We chartered a day on the water with Captain Brandon and first mate Margaret. What an absolutely amazing day it was! Captain Brandon and Margaret were awesome, keeping drinks filled, and sharing the history of St John and St Thomas. Amazing snorkel locations where we saw turtles, beautiful reef and fish. But probably one of the most memorable parts of the day was the Pizza delivery to the boat. The pizza was comparable to pizza we have had in Italy. Simply amazing. Highly recommend this charter for an amazing day on the water.

We had a great day! Captain John and Stephanie were great! Steph went with us on our first dive and pointed out an octopus hiding on a rock. I would have never seen it without her pointing it out. That was sooo cool! I sat with John at the bridge while he was sailing and talked with him. He is very knowledgeable about the islands and learned a lot about what the instruments are for and sailing. He was very easy to talk to. The whole experience was great! I would definitely do it again. Thank you Captain John and Stephanie.

Great day on the water with Tara and Maeve! We had a group of 14 ranging from 5 years old to 74 years old and everyone had the best day on the water. We went to multiple spots for snorkeling, and enjoyed an amazing lunch at Pizza Pi. Not only were Tara and Maeve friendly, funny and so welcoming, they had the best interest of our entire group to ensure everyone had a great day, which we did! Would highly recommend using Stormy Pirates for a day on the water if you are in St. Thomas :)

This was the absolutely perfect way to end our week in St Thomas. The entire trip was so laid back and fun with amazing snorkel stops where we saw turtles, sting rays and gorgeous fish. The pizza was fabulous too and the crew, Captain John and Stephanie, were so engaging and attentive. The sunset sail at the end was just stunning even though the sunsets are hard to come by due to the Sahara dust, they still managed to make it magical. There is nothing more we could have asked for, thank you!

We had an amazing time on our trip! The Captain and first mate were so knowledgeable and personable. Amazing catamaran, amazing food, and amazing snorkeling. We swam with sea turtles and Leopard Rays as well as octopus and amazing tropical fish. Highly recommend for family and friends.

We absolutely loved it! A big turtle swam right up next to us while we were snorkeling.John and Heather were amazing! Treated us like we were royalty. They served drinks and snacks and pizza. Conversation and knowledge about the islands was great!.best captains ever! We saw all over the islands and branched.

We have looked forward to this trip all week and we were not disappointed! Thanks to John and Heather who took amazing care of us and made this trip so enjoyable for my family. The snorkel spots were amazing and we had tons of snacks and pizza throughout the day to keep us full. The rum punch was a hit, along with other drinks if we needed them. Really had a blast and everything was so beautiful.

Great fun day on a beautiful catamaran. Captain Carli and Steph were the perfect guides to have on the boat. We loved the snorkeling, sailing and pizza. The boat was the right size for a max of twelve passengers.

The guides, Kenny and Suzanne, were great! They could not have been more friendly. You could tell they enjoy their work.

The smaller group size made the charter feel almost private, which was a huge bonus. We especially enjoyed the stop at Pizza Pi, which added to the fun of the day. I would 100% charter this boat again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience on the water!

It was a beautiful , fun day sailing with Captain John & Steph ! We saw turtles , baby sharks , lots of fish and a stingray! Steph and Captain John are so courteous , hospitable , and informative . I felt safe and comfortable with them running the trip . My two teens and I had a fantastic time sailing from St Thomas to St John . It was breathtakingly gorgeous and the eight other tourists were lovely and funny . It was a day my kids and I will never forget. AND the pizza from Pizza pie was great ! We were first timers to St. Thomas, and this was the highlight of our trip! Brandon was a fantastic captain and made us feel safe the whole time and catered the trip to whatever we wanted! Maggie was also a phenomenal host and made sure we always had a full drink! They also were incredibly knowledgeable of the island and made it so fun! 10/10 will do this again!

