G took the four of us—all adults—on an excellent island tour of St. Thomas while we were visiting on the Rhapsody of the Seas in October 2026. Professor Melissa recommended him on Instagram, and we’re so glad she did! We contacted G through his website, and communication was excellent. Finding him at the port was easy, too. He was funny, friendly, and clearly well known and loved around town. We started calling him “the Mayor” because everywhere we went, people stopped to talk with him! The tour included all the major sights around St. Thomas, as well as parts of the city we probably wouldn’t have seen on a standard tour, and a stop at the beach. G shared so much about the island, its history, and what it was like growing up there. He had water for us in the vehicle and snorkeling equipment available, although we didn’t end up using it. Since we wanted food, drinks, and shade, he recommended Magens Bay—and it was just right for us. One of the biggest surprises was when G brought us ripe mangoes from his own yard and showed us a trick for eating them. They were delicious, and such a thoughtful treat—especially since we happened to be there during mango season! We loved our tour and have zero complaints. G was a wonderful guide, and his beautiful Ford Bronco made the ride even better. We’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a private tour of St. Thomas.

Our tour guide was Jonica. She was absolutely wonderful! We got to know the history of St. Thomas from a native point of view. We also went snorkeling and got to enjoy the sea turtles. Jonica was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. We would highly recommend Jammin Jeep as a business who works well to meet their clients wants.

1/2 day Cultural Jeep Beach Adventure was great! China, our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great info on the island and many of the plants/ fauna on the island! Stopped many times for look outs, photo opportunities, some shopping, Mountain Top, and a beach! He had snorkel equipment if we wanted but we just enjoyed the beach and lunch at a food truck, we had some Pate’s that were great. We would do this tour again! China was so good at being a tour guide, thank you so much!!

EXCEPTIONAL experience!!! G is as genuine person as you will ever meet. From the time he picked us up to the time he dropped us back off he made us feel like family. He has a WEALTH of knowledge about his homeland and by the time the tour was over, his homeland felt like home to us. A tour with Jammin Jeep Tours is something you HAVE TO experience! We had such a great time with Jammin Jeep Tours! China, our guide, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. He taught us so much about the island, made us feel safe throughout the entire tour, and even showed us some of the local medicinal plants. We loved that the company provided a booster seat for our toddler and that we were able to pack in everything we wanted to see and do during our trip. Jonica was an amazing and memorable person and driver. She took us around, showed us everything that tourist would want to see……but she showed us HER island that she grew up on, we went to the Mountain Top and had a Banana Daquiri and then down to Brewers Bay….i would say this was the best tour we have ever taken. Our Jeep tour around parts of the island was awesome! I booked 2 jeeps for my family and my brother’s family. Jaro and China were excellent tour guides! They were such cool, friendly guys, very knowledgeable. Great drivers, patient and flexible. We took longer than expected at the Mountain Top due to the amazing photo ops and shopping, and they didn’t mind at all. For our beach stop, we went to Brewer’s Bay which is a small, beautiful and calm beach. We took our own snorkel gear and saw tiny fish and a stingray. They have a food truck there that sells pates, which were delicious: chicken and shrimp were so good. My family enjoyed the salt fish and beef ones too. Totally recommend them! We also enjoyed the views / photo ops and shopping for jewelry at Drake’s Seat. Our tour went longer than scheduled, we really appreciated these guys taking the extra time to show us around! We had 2 small children with us, 4 and 6, and Jaro and China were very kid-friendly!

Our tour guide was Jonica and she was incredible! I had a last minute request to switch the time of our tour and Jonica was kind enough to accommodate us. She was well informed about the island’s history and gave great recommendations of areas worth visiting. We drove to several lookout spots with stunning views from different vantage points. We made a stop at Mountain Top for the views, famous banana daiquiri and of course souvenir shopping. We passed by Fort Christian, Hotel 1829 and took a detour into Blackbeards Castle. Cool spot with a pool, cabanas, outdoor games, view and a bar with fantastic music. It cost $15 for adult entrance and kids are free, you get a complimentary drink ticket. Lastly, Magens Beach was peaceful and tranquil. The waters were clear and warm. Plenty of fish, seagulls and pelicans to keep you company. I recommend this tour especially if you don’t feel comfortable driving the windy and steep roads on St. Thomas. We got to see a ton in four hours.

Our family of 4 had an amazing time with China. He was such a kind down to earth kind of guy who made us fell very welcomed and took very great care of us. China is a wealth of knowledge about the island and its native plants and it was fascinating learning about it all. We got to visit beautiful look out points to capture those scenic pics and we enjoyed a beautiful beach before heading back to our cruise. Everything was seamless with this tour from clear instructions on pickup point to keeping us on a timeline to ensure we got back to cruiseport on time. We would 100% recommend Jammin Jeep tours if you are looking to book privately for your visit to St. Thomas. What a beautiful island and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you! Comfortable vehicles and a great way to get an overview of the island.

Jonica was absolutely awesome. Very adaptable to our needs and very knowledgeable of the island. So glad we took the tour. It was fabulous. Make sure you see Darren Lawrence (D Midas Touch) on the lookout for some authentic steel drums.

He knows everyone and everything!! He brought us to see soo many amazing places. Street vendors selling merchandise, we got to eat local pate and drink local beer. We went to Maegans Bay, and saw amazing views all over the Island! If you want the best tour, go with Jammin Jeeps!! G was the best and we had an amazing time. Thank you G and Lisa!

