Don't book as they cancel last minute. Said that it was due to weather.....it was 33 degrees and sunny! Got a message when I queried to say that the guide was not well. O understand sickness can happen but surely there needs to be a back up guide to take over the tour. As we were only in Trogir for 1 night we did not have the opportunity to reschedule. We did a self guided audio walking tour instead.

This 13th-century cathedral is the most famous landmark in Trogir. It features an impressive Romanesque portal carved by Master Radovan and offers panoramic views from its bell tower.
Built in the 15th century by the Venetians, this seaside fortress once defended the town. It offers fantastic views over the Adriatic Sea and the old town from its walls.
Located just across from the cathedral, this palace belonged to the noble Cipiko family. Its Gothic and Renaissance details reflect the wealth and influence of the family during the 15th century
The North Gate marks the main entrance to the old town. Walking through it, you can still see parts of the ancient city walls that once protected Trogir from invaders and much more.
he Radovan’s Portal is the most famous and artistically important monument in Trogir. Carved in 1240 by Master Radovan, it is considered a masterpiece of Romanesque sculpture in Croatia.
The Church of St. Sebastian is a small but important Renaissance monument located in the heart of Trogir’s main square. It was built in the 15th century as a vow by the citizens of Trogir in gratitude for the end of a devastating plague, as St. Sebastian is the patron saint invoked for protection against plague and disease.
The Central Square of Trogir, officially known as John Paul II Square, is the historic and social heart of the town. Surrounded by some of Trogir’s most important monuments, the square has been the center of public life for centuries.
The Town Hall (Loggia) of Trogir is one of the most important civic monuments in the town, located on Trogir’s main square. Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, it served as a public meeting place where citizens gathered for announcements, ceremonies, and everyday communal life.

Mihaela was a delightful tour guide. She taught us all about Trogir, and some facts about Croatia that were new to our group. Trogir itself is a beautiful island city. I highly recommend this tour.
Daniella was great. She incorporated her and her family experience into the tour which gave it a special touch. She was also very accommodating to my wife, finding a place to sit whenever possible as she has trouble standing in place for too long.
A brilliantly fun and informative tour with Daniela! We enjoyed not only discovering some of the history of Trogir but also some fascinating insights into life in Croatia: would definitely recommend!
Our guide was great. Full of energy and charming and funny. We learnt lots about the city, the architecture and the customs and history. Thank you.
What a wonderful and beautiful experience! Daniela was the wonderful guide through Split and then along the drive to family home. Our sweet hostess, her grandmother, provided a delicious meal with wine, cheese, prosciutto and bread. Alas the main dish: Peka. So tasty. Many thanks from both of us.
Amazing!!!! Words cannot describe the view and image of eye of the world, being with Danielle’s family was by far the ultimate highlight of our trip. They were so friendly and amazing!
I had an absolutely wonderful opportunity to go on a trip guided by Daniela. I can warmly recommend you if you are looking for a way outside of tourism to see and experience authentic Croatian life and culture. We traveled to earth eye, which was amazingly beautiful, on the way we admired a few sights and had a picnic. Daniela is a knowledgeable and friendly. I warmly recommend 😍😍😍
Enjoyed this tour in February of 2023 and of course had to experience it again. This time my mom came to Croatia and was really wanting to meet D and Baba. Our experience was so heartwarming to be back again. It was like being with family!
Authentic Croatian experience with Daniela and Baba Anna! No matter what else you do on your trip, this is guaranteed to be a highlight and the most memorable experience of your holiday. The food, setting, and of course, the family, make this a can’t miss experience.
My mother and I had an amazing day with Daniela. She treated us like family sharing information about Croatia with her personal experiences. Meeting her grandparents was something you will not experience on any other tour and something extremely special. We were lucky enough that our hotel mentioned this tour as our trip would have been lacking without it. This is a must if you want to see the true Croatia.
The most amazing tour ever. Daniela made us feel like family. She not only shared her incredible knowledge of Croatia but shared her incredible family and Grandmother Ana.
