Bella did a great job. She was on a paddleboard and even paddled backwards in order for us to hear better! Very talented!! We saw multiple tarpons and several stingrays.

Wish it was longer time out and the distance along shore was longer but overall saw stingrays and big fish
Lots of fun! Small group and great guide!
Friendly, knowledgeable guide (Alexandra) and nice equipment (clear-bottomed kayak, paddle, life jacket). Overall great experience!
The BEST Glow Boat Experience on St. Thomas – A Must-Do! If you’re visiting St. Thomas and trying to decide which excursion to book, stop looking—this is hands down the BEST glow boat experience on the island! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My biggest recommendation is to book directly through St. Thomas Water Sports LLC. From the moment we booked, Natalie, the manager, went above and beyond to make our entire experience seamless. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure we were fully prepared before we even arrived. She explained exactly where to meet, what to wear, what to bring, and what to expect, and she answered every question we had. Everything was so organized and stress-free because of her. She truly made planning our excursions effortless, and I only wish we had more time on the island to book even more activities through this amazing company! Our guides, Lewis and Luke, absolutely made the experience unforgettable. They were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and fun. Lewis is hilarious! Throughout the tour, he kept everyone laughing with funny stories and jokes about St. Thomas, pirates, island life, and local history, while also sharing fascinating facts about the area. Luke was equally fantastic, always making sure everyone was comfortable, included, and having a great time. One thing I really appreciated was how much they cared about the entire group. Whenever someone spotted marine life—sea turtles, tarpon, barracuda, stingrays, starfish, or anything else—Lewis and Luke would stop so everyone had the chance to see it. No one ever felt left out. They also kept the group small, which made the experience feel much more personal, relaxed, and safe. Before we even got into the kayaks, they clearly explained everything and made sure everyone felt comfortable navigating the glow boats. Throughout the tour, they continuously checked on everyone, prioritized safety, and guided us through areas with plenty of active marine life. It was the perfect balance of adventure, education, laughter, and relaxation. The glowing kayaks at night were absolutely beautiful, and seeing the underwater world illuminated beneath us was something we will never forget. It was such a unique experience and one of the highlights of our entire vacation. One piece of advice for anyone visiting the Virgin Islands: don’t let the weather forecast scare you! If rain is in the forecast, don’t panic. That’s island weather, and it RARELY rains all day—even when rain is predicted. Most of the time, storms either never arrive or they pass quickly, lasting only a few minutes before the sun comes right back out. We learned not to stress over the forecast because it usually turns into beautiful weather again. You’re in paradise—relax, let nature do its thing, and enjoy your vacation! Wait until your excursion time before canceling anything, because chances are you’ll still have an incredible experience and the rain won’t happen. This was easily one of our favorite activities in St. Thomas, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Huge thank you to Natalie, Lewis, Luke, and everyone at St. Thomas Water Sports LLC for creating such an unforgettable evening. If you’re visiting St. Thomas, this is an absolute must-do experience, along with the catamaran sunset dinner and cocktail sail, and the guided snorkeling tour on the catamaran—all booked directly through St. Thomas Water Sports LLC. Absolutely amazing experiences, with beautiful views and the best possible people! Can’t wait to go back to do it again!!! Stunning in every way possible! Length of visit was amazing and definitely worth the money! :) If you have any questions prior, don’t hesitate to reach out to them and they’ll be happy to answer! They’re the best!!!
Highly recommend if your coming to the island. It was a great experience with the kids and wore them out perfectly after flying in.
A great time for the family! My son and I in one kayak and my husband in another. Shocking how clear it is even at night! Saw lots of sea life and the best views from the water. Super easy rowing and an helpful guide. Really enjoyed it! And super easy at the dock at Marriott!
This was the most amazing incredible experience I have ever had! We had an absolute blast and it was so beautiful to be out in ocean at night. We had Nate and Jack as our tour guides and they were absolutely wonderful! We couldn’t be more happy. They were the best! I would highly recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be coming back again!
Our guide was friendly and had lots of good info but you had to make sure you were close enough to hear him luckily they do small groups so only 5-6 kayaks were in group. Plus while it seems cool that other groups are wearing glow in the dark bands - that’s so glue use plastic with chemicals - no bueno. this group does not do that! Good thing. Saw lots of sting rays, a turtle and lots of terrapin. Really cool experience in a contained area which made me feel comfortable
Captain Dave and his crew top notch. Super friendly. Special shout out to Yanci, Dan and Mary who made it fun for the family. Entertainment was top quality. Snacks, drinks and fun.