We had a great time on the Pizza Pi snorkel excursion, our captain Tyler and first mate Robin did an amazing job! So much Fun with to do with friends and got to make some new ones too as everyone was so friendly! Saw Turtles and got to swim with them, so cool!

This was our fourth charter with Stormy Pirates and it continued to live up to expectations! The crew (Brendan, Brandon, Kevin and Jackson) were exceptional - it was like having a private concierge. We went to the Baths on Virgin Gorda and White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. This team does a superb job - I cannot recommend them enough! A 10/10 experience from start to finish.

The whole trip was fantastic! Heather and Jon were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw turtles, rays, a shark, and many many different types of fish! The sunset back was gorgeous! And the homemade cookies were delicious.

David and Maggie were excellent. We got to see turtles and various fish during our snorkeling. The pizza was solid and perfect to satiate our hunger. Sunset sail was a great activity.

David and Maggie were FANTASTIC!! David is a great Captain and Maggie an amazing First Mate!! The Catamaran was in perfect condition and Maggie kept the beverages fresh and full!! The seas were a little rough but David managed the boat very well. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a personal and up-front vacation excursion in the beautiful Caribbean Island waters.

This trip was amazing! Pizza Pi was closed which was a bummer, but the pizza from town was good. We saw several turtles, including one that surfaced right next to us! The catamaran was very nice and our crew of John and Jackson made sure everything was safe, fun and informative. The wind cooperated and we were able to sail a bit, which was so peaceful. Overall it was a great trip and I would highly recommend Stormy Pirates while in the US VI!

We took the Turtle, Pi and sunset cruise and it was amazing! Captain John and first mate Justin (I might have that name wrong, but he was originally from Colorado) were phenomenal. We were able to see turtles at the first stop we went to. The First Mate made sure drinks were flowing all day and made sure everyone was happy. I would definitely do this excursion again!

We’ve been visiting St. Thomas and St. John for five years, and this was hands down the BEST boat excursion we’ve ever taken! The Stormy Pirates Sunset & Pizza Pi tour was everything we hoped for and more. Captain Tyler and Jackson made the day unforgettable. They were friendly, laid-back, and full of local knowledge that kept our kids repeating fun facts and stories long after we got off the boat. It felt personal, not scripted, which made learning about the islands even more special. The bar was perfectly stocked, and Jackson made sure our cups were never empty. Tyler proved himself to be an expert captain, even skillfully outmaneuvering a passing storm so we barely noticed it. The snorkeling stops were epic—our family spotted turtles, a spotted eagle ray, squid, and more colorful fish than we could count. As the perfect finale, we cruised back while watching a breathtaking sunset. Unlike many charters that feel rushed or overcrowded, Stormy Pirates kept it relaxed and just right. Our family enjoyed our 6 hour catamaran boat tour of the USVI. We snorkeled, enjoyed a private beach, and saw so many turtles. Susanna and Kenny were great hosts and gave us a wonderful tour of St Thomas and St John areas. We had a fabulous time!!!

This is a very well run charter company and the boat and our day on the water was really excellent. Meeting in the lobby at the front of the marina was clearly marked and organized. The boat was clean. David our captain and Kevin the first mate were a perfect combination of laid back, fun, yet professional. They provided interesting information and stories about the islands along the way and best tips for our destinations. Kevin was also spot on making everyone comfortable with good music, tasty drinks and light snacks. The pizza was pretty good too. We saw eagle rays, turtles, sting rays, and even a shipwreck. I was also happy that even though we did not have a full boat (low season) they still took our group out and made the day even more special by spending time with us and getting to know our small group. I will for sure be bringing the family on a Stormy Pirates trip when we return next time!!! 5 Stars

Had the most amazing time Tara & Tyler are incredible. Snorkeled I was able to see turtles, stingrays, starfish. A sunken boat with some other super cool fish around it. What a perfect day. Pizza was brought right up to us. Which was super yummy. What teamwork between the two of them. Can’t wait to go again. They handled themselves very well. Great sailing fun. The history tutorial was very informational they were just outstanding.

