide Ken was THE BEST!! Very professional very knowledgeable of the island, he took us to all the best places with all the best views for pictures, shopping and we felt like their 1st priority. Very prompt with arriving to pick us and drop us off. I can’t say enough about this crew! Simply the best! We will definitely be back! Amazing experience!!❤️

Ken was an amazing tour guide, and he was perfectly matched to our family! The tour was particularly special to me due to my interests in health foods. His vast knowledge of the plants of the island and their uses as healing agents, nutritious treats, or simply unique was impressive! I really appreciated how he took his time to carefully show, explain, and answer all our questions about each plant. Ken is also a friendly guy, and we could quickly see the mutual respect that surrounded him as he engaged with his community in our tour, from organic vendors to Frenchtown, Bovina to Government Hill. All were very welcoming to us. Ken has quite the background as his experiences helped us to understand current house construction requirements and costs, as well as the usual St Thomas demographic statistics. Ken navigated easily around the entire island as we requested to see specific sites from high to low and east to west, as he started early and stayed late, always listening to fulfill our interests. Ken was very personable, and my entire family, including my teenager, had a fabulous time!

This was a fabulous tour in St Thomas. Our guide was waiting for us at the agreed upon time and convenient location. The vehicle was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The tour was completely customized to our desires; we saw the entire island and stopped wherever we wanted for pictures, beverages, and any other purchases we requested. Our guide was highly educated in the history of the island and was just a super nice person to spend our time with. Why cram into a non air conditioned crowded open air bus when you can experience the day in absolute comfort. I HIGHLY recommend this private tour! Well worth the money!

Arranged last minute, through Trip Advisor/ Viator , the day before, this private tour was able to handle the two elderly family members we were travelling with, unlike RCL which capped the max at 80 years. Coming off the Wonder of the Seas (which in itself was very smooth and efficient - literally 5 mins) all the details of the meet up were give the day before. We were introduced to Ken, our host and his vehicle - a nice large clean Chevy Suburban which was comfortable for our party of 6. Constant communication was provided and was asked for any preferences, customizations and drink requests. We had never been to the island so we asked Ken to create an itinerary to introduce the highlights of the island. The trip has us depart from the SubBase part of the island where our ship was docked (Crown Bay) towards Frenchtown and a brief stop at the cute museum in the middle. Then off towards Secret Harbour beach which was truly beautiful and less busy. Passed by Lindquist beach, Smith Bay, to the mountain lookouts overlooking Magen’s Bay ( Drake’s seat) , down towards Brewer’s Bay. Ken was very knowledgeable about the island and the history and culture, explaining at the different sights of as we passed through different neighborhoods. He shared some of his own personal experiences and dreams as well and was engage the whole trip. We didn’t want the beach time or the shopping stops but I’m sure that would have been available if that is what you are looking for as the tour was truly customizable; you just have to ask and let them know what you would like to do. We enjoyed the tour that we wanted and had a wonderful time (minus the motion sickness stop - yes winding roads up, down and around the island on narrow roads) and the views were spectacular.

Ken was so genuine and willing to please showing us all around the Island and sharing so many interesting stories. The 3 hours flew by and we felt like we got the true lay of the land on our first day of our Spring Break getaway. Would suggest having an idea of what you'd specifically like to see since he knows where absolutely everything is and how much time the different stops will take. There's way more to see than 3 hours allow. Bluebeard's Castle was a fun unexpected stop and we of course were happy to check out the incredible views at Mountain Top and Drake's Seat.

Our guide, Ken, was very knowledgeable and took us to some areas usually not visited by everyone else. Our family group was very very satisfied

Adrienne is simply top notch! Not only is she a pleasure, she is very knowledgable about the island. We greatly enjoyed learned some history, seeing some sights, and getting in some shopping. She also gave us marvelous recommendations for lunch and dinner and even joined us after the tour for a quick bite! Quite frankly, I wish I knew Adrienne on Day 1, as she could have been our travel agent! Thank you, Adrienne for a wonderful, family trip (even with the rain!). I highly recommend!

We customized our tour “on the go” and made stops when something caught our interest. Ken was personable and very informative. We did a St. Thomas tour several years ago and it was ok, but this is definitely the way to go. A++

Adrienne is sweet, friendly, and full of island knowledge. There is an outline trip but she changes it to customize to each tours individualized ideal excursion. The vehicle is extremely comfortable and plenty of windows to look around while riding.

My husband and I took this tour on our 2nd day in St Thomas so we could experience the island and get the lay of the land. Adrienne was a fantastic tour guide and was an amazing driver! She took us to some places that only locals would know to go to as well as touristy spots that you have to see. She also gave us great advice for the rest of our stay in St Thomas which we will definitely take. The tour was well worth the money.

Adrienne was extremely helpful with booking this last minute tour. She communicated the plans, provided the tentative itinerary and the booking process was easy. We had the opportunity to go on a 4 hour tour with Ken during our stay in St. Thomas. Ken took us to view as many landmarks and locations as possible within 4 hours. For those of you who are interested in see as much of the island as possible I would recommend a full day tour [more than 4 hours]. This will allow you time to eat, shop and view the island without feeling rushed. There is a lot to cover and see. Ken was extremely pleasant, courteous and professional. We would highly recommend Ken as your driver. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Adrienne made traveling easy! She arranged our transport from the airport to St. John. Everything went smoothly and we arrived in cool comfort to our destination. On our return home, she showed us highlights of St. Thomas and made sure we had a good lunch before going to the airport. It was a great start and end to our vacation!
