This is a fantastic trip with a beautiful beach to snorkel. Parking is a bet challenging in the area if you have a car so I would recommend taking a taxi. Great guides and history of the island.
It was exactly what we hoped it would be! I appreciated that they were honest about the windy conditions and that it would be a hard paddle to Scott Beach. The beach itself was lovely. Our guide, Kenny, made sure we saw lots of cool stuff on the snorkel - a sea turtle, octupi, squid, a sting ray, and tons of beautiful fish. Kenny was incredibly friendly and made the experience fun for our whole family.
Josh was amazing! We had such a wonderful time with him and he was so attentive to us. Saw “Chip” the sea turtle and other pretty fish. Great workout on a windy, sunny day. Was a blast!
It is a strenuous paddle but worth it. Scott's beach was beautiful and Isabel would dive down and show us different fish as we went. We even saw an eel.

We had a great time on this kayak / snorkel adventure. You need to be up for a 45 min kayak, hr snorkel, 45 mins kayak to return. The water was beautiful and the shop provides you with all the gear. We saw some cool fish on our journey and of course the weather was beautiful. We would do it again and Kenny was a great guide. Just be sure you’re well hydrated and have had a good meal for fuel prior to. This excursion is a workout as indicated in the description!
It was quite amazing. We saw more than expected on the trip and it was truly incredible. Kenny was an awesome guide! It’s 110% worth the price and we will absolutely do it again if we ever get the chance!

We had a great time on this excursion! Our tour guide Kenny was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting facts and tidbits about St. John and the neighboring islands. His warm personality and enthusiasm made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. The only disappointment was that this excursion was marketed as a “kayak and snorkel with sea turtles” experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any sea turtles, and we were later told that they are not commonly found in the area where we snorkeled. That felt a bit misleading, as it was the main reason we chose this particular excursion. That said, we still had a wonderful time. The snorkeling was enjoyable, the scenery was beautiful, and our guide’s expertise and engaging personality made the trip worthwhile. I would recommend this excursion—just go for the overall experience rather than expecting to see sea turtles.
The kayaking was much more strenuous than anticipated per the description of the excursion, and much more time-consuming. The actual snorkeling itself was disappointing, and that the water was very choppy, and the location required strenuous swimming.
This was THE highlight of our St. John trip. Kenny, our guide was fantastic. He was an excellent kayak instructor as we had not tandem kayaked in years. The kayak to Scott’s Beach was challenging yet very manageable. Kenny explained everything and was very intuitive on safety and where & how to see great sea life. He went a little ahead while swimming so he could point out the turtles, lobster, eel, beautiful Big fish, ray, & barracuda. I love to snorkel on my own but this trip was well worth it as we saw so much in a relatively short snorkel. We had a great time chatting with Kenny who gave great beach & restaurant recommendations as well as knowledgeable history of St John. This trip was so worth the money and time. We saw turtles and many beautiful fish. The guide went far ahead of the group and did not really look after those who were inexperienced, both while kayaking and snorkeling.
We took the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. Meeting place was a short walk from the terminal. We were driven to the launch spot. Our guide was great. He recently moved to St. John. We kayaked to Honeymoon Beach. We opted not to snorkel since we spent the previous day snorkeling. It was a bit more difficult paddling back but doable. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend.
It was very windy so it was a tough paddle at times. Kenny was very knowledgeable and pointed out so cool marine life. Not exactly what I expected but everyone got a workout and enjoyed the snorkeling. Saw quite a few sea turtles too.
This was amazing seen sea turtles, squid, many other species, Kenny and Stephanie were amazing. I even got to dive down about 20 feet into the water to got a closer look at this huge sea turtle. We saw stingrays, sea urchin, coral reef the British Virgin Islands and Kenny Chesney’s house from the ocean
This was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. Kenny was a fantastic guide and kept our group organized and moving smoothly. We were able to see a huge variety of fish and also saw 3 sea turtles. Many of the harder to find species we were able to see like a moray eel and octopus were due to Kenny’s knowledge of the area and species present.

This was a great way to start our vacation in St. John. Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, curious, and considerate. He was able to read the group and see that we had snorkeled before and were up for an ambitious trip. We kayaked out to Honeymoon bay, where there was plenty to see! He brought the GoPro Out and took great photos of the animals we saw, as well as great action shots of our family. The equipment was great and the kayak seats specifically were the most comfortable we have ever used (and we have bad backs!). You could tell he loved his job because every time we saw a new animal, his enthusiasm was genuine and infectious. Thank you, Pat, for making my Mom's 70th a day to remember!

