Full Day Bvi Cruise On 27 Palma Bella Iii Worldcat

Friends of our who were visiting were kind enough to invite us along on their full day BVI tour aboard Palma Bella III. Over the years we have been Palm Tree Charter guests many times, dating back to the days when the original owner operator John Brandi was in charge (at least during the trips, we all know that Sue was the backbone of the behind the scenes operation!). On this day we had a crew that was new to us - Captain Sherita and mate Wylie. Pickup at the beach in front of High Tide was prompt and efficient. The captain engaged us in a discussion of where we wanted to go/what we hoped to do, and a "subject to change due to conditions and/or the whim of the guests" plan was hatched, and we were underway! We made the crossing at tied up to the dock at BVI customs in Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke. While the crew checked all of us in we got out and took the short stroll into "town". We hung out in and around Foxy's and struck up some conversations with the guests who were on other charters that day. After completing the check in process the crew moved the boat to another dock, alerting us that we were now ready to move on. After boarding and further discussing options we headed to Little Jost where we walked past Foxy's Taboo and made our way to the famous bubbly pool. It wasn't especially rough there, but there was enough water movement to justify its name and after the hot, dusty walk the water was refreshingly welcome! By this time, getting some food was pretty high on everyone's priority so we headed over to the north shore of Tortola, to a place I'd never been before, Smuggler's Cove. There were two areas of coral on either side of a sandy channel in front of the beach. After checking out the reefs we all swam ashore to slate our thirst and hunger. To my mind this place reminded me of Honeymoon Beach on Water Island as it was 15 to 20 years ago. Very uncrowded with two establishments, Nigel's Snack Stand and Patricia's Beach Bar. Typical lunch snack menu. I enjoyed my jerk chicken plate. My wife had a blue painkiller, which she'd never seen or heard of before. She said it was good, but opted for a more standard drink for the second round. My Corona's were ice cold! We made a group decision to not deal with the choppy conditions that a snorkel stop at the Indians or Caves would have entailed, and opted instead for the tranquility of Sandy Spit. There was a group there that left shortly after we arrived, leaving that idyllic spot for us, and us alone! The downwind journey back to Cruz Bay was much more docile than the outbound trip had been, and before we knew it we were disembarking at the NPS dock. All in all, just what we have come to expect from Palm Tree Charters - a stress free, safe, and fun adventure, well taken care of by the able and amicable crew! Can't wait to do it again!

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) did the full day BVI charter with Captain Landry, and it was truly an unbelievable day! He was the nicest guy, so easy-going and genuinely seemed passionate about giving us the full BVI experience. We started the day at JVD to go through customs and while Landry handled all of that for us, we walked over for a morning drink at Foxy’s. Best painkiller we had all day and the conch fritters were to die for. We even got to meet the famous Foxy himself! Then we headed over to Norman Island, and snorkeled the caves. Landry made sure to point out all the sites we saw along the way. After the caves we went to The Willy T for lunch, which was such a fun experience. Then we headed to Sandy Spit back on JVD and it was truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in my entire life. We end of the day at Soggy Dollar which was a blast! On the ride back to St. John, Landry took his time and made sure to show us up close the beautiful North Shore beaches (Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay, etc). Just a phenomenal day that none of us will ever forget! I would highly recommend Landry … We are already talking about coming back with another family and booking him on a Freeman.

We had am amazing day with our Captain Jasmine. She was great and so knowledgeable about the islands. We were able to do so much! We went to The Baths, Norman Island, Willy T's and Soggy Dollar. I would highly recommend this to anyone! We were a group of 5 from Alabama which included myself and my husband, two 18 year old boys and my 72 year old Mom. Thank you so much for giving us a great day and a ton of memories!

Jimmy was great!! Our group enjoyed our trip to the Baths. This was my third trip with Palm Tree Charters.

Captain Chris provided an amazing day visiting Norman’s Island for some incredible snorkeling, Sandy Spit for unbelievable sights and water you just can’t describe and pictures that don’t do it justice. Finished up at Jost Van Dyke for a Painkiller and more beautiful beaches. This trip was definitely the highlight of our vacation. Definitely recommend. Palm Tree Charters is the best!

