This one-of-a-kind excursion will last approximately 3 ½ hours. It begins when you board the 60' custom yacht for a scenic cruise out to the crystal clear site. The adventure continues when you board your personal unit. Your professional divers will escort you on a tour in small groups pointing out the wonders of the Caribbean Sea. You will also enjoy snorkeling and swimming as well as a spacious sun decks for lounging and covered areas for shade. This activity has something for everyone! We also offer cookies, water, juice and a fresh water shower to rinse off the salt.

It was really cool but be warned that you could feel nauseous during and after this excursion. I wish the scooter went faster than 1 mph. It wasn't difficult to get into the scuba helmet and onto the scooter. My ears popped constantly. Saw some pretty, colorful tropical fish, a sea turtle, and a small shark. Bring an underwater camera stick that you can operate with one hand as you'll need to keep one hand on the scooter at all times. The operators don't bring any cameras to take group photos but they will take a photo of you with your camera.

My wife is a non swimmer and they made sure that she got into the device easily. And safely, she enjoyed her time underwater. Seeing the fish and animals up close, it was really, really wonderful. Event was cool, one and done excursion. They take you on the scooters in sections, my day split into 3 groups. I was in the last (3rd) group and my time on the scooters felt very rushed. If you want a lot of time underwater join the first group lol. Other than that everyone was very kind, gave clear instructions, and most import made us comfortable and got us home safe.
Great experience from beginning to end. Remember to bring a device other than a cell phone in a pouch to capture the experience!
My family and I took a trip and we wanted to do a fun excursion. Captain Andrew and his whole crew were absolutely amazing! We went snorkeling and did the underwater scooters. We all had a blast! Captain and crew were incredibly nice and informative and kept us laughing and safe with our adventure. I highly recommend this fun excursion if you’re in St. Thomas.

I had an amazing experience with Boss Underwater Sea Adventure! It was a beautiful day from start to finish, and the staff made it even better. They were incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient—especially when I started panicking a little, lol. Their calm and reassuring attitude really helped me enjoy the experience. The boat was nice, clean, and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The snacks were a cute and thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. The views and underwater sights were absolutely beautiful, and being surrounded by such friendly people made the day even more special. Even though I ended up getting seasick, I can honestly say it was still worth it. Overall, it was a memorable adventure, and I highly recommend Boss Underwater Sea Adventure to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience on the water!

This is safe once in a lifetime experience riding underwater scooter while safely breathing in a helmet type environment views most species in Atlantic Ocean safe for even non-swimmers. Also snorkeling also offered and you can bring your own snorkeling equipment. Great experience loved it.
This was an amazing experience. I would do it again in a heart beat. It's a little unsettling at first to have your head in a bubble but as soon as you start moving you forget all about it.
Booked as our excursion while on our cruise. Quick EASY walk from the port to board the ship. ALL staff were kind and engaged with tourists from the moment we boarded the ship. The ship was CLEAN and well maintained!! Reyna was GREAT explaining exactly what and how to use the BOSS. The divers once in the water were TOP NOTCH making sure each one of us were READY and comfortable!!! Stayed with us every step of the way and took pictures for us (none to post just yet- forgot to use my phone I was loving the experience- and took an underwater camera) Pack plenty of sunscreen!! They had some snacks, water and kool-aid for the guests. I’d suggest having your OWN snorkel mask 🤿 to use while waiting on your groups turn to boss you DO get to snorkel on your own. BOOK THE TOUR it’s so COOL!!! My only wish - it could’ve lasted LONGER
Hands down THE BEST experience & must do water activity while in St Thomas. Not only did we get plenty of time to snorkel at our own leisure, but THE cherry on top was the underwater scooter… BEST EXPERIENCE EVER - I felt like we were in an episode of Mario karts hahaha

