We had a great experience with our driver Kruno! He arrived to our hotel in Split early and helped us with our luggage. On the drive from Split to Mostar, he was so much fun to chat with. His English is incredible and he was very warm, knowledgeable and interesting. Our whole family enjoyed his company! Mostar was a really interesting and beautiful town and we had a great tour with Sandra. The recommendation she gave us for lunch was delicious! The drive from Mostar to Ston to Dubrovnik was straightforward and we continued enjoying and learning from our amazing driver, Kruno! Five Stars all around!

We had a fantastic trip. Our local tour guide Drazen was so friendly and a great conversationalist! He provided us with stories about all the local areas as we passed them and gave background history of the countries and cities we visited. The minibus we took was very clean and the aircon was perfect for the long journey. The coastal roads we took on the way to Dubrovnik offered some incredible views. I am very happy that we decided to get a private guide instead of renting a car as I would have missed alot of the scenery and had to manage the border crossing myself.

Tommy took scenic routes and tailored the day to our interests adding some stops so we could make the most of our day. He even haggled with a shop person to try to get us a deal on things we purchased. We appreciated what he had to share about where we visited and what we saw. Thoroughly enjoyed this day.

We were looking at a way to get from Split to Dubrovnik but there didn't seem to be many public transportation options. We booked this transfer because we thought that it made the most sense and allowed us to cross off another country off of our list. Our driver, Matko, was fantastic. Super personable, a great driver and was able to point out the best spots (food, photos, shopping) while we were in Mopar. It made the long drive not seem so long. I would highly recommend this and only wish that they were available in other countries so we could do trips with them again and again.

We booked a custom private tour of Croatia for May/June of this year and everything was as presented, on time, and we had fantastic guides, drivers, tours and destinations! Our Driver was on time, very helpful and gave great information. She made sure we were comfortable in the car. We had 2 hours which was plenty of time for us to eat, shop and was able to see the jumpers off of the bridge. I wish I could remember her name! I highly recommend this trip!

I am so glad I found Croatia Private Tours! The booking process online was easy and communication before our transfer was good. Ivan, our guide, showed up on time in a spotless car and he had water for us. He even stopped for coffee for us and paid. Ivan was informative and pleasant to chat with on the drive from Dubrovnik to Split with a couple of stops in Bosnia-Herzegovina. We felt safe with Ivan taking us through Bosnia and watching our belongings as we explored. He also gave us some tips on avoiding pick pockets. Ivan also gave us recommendations for places to go to in Split. I cannot recommend Croatia Private Tours enough. They are fantastic!

Lovely drive through to Dubrovnik driver was on time and extremely helpful. We stopped in Ston for lunch and were lucky enough to hear a singer playing local songs with an accordian.

We booked a tour with Croatia Private tours from Split to Dubrovnik. Our driver, Božo picked us up and loaded our 4 heavy suitcases into the car, made sure we were comfortable and offered us bottled water. Our first stop was Mostar, Bosnia. Božo took us to Old Town, gave us some tips on what to see and met us at the designated spot after our walking tour. He then drove us to Blagaj, but it was so hot, 41 degrees Celsius (106 Fahrenheit) that we decided we wanted to stay in the car. Božo drove us around the town and down to the river so that we at least got an idea of what the town was like. He then headed to Dubrovnik. Božo is a safe driver, the car was comfortable and clean but most of all, Božo was so knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and Bosnia, that we learned a lot. Not only that, Božo is so friendly and personable, that my husband and I want to adopt him and his family! We had a wonderful day and we highly recommend Croatia Private Tours and Božo.

Matko was absolutely brilliant all day. He arrived early and made everything so comfortable. His recommendations in Mostar were excellent and really enhanced our time there We will definitely book a similar transfer again. We are a small-group travel company and use private transfers and private excursion companies all the time. We have never found a better company than this. Matko picked us up at our hotel and walked us into the old town area of Mostar. He explained the history of the area which was not that long ago. As two single women traveling in an unknown country, he made us feel safe. From there we walked to the end of the old town area and he left us to shop and lunch on our own. You can buy beautiful art made from the remnants of war. So apropos for this time and place so close to Ukraine. Once we returned, our drive to Dubrovnik was again smooth and pleasant.

