Catamaran Sail To Jost Van Dyke (Soggy Dollar Bar)

50th Birthday wishes amazing! Couldn't have imagined doing anything else for the big day. Save and Brendan were awesome and so knowledgeable about the islands in general. Fantastic day!

Another great day at White Bay with the Stormy Pirates crew! We were fortunate to spend another day on the water with Captain Tyler and First Mate Jackson, and once again, they did not disappoint. Both Tyler and Jackson were knowledgeable, accommodating, and so much fun to be around. They made the entire day relaxing, enjoyable, and truly memorable. We highly recommend Stormy Pirates and look forward to our next adventure with this fantastic crew!

This was a once of a lifetime experience. We were visiting and celebrating a 60th birthday and Stormy Pirates (SP) went above and beyond to make this a memorable trip. We were the only guests who had booked this trip and SP could have canceled according to their booking policy. Instead they kept the trip and said they wanted to make this a special birthday private charter. Carlie and Stephanie were our Captain and crew and as soon as we got on board they announced we were having a girls trip! They had a spread with labeled cups, fresh fruit and homemade mini muffins for us. They were the best! We sailed and explored BVI while relaxing and enjoying drinks, got to meet Foxy himself, and floated with Painkillers at Soggy Dollar. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable excursion I have been on. We would recommend this excursion 100%! Thank you Stormy Pirates, Carlie, Stephanie, and Tyler for an amazing day and experience!

Suzanna and Kenny were a dream team! They took care of us and had so much patience with all of our 5 kids. We could not have had a better experience!!!

Captain David and Grant were amazing! We had an absolutely amazing boat trip to the British Virgin Islands! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The boat was spotless and comfortable, the scenery was breathtaking, and every stop was more beautiful than the last. Captain Dave and Grant were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and they made sure everyone had a great time while keeping safety a top priority. They took us to Jost which had crystal-clear water, The entire day was perfectly planned, relaxing, and so much fun.

Grant and Tyler were a fabulous crew. The service was excellent, Tyler made sure we were safe and Grant ensured everything was terrific, from the cocktails, to the fruit and even cookies on the way back. This trip was worth every cent.

Definitely book with Stormy Pirates, you won’t be disappointed! This was our second charter with Stormy Pirates - we did a private catamaran from St Thomas to Jost Van Dyke…it was amazing! We had such a great experience last time that we requested our previous Captains Susanna and Kenny! They took care of everything - sharing the islands knowledge, handling everything with customs, food and drinks (they even accommodated our 3 gluten free folks!), we were able to just enjoy the experience! Thanks for a wonderful sail, once again! It felt like we had two extra friends on the boat!

Our family did the 8 hour catamaran sail to Yost Van Dyke. We arrived at 7:45am and check-in only took a few minutes. Kenny and Sussanah were our captain and crew for the day and they were amazing. They were very attentive and knowledgeable about the various islands which made our trip from St. Thomas to Yost Van Dyke even better. They handled all the customs paperwork when we arrived at BVI and we never had to leave the boat. After visiting a few of the local island bars, eating lunch, and hanging out on the beach, they took us to a great snorkeling spot. The 8 hour trip was perfect for us and our teenage daughters/friend. We never felt rushed and the time spent sailing was perfect. I would highly recommend Stormy Pirates.

Our boat day was the best part of our trip, Maeve was our Captain and she was absolutely the best she navigated the rough waters with such grace and took us to the best snorkeling spots and gave us so much info on the island. Our first Mate Maggie was fantastic and helped us and made sure we had everything we needed. We will 100% be requesting them for our next boat day when we come back. If you love being on the water and taking in some incredible scenery along the way, this trip is a must! Tyler and Steph were outstanding guides. They provided interesting information throughout the sail and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic experience. They also shared great recommendations for some of the best food and drinks at local spots along the route. Tyler and Steph were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, making the entire trip both fun and relaxing. Their attention to detail and genuine passion for what they do really stood out. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the area!

My husband and I went out with 3 other couples on Monday, June 1st. Our captain was David and first mate was Grant. We had amazing weather for the ride over to Jost. David and Grant provided a lot of great information about the islands along the way. We stop at Foxy’s first. Spoke and took at pic with Foxy himself. Then motored over to Soggy Dollar for lunch and drinks. The water was amazing. The ride back to St. Thomas excellent. Best day of our trip.

The crew and craft were top notch. Really enjoyed our snorkeling stop at Lovango and Jost VanDyke was pristine. Clear water like a post card. Lunch recommendations were spot on. Our sail back to St. Thomas was so peaceful. Nice choice of music for our cruise. Something for everyone. What a treat! Would book again and highly recommend!

Fabulous trip. Great day on the water sailing part of the trip over to JVD. Loved going back to Great Harbor and Whites Bay. Spent the right amount of time at both areas. Captain David was the best plus terrific staff. They did a great job of taking care of us. Friendly and knowledgeable plus very accommodating to everyone to make we had a wonderful experience. We did!!