Relaxing, exciting and yummy. The ride out and back was beautiful, breathtaking and relaxing. The snorkeling was exciting as we saw MANY sea turtles, including babies, and vibrant & colorful fish. We also saw a sting ray and dolphin! The pizza was delicious as well as the morning snacks & beverages while sailing out and back. A special shout out to Captain John and First Mate, Robin for the safe and hospitable adventure. Memories that will last a lifetime.

This is a fantastic trip. The combination of snorkel time and sail time is perfect. We were able to see so many turtles and fish at both locations. The pizza stop is at a great snorkeling location. You do not feel stressed or rushed at all. The vibe on the boat is so relaxed. The catamaran is the perfect size for the max number of guests(12). It keeps the trip very personal. Kenny and Suzanna were phenomenal. They are friendly, but professional. Always on top of keeping things in order, checking to make sure you have what you need and a wealth of information about the surrounding islands/area. Another great thing about this trip is the dingy. Yes, I said the dingy. Kenny will shuttle you to the snorkel areas from where the boat is anchored if you do not want to swim to it. He will also take you to the beach, and pick you up if you don’t want to snorkel. There are water noodles to assist if you aren’t comfortable just swimming as well. Even though I’m a good swimmer, I took a noodle and was able to just hang out with my face(mask on) in the water watching the turtles. They are mesmerizing and so cute! There is plenty of pizza and beverages to go around for all, as well as fruit and muffins when you board. I can’t say enough positive things regarding this trip. There was nothing negative about it at all. We parked in the ferry lot for $12. A short 3-5 minute walk. Just remember no spray or aerosol sunscreen. Lotion only. Enjoy!!!

Our first time sailing and it was a great experience. Swimming with the turtles was pur family's favorite. Would definitely recommend this trip as it was the perfect amount of time on the ocean for us.

We enjoyed the low-key, relaxed day sailing. Our captain was informative and personable, and Maggie was a wonderful hostess. The spots were full of 🐢 and 🐠. We even saw an Eagle Sting Ray and Caribbean Reef Squids! Great way to end our stay with the perfect day trip!

Maeve and John were great hosts on our day trip to Maho Bay and Christmas cove. We saw some sting rays and a couple turtles, and of course colorful fish. They explained everything we needed to know, provided us with yummy food and drinks and made sure we were comfortable. The boat was comfy and beautiful. Loved the snorkeling especially at Christmas cove. And Pizza pi was tasty too. We really enjoyed our time!

Great day! Capt. Kenny and Savanah were awesome! Absolutely no complaints! Can't wait to do it again. They really put you in the right spots to see everything! Even whales!

Carly and Robin were amazing! We saw gigantic turtles at Maho Bay, but Xmas Cove was the highlight with the shipwreck, the crystal clear water, and the reef. It rained for our trip, which was a bummer, but it was still a fun trip.

One of the top things we've ever done as a family. Kevin and Jon were the ultimate captains and hosts. We saw sights we never imagined, swimming with turtles, fish and so much sea life. The ultimate day trip and a definite highlight of our trip to St. Thomas.

Our first time visiting St Thomas and Tyler and Kevin made it amazing! The boat was beautiful and they took us to some amazing spots. Kevin went out of his way to get us anything we needed including showing our children all the cool things in the ocean. The ship wreck was a big hit and we saw a few turtles and sting rays! They even got to hold a star fish! They also told us about the history of the islands! It was very informative. Can’t say enough good things about stormy pirates.

We did a Turtles, Pizza, and Shipwreck tour yesterday and had an incredible day! Captain John and Maggie were the BEST. They happily let all of the children in our groups explore the boat safely and even let them “learn” how to drive the boat…Capt John even showed them where to find their own buried treasure! Somehow we even managed to relax a little even with our children in tow. This is our first time to St. Thomas and we will happily return and take another tour with this awesome company.