They were very accommodating; they were willing and able to switch the date and type of experience at the last minute plus refunded the difference in price (which I was not expecting due to the last minute changes). Kenny and Stephanie were fantastic. They were well organized and made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. The adventure did not disappoint as we saw so many different creatures and fish in the water and sea turtles! (also a spotted ray and squid and an octopus)!! There was never a rush and Kenny was a plethora of local information. Thanks for the recommendation for St John Back Bar! Sushi was amazing. Definitely would do this again next time.
Kenny & Jonathon were great guides for our kayak & snorkle @ Scott's beach. We saw turtles, rays, a barracuda, an octopus in its den, and lots of Reef fish, some of the largest I've seen in St John.
Amazing experience snorkeling. Josh brought us to a spot where he personally located lots of marine life and took the time to show all of us.
It was so fun! We met at their office in Mongoose Junction and they were all friendly and helpful. Josh was our guide in the kayaks. He was full of personality and knowledgeable! He seemed genuinely excited to be taking a group out on the kayak and showing us all there is to see and having a great time! We kayaked past Solomon Bay Beach, Honeymoon Beach, and Caneel Bay with bits of island education and jokes being given by Josh along the way! We stopped at Scott’s Beach and snorkeled seeing a sea turtle, stingray, an octopus and so many beautiful fish! After we had our fill with that we headed back to the starting point in the kayaks with Josh keeping us entertained and laughing the whole way! It was a great tour! If you’re looking for something that doesn’t take up your whole day, but is fun and shows some island attractions, this is it!! Ask for Josh!

Taking the ocean kayaks out for a morning was great - snorkeling off Scott’s Beach was a great add-on. Kenny was well versed in STJ history and a great guide to interesting creatures in the water. Exercise, education, and a bit of adventure. A perfect morning!
Kenny was a wonderful tour guide. He was very friendly and likeable and he was great interacting with the guests. He frequently dove down to look for marine wildlife to show us such as octopus, etc. He found three sea turtles for us and several sting rays. It was a fun kayak and snorkel tour. We especially enjoyed the sea turtles and we feel that Kenny made it even more enjoyable due to his leadership and easygoing nature.
We had a fun time on this tour. Kenny was a great guide and we learned so much about the island from him. Not only did he find rays, turtles, and fish for us but he also gave us some awesome hiking trail insights and restaurant recommendations. 10/10 would recommend this experience!

Once at the beach we snorkeled for a bit and got to see sea turtles, two types of sting rays, an octopus, conch & numerous fish & coral before heading back. Very fun!! We had a great time (I had not kayaked on ocean before and my cousin never kayaked at all — but good instruction and it went great). Guide was extremely helpful and kind. He is also great at spotting octopus, etc. and took photos underwater of turtles, octopus. It was not overly strenuous but would not be someone’s best choice if very sedentary lifestyle. This was perhaps my favorite excursion while on St. Thomas ( we took the ferry to St. John to join the excursion). Definitely do not follow Viator link for the address though— Apple Maps will take you to the wrong location. Put in the tour group operator group name directly into Google Maps.
Amazing tour. Our guide was amazing, so knowledgable, she found sea creatures we would not have seen by ourselves, particularly the elusive eels and octopus. So many turtles. We had a variety of ages/ability levels in our group and our guide made things comfortable for everyone. The beach was a lovely secluded beach, snorkeling was amazing, kayaking was lovely. Highly recommend.
This was an incredible find! Patrick was so awesome- there are not enough stars in the sky to give! We kayaked to a beautiful beach and when we got into the water it was like being dropped into the most beautiful aquarium. He was so knowledgeable and kind and showed us dozens of amazing little creatures. We honestly can’t recommend this enough! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! I did this with my mom and we had an absolute blast! Kenny was awesome, super patient and a great teacher. It took me a little while at the beginning to get the hang of kayaking, but once I did, everything clicked. He took us to some incredible spots, and we saw octopus, sea turtles, stingrays, and even an eagle ray, just to name a few. It was truly an amazing experience, 10/10. I highly recommend it!!

Patrick was a great guide and taught us a lot We met at the office, where we signed in and got our snorkel gear, water, and a bag to bring the stuff on the kayak. We were able to leave our belongings in the office if we wanted. We then got driven to the beach where our kayaks were waiting. When we got back, we got a ride back to the office and were able to rinse off with freshwater and gather back our stuff

My family and I loved this tour. A scenic kayak paddle through Cruz Bay and around to Honeymoon Beach, then up to Scott Beach. We saw tropical fish, green turtles, sea urchins, puffer fish and sting rays. Patrick was an amazing guide, who explained the wildlife and history. Will definitely book again when we return.

Patrick gave us a great tour! Enjoyed the whole experience, including a kayak into the wind, snorkeling at a beautiful quiet beach, and the wind assisted paddle back to town. He provided interesting history of the island and was knowledgeable about the ocean currents and sea life. He didn’t rush the trip and patiently waited for the slowest paddlers. I would definitely recommend spending the morning with him exploring the island from the water.