Experienced and enthusiastic guides, not a different experience if you have never kayaked before. Easy going and a dry experience. We saw Plenty of sea life sea turtle, rays and huge tarpons. Would be a great experience for families or just your significant other. I’m pleased with the experience as we saw plenty of sea life!
Kayaking was a fun time and the kayaks were in good shape. We had a group of us and we enjoyed everything we saw. Our main complaint is we would have preferred more of a kayaking experience and not as leisurely as this was. The sights were cool and the guide was nice.
My family went on the night time light up kayak tour leaving from the Marriott Frenchman's Cove. Our guide greeted us and gave us a quick lesson on how to maneuver our kayaks and got us out on the water. She was very knowledgeable on the marine life in St Thomas. We saw 2 sea turtles, a few sting rays and tarpons, plus some little fishys. We learned about the wildlife and ecosystem of the area and had a great time. The light up kayak was so cool and really illuminated the water so you could see the marine life through the clear bottom of the kayak. Seeing the sea turtles and sting rays was amazing. I highly recommend this tour!
This was very relaxing and educational. I love that no glow sticks and accessories are used as people tend to let them get in the water with is not an environmentaly friendly thing to do. It was a beautiful clear night and we loved the way the guide told us stories about many of the resident wildlife in the water such as rays and turtles. However, it was a bit disappointing to have to watch other tour groups go further out and visit other sections to explore while our group stayed in the same little area of the bay and did not get to spend much time "touring". I would probably use a different provider next time to get a more full experience. However, if you are afraid to venture out or are anxious of open water at night this may be the better option for you.
Awesome experience with Derek and Jess! Saw so many rays and turtles! So knowledgeable about the ocean life!
This was a cool experience. Unfortunately, I got sea sick during our tour and ended up feeding the fish. The guides were great though and one of them discreetly escorted my husband and I back to land without the rest of the group noticing what had happened. I would love to try this again after taking some dramomine!
Great guys with the best puns ! We all had a great time !! Even when 2 out of our group got sea sick they was quick to act and get them back to the shoreline
The night kayak was great. Saw many night life fish and animals. The guide was great and very funny. He made the whole thing fun.
Fantastic time saw a few turtles, stingrays and other large fish up close. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and knew all the best spots to check out. Highly recommend!
Ryan and the girl who paddled us were super kind, patient and informative making sure everyone saw underwater life!! Loved this tour!!
We had an amazing experience as first time kayakers! Our tour guide was super down to earth and made the experience even better!
Great guide! He was 15 years in and had names for all the sea life. Very entertaining - got to see a lot of cool night-time activity under us! Sea turtles, huge fish, stingrays, etc. beautiful night.
We booked this at the resort, we got the confirmation email quickly. We met at the dock right at the Marriott resort, we were greeted immediately and our confirmation was confirmed. Double glass bottom… super easy to operate and enjoyable. Our guide Paul was super knowledgeable about the wildlife, the ocean itself and other cool facts. We saw stingrays, tarpons and sea turtles. The experience was incredible. I would suggest doing the 7pm tour we did the 8:30, which was great but I understand there is more activity from the sea life at early evening. Don’t miss out on the amazing adventure. Definitely kid friendly and grandma and grandpa can handle this also….. that’s me 😊
I highly recommend this tour! My family had such an amazing time. Nate and Curtis were excellent, pointing out turtles, sting rays, turpins etc. My family really enjoyed their knowledge and fun facts about the area, with some adorable jokes and puns mixed in. I can’t say enough about the guides, they really worked hard to make sure we were safe, saw a lot of sea animals and had a great time. The view was phenomal as well, with our sparkling headbands, neon body paint and lit up buildings on the hills, all the photos I took came out amazing. The guides also took great photos of our family and shared them. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend this tour!!
Wonderful experience! Saw a lot of sea life! Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
What a cool experience, Paul our guide was top notch!! Very professional, informative, and funny! Seen a bunch of marine life including tarpons, rays and turtles. The guide even has names for most the fish lol. Highly recommended🙂
It was a lot of fun, our tour guide pointed out quite a few fish and a ray and found us a few turtles to see. They also shined a flashlight to show us the jumping fish.
Had the best time with Derek and Doug. Seeing the beautiful sea life with the crazy waves made my trip. can’t wait to come back .
Nice sturdy kayaks, able to see under the water even though they were not the “clear kayaks” you typically think of. The bottom was clear. Lots of large tarpon, a few sting rays and a sea turtle named “pickles” that frequents the area. At times it was difficult to hear the guide, although she was knowledgeable. This was a unique experience. I feel like the tour could have lasted a little longer. It was shy of an hour. We are glad we did this tour since it was something different and memorable.
