Days End Sunset Sail With Open Bar From St. Thomas Ritz-carlton

We had a fantastic experience! Gorgeous sunset cruise with incredibly kind, knowledgeable staff who provided excellent conversation and island facts in addition to the utmost level of service. Make sure you read the email- you will wade out at least knee high to board!!!

We did our experience at sunset which I highly recommend. Views were incredible. You’ll have fun no matter the time of day.

Crew was welcoming and the bar was open as soon as we boarded until we returned. Food was good and sunset beautiful. You should know you have walk through sang, remove shoes and walk through water to board. It is slippery and impossible to see upon return. Shoes are kept for duration of the sail and retuned on the beach. We had fun but that was unexpected. We also set a dinner reservation at the hotel for 7:30 and made it in plenty of time.

Great staff - great fun and apps and drinks were perfect.

We had an excellent time aboard the Daydreamer for our private catamaran sunset sail. We loved being picked up right from the Ritz Carlton beach. The crew consisted of Chris, John, and Elijah who were friendly and upbeat. They made delicious cocktails and hand delivered heavy hors d'oeuvres during the entire sail. Capt. Chris kept the music going as we danced until the sun went down. The boat was clean and big enough to host our large group. It was so beautiful sailing between St. Thomas and St. John. I would recommend this charter or fleet of catamarans through Red Hospitality group to anyone visiting these islands.

A wonderful experience meeting a small random batch of people from wherever, having some beverages and apps while enjoying the sunset. The crew was very accommodating and made the whole time amazing!

Lovely sunset cruise! Enjoyed getting out on the water at a time when the sun and heat weren't as intense. Superb value for the money as well, given that unlimited alcoholic beverages and hours d'oeuvres were offered. The crew was friendly and attentive, provided excellent service throughout. Would recommend this to anyone staying at the Ritz Carlton for convenience boarding from the resort beach and a chance to view the sunset from a different aspect as the resort is East facing. My mom and I got some fantastic photos and met some fun people.

I am so glad we took this boat ride. It was absolutely beautiful watching the sunset. Captain Heather and crew were fabulous. The drinks and appetizers were perfect. Definitely a memory of our trip to St. Thomas that I will never forget.

The cruise & crew were great. We we're greeted on the beach at Ritz Carlton for our sunset cruise. There was plenty of seating on the boat, both outside and inside. The bar was setup & hor dourves served up by the crew. The sunset did not disappoint.

Different from few times past. Toddler on board. Cute. Just not the place for one. One wanted to whoop it up. Not a party barge. Next time will do a private evening sail and not Lady Lynsey. Staff is fine. Sail is okay.

We had the pleasure of joining the Days End Sunset Cruise out of the Ritz Carlton in St Thomas. Captain Heather was fantastic, as were the 2 crew members Brendan and J'Coi. The drinks were wonderful, the sunset was magnificent and the vibe was perfect.

Captain Heather and the crew were amazing! My husband and I did the cruise with our 4 month old. They were so attentive despite a boat full of people. Made us comfortable and kept checking in and also offering drinks. We enjoyed the amazing sunset and time with the staff Even with a four month old

We had a nice sail all around the bay on a beautiful evening. The staff was friendly and full of information on the area. The appetizers were delicious. The bar service was great. The bar tender served drinks at our seats so we didn’t even have to stand up and walk with the waves. He even offered to take a sunset picture of each couple on the boat. All in all, a nice time.

The cruise was wonderful! The horderves were amazing! Bottomless champagne and open bar top notch!!!

Beautiful boat and views. Staff was very safety conscience and customer focused. Kids are allowed on this cruise and there were quite a few people on our trip so maybe not as relaxing as I would have liked but beautiful sunset views and sailing.

The crew members of the sail boat Lady Linsey were fantastic. We lucked out. The weather was great for the sunset cruise.

Cancelled similar trip that departed port in Charlotte Amalie due to proximity to AB&B. Paid more for this one. Very limited hors d'oeuvres served, and sailing was OK. Crew was nice, just expected more.

Staff was very accommodating, friendly and focused on their guests’ satisfaction. Ample bar and excellent passed nibbles. I might suggest a few additional seat cushions to lessen the standing.

We chose and paid for the Lady Lynsey from Viator, however upon arrival at the meeting area on the beach we were told the Ritz Carlton Employees were having a private party on the Lady Lynsey that evening and we were switched to the Daydreamer without any prior notice. Not a good way to treat customers or run a business. Our family was told by the Captain of the Daydreamer that we would be refunded 1/2 the price we paid for Lady Lynsey, but it’s 5 days later and we’ve yet to receive the credit on our account from Viator. Very disappointing.

Magnificent sunset cruise that set sail directly from the beach at Ritz-Carlton St Thomas. Perfect! Open bar and yummy food, though a tip to wait til the catamaran stops for the sunset sit before trying to eat food. Definitely recommend.

Had a great night for a sail. The crew was fabulas. The snacks were very good. We actually got the recipe for the corn salsa from one of the crew. Had a great time and the crew were great.