I HIGHLY recommend this trip. Daniella is warm, bubbly, informative and a joy. Everyone we encountered on this trip had the same light as her. Meeting her family was an absolute pleasure and honor. I learned so much and the food is STUPENDOUS. If I make it back to Croatia I’ll definitely book again. Hvala Daniella
BEST TOUR EVER! The family was so genuine and did so much to make our day amazing! They took us to the eye of the earth, hosted a picnic for us, then we got a homemade lunch afterwards! It was an amazing time and worth every penny and more.
Daniela is AMAZING and incredibly knowledgeable! This tour is well organized and every part of it held a unique experience only she could offer. The tour at Baba Ana’s home was my favorite part! Everything was traditional to Croatian culture and the food and wine will leave you speechless. I am looking forward to booking this tour again on our next visit! Hvala D, Matej, and Baba Ana! Volim te!
We had the best day ever! We can’t recommend this tour enough! It was pouring rain the entire day but that didn’t stop us from enjoying this incredible experience. Daniela and her family are so welcoming and made us feel like a part of the family. We got to enjoy homemade food and wine, everything was so delicious. We can’t wait to come back!
An unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. I urge everyone to do this tour. From the van ride where Daniela provides you with the history of the area (and snacks!) to meeting Baba Ana herself, you will not be able to wipe the small off your face. Baba Anna welcomes you into her home and she and Daniela make you feel like part of the family. The food, wine, and coffee were incredible. We did this tour despite cold, rainy weather and it was perfect. Daniela is working to grow this tour and I have no doubt she will succeed. If you want a unique experience that truly captivates Croatian history and lifestyle, this tour is a must. Can’t wait to see Daniela and family next time I’m in Croatia!
5 of us went on the trip and had an amazing time. Daniella the host was super friendly and told us some great facts on the way to the eye of the earth. The eye of the earth was a lovely spot and we were provided with a great picnic to have whilst next to a must see landmark. The highlight of the trip was going to Daniella's grandma Ana's house. We were treated amazingly with an asortment of alcohol, food and hospitality. 100% a 5 star trip and would recommend to anyone coming over to croatia.
It was the best excursion we did during our holidays in Croatia. Danijela is an amazing guide who will tell you about the local history but also make you laugh. We started with a picnic at the Eye of the Earth and then continued to Danijela’s grandma’s place in a local village. Baba Ana, the grandma, welcomed us like a family. We tried delicious home-made rakija, wine and local pastries. If you don’t like mass tourism you should definately go for it. It was an unique experience!
It has been a great experience and we fully recommend it if you want to learn more about dalmatian culture, food and humor.
Daniela, the tourguide, has a great sense of humor. At the eye of earth she arranged a picnic with love. The highlight is her lovely grandmother with her excellent homemade food and wine. Its a privat tour with a local family which let you know their traditions.
The whole tour was rich in interesting facts, sights and delicious local food that contributed to a better understanding of Dalmatia and Croatia overall. Cetina river source was unique and something that should not be overlooked while visiting Croatia, but the "cherry on the top" was definitely meeting with the family of our sweetest guide Daniela! We could feel like we were part of the family and especially her grandmother left such a warm feeling in our hearts! <3 We picked this tour because of the beautiful river spring and the wine tasting without expecting to experience something that we will probably treasure the most out of our trip in Dalmatia — a lovely and inclusive croatian family experience. It truly was a trip for all the senses and there were even moments where we felt like locals.
What a way to experience the countryside along with some warm, Croatian hospitality. The surrounding area of Sinj and the source of the Cetina river were breath-taking. On the way to the river source, we passed the most gorgeous landscapes--so green and beautiful. By the river, we had a little picnic and time to enjoy the unspoiled nature surrounding the source. We then went to Danijela's grandmother's house for an authentic regional dish called "soparnik" and some snacks on her shaded terrace, one of which was home-made pršut (prosciutto) which was honestly, the best I've ever had! She also had her own home-made wine which was delicious and she shared some incredible family stories with us. The family was so warm and welcoming, I really felt like I was part of it when I left. I highly recommend this experience because it's the perfect amount of sightseeing, relaxation and culture all into one. Thanks for introducing me to this stunning part of Croatia, Danijela!
Awesome tour!! really..one of the best experiences we had in Split!! Our guide Daniela put all her effort to tell us about the history of Croatia from a more personal point of view. The combination of beautiful nature, funny moments and delicious food and drinks made this tour very unique!! 100% recommended!! 👌
Awesome tour. The eye of the earth was amazing, but the hospitality of the family was even better. We felt really spoiled. Very authentic and personal tour. I definetely recommend. Daniela knows all about the history of the places we visited. We had a blast!