Doug and Curtis made our tour absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we started, their energy and humor set the tone for such a fun experience. They kept everyone laughing while sharing fascinating stories about the island.
We had a wonderful time. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. We saw many tarpons, stingrays, and others.
Wonderful experience, the guides are awesome. Got to see stingrays, sea turtles, and tarpon up close and personal. We will be back next year
The Glow Boat excursion was definitely well worth it. Paul was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the underwater creatures. We saw several sting rays tarpon and turtles among other things. The glass bottom kayaks were easy to maneuver. All 4 of us had a blast!
This isn't a kayaking trip, more over float around the dock and look for turtles, stingrays and fish with the guide's flashlight. I was very disappointed looking at kayaking excursions with other companies who had lighted bottom boats, headlights and actually kayaked the coast of the island and had a decent length route and trip. When we left the dock I was wondering why we were waiting and if I were to start paddling. The owner and guide were very nice since we were the only couple to book that 830pm slot and feel like we were cut short by about 20-30 minutes. If you're a first time kayaker, this may be a good way to learn, else I'd look for another company to book with as they are cheaper and go further around the island. Between the 150 ticket price for 2, 60 dollar around trip in the taxi and 20 dollar tip, its not worth 230 dollars unless you are staying right at the Marriott property. I usually do not write bad reviews but this was the most disappointing part of our short trip.
The experience was fun but I think limiting the group to 4 couples would improve the ability to hear our guide, an amplifier of some sort would also have allowed us to hear him over background noise.
This is VERY TOURISTY and not authentic at all. We floated around the dock by the hotel for an hour and saw very little. Guides were very nice and good people - but this is a goofy tour and not worth the money or time. A tourist hotel trap.
This was definitely a fun excursion to take while in St. Thomas. Our guide was so knowledgeable and you could tell he lived his job and had a lot of passion for the local environment.
An Incredible Experience! May or may not see much wildlife. Just depends on any particular night. However the experience is amazing. First time my wife kayaked and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We really liked our two guides.
Super friendly and knowledgeable guides. Thought it was one person per boat but ended up in kayak with my husband, which was great.
The glow boats were great! The guide was very knowledgeable. We were able to see a few turtles, lots of fish, and some stingrays. It was definitely worth it.
It was lovely, learned to Kayak and guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, got to see some sting rays and fish, and some beautiful tarpon
This tour is great for families and kids. We saw turtles, stingrays, and different kinds of fish. Tour guide was great and funny. The only downside to this was that if you don't stay at the resort they give you directions on how to get to the meeting place, and its a far walk and is confusing.
It was very cool to see the marine life and go kayaking at night. We had a good time. There was some confusion about each of us wanting an individual kayak. I would just make sure you book each kayak separately so the operators know you don’t want to be paired with another person—or optionally the operators should have a booking option for solo versus paired kayaks.
Getting through the hotel isn't to bad. The directions from the security at the gate were exact 💯! Great tour and playing in the water. Saw sunrays and multiple fish. Great time with the kids and family
Would highly recommend. Roxy and Aaron made the tour exciting. Not only did we get to see stingray and tarpon, we were given historical information which made the tour great, along with Aaron’s occasional side jokes. Just loved the cove…. Honestly just kayaking out to that peaceful tranquil area was enough if no fish were in sight! So glad we did this. Took us to be 65 and 68! lol.
Scenery was great. Captain brought us close by gazillion dollar yachts, a beautiful sunset, and amazing vistas. The food was great, the staff were fun and helpful. Do it!
I love to Kayak and thought this lighted Evening adventure would be so fun and different. First, there was a woman with a walker that had booked. I give her kudos for keeping active, however getting into her kayak delayed us going out, felt that shortened our time. It was beautiful floating about, thought we'd see more. I think the Guide should wear something to project his voice as you couldn't hear if further back! I'm still glad I went. I'd do again and hope for more activity by nature.
Savanna was the BEST tour guide!!! The most knowledgeable guide sharing facts about marine science, geology, cultural history, and a few cheeky jokes! She even got us to see a turtle! Would absolutely book another tour with Glow Boats!
We did the Harbour sunset cruise. Food was good and there was plenty. The crew was fantastic and overall a great experience.
Fun, informative, super easy float around the bay. Saw tarpon, turtles, stingrays, and Kevin the red snapper. Guides were awesome; they kept the gaggle together so all the lights on the kayaks worked as one to attract critters and they answered all of the questions with the right amount of accuracy and sarcasm. Scheduling was easy. Getting there was easy. Paddling was easy.