Totally concur with other reviewers - Matko (aka "Matt"), our driver, was awesome. Driving us skillfully from Zagreb to Plitvice (with a stop at scenic Rastoke), then Plitvice to Mostar and from Mostar to Dubrovnik the following day (with a stop at Mali Ston for a delicious seafood meal). Throughout our 2 days, Matt was friendly, cheerful and helpful, giving us tips on what to do, what to see. He even dropped by at our hotel to see if we were all right, and helped us communicate with the waiter who was taking our orders for dinner. When nearing Dubrovnik, he told us when to get our camera ready to capture the best scene along the route. Their rates were absolutely reasonable, for the level of service and professionalism rendered. Will certainly recommend them (especially Matt!) to all our friends who wish to visit Croatia. If I had known beforehand what seamless, first-rate service this tour agency offered, I would have booked them for my entire Croatian trip. Our driver/guide for our private transfer from Split to Dubrovnik with stops at Mostar, Medjugorje and Stone was Josip. And he was fantastic! Josip was kind, friendly and accommodating. Josip Kuran treated us to a most enjoyable journey from Split to Dubrovnik with a stopover in beautiful Mostar Bosnia. Josip was very prompt, friendly, professional and accomodating. He is a very safe driver with a really nice, comfortable Mercedes van. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury as we were escorted on our relaxing adventure. Josip even treated us to a delicious fresh baked local pie which we really enjoyed. He shared lots of interesting history with us along with points of interest along the way. We just returned from an unforgettable trip to Slovenia and Croatia, during which we used Croatia Private Tours to make two different transfer-tours with our excellent driver and guide, Damir. The first was a trip from Rovinj to Split via the Plitvice Lakes. Damir picked my wife and I up in a very comfortable Mercedes sedan (the company also has a Mercedes van for larger groups). He was punctual and incredibly professional. His English was excellent (he also speaks fluent Spanish and has conducted many tours with guests from South America), and from the outset he manifested his goal of treating all his clients as VIPs. Having driven over 12 hours with him, we can say he is an exceptionally professional and safe driver--he navigated even backroads with the surety of someone who has driven in this area for years. At Plitvice Lakes, he dropped us off and gave us detailed instructions for how we could see the highlights of the lake in 2-3 hours. Beyond just a driver, he was also an exceptional ambassador of Croatian history and culture, answering all of our questions about the troubled recent history of Croatia (he actually served as a soldier during the Homeland Wars) and his hopes for the future with a refreshing honesty. Throughout our time with Damir, he took us to hand-selected restaurants that he thought were the "best", and they were uniformly delicious. On our second trip with Damir, we travelled from Split to Dubrovnik via Mostar. Again, he navigated even the complicated border crossings (3 times back and forth from Croatia to Bosnia!) with aplomb. In Mostar, he again gave us precise instructions for how we could make the most of a short 2 hour stay there, even telling us which was his favorite shop for trying Turkish Coffee! After Mostar, he took us to a winery and to Ston, where we dined on fresh oysters. All in all, it was an absolutely fantastic trip both days thanks to Damir and Croatia Private Tours! Although we certainly could have rented a car, it would have been incredibly challenging given all the road construction that happens in Croatia (which Damir excellently navigated around) and the complications around all the border crossings. We were very glad we decided to have a private guide/driver, and we can highly recommend Private Tours Croatia for those looking for bespoke travel experiences in this region!

We had such professional, courteous service from our guy (Demjan/ Damien) (sorry about the mispelling) Perfect timing, had a wine tour (fantastic) and lunch in Mali Ston with fish so fresh...absolutely amazing. I would recommend them for ANY transfer in and around Croatia. These guys know where to go and take care of you and your family. Worth every penny!

I did a private transfer and tour from split to Dubrovnik with Ante and it was awesome. Timing was perfect and Ante customized the trip for my timing and interests as we were driving. He gave me all the normal stops and then added in a couple that he knew and one I saw photos of and wanted to see but he hadn’t been. He got directions and we adventured to the new location. It’s hard to find tours that customizable on the fly so it was awesome. Ante was also easy going and great to talk to, which is important for 5 hours in a car. There’s so much to see on this trip I would definitely do it again.

Touring three countries in five days was no easy feat but these guys were fabulous. There were ten of us, first timers to this part of the world and we wanted to better understand the history and connectivity of the region. What better way to accomplish this than to hire a 12 person van and get a sense of the local flavor than tour the countryside and walk the streets in cities. We were based out of Dubrovnik and made day trips over five days to Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia. Our drivers knew the areas well, shared details of history and local flavor, guided us to great restaurants, coordinated our tours with local guides and did all of the driving. My family and I organized a private transfer from Split to Dubrovnik with a stop in Mostar (Bosnia) through Croatia Private Tours. I had looked around and had also asked my hotel for a quote for such a transfer and Croatia Private Tours offered the best value for money. Right away Hrvoje was in touch with me and we organized everything quickly over email. upon arriving in Croatia, he gave me his phone number so we could communicate via Whatsapp. Damir, our driver, was prompt and incredibly forthcoming and open in sharing with us about his experiences during the Bosnian War, as well as everyday information about the life, culture and history of Croatia. Because of the recommendation to start the day off early, we got to Mostar right in time before the major tours came by and pretty much had the town to ourselves. Damir also gave us fantastic recommendations for coffee in Mostar, as well as where to get the best pictures. On our way out of Mostar to Dubrovnik, we stopped at a local homemade grill restaurant where Damir helped us order the most delicious mixed plate. Highly recommend. We made it to Dubrovnik on time and with minimal waits at the border as well. Would definitely book with Croatia Private Tours again. They are professional, prompt, and most importantly, safe and personable.

He helped find our lodging in Dubrovnik & also helped us book a tour in Dubrovnik for the next day - he went above & beyond!
