The guide is very friendly who provided many information about Split. Definitely recommend to join!
Informative and entertaining. An excellent tour
Get your walking shoes ready and adventure back during barbarian days. See great pillars of ancient times of stone and deep tunnels. Touch the gold toe for luck and make a wish. Enjoy this trip with a great guide that was filled with much historical facts as well as hidden stories beyond years.
We really enjoyed our walking tour of Split and the Diocletion's Palace. Our guide was funny, informative and answered all questions really well. Our guide told us about the history of Split with lots of really interesting facts.
Our walking tour was amazing. Lots of great history, architecture and art, and a great introduction to the city of Split overall. Our guide Magdalena was outstanding, and her food and dining recommendations were spot-on.
Our guide Marino was excellent. He was very engaging, funny, and educational. It gave us a great background understanding of the palace and old town. I highly recommend this tour!
The tour was great! Not too long, not too short, and the guide was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot in a short period of time. Highly recommend.
Historic information was integrated well into tour sites. We were surprised that some portions of the palace were not included in the tour.
Mili was an excellent tour guide. It was complete with history & humour. At 90 minutes, this was the prefect length to gain an understanding of ancient Croatia, the legacy of the Romans, the French influence and the establishment of modern Split. Highly recommend.
Excellent tour! Very informative! Marino was great. Knowledgeable and funny too! Learned so much about this beautiful place. Great to do on our first day to get to know area and history. Priced very well! Worth it! Don’t hesitate to book! So glad we did!
Interesting and informative walking tour, with time to take photos along the way. We booked on a whim a couple of hours beforehand as we wanted to know more about the history of Split after enjoying strolling around independently.
A great way to learn a little about the history of all things you are looking at and wondering about. Guide was very informative .
Our guide Anton - Hands down the best walking tour guide we’ve ever had all across Europe Deep knowledge, highly interactive and high energy. Very highly recommended and appreciated! - Thank you Anton!
We booked this last minute as our previous booking got cancelled unfortunately. Marino was a great guide. The tour was very informative and good fun too. Marino answered all the questions asked and was very happy showing us extra bits in the tour.
Great experience! Our guide was very informative, spoke clearly, and was easily understood. Very helpful to get the story behind the walls of Diocletian’s Palace. Highly recommend.
An excellent experience. From the greeter lady in yellow who was very enthusiastic and friendly to our excellent well informed and very educated and well spoken guide we were very impressed. And we only had 5 in our group which is a bonus. Watch out for the slick stone steps- one of our group took a tumble!
Very informative and interesting first time exposure to the palace history. Would recommend to all new visitors.
Easy to find. Informative and entertaining. Just the right amount of detail. Our guide was very good and engaged with all the group.
Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable
Josko was fantastic! He knew where to take us to avoid crowds and stay in the shade 🤩 He was very informative and friendly and provided a very enjoyable experience!!!
The walking tour was Very informative, the guide spoke excellent English. She answered all questions the group had.
We had a short tour of Diocletian palace area. It was perfect.
Wonderful tour. Our guide , Marino, was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Marino went the extra mile, not only supremely knowledgeable but hugely entertaining and funny and personable. Best guided tour of my life and I've done dozens!
An amazing engaging, funny and informative small time intimate tour. Would 100% recommend! It felt distinctly different from the larger tours we saw.
Maggie, our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable.
Great job ! Well worth the money
This is a very personal and informative tour by a scholar and professor, who knows more about the Diocletian Palace of Split than probably anyone in the universe. Professor Vedran Mastosic is amazing, fun and approachable as he led us through this amazing city in the walls at this ancient palace and Fortress. He actually also has a book for sale at the end which I highly recommend. If you can also visit the ruins of solana afterwards. Five stars.
Great information delivered in a fun way! Saw all the areas around the palace Marino was fantastic x
I found this tour historically interesting and if you were looking for something to do that is short in time, I would suggest this. Our tour guide was easy to find amongst all the other tours happening, which was nice Naissan. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just a heads up there are several areas of the palace that we did not get to see because you have to pay a fee and do it on your own. That was a little annoying, but otherwise it was interesting to hear about the history of the palace and city. It was a perfect amount of time one suggestion if you are coming to split make sure you take a ferry over to Brad Island, which is only about 20 minutes away. I wish I would have known ahead of time because I would’ve loved to stay overnight there. It’s not to be missed even if you just go for a few hours like we did. Very easy to book a ferry the day of.
A succinct tour of Diocletian’s palace and bits of old town with a phd historian. It’s great way to orient yourself with the city
Really informative tour, I would recommend.
Doris and Magdalena were exceptionally good and provided us with an excellent tour. Informative we woukd highly recommend
This was a fantastic private tour of Split. Our group would highly recommend it. The other tours we saw all had headsets and there were at least 30+ per group. We had our questions answered and saw everything easily.
Marino was a great! I learned a ton about Split during the tour. Very interesting and engaging
We had a great tour with Magdalena, she was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Really enjoyed learning about Split’s history from her.
We had a fantastic tour. Our guide, Mario, was extremely knowledgeable and also very helpful, friendly and experienced. The lady who sold us the tour, also provided great advice on where to eat. Thank you both!
A must do when in Split! So much history. Our tour guide Nicholas was the best. He was funny and very knowledgeable.
Really great experience with a lovely guide who knew her stuff. Really enjoyed the tour and let us have a idea of where to go in Split
Maggie was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke loudly and answered all questions. The palace is a great living monument.
Our guide Magdalena was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the palace and Split. We learned a lot from her.
Utterly brilliant! A superb guide to a fascinating city… We loved it!
Marco was a fantastic tour guide. Very informative and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this tour if you are ever in Split, you won’t be disappointed!!
Superb tour with Magdalena (Maggie) - highly informative historical and recent history - clearly a great passion for what she does and local. Was a great 90 minutes.
Really great intro to the city - we had a good guide who was knowledgeable and efficient and loved her home city
Marino the best guide!!! We learned a lot. We recommend it 100%!!
Great experience! Marino gave us a very comprehensive tour with lots of information.
Excellent information. Marino was excellent and gave us fabulous information . Afternoon well spent. Thankyou
The Split tour was a bit underwhelming. While the guide was friendly, we didn’t find the tour particularly engaging, and it was difficult to keep the kids’ attention. We felt there was an opportunity to make the experience more interactive and interesting. By comparison, we had a much more enjoyable tour in Dubrovnik the following day.
