Wow what a great day! Tyler, Grant and McKenna were a very attentive captain and crew. They made everything so easy. The boat was comfortable for the ride!

The crew was amazing. They were very knowledgeable and they were serious about our safety. They were also very friendly and easy to talk to and hang out with for the day. We also really enjoyed getting to know the people we went with. They were all a lot of fun and helped make it a really great time.

We had a wonderful time with Captain Dave & Stephanie were both very informative & fun!!! Many places we stopped were shut down due to slow season, but that did not hamper us we still had a blast!! White Bay is the best!!!!

Such an amazing experience! Maeve and Cornelius took such good care of us! They recommended and took us to the places we wanted to go. Island hopping, beaches, eating at Willie T, snorkeling, turtle watching . . . All the things! Maeve has great knowledge of the islands and was a plethora of neat tidbits of info! The group ahead of us at the Baths were hanging back trying to hear what she was telling us because their guide was nothing compared to her. We definitely recommend! 10 out of 10!

We have done boat days with Stormy Pirates multiple times before, and each time we manage to have more fun! The service is exceptional, and the captain and first mate maintained professionalism whilst ensuring it was a good time. Our captain Brandon was clearly well experienced, and we felt very safe on the boat at all times. Our first mate Kevin was a blast and made sure the party never stopped! He also was attentive at all times, whether it be refilling drinks, cracking jokes, or extending a helping hand. Both of them expressed significant knowledge about the islands and answered any questions we had. Everything was well organized, professional, and just an overall great time! There’s a reason we keep coming back to Stormy Pirates, and we’ll definitely be back again!

We were a group of 16 and booked a private day charter, split between two 37’ Axopars. We can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of or how skilled and professional our captains were throughout the day. Carlie and Tara were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great local insights. We quickly became fast friends. This was actually our second trip with Carlie, and my daughter was especially excited to see her again. One recommendation for future guests: be sure to clearly specify which island you’d like to depart from, as there was a little confusion at the start of our trip. That said, the team handled it well, and we certainly didn’t let it affect what turned out to be an amazing day on the water.

This was the part of our trip we were looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint. Captain Cornelius and Steph are hands down the best at their job. Very informative and knowledgeable of the islands. They are very professional and excellent at making sure everyone was well taken care of and in need of nothing. We all thoroughly enjoyed each stop we made and the history of each place. Thank you again for making wonderful memories for us and simply being the best.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kevin and Captain Cornelius were absolutely fantastic! We were a group of 10 ladies celebrating a birthday, and they made the entire day so much fun. They were friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we stepped aboard. Their energy, sense of humor, and great service made our trip to Jost Van Dyke one of the highlights of our vacation. We laughed all day, felt completely taken care of, and had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a fun crew and an amazing day on the water! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the best day sailing to JVD! Our captain, David, and first mate, Grant, were incredibly kind, professional, informative, and attentive. They spent the entire day making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The island was beautiful, and sailing over — rather than only using the motor — gave us the peacefulness and relaxation we were truly looking forward to.

Absolutely phenomenal boat day with Stormy Pirates! We took the full-day tour to The Baths in Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. The crew made the whole trip incredibly fun, kept us hydrated, and made sure we hit all the best spots, including the Soggy Dollar Bar. Highly recommend!"

Tyler did a 10/10 jobs finding us the niche spots while also getting us to the tourist spots. Could not recommend him and Stormy Pirate enough. Also great rum punch!

This experience was the highlight of our trip to St John. Cornelius and Maeve made sure we were comfortable and safe and having the time of our lives. The pace was perfect and we had enough time at each stop to truly enjoy ourselves. Maeve was so much fun! She also took some amazing pictures of us. Cornelius was not only extremely knowledgeable, but really engaging as well. They are definitely the dynamic duo! I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Don’t hesitate to book! You will not regret it.

I've done many boat trips in the USVI. Kenny and Susanna were fantastic captains. Super friendly, informative about land and sea and tentative to every need. Kept a clean boat and went above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

We had the best day with Cornelius and Steph. They really tried to make our trip fun and also made sure we all got to do what we wanted. Would highly recommend this trip and this crew when you are in St Thomas/St John!

We went on the BVI bar crawl, or Joce Van Dyke fun day. And we had the best time with Captain Cornelius and Stephanie, they were very professional, I felt super safe we had a great smooth ride, she was a great bartender and they shared a lot of great information about the area. My only complaint is that some of the marketing materials led me to believe that the boat would be a little bit different, and the boat we took was perfectly fine it was just not what I was expecting, and I hate the whole feeling of a bait and switch thing but that’s a marketing problem. Zero complains about the tour itself, all the stops were super fun, all of our needs were taken care of everything was super easy breezy and fun. And a very convenient pick up location in red Hook if you’re staying on the east end.

This was easily one of the highlights of our trip! The Jost Van Dyke Funday was such a fun experience from start to finish. Captain Cornelius and first mate Grant were absolutely incredible!! They were extremely knowledgeable, made us feel completely comfortable the entire time, and kept the energy fun and relaxed. They were also very attentive, always making sure we had water and drinks and everything we needed throughout the day. Jost Van Dyke itself is beautiful, and having such a great crew made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests and go out of their way to make it a great time. Highly recommend this excursion—definitely worth it and a must-do if you’re visiting!

We five had a great boat, the larger catamaran, for a day sail to Jost Van Dyke from Cruz Bay, lucky to find the charter with a week's notice in a packed market. Ken and Stephanie are a highly trained and careful crew. They were punctual at pickup, generous with pastry snacks and drinks. They provided Informative history and local lore. Best, they were sensitive to our needs as well as the winds, accomodating us by allowing a visit to a calmer bay.

The crew and captain were amazing and made sure everyone on the boat had a great day. 20 out of 10. So glad we booked the trip

Really enjoyed this sailing cruise with Brandon and Maggie! Loved the personal attention with only 12 passengers. Enjoyed sailing (not just motoring) and there was confortable seating, both covered and out in the sun. This cruise is definitely for good swimmers - I am not one, but I was assisted from our anchored place to the beach and made to feel safe and comfortable. Thanks to one of the cruisers, Heatha, for her help as well! Would have liked to skip the first stop and spend all the time at White Bay.

Carly and Maggie were fantastic! Last year we visited Virgin Gorda on the ferry and not having to hang out in the customs line while they took care of everything this year made such a difference. Highly recommend Stormy Pirate if you want to do a day trip to the BVI.
