Full Day Private Charter, Snorkel St. John (12 Guests, 55’ Yacht)

We took a private Charter on Blue Dream in March. The boat is fantastic and can get to most spots in St. John very quickly -- to give you and your group lots of time to snorkel and explore. And the crew is fabulous. They provide a delicious lunch and go above and beyond to make sure everyone has everything they want/need and is comfortable. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had a beautiful day sailing around St Thomas and St John. Addison and Scotty took great care of us and were very accommodating.

We had a family reunion this past week in St. Thomas. Chartering Blue Dream for the day was the highlight of our trip! Captain Tom and First Mate Kayla were so hospitable and entertaining. The two places they took us for snorkeling were fabulous! We were traveling with a 14-month old. They provided an approved life jacket and were very conscious of his safety which we very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this charter. We can't wait to go again! Thank you both!

Had an amazing day with Blue Dream Charters! Went out with Captain Tommy and first mate Kayla and everything was perfect. Loved snorkeling and swimming at the beach, seeing the islands from the water, and just enjoying the sailing. Drinks were great and the vibes were awesome. Five stars all the way!

Our family had a great day out on the water with Captain Tommy and Mate Kayla! They took us snorkeling to see fish and turtles, then sailed us to Christmas Cove for an afternoon float! It was the bst day of our week, by far

It was an incredible experience to head out on the gorgeous sailboat for the day. The two-person crew was fantastic and we had a nice lunch. We had three fantastic snorkel spots and a leisurely sail around St. John. The day was very relaxing, leisurely, and gorgeous. I'd certainly book the again if I'm able to travel back. Getting in and out of the zodiac to board the sailboat would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.

My husband and I took our kids and grandkids to St Thomas for a family vacation - first time in the VI. Spending a full day sailing on the beautiful Caribbean water was fantastic and definitely the highlight of our trip. Captain Tommy and First Mate Dante took such great care of us! I told my grandson my favorite part of the sailing trip was sitting with him and his mom on the bean bags upfront under the mast. He said his favorite part was "the tacos!” : ) (….they were delicious...) Do not miss an opportunity to be out on the water in the BLUE DREAM sailboat!

Amazing day on the water- beautiful boat, great drinks and impeccable service. We snorkeled three spots (Lovango, Scott Beach and Christmas Cove). Pick up and drop off in Cruz Bay (St. John) were easy and on time. Boat has shady spots if needed and super comfy bean bag chairs up front. This is our fifth time in St John and would book with Blue Dream Charters again. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible day on the water with Captain Tommy and First Mate Dante. They catered to our every need - suggested fun places to stop and explore - from snorkeling at Trunk Bay and near Little St. James, to visiting Lovango for a drink. They were most gracious hosts and served a delicious taco lunch. We highly recommend chartering with Tommy. His knowledge of the islands is unbelievable and his hospitality was top notch! 10/10!! Absolutely a must do with family. My wife and I brought our 7 & 11 year old boys. We sailed to St. John at a remote beach, snorkeled, ate chicken and fish tacos, sailed to Christmas bay, snorkeled the area, saw a sunken boat, sand sailed back. Drinks and snacks included!! The pain killers were amazing!! The 6 hour trip was worth every penny!! Highly recommended. Thanks Captain Tom!!

Awesome day out on the water with Tommy and crew! They are great guys who go out of their way to make sure you are always taken care of and are enjoying yourself. We had a nice lunch and snacks. And they are very considerate about making sure you always have a drink (try their Painkillers!!!! Yum)! These guys are very fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company! Our group of eight (friends and family) thoroughly enjoyed a gorgeous day on the water with Captain Tommy and first mate Kayla. Capt. Tommy possesses a strong command of sailing knowledge and knowledge of the local area, leading to interesting and enlightening conversations. First mate Kayla was always at the ready with a choice of drink, a snack, and a hot lunch of chicken or fish tacos with all the fixin’s. We found this team of two to be very service oriented and accommodating. We greatly appreciated the ability to get out of the sun, and stay on the deck of the ship to socialize with the Bimini top that stretched across the middle to the back of the sailboat. We would hire this team again if we are back in St Thomas at some future date.

The five of us ranging in age from 12 to 78 had a fun filled day with Captain Tommy and First Mate Kayla. We sailed to several coves for snorkeling where we saw many fish, large turtles, sea urchins and rays. Captain even arranged a picture perfect weather day for our sail. Definitely recommend this charter.