This excursion was well worth it. China was absolutely the best guide. Not only did he go over all the typical "tourist" information but he dug deep into the flora found right on the road side. He took us to some of the local places to find bush tea but those places were closed due to Good Friday, so he went off and gathered the ingredients himself and told us how to brew it. It was delicious. This was probably the best excursion we did on our trip, which is saying a lot because all the excursions were great. If you can do this, I highly recommend it and if you get China as your guide you will not be disappointed.

Rocky was super friendly and very knowledgeable able to share lots of information and cater it to our families needs. He offered suggestions that we took him up on and any questions or issues we had were dealt with promptly not that we really had any. Highly recommend him over and over again yeah Rocky rocked the Rocky Roads.

We had a great time with Rocky on our family day off our cruise ship. We learned about the culture, enjoyed banana daiquiris, took scenic routes, and ended our time at the beach. Booking was easy, and the communication leading up to our trip was super informative. We found this tour through Professor Melissa, who makes cruise videos. She did not steer us wrong and we were grateful for our time.

We had an exceptional time on the St Thomas Jammin Jeep Tour. We are a family of 4 adults. Our guide China was extremely knowledgeable about the island, points of interest, culture and the local agriculture. The highlight of the trip was stopping for world famous Banana Daiquiris. We opted to spend time shopping instead of going to a beach. China dropped us right in the center of main street and picked us up at the exact same spot at the designated time. The meeting point outside the cruise terminal was easy to locate and China was right on time for the start of our tour. Our vehicle was air conditioned and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Jammin Jeep Tour to anyone interested in seeing the Island.

We’ve been to St. Thomas on multiple cruise stops going back to 1997, and this tour with Jonica was easily the best experience we’ve had there. She makes you feel like you’re exploring the island with a good friend who truly loves where she lives. If you want to hit the must-see highlights, she has it completely dialed in and seems to know everyone. If you’re more adventurous, she’ll take you off the beaten path, navigating the back roads with confidence and even introducing you to her pet tortoises. What really sets this apart is that it’s more than just a tour. I can’t recommend this company more! We traveled as a family of 4 the beginning of March and Jaro was the best tour guide. He engaged with us every step of the trip. Sharing history of the island, taking us to beautiful locations, and sharing his experiences with us. He got us to busy locations early and as we were leaving it was getting busy. We did the 6 hour tour and were able to visit a great beach on Water Island with a fun lunch spot and a boat ride that went right past our cruise ship. We saw beautiful overlooks, learned some history and when he found out our kids were college students took us on a brief tour of the university. We loved that the tour was just us. We were able to ask lots of questions and get the personal touch. We were never rushed, but Jaro was mindful of time to get us back to our ship on time. I cannot recommend Jammin Jeeps or Jaro more if you are visiting St. Thomas. You won’t be disappointed!

This was an amazing tour! Jonica is a true local ( born and raised) here in St. Thomas. She knew tons of facts about the history, culture, food, best spots to see, etc. everywhere we went she was saying hi to people she knew. We like to book a private tour at the beginning of our trips. This gives us a good appreciation of the area/island and we learn lots of history. On this tour we had some great stops. We enjoyed the Mountain Top stop. Both the view and the banana daiquiri were awesome. This stop has a huge gift shop. Jonica was a fun guide and we enjoyed her company. Book this!

Lisa was great throughout the beginning and long and planning always answering promptly and fully. Jonica was our fabulous guide. She was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, funny… everything you want in a local tour guide. She is a great driver as well! If we are ever back in St Thomas, we would happily use Jammin Jeeps again. We had a great time and no worries about making it back to the ship in time.

We had an AMAZING time on our tour. We had the pleasure of having Rocky be our tour guide and he did a fantastic job. He brought us to not only all the tourist spots but also some of the locals spots. When we asked to stop for coffee he brought us to Beans, Bites, and Bubbles where the coffees did not disappoint and also recommend a local food truck at Brewers Bay Beach which was fantastic for a quick bite and we got to see a sea turtle!! We covered so much land in 4 hours it was perfect! I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing Jeep Tour – Jonica Was the Star! We had an AMAZING Jeep tour in St. Thomas! The island is absolutely beautiful, but our guide Jonica truly made the experience unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and so accommodating from start to finish. We were traveling with a large group (we required 2 jeeps), and Jonica went above and beyond to customize the tour to fit our needs, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. The Jeep itself was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Jonica’s personality, local insight, and genuine passion for the island shined throughout the tour. Rocky was an excellent tour guide and driver. Took us to a wonderful beach that met our criteria. Flexible schedule to war we wanted to see. We had Internet issues and trouble locating meeting spot. He extended the tour so we had the full time.

Where do I even start? This 4-hour private Jeep tour was hands-down the highlight of our entire cruise! From the moment Lisa handled all the logistics seamlessly and we were greeted at the cruise port by the legendary “G” next to the iconic windmill, we knew we were in for something special. G is pure island magic – high-energy, infectious smile, and that authentic “island vibe” that makes you feel like you’re cruising with a friend you’ve known for years. He seems to know EVERYONE on St. Thomas (honks, waves, and shout-outs everywhere we went!), which made the experience feel so real and connected. He packed the tour with fascinating history, culture, hidden-gem stories, and fun facts we’d never have learned on a big bus tour. We laughed non-stop and by the end of the day honestly felt like we’d made a lifelong friend. Our guide ‘G’ was so personable, knowledgeable and had the island vibe energy. We had so much fun and learned so much about the island’s history and current culture.