What an absolute blast! We enjoyed every minute of this excursion! Water was choppy and we had a brief rain (it’s the Caribbean, it’s expected), but there was plenty of cover to get out the ten minute rain that passed through. Upon arrival, the instructions and briefing was easy and interactive, with a few dad jokes thrown in, that were greatly appreciated to lighten the mood! The scooter are extremely easy to operate. U see TONS of marine life, many many fish and a shark here and there. The snorkeling, u make it what u want to! Cruise the shoreline and see many coral and fish there as well at your own pace. Crystal clear views in 40 foot of water and down to 6 foot of water in the snorkeling area. The only thing I’d like to have to make it better was a bit more time in the underwater scooter, you get 30 minutes roughly and snorkeling the rest of the time, but, it is NOT an issue! I highly recommend! Worth every penny of admission. Best for adults but so simple younger children can do it as well. If you read a bad review, ignore it, those people are just looking for something negative to say! This is a MUST when visiting St Thomas!
Experience overall was good. Good snorkeling and boat was good. The submersible was a unique experience that I recommend. Although, I was put in unlucky #13 and it did not function very well. Propulsion was a snails pace even compared to the other submersibles. We are down there for only 20 min with them. The life vests should have two straps around you (one around waist and another up through groin). The one for the groin was intentionally cut on all of them, which is stupid because the vest rides higher up on neck once in the water or can slide off over your head. The experience looking through the bubble on the submersible is a little surreal. Depth perception is warped when looking down or to the sides, but it is a very easy going time breathing. It is as if you turn a cup over in water. You breath in the air pocket that is formed and with the compressed air from the tank attached to the submersible.
Horrible experience. I didn’t receive a scooter and would never do this experience again.

We had a great time on the BOSS and the crew was wonderful! The crew was knowledgeable and fun. Snorkeling was at your leisure or you could stay on the boat and snack, sun or just relax. The best part is the 30 minutes scooter tour!!! So much fun. I was surprised to learn that you can participate even if you don't swim. I watched the crew walk a couple through the process and neither of them could swim; they were nervous; but post scooter ride were thrilled they had done it and would do it again! I highly recommend this excursion.

OMGOODNESS!!!!! THIS WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I loved the entire experience from meeting up on the pier as strangers at the beginning, to arriving back at the pier as friends. The Captain was hilarious and all of her crew were amazing. I had a blast! The tour guide used fish food to coax the BEAUTIFUL fish over to our tour group. Within seconds there were so many fish that came right to us. I was able to touch some of them; I swear one fish kissed my face helmet. The ride over and back was beautiful and everyone on board had a wonderful time. After it was over I immediately wanted to do it again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!

The captain and his crew are exceptional and amusing! They made sure to explain everything and help everyone. They even discuss what you might be feeling or thinking when you first get into the scooter and helmet, and how to overcome any fears or concerns. There are multiple divers in the water with you, so they're always there to watch, help, and guide you. We saw so many fish and an awesome shipwreck. I highly recommend this excursion, and I will be back again!
The Captain and crew are very professional and care about the participants. I was a little anxious about going under the water to enter the helmet but they were very patient and helped facilitate the transition. It was once in a lifetime experience for me. I’m 66, spinal issues and don’t consider myself a good swimmer but it was an amazing experience. The captain even gave me the XL shirt off his back. 🤭
Im not a swimmer at all..the divers took their time and made sure I felt safe..I Loved every moment of it ...FYI if u want to take pics please bring ur camera something that's water safe because they don't provide pics.

Staff were great! Very reassuring as I was terrified to put my head under the water to get into the scooter. My son and I had a blast! We even saw a shipwreck. Added bonus was that we snorkeled fist before we did the scooter.

Cool experience, the actual time in the water on the scooters is short. About 8-10 minutes the rest of the time you can snorkel or wait on the boat for your turn. It takes longer to get to the location than you spend in the water. They do not offer any sort of photography for purchase. They will take pictures if you have an underwater camera, but only if it is a true underwater camera and not in a waterproof pouch or other case you may use for your phone. Hate that we did not get one photo underwater. Would have loved to have that memory with my son. Overall cool tour, but a bit pricey for what you actually get. Also taxi ride to the marina will cost you $8-9 per person each way. So we spent an additional $70 in taxi round trip. They offered capri suns and packs of cookies as a snack…. Definitely could have been better snacks for the price. I will say they are big on safety and that’s great. This would be an awesome tour if they offered more time in the water on the scooters, photography for purchase, and maybe light sandwiches and fruit as a snack.

I do not even put my face under the water in the shower and yet I went on this scuba/scooter. Anyone can do this. The snorkeling was also great. We saw so many varieties of fish. We had one proficient swimmer, one moderate swimmer, and one non-swimmer, and we all had an awesome time! They were very encouraging with our non-swimmer and ensured she was well taken care of and comfortable. Saw a ton of beautiful fish. Super fun outing for all and would highly recommended!