Enjoyed the day with Captain Chris! This cruise was the perfect way to see several islands in the BVI and visit several places along the way - Foxy's, Sandy Spit, Paradise Club, and Soggy Dollar - we had plenty of time at each stop. Swimming and snorkeling were great. Highly recommend!

Another EPIC day and our best day in St John was with Palm Tree Charters !! Chris was our captain and wow was he fun. Our group was pretty chill and help with some great suggestions of where to go. His stories are great and had us laughing. It was a very enjoyable day !!

We had Langley as our captain for two days during our vacation in the Virgin Islands. He was on time and took us to some great and provide a useful input when we have decisions to make our locations. We will definitely request him again as captain.

Landry was our captain. He was excellent. He handled the boat well, and had a great sense of humor. It was well worth the money!

There were 4 couples with one couple being their first time. We have been chartering. Day cruises on St. John’s for 15 years. Once we found Jimmy Key of Palm Tree charters, we stayed with him. His pricing has always been fair, his boats in great condition and his Captains are always top shelf. This is the 3rd time we had Landry as our captain for the day. Day 1 he took us around St John’s for snorkeling at his favorite stops and lunch at Limeout! We learned about 2 new spots this trip that were off the beaten path with super coral and colorful fish life. Day 2 with Landry required logistics for customs and planning the ride for a smooth journey, yet covering our requests. We snorkeled again and then stop at our favorites Willy T’s, Foxys, and Soggy Dollar. Landry added a new stop called Nigel’s at Smugglers Cove. Very unique, rustique and on a nice beach. Landry was very informative on the waters, the fish life and had a great playlist for both days. He made our days smooth, adventurous, safe, and hospitable. Can’t wait to go back again.

Our group of four friends had an amazing day exploring the BVI by boat with Chris. Chris was a great guide that showed us all the beautiful beaches, great places for snorkeling, and introduced us to some great food and drinks around the island. Would 100% do it again and highly recommend! Don’t miss it!

Our captain was Landry and he did an exceptional job. He was engaging, funny and personable which made our trip awesome, couldnt ask for a better captain to share our day with. We will be back

Great Charter! Have done it now 3 times and each time they are 100% perfect. You pick and choose what you want to do from all of their options. They always go above and beyond what you expect. The 3 times were 3 different Captains and I cannot begin to tell you how professional they have been and how knowledgeable and down to earth they all have been. My husband and I booked a full day cruise just for the two of us to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Chris was our driver and he was amazing! He was fun and tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted. We asked for unique snorkeling accessible only by boat and Chris delivered! It was unforgettable and I would recommend to anyone!

This is a must do on your vacation!! Chris was our captain and he took us to some amazing reefs and snorkeling holes, as well as a perfect lunch spot! We will be booking again!

Abbie was a great captain! Got us to all of our best stops - most of the boat was newbies so showing them all around the BVI was great! Palm Tree was very responsive and flexible with our booking.

We did the full day trip to the BVI's. The day could not have been better! Bridgett and Jimmy are so knowledgeable about the area and everything to do and see. We left the day pretty much in their hands and they led us on an unforgettable experience! We will definitely book with them again when we return to St. John. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a day of relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery and who wants to experience the ultimate beach bar vibe.

We did a full day USVI trip with Abbi. She was a fantastic captain and took us to great beaches for swimming and snorkeling. She had excellent local knowledge of each location, advising us where to swim & not swim to avoid sea urchins, etc. The boat was clean and in excellent condition, complete with a Bimini top to use when we needed shade. We stopped at Pizza Pi for lunch which is a fun concept but so popular that there was a bit of a wait - we'd probably skip that if we did it again to maximize our time at the beautiful beaches. A wonderful day and we'd certainly book with Palm Tree Charters again. They were highly recommended to us by a family who books with them every year.