This sail was lovely, as were the views. The "hors d'oeuvres" were more like very light snacks (chips and dip, basically), but the open bar was nice. If there was a stronger food offering on this sail, I would have offered a 5.

We took the sunset sail from the Ritz Carlton on the Lady Lyndsey and it was the highlight of our trip! The staff was incredible, full service open bar and tasty passed appetizers! The boat is gorgeous and very comfortable! Highly recommend making this part of your trip to St. Thomas!

I’m sure the sunset cruise would’ve been stunning if… we had a chance to board. We were brand new to the island so because the drive to the Ritz was 30 minutes away from our stay, we left with 75 minutes to spare before departure to be punctual. However, we encountered unexpected traffic on the island that was challenging to overcome. With 30 minutes left before departure, I began calling the number on Viator and sending “chats” or emails to the tour operator and heard absolutely nothing back. No one answered. There was nobody who could have even helped us. We make it to the Ritz but lose more time trying to find parking and reach the dock. It was extremely unclear where the guest parking was and where we needed to go to reach the boat. We finally run towards the boat at 5:31 as it is departing. The boat was still on the shore and left anyway. There was no ticket booth, tour operator, anyone that could’ve told them to stop. The worst part is we paid $900 for this and to not have anybody to contact was unfair. We would’ve gladly paid a penalty for being late but were not given the opportunity - even though the situation was out of our control. Other tours on the island go out of their way to call you and ensure you can make it to the departure point with no problem and give you contact information just to be safe. But not this tour. Highly disappointed.

The sunset cruise was very enjoyable. The food and beverages were well catered and free-flowing. Captain Jolene, Jackson, Mason and Mike were friendly and very engaging. One warning - entry to the catamaran is directly from the beach and shallow water - no shoes.

Great experience! We did Sunset Sail and St. John dinner Cruise from The Ritz. Crew and Captain were Amazing! Highly recommended! Wear shoes that you can leave in a basket pre-boarding, as the boat is barefoot (as most are). Yes, ya do step in the water to get on the boat :)

This was The most well spent money I have spent in a while it was absolutely amazing to be able to experience what you were experience at the Ritz Carlton without paying the hefty price of the Ritz Carlton. Arriving at the Ritz Carlton and then leaving on a extremely fancy expensive catamaran then we went out to the water and we saw a double rainbow and the sunset and it was absolutely amazing appetizers and drinks are delicious and you will definitely leave very very tipsy

The LadyLyndsey is a beautiful boat. The concept of a nice sail to St John for dinner is perfect. Personalized service, nice cocktails, small bites. It was great.

I guess I'd call this a "booze cruise" as the food was scarce. They brought around platters with skewers of chicken, beef, caprese and shrimp cocktail but not enough to fill up on, needed to get dinner after getting off the boat. The crew was very nice and attentive though and the cruise was very nice. Not sure I'd do this one again though as the price/value just wasn't there in my book.

Great time, the drinks and serving were fulfilling. Moreover, the view was stunning and the ride was very smooth.

The crew was amazing very helpful and fun! They really made my girlfriends birthday the best I could have asked for. Highly recommend this cruise for any occasion to be honest. We did two tours with Cruz Bay Watersports and were very impressed with both. We did the champagne sunset sail. It rained a little and was cloudy, but still saw a beautiful sunset. The appetizers were meatballs, chicken and beef skewers, tomato/mozzarella/pesto skewers and shrimp. The other tour we did was the Pizza Pi and Snorkel one. We went to Christmas Cove and Honeymoon beach for snorkeling. Both beautiful. My friend was getting a little sea sick and the staff brought her ginger ale. It was also her first time snorkeling and they were so helpful with getting her set up with gear and comfortable in the water. Honestly the best thing was the staff. So friendly, so accommodating. Our only complaint was the music on both boats :)

Beautiful catamaran, expertly sailed with friendly, hospitable crew - inspiring a great energy onboard to make this an epic social event with terrific sunset views. DEFINITELY worth the extra cost to sail out of the Ritz at 5pm than out of Frenchman's Cove at 6pm if you are visiting in November, given the timing of the sunset! Also, the higher class sailboat was super nice. Would definitely do this again!

Another COVID casualty. We booked this for a birthday (major milestone) and noticed from our balcony that it looked like they were not going. We were about to head down so I checked my email and they had just cancelled. Just a heads up in case you plan this for a special occasion. DO NOT. When we booked it we told them what occasion it was so you think at least a call or something. Just an email that we didn't get in time to make other plans. Reason was not enough people signed up.

We boarded the brand new and beautiful Lady Lynsey II sailing catamaran at the Ritz Carlton St Thomas for a sunset champagne cruise and loved it! Plenty of room to find seating and move around, extremely friendly crew and a great open bar with hors d’oeuvre’s. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed it thoroughly!! This is our 3rd time taking this sunset sail & each time it was magical! Crew, hor d'oeuvres, drinks were wonderful. Will absolutely go back again! Thanks!