My friends and I had an unforgettable time sailing to St. John's with Captain Tommy. He made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable and ensured we felt completely safe the whole time. The views were stunning, the company was fantastic, and Captain Tommy's knowledge of the island added so much to the journey. We took the full day sail of the USVI on the Blue Dream and it was incredible. The 54 foot sloop has a roomy shaded cockpit, fun bean bag seating on the bow for the more adventurous sunbathers, and a convenient swim deck at the stern for easy on and off to the dingy or swimming/snorkeling. The boat Captains Tommy and Therese were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and experienced skippers who made the sail fun while ensuring our safety. They even let us take the helm as the boat cruised along at 7 knots between St John and St Thomas! They served excellent cocktails and delicious fish tacos and beef tacos. We stopped to swim and snorkel at Scott Beach on St John, a beautiful beach in front of the ruins of what was once the exclusive Caneel Bay Resort. We later stopped at Christmas Cove, home of the Pizza PI boat. It was a wonderful day of sun, sailing, and swimming. I hope to go again!

Captain Tommy and first mate Kayla gave my friends and I the best sailing experience we ever had! We went snorkeling with the turtles, saw dolphins, and they set up an amazing charcuterie board. I am gluten free and they were extremely accommodating and even got my gluten free crackers and corn tortillas for tacos!! Everything was seamless and relaxed. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!

What a great time we had with Blue Dream Charter. Our Captain, Tommy, and his first mate, Dante, were exceptional. There were 7 of us with all different desires, some are avid snorkelers and others loved to sail The winds were good for both. We went for long legs sailing, then Tommy found us a small fairly quiet cove to snorkel. After our first snorkel, Dante and Tommy served us a beautiful shrimp and Mahi tacos with all the fixins. The here was beer, rum punch and drinks galore. The saddest part is on the leg back to Cruz Bay when the trip is over. Can’t say enough about Tommy and Dante. We’ve sailed with Blue Charter for several years now and it never a disappointment.

The trip and the crew were great. Cap. Ward and Rachel were excellent hosts. We visited Scott's beach, Waho Beach, and spent time sailing between St. Thomas & St. John.

We had an amazing time with Blue Dream Charters! The captain (Ward) and Mate (Rachel) were both fantastic! They were waiting for us on the dock and we set sail immediately. The boat was nice and comfortable and they provided a light breakfast and drinks (both alcoholic and non) as much as we desired. Lunch was a taco bar and was very good as well. The sail to St. John’s was beautiful! Would do it again in a second. I would maybe ask for a few places more off the beaten path but it was a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic day, cruising around from St. Thomas to St. John! This is our second trip with Tommy and Blue Dream and it exceeded expectations both times. Lunch (and the drinks!) were fantastic and the sailboat was so nice and clean. Highly recommend the day long trip!

Coming to the U.S. Virgin Islands, there was a lot of sailboat charters that we could’ve chosen from. We went off the great reviews from blue dream, and we will never regret it. This was an amazing experience and day for my closest friends and family. Captain tommy and first mate kayla made our trip incredible, and even more memorable. I would recommend this trip to anyone that is visiting the US Virgin Islands and I would happily do it again.

A great experience, fair price, exceptional service. The boat was spacious, the crew was chill, and we had a great 6 hours on the water. A couple snorkeling stops, pizza from Pizza Pi, good music, and amazing weather. It was a great day sailing around St Thomas & St John. Crew had good knowledge of the islands and knowledge of the snorkeling stops. We saw turtles, sunken ships, colorful fish, and beautiful reefs. Highly recommend this outfit if visiting the USVI.

This was our third trip to SJVI and second sailing excursion. The first was with folks we didn’t know to BVI. This was chartered only with our family and was wonderful. The first trip was fantastic, this was just that next level better! Captain Tommy and Addison made the time sailing, snorkeling, swimming and relaxing perfect. They were sweet, attentive, patient (because our crowd can get goofy) and informative. They made sure we had more than plenty of delicious food, snacks and drinks, and all the water equipment we needed for a fun sail around St. John.

This was truly a highlight of our trip St. John! Capt Tommmy and Addison made sure the day was perfect from beginning to end! Since we were staying on St. John, we opted to just do a 5 hour sail so we could be picked up there. USVI are beautiful and we were so glad we splurged and spent the day on the water! The food and drinks were delicious and our group of 9 people could not say enough about how much they loved the day! We ate, drank, snorkeled, paddle boarded,’swam and just relaxed on the boat! I can’t recommend this trip enough! Treat yourself and your group! You will be so glad you did!