It was a lovely day with a group of friends with a full day trip to the BVI’s. We started out on Jost Van Dyke and had a relaxing visit with Foxy and bought some delicious Rum cake from the super nice local woman on the bay front stand. Jim then took us over to Peter Island, oh what a gorgeous property, and we had a relaxing and delicious lunch with the most incredible surroundings. We headed back to JVD and had a glorious afternoon on White Bay with painkillers from Soggy Dollar Bar.

My husband and I met Jimmy a couple years ago in White Bay when he was there with a group on his boat, I tucked his business card away. About a year ago and friend was telling me about a great experience she had on a charter in USVI, it was Jimmy and Palm Tree Charters. So, obviously when we decided to book a charter, we booked with Palm Tree Charters! It was just my husband and I for the day. Our day with Captain Chris was fantastic! We had an idea of where we wanted to go, but were open to suggestions! He asked a few questions to ask what was most important for us to see. After that....he took us on our adventure! We spent the entire day exploring BVI... Tortola, Virgin Gorda. We were able to snorkel, have drinks/food, explore and see so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and will definitely book again!

We had a great time on our snorkel trip! Jasmine was great, she gave us a tour/education about St. John and the different beaches as well as the BVIs. She also gave recommendations for places to try local cuisine. The day of our trip it was bit windy so we had to modify our plans but we still had a great time and would totally do it again!

We had such a lovely experience with Abbie on our sunset cruise. The water was choppy and the clouds were being rude, but she did a fantastic job of keeping us in as calm of water and with as good as views as were humanly possible. Will definitely go again the next time we're in St. John!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Palm Tree Charters! We went out on a charter around St. John and St. Thomas with the owner, Captain Jimmy, and I cannot recommend him enough. The boat itself (a Worldcat) was extremely comfortable—perfect for a full morning and afternoon on the water. Jimmy was an attentive and fantastic host. He took the time to point out various points of interest and share the history of the islands as we cruised, which added so much to the experience. We stopped at several beautiful snorkel spots, including Waterlemon Cay, and made our way over to Lime Out for lunch, which was a huge highlight. Jimmy made sure our itinerary was perfect and handled everything effortlessly. If you are looking for a pleasant, high-quality charter in the USVI, book with Captain Jimmy!

We had a full day USVI charter. There were 4 adults and two children ages 10 and 7. We tried to go up the north shore of St John to get to the Coral Bay area but the wind made the seas rough so we had to go with a plan B. Captain Landry took us to 4 different snorkeling spots. Each was different and all were good. We went for lunch at a floating pizza restaurant which was fun and had very good pizza. Landry was great and was good with the kids. I would absolutely recommend Palm Tree Charters.

We spent an amazing day in the BVIs on Palma Bella III and Top Shelf. Our crew- Landry, Ayla, and Chris were great. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We stopped at the staples (Foxys, Soggy Dollar, Willy T) as well as a couple of the crews suggestions. Their local insights and recommendations made the day unforgettable! I would absolutely recommend Palm Tree Charters to anyone visiting the Virgin Islands. Jimmy, Bridgett and their team are the best. Whether you're new to the islands or returning, this is a fantastic way to experience the beauty and charm of the Caribbean.

The boat trip with Jimmy was a highlight of our trip. He was a knowledgeable guide to the amazing snorkeling spots we stopped at, and provided an interesting tour around St John. We loved the trip on the Palma Bella and would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Our family had a fabulous day trip to BVI but we started with snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay. We saw so many vibrant beautiful fish! Our captain Landry was very knowledgeable and fun and has great taste in music. Next, we headed to customs at BVI where Landry handled checking us in. We headed to Foxy's for a delicious cocktail and lunch. Then we headed over to Sandy Spit aka Corona Island. Such a cool spot. Finally, ended our day at Soggy Dollar. It was such a fun day and we made so memories. I would highly recommend Palm Tree Charters. It was a wonderful experience.

Another amazing boat trip to BVI! Jimmy took us to Lovango for snorkeling, Foxy’s, White Bay and Sandy Spit! Can’t wait to go back!