Loved our relaxed pace and small group and being able to sail and relax on front of boat. Carly and Maggie were very nice and set the tone for a good day!

Absolutely loved this. I had Dave, Maeve, and Maggie and they made this trip. They were so knowledgeable about the islands and everything we saw and were so kind. A joy to talk to. I’m so glad we did the hike rather than sit at the pool because it was absolutely amazing. The pool was very small. Saw the prettiest beach I’ve seen on the hike. Would recommend this! Drinks and snacks are included on the boat

This was absolutely awesome. All day adventure. Dave, Maggie, and Maeve were the absolute best tour guides. They were awesome at explaining all the fun facts about the islands and Dave was hilarious. Was about to not do the hike, but so glad I did. The views we saw were priceless and saw one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. DO THE HIKE!!!!

Stormy Pirates has yet to disappoint. Yesterday was our 7th excursion with them over 3 years and we have loved every one of them. Shout out to Capt Carly!!! We had her as our captain earlier in the week and again yesterday. She is the best!! Her crew Maggie was also awesome. Stormy Pirates hires only the best staff and crews and keeps their vessels in great shape. The guest groups are small and you will always leave with friends. We have completed almost all of Stormy Pirates charters without a single disappointment.

We had an amazing day sailing on a catamaran to Jost Van Dyke. Our Captain Carly and co-captain Grant were great. We had a very relaxing sail and drinks were kept full with some great conversation. They took very good care of us and made sure our day was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour.

What a wonderful day on the water with Kenny and Susannah!! They made it even more wonderful with their thoughtful service. Music was on point. It was all these little details that made the day on the water even better!!

Susanna & Kenny gave us a perfect day. We had a mixed group of two couples & a family of 7. The snacks & drinks were as advertised - fruit, bagels, donut holes & muffins along with a cooler full of drinks or mixed drinks. On the way back a plate of hand made chocolate cookies appeared. Both were so friendly, made sure everyone knew what to expect & checked to see if all were happy. They obviously knew what they were doing. But it felt more like you were guests in their home, they wanted to know who you were & was there anything you needed? They were at ease & so we were all too. One of the teens had a birthday the day of our cruise. Right before the cruise ended Susanna took out a plate of cupcakes & we all sang Happy Birthday. Sweet & thoughtful. The weather was perfect, the sail to Jost Van Dyke totally relaxing & both stops at beautiful beaches & iconic bars, restaurants & shops were fun. Thanks for making our day the best it could be. :) Two Mainers

Went on the Jost Van Dyke catamaran sail and it was awesome! Captain Kenny and Captain Susanna were extremely knowledgeable and helpful the entire trip- made us feel right at home from the time we left the dock. Our group was small which made it perfect! Thank you! Will book again!

5 stars are not high enough!!!! Boat Captain Kenny and Boat Captain Susannah were absolutely the best!! They made us feel welcome from the moment we met them. They were super knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. They made great suggestions on what businesses on island provided. Highly recommend Stormy Pirates to everyone!!

The best had a blast on all the planned excursions

Really enjoyed our cruise with Brandon and Maggie! Loved the sailing experience and the personal attention with only 12 people on board. The boat was comfortable and had seating both covered and out in the sun. Would have liked to spend all the time at White Bay - we didn't have very much time at the first stop. I'm not a good swimmer - definitely recommend this for good swimmers as we were anchored some distace from the beach, but I was assisted and made to feel very comfortable.

Tyler and Maeve are amazing!! They go above and beyond they took us to Foxy’s and Soggy dollar. The trip exceeded my expectations!!! We had a Birthday on the boat and they made it any amazing time. Maeve even bought a cake and found us all in Red hook to deliver it to birthday girl!!!! Way above and beyond!!!! This will be a trip for us every time we come to the VI’s

There must have been 300 to 400 people or more going through the Baths. It was horrible long lines. Not relaxing or fun at all. Soggy Dollar was neat. Captain Dave said eat at Coco Loco. He must have a kick back. Their food was 2x more expensive than Soggy Dollar and not as good.

We did a wonderful day sail to Jost van Dyke with Stormy Pirates. It was definitely the best such trip I've taken through the BVI/USVI. Kenny and Susannah were impeccable hosts and were totally attentive to our needs. We came away wishing that we could spend many more days on their very comfortable boat, drifting through these lovely islands and taking in the sun and the sea.

This was our second time doing this trip and it was amazing again. Kenny and Suzanna do a great job of taking care of you and making the trip relaxing and fun!! We got to meet Foxy this time from his world famous bar in Jost I highly recommend it and will be back again in July Joe & Tammy

We had a wonderful day on our Stormy Pirates boat trip to JVD. Kenny and Suzanne were so nice and solicitous of our every need. Boat was very clean, check in was a breeze, nice food nibbles for breakfast and cookies in the afternoon! Everything you could want to drink throughout the day. Just a lovely day on the water. Highly recommend.