Capt. Tommy and mate, Addison, made sure our day was extra special. The weather was beautiful and from the moment I booked, communication was great. We were staying in St John and wanted to picked up there. We had the option of paying a little more or shortening our cruise to 5 hours (which is what we chose) and it worked out great! The food and drinks were delicious and the guys really went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves We made 2 stops for snorkeling and paddle boarding and just loved being out in the water! I highly recommend treating yourself to this day on the Blue Dream!

Captain Jesse & Mate Sarah were fun, knowledgeable and skilled. First stop was Scott beach only a few kayaker were there. Beautiful tranquil water, sandy beach, enjoyed snorkeling with turtles. Sarah packed us a beverage cooler. Then on to Christmas cove home to the floating Pizzaria. We had just enjoyed a sumptuous taco bar on board, so we did not indulge. This cove was busy with many boats, and had a stronger current, rocky beach. We floated on noodles it was amusing to people watch. Would definitely book again.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. We were on a cruise and wanted to support a local company rather than have the cruise ship get a large portion. We are so happy that we chose BlueDream Charters. Jesse and Sarah were our captain and mate and they were Amazing and were flexible with our plans. They took us to Scott's Beach, a quick stop at Honeymoon Island and then finished off at Christmas Cove. All 12 of us agreed this was the highlight of our trip. I have been on many excursions and this is the Top I have done in the VIs. Communication was great prior to our trip so we knew where and when to be. Don't hesitate to book with them!

Captain Tommy and First Mate Sara took us on an adventure. Our first stop was Scott Beach St. John and it was gorgeous. We snorkeled with sea turtles and just relaxed. When the rains came in they brought us back on board for a gourmet taco spread. Then we went to Christmas cove for even better snorkeling! They kept the cocktails and snacks coming and we relaxed on bean bags all the back to port.

We had a wonderful day with Zack and Camille. We will 100 percent do this again on our next trip. We couldn’t have asked for better host/captains. This day has been our best day here!

This was an amazing excursion! Tommy & crew were so attentive, always keeping our drinks & bellies full :) Tommy also did a great job figuring out the weather for the day and keeping us all safe during a few minutes of rough seas in the channel. The crew was absolutely accommodating and fun. They took us to 2 different snorkeling areas that were absolutely beautiful. They were very knowledgeable about the area. Lunch was phenomenal as were the drinks. Will come back again and do this same charter!

This review is over due in writing, because it’s been almost a month since we had the most incredible time with this precious company, who took my family and I out on their beautiful boat for the day! Everything was beyond amazing! Mariah the first mate, was so attentive and kind to all of our needs, she totally went over and beyond! And captain Ethan, was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable about where to sail and snorkel that would meet all our desires! He is a captain that truly cares about his passengers and also went over and beyond in helping us with anything we needed! They are both purely amazing! One of the best ways to experience the USVIs is by sailboat and Blue Dream Charters did not disappoint. We booked a private charter for two days of our vacation where Tommy + Erin showed us some of the most beautiful spots in St. Thomas + St. John. The views were stunning and the snorkeling was so fun. We stopped by a few popular spots and visited hidden gems, learning history + fun facts along the way. Tacos + pizza for lunch were perfect after afternoons spent swimming. What made this trip so special - we were able to bring our two small dogs with us. Tommy + Erin were so accommodating and sweet to them and we were able to make some fun memories. We had such an amazing time celebrating my brothers 30th birthday! Tommy and Luke were the absolute best, we could not have asked for better service. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty to drink and eat for our entire group and our cups never ran empty! We are already planning our trip for next year and we will definitely be booking with Blue Dream again! We seriously can’t thank them enough for such an incredible day!! Highly, highly recommended!!!

I had asked to go down the channel by BVI, skipping St John, which we know well. I sent a message a week ahead (no reply) and called several days ahead and was not told that that due to Covid we were restricted from BVI waters. It would have been nice to know. We stopped at 3 tourist bays on St. John for snorkeling. No rinse bucket provided between swims. It was advertised- includes lunch, open bar, snorkel equipment, and a light breakfast. We were not served a light breakfast and the gourmet lunch was tacos.... The captain was knowledgeable and the first mate pleasant but it was a much different sail than I hoped for. -pretty cookie cutter. We powered from Lovango to the marina, not what you pay a sailboat for. I didn't feel as though they particularly cared to deviate or discuss the day and the 1200. charter... No imagination.
