Farm To Bottle Tour At Prosperity Farm Distillery

We booked this as a cruise excursion and we’re not disappointed! The 2.5 hour tour included a tour of the “big house”, of all the distillery operations, and we had a tasting of each of the six spirits made here. It’s also a working farm to provide local produce to the island but that is still a growing operation. The guide and all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the price was a great value, and there was no big sales push at the end - I would highly recommend!

Had a great experience today at Prosperity Distillery! Layla and Mark were great hosts. If you go, you want to meet Blushie, the lady who makes the magic happen. She is the distiller and flavor guru. If she’s got some guava flavored liquor stowed away in her frig, pray she shares it with you! The tasting after the tour was fun. If you like spicy the ginger will be a hit. Loved it. Believe the cruise lines offer this as an excursion. Booking direct was a breeze. Note to the decision makers, when the guava is in season, jump all over that flavor!!! Thanks to the whole crew.

This was so cool to see a farm that takes so much consideration into how their alcohol is made. The tour of the beautiful facility, with our amazing tour guide, was a real highlight to see before we sat down to taste. The tasting room is so nice and we enjoyed the lore behind each tasting. Ended with their espresso martini and a short drive to rainbow beach. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

This place is awesome! The staff is all so fun and friendly. The product is Delicious! We stumbled upon this off a cruise ship and I highly recommend! They had Delicious mockcocktails for the kids too. The farm is beautiful. Can't say enough good things.

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend it to others visiting St. Croix. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The weather was beautiful, the property itself is gorgeous, and the tastings were excellent. We received six samples plus two cocktails, which made it feel like a great value for the experience. This was one of our favorite activities of the trip and we'd absolutely do it again.

We had a beautiful time on our farm tour! Our guide Vee was very knowledgeable about the farm and its history. We were able to look at some items left behind from the original families which was very interesting. Our included cocktails were delicious. Highly recommend this to spend a morning!

Fantastic staff answered all the questions like the historical part about the location as well as the tour. Tasting was fantastic and they took time to let me ask my annoying questions to the distillery master! Very good vibe.

Prosperity Farm Distillery is a must to visit when in St. Croix. It is gorgeous , natural , welcoming , and full of history. There is a woman distiller which was amazing to see. Erin & Khalil are AMAZING!! Full of knowledge , professional but still make you feel like you stopped at some friends for a chat & refreshing flavorful cocktails. Post tour we bought a few bottles to take home, and the next day we went back to just have cocktails. The distillery is righteously named… Prosperity.

When you arrive, the first thing you notice is that this venue is trying very hard to be super upscale and they fall very short and just appear pretentious and unfinished. All of their items on display or for sale feature St Thomas, not St Croix, which should have been another red flag. Then, listening to very self important, self centered speech given to others, I was done and left. If you want to participate and support the gentrification of this beautiful island to the detriment of the amazing people that live there, go, I'm sure you'll love it. But, if you prefer supporting actual local communities, visit the local farmers markets instead, you'll do more for the community and will meet far more interesting people.

Excellent experience, educational, informative and we had a great time tasting different liqueurs. Ginger liqueur and Banana liqueur were the best.

This was such a fun time! Prosperity has such rich wonderful history and an inviting atmosphere. Akevee was an amazing instructor. We had a such a fun time in his mixology class & he was able to give us recommendations for things to do after we left. Will definitely be back in the future!

Fantastic mixology class with Akyve! Lots of tricks of the trade and fabulous cocktails! Started the class with a great tour of the grounds - the young woman who gave the tour was informative, engaged, and responsive. I cannot recommend this enough. Beautiful grounds, great story, amazing stafff!

This tour was so fun and informative. We ended up getting our own tour, but V, the guide didn’t let that stop us from getting the full experience. The history, the property, and the people were fantastic. Our bartender, Erin was also amazing. I highly recommend booking it!

Prosperity Farm is a local distillery, not of rum, but of gin and liqueur. Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the farm and the process. We had the pleasure of being in a small group, since there was no cruise ship in port. Their methods are sustainable and their products are very tasty. When you come to St. Croix, definitely make your way here!

The tour wasnt overly long, but just right. Got alot of history, science about the distillery. The staff was great.

A local recommended this farm to bottle distillery tour and I’m so glad we booked it. We expected to spend a half an hour or so and stayed for two. We were fascinated by the restoration of the property and learned the history, agriculture and owners. The tastes and drinks were so good and the staff there is a ton of fun!

A must stop for so many reasons! Quality tour that speaks to the history of the island, agricultural methods, building and restoration, distilling,etc. You will not be disappointed.

