We absolutely loved our stay at the St. Regis. The beach was beautiful with pristine and warm water. The hotel was at capacity but never felt crowded - we could always get as many chairs as we needed on the beach and whatever reservations we wanted. The grounds are small but well designed with the kids club adjacent to the gym making morning workouts a breeze. The kids pool is an infinity pool overlooking the beach so our girls were running back and forth pool to beach all day and we could watch them from our loungers. The food and drinks were fabulous. Most importantly, we’ve stayed at the Rosewood and Loren, both beautiful, but the St Regis knocks them out (seriously) when it comes to service. I felt taken care of every step of the way. Special shout outs to Sumit, Merla, and Rona, but also to everyone we met!!

Great for: families, even for groups, they cater a lot to those with children. Super scenic beach, very clean, new and updated rooms. Pools are clean, they offer fantastic sunscreen and great amenities in the room. Amazing staff - everyone from doormen to housekeepers all extremely service oriented and helpful. Good breakfast, lots of options for all tastes and dietary needs, just the dining room was deafening every day from all the kids screaming. For someone not traveling with toddlers, it's not very pleasant. Loved the location being close to the airport, yet on a secluded, private and gorgeous beach.
260821 Just revised down to 2 stars. We requested a taxi with the lobby attendant for early morning 6am ride to the airport. By 6:15 nothing. Spoke with the buttler on duty, and he said no record of our request was on file. We ended up getting a ride with Hitch. Thank god our Hitch driver was very punctual and drove fast enough to get us to the airport on time. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight because of the irresponsible butler service. There is no way I will be staying here in the future due to the unpredictable service. First time staying at the St. Regis Resort Bermuda. Before it was Hamilton Prince and The Loren. Check-in was a bit slow, we waited about 30 minutes at the lobby. But the staff was friendly and offered us welcome drinks. The wait was fine, taking some photos of the beautiful beach and sea. Check-in itself was swift and professional. We booked the Residence part of the hotel, Gate's Bay to be precise. 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths layout. The rooms were quite sizable and seemed pretty new. The decor and furnishing were functional elegance, not overly done and appropriate motif for an upsacle island atomsphere. The rooms were very clean, beds, towels, robes and all the kitchen counter, tables and bathroom surfaces. The complimentary environmentally friendly water and nespresso sets were great. Overall the staff here, from doorman to lobby staff to front desk to concierge were friendly and professional. They made us felt welcomed. The Five Forts Golf Course is part of the hotel, so it was very convenient to book and play a round. Location wise, this resort is a bit far from Hamilton or other more touristy parts of town; about $80-90 taxi ride. Now, here is a few improvement suggestions: 1. The so called butler service could be better. I called a few days prior to our arrival to book a tee time. The person said I had to email/call the pro shop directly. Not sure why can't she help with the booking, which shouldn't be a difficult request. 2. The hallway and our rooms at the Residence had a strange but persistent odor, not sure if it was paint smell, mildew or something wet. But it was there every time we entered the lobby and then our rooms.
Our stay at the St. Regis was amazing! The staff and service were excellent. The food on property was better than any restaurant we tried off-property. The breakfast buffet was great with so many options. They were able to accommodate gluten free for every meal. Afternoon tea is a must try. The staff was able to assist in booking many of our activities around the island.
We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at the St Regis. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach facing room was nice. Walk in through the bathroom to the bedroom and then out onto the balcony. The curtains completely darken the room which is nice. HVAC worked well. Bed was extremely comfortable. And the shower was great. Nice and hot with great water pressure. The beach access was easy to get to. There were always plenty of towels and chairs available under an umbrella. Two pools were nice to have- one for kids, the other for adults only. There’s another hot tub outside of the spa which offers more of a private setting. The gym was well appointed with plenty of cardio machines, strength training equipment, free weights and a great pull-up rack. Plenty of water and towels in the gym. The hotel is only about 15 minutes from St George which makes walking into town super easy to hit a local spot for breakfast or lunch, etc… Don’t miss the complimentary Cava on the balcony at 6pm when they sabre a bottle. This was a very nice property and I would gladly return on my next stay to Bermuda. Excellent experience. Regarding The Bar, we enjoyed dinner here a few nights during our stay. It’s very relaxed and has plenty of options for snacks and dining. Jerk seasoned-nuts and gherkins with your drinks is a nice touch. We enjoyed an assortment of small plates the few times we ate dinner here- chicken meatballs, jerk chicken tacos, Korean wings, croque monsieur, dumplings… all delicious. The servers are all genuinely friendly and helpful. We also attended the rum tasting which was fun and informative.