Daniele was amazing, I was so excited to go on this tour to get a drone video of the source, and the day that we were supposed to go it was raining. She was so nice and accommodating throughout the entire process and we ended up going the day after. From the moment we met up with her, she felt more like a friend showing your around than a tour guide, and I find that really important in a tour. After our great experience at the source, we were driven to her grandmothers house for another unforgettable experience. The outside terrace was beautiful with all the greenery and plants around us, and the food and wine were so tasty. I really felt apart of the family and I was sad for the tour to be over. I would 1000/100 recommend this tour! You will be gaining an experience that you will remember forever!!
The best tip I can give to people who are reading this. YOU MUST GO! Experience that you will get is priceless, seeing the river source, wine tasting and soparnik tasting and of course last but not least have opurtinty to meet with lovely and kind grandma Ana.Know a little bit about her life and real life of the locals is something that's sticks with your heart and you come back home with lifetime memory.
I would highly recommend this tour. It was without a doubt the best one I’ve ever been on. Daniela was so accommodating, kind and knowledgable. She went above and beyond to make this by far the best day of my trip. The eye of the earth was absolutely stunning and well worth seeing. The visit to her grandmas home was nothing short of wonderful and we could feel how passionate they both are about this tour. The food and wine that Ana made were all delicious and we were given the warmest welcome. We were told amazing stories from their lives and really got a feel for the authentic Croatian culture. A 10/10 experience!
My husband and I did this tour today and were totally blown away. The eye of the earth is absolutely amazing and a must visit. We were even treated to a picnic. But even better, was our quide Daniella and her assistant's Kristy and Anita. They were engaging, knowledgeable and fun.The visit to Daniella's grand mothers place was such an honor. We were treated to an amazing home style lunch with home made wines and all with the warmest welcome. A genuine Croatian experience. 10 out of 10.
This tour was by far the best day we have had in Croatia. Daniela made it so personal and special. The eye of the earth was stunning, but that was nothing compared to the experience that Daniela gave us. She made so much effort to create the most romantic picnic at the lake, and then gave us an insight into authentic Croatian life by introducing us to her family, especially her lovely Grandma Ana. We experienced lovely food and wine from Ana, and thoroughly enjoyed our time learning about Daniela’s amazing family. As someone who loves scenic backdrops, history and learning about other cultures, this was an experience that I will never forget. No other tour guide has done the job quite like Daniela, she is the loveliest, friendliest woman with stories and life experience that you won’t get anywhere else. BOOK THIS TOUR it is worth a lot more than what we paid for. Thankyou Daniela for making our trip so special. ❤️❤️❤️ Ps Rio is the cutest!!
I was at this tour with my friends this June, and it was the best decision ever. We couldn’t imagine that this part od Dalmatia is that good. And we had a great, great time with our best tourist guide Daniela and her grandma that showed us some product that was made with her own hands. We were amazed!
You can't buy memories but you can buy this fantastic tour if you want try real homemade croatian food and drinks this is the tour for you
Daniela was so accomodating as we were delayed. The amount of history she conveyed was great. The pace was easy so we were never rushed. She took time to convey some of personal experiences to enhance the experience. Highly recommended if you want to learn about Trogir.
If you are interested in local, intimate, travel experiences, this is for you. Daniela is fun guide full of interesting stories & historical facts about the area. Daniela picked us up in Split. We rode through countryside villages and towns and past historic sites as she shared historical and cultural stories about the area. The picnic at the source of the Cetina River was peaceful & absolutely picturesque. And if that wasn’t enough, meeting Grandma Ana & other family members at the family home was an absolutely endearing experience. The food was delicious. We felt like we were spending the day with friends out in the country.
Daniela is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide with an excellent sense of humour. It was a very hot day but she gave us plenty of time to rest or stand in the shade and took us around Togir at a pace we felt comfortable with. Her facts about Togir were really interesting and I recommend her to anyone looking to find out more about this beautiful place.
I would do it again 100 times... she very sweet and kind then the Welcoming had by her family is an emotion that I will never forget.