The tour was amazing! Mark was our guide and he was so kind and accommodating!Our guide provided a lot of history of the island! He was thoroughly versed on the distilling process and the growing of sugar cane! Really enjoyed it! Gorgeous place!

The tour was very educational. The photos inside the plantation house were interesting, showing the property transformation-and the flight tasting afterwards gave you a chance to taste all the different flavors they offer. Everything was clean and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

We stopped into Prosperity Farm Distillery and did a tasting with Mark! We came in without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. We had a great time chatting with Mark and learning about the Distillery. Highly recommend checking it out. Very beautiful place and land.

Very cool experience - locally made gin and liqueur (Try the banana!). NOTE: They do not make rum, due to local laws. Our tour guide Amaren (Spelling?) was very knowledgeable and personable - good history of the plantation, and also the overall history of St. Croix. My husband and I have done many wine tastings and this was different. Also, the before pictures in the social area/tasting area are amazing to see what a wreck/shambles the place was before being restored. It's a different experience, and highly recommend.

We loved everything about this hidden gem! The tour was very well done and the our friendly guide showed the process of making gin and other liquors. The renovation of the almost totally destroyed great home was skillfully executed with blending and preserving the old and new with fantastic construction with large glass windows, great lighting and a beautiful outdoor area for events and even a wedding was held here! We were able to see the process of making gin from harvesting and crushing of the cane, fermentation, and distillation. This is not a far ride from Fredericksted and a highlight for our vacation from Houston. Bottles of different flavored gins are available for purchase and we were given different samples of the liquors and Reasonably priced cocktails were crafted for our enjoyment! Even though this tour isn’t part of the official cruise excursions—thanks to some local bureaucracy—it is so worth seeking out. In fact, that makes it feel even more special, like you’ve discovered a true island secret. Khalil was phenomenal. His explanation of the distilling process, the rich history of the farm, and the story of the current owner, Bob, was not only informative but delivered with genuine passion. You can tell he really loves what he does, and it makes the experience unforgettable. And then Erin topped it all off with the most delicious pineapple cake—honestly one of the highlights of our trip! The entire visit felt warm, authentic, and filled with heart. The grounds are beautiful, the spirits were all fantastic, and the whole experience feels like a passion project brought to life. If you want something truly unique, educational, and welcoming, don’t miss Prosperity Farms Distillery. A five-star experience all around.

We had set up tours for the two commercial distilleries on the island - they were fun, but the raw materials are imported, and the finished product is created and bottled in the U.S. Prosperity Farm Distillery grows their own sugar cane and all processing, into the bottle, is down here on St. Croix, by hand. The folks that work here are wonderful nice and informative. We arrived past the last tour time, but they took us around anyway. This really is a must-do!

We had a cocktail and gin testing. We also had a short tour at the distillery. There’re plenty of sugar canes at the farm you can see. It was not busy when we when, just 4 people including us. You can hear about history of this place which is cool. We also came back that night for live jazz music. It was packed that night. It fells inclusive. I really like their spicy gin and cocktails. They have live jazz music on selected Fridays.

Me and my wife had a good time. The tour was awesome. The house was beautiful and the staff was also. I recommend this place to anyone. The cocktails were nice. We left with 3 bottles to bring back home

This was a great tour. The property is beautiful. We had a walking tour where they explained the history of the farm and distillery. Afterwards there was a tasting in the bar area. The rosemary lemonade was delicious.

I had a great afternoon brunching at the farm as a solo traveler. The staff was great! I was provided with options of places to go get food in town. The drinks were also delicious!

We truly enjoyed the tour and mixology class. The young man who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and loved his job, giving great history and information on the process of how the farm runs. We really enjoyed learning how to mix some fun drinks! Highly recommend!!

AMAZING! Very fun and unique time we had. They were very accommodating since our flight was pushed back to the day of our initial tour date. The history behind the farm and St. Croix itself was such an amazing piece of knowledge to take back home with us. Their crafted Spirits are absolutely delicious and so smooth, we had to take one home with us. Each and every drink we crafted was the best we’ve ever had and our instructor tried to make our experience as exclusive and enjoyable as possible. Every single employee was amazing and I would definitely recommend visiting (especially with their new renovation plans coming soon )

We took the distillery tour last week. We just followed the sign in from the road, walked in and looked around and found everyone amazingly friendly and helpful, so we ended up taking the tour and tasting some of the products. They were able to answer all of my weird questions about yeasts and fermentation conditions.
