St Croix Private Airport Pick Up

First off - it was not a “private” charter because other people were with us in the pickup van when we finally found it. I specifically asked beforehand what to look for to find this company & they had communicated to me there would be someone with their company shirt & a sign. None of that happened. In fact, I asked several vans & people & my friend had to call them to find out where they were. Which was sitting in restricted spots obviously, because the airport security was asking them to leave being parked in an unauthorized area. I would definitely NOT suggest this company for anything else in the future

I could never say enough good things about Great Explorations! Our flight was diverted and significantly delayed, yet our pickup was seamless and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Our driver, Steve, was fantastic and transported us quickly and safely to our resort. I will be using this vendor when I return to St. Croix!

Once we were picked up we sat in the van for at least 30 minutes waiting on other passengers to show up who never did. According to the title, it is a private airport pickup so a little confused on why we would pay $150. The driver was very nice.

The service was prompt and professional. Our driver,Owen, was friendly and pleasant. He answered all our questions.

Owen was on time, knowledgeable about the area & super friendly. Our drive to the resort was very entertaining!

Mr. Joseph was our driver and he was kind and gave a quick history of the sites on the way to our hotel and gave us tips about using our manners on the island. Manners go a long way with the locals. Overall great experience.

Even with our slight miscommunication (our fault) Mr. Joseph was delighted to pick us up and get us to our resort. Otw he told us important history about the island.

Mr Joseph picked us up. He was flexible and worked around the airline delays. On the drive he provided some history of the island.

Everything went like clockwork! The driver was waiting for me with a sign, and we got to our hotel with no hassle at all.

No problem with this service. Mr. Owen picked us up at airport and took us to hotel. Mr. Henry picked us up right on time for the return trip to airport. Only issue was Mr. Henry's car had no working AC and we were under heat advisory that day (one very warm to hot ride).

Our driver, Joseph was waiting for us when we arrived. He was a safe driver and very friendly. He gave us a history lesson on the way to our destination.

Loved Christiansted. Great restaurants. Fun boardwalk. You could probably get by w/o a car. We rented a car and are very glad we upgraded to a Jeep as the roads were potholed. The entire island is within a 1 hour drive. Stayed at the Buccaneer which was outstanding. Meals were a little pricey but delicious. Liked Frederiksted. Too touristy with the cruise ship there. People were amazing everywhere we went.

We had a wonderful experience. Our driver, Joseph, was waiting for when we arrived at the airport. He gave us some great restaurant recommendations.He also pointed out local landmarks and told us a lot about St .Croix history.

The driver was On Time. Everyone we encountered before the arrival and during the pickup was Friendly. I contacted the company before the journey to make a last minute change they were very Helpful. Professional Service I will refer to all my Memoir Travels and Events clients.

After waiting 1 hour upon arrival at the airport, I called the phone number provided. The local driver had no awareness of our arrival, but courteously arranged transport at no extra cost. Not sure where the breakdown in communication occurred. However I have a refund for the second half of our trip with no success. I have no faith that we have a return trip to the airport, so I will now be contacting our credit card company. Be aware, do not book through Viator. Book directly with local companies.

Enjoyable ride. Very informative and friendly driver. I will be booking again. Love the history that was provided while looking at the beautiful landscape.

Joseph was great! He gave information and history on the island for the whole drive to our hotel! He also gave restaurant recommendations as well which was really helpful! The van was nice with good A/C. Thanks Joseph!

We called and texted several times that we were waiting at the airport. No one ever showed up. We were the only ones left at the airport at midnight in a country we had never been to. After an hour an independent taxi driver stopped and we went with him for the fear being left at the airport all night. Most terrifying ride of my life. Do not use this service all they do is lie and not show up!!!!

We appreciated Joseph greeting us with a sign at luggage claim and providing a stressless and informative transfer to our hotel. When we unexpectedly had to cut our time in St. Croix short, Joseph provided on-time return to the airport. We definitely recommend this service.

They were on time and very friendly. The driver gave us great suggestions for what to on the island and where to eat. All good!!

Vernon was waiting for us even after our flight was delayed until very late with plenty of room for all our bags.

Very prompt - good communications prior to shuttle. Driver arrived 15 minutes early so no problem being late.. Highly recommend!
