My family had a FABULOUS day with Goran, exploring more of Croatia (beautiful Krka and an absolutely lovely winery!) and learning about its history, culture, and anything else we could possibly want to know from Goran. He was probably the kindest, most knowledgeable and interesting person we’ve ever met during our travels!! He entertained us all day and we felt like we made a true friend, it was truly sad to say goodbye at the end of the amazing day! He catered the entire day perfectly to our energy levels and interests. THIS is the way to see Krka. Worth the price 1000 times over. Worth it just to spend the day with Goran, honestly! I could not recommend this more highly. Thank you, Goran!! We hope to see you again during our inevitable next trip to Croatia!!

My wife and I visited Croatia for our honeymoon and we had the pleasure of going on a tour of Krka National Park and a local winery with our tour guide, Goran! The tour was absolutely wonderful and Goran had all the history and inside knowledge to make it even more special. He was more than a tour guide as he knew what the local history was but also the information that people really want to know when coming to Split for holiday. He also was a great photographer and knew where to take all the good pics!
Goran was great! The waterfalls were lovely as was the winery!
Wonderful day trip, Goram was very knowledgeable, eager to communicate and share the region’s history, and take great pictures of your group!
Beautiful scenery and excellent organization. Our guide was amazing and made everything fun and easy. Loved the wine tasting. Great wines and local snacks!
Amazing trip! The waterfalls were beautiful and our guide was fantastic — friendly, funny, and full of great stories. The wine tasting at the end was the perfect finish to the day.
I wish I could give zero stars. We booked this trip months in advance, and it was confirmed through multiple emails. When we arrived at the port, there was no guide with our name or the name of the company to be found. I telephoned the company, who first said "Why did you walk past the guides?". To which I replied, "there were 50 of of them, and none for us". Then she said the guide was there. Then she said, "Oh, I though you were on the foodie tour". When I told her we were on the waterfall tour, she said "oh yes, a party of 8". To which I replied there were 4 of us. Then she said she had no record of it. I sent her the string of emails and she finally admitted she had made a mistake. But there is no excuse for that. There are dozens of good tour companies in Split. Pick a different one!
Our group had a nice time, but I do not believe you need a guide to visit Krka National Park, which is beautiful. Most tours like this one require you to buy your own ticket into the park and you do the hike on your own so the guide’s primary role is transportation. Note that swimming in the water by the falls is prohibited although a couple of photos posted on the site infer otherwise.
Goran was an amazing tour guide. Excellent driver who was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the region! He knew how we should bypass crowds and get the most out of seeing the national park. We loved how proud he was about his country and his beloved family!
Goran was a great guide and driver. Took us first by Klis castle then on to Krak waterfalls. Gave us a tour there then off to the wine and prosciutto tasting. Wonderful guide
Best overall experience available. Great tour of the park, the hike was incredible with wonderful views of the many waterfalls. Afterwards an intimate wine and cheese experience with a local vintner on the way back. Goran was engaging, very knowledgeable and easy to converse with. Highly recommended!!
We were greeted by our drivers just off our ship in port. They were on time, informative, courteous, funny & attentive to the needs of everyone in our group! The Krka Falls were absolutely stunning! Goran was an excellent tour guide! The winery & tasting was also fabulous. The wines were excellent & learning about the family & production was very interesting! The property was beautiful. If you are looking for a personalized tour, not on a bus with excellent guides, I would highly recommend this! Thank you for an awesome day in Croatia 🇭🇷
Our guide was wonderful. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took extra time to accommodate our elderly parents and their physical needs. He made the whole experience even better.
The tour never showed up. We were at the meeting location 10 minutes early. They didn’t answer our multiple phone calls, or messages.
The best experience! Tour guide Kristina was absolutely amazing and she told us all interesting facts about place. She was very nice and we really enyojed in her company.
Park was very pretty, but very crowded. We were led to believe from the description and photos that you could swim in/near the falls. But that was not true. Our guide was obnoxious and more focused on telling his “coming out” experience and working in comedy routines than being a guide. Wine tasting was ok, but lasted about 40 minutes. Don’t waste your time or money
Water fall and walk were wonderful. Was not the experience that I was expecting. The picture shows that you can swim in the water by falls and that is not the case. Our guide was not very good. I was not impressed and offended with his raunchy jokes.
We liked that there were a lot of viewingpoints to take pictures and were you could enjoy the beautiful waterfalls. There were also a lot of drink and eat facilities, that was nice because of the sunny weather. We would like to thank Lisa for taking her time to guide us through the Krka park. The wine tasting was also great to communicate with your fellow visitors.
I and my family did this day tour to Kraka National Park with our amazing host Lisa. We started at 8 in the morning in a private van along with 4 other tourists ( 8 including us). Kraka is breathtakingly beautiful and we highly recommend to visit Kraka. During an hr long journey from split, Lisa shared interesting facts and information about croatian history, food and culture. She also provided information about towns other than the typical tourist destinations. We ended our tour with the wine tasting at a small winery. I should admit the small set up and wine served there were brilliant. I would highly recommend this tour
I can only advise you to choose this tour! Lisa is a very cheerful and pleasant guide! It's very friendly and very pleasant! Very good value for money She speaks very good English if your level is a bit bad We had a great time 😍☀️
This is my second time going on the tour with Jakov and it seems every time it gets better. Highly recommended!!
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic day with our guide Gorjana! We visited Krka national park first thing which was amazing, so scenic and peaceful - definitely worth seeing if you're in Croatia. Our next stop was wine tasting with Ivan and was a great addition to the trip. The wine was incredible and it was great to hear about the wine-making culture in the area - we ended up buying 3 bottles it was so good! Our final stop was the town of Šibenik where Gorjana gave us a great tour of the top sights in the city and was so knowledgable about the history and UNESCO protected sites. The whole day was very relaxed, no pressure and gave you enough time to appreciate the experience. If you're in Split I would definitely recommend this tour!
Hello I was with my girlfriend, we have wonderful time,Jakov was our guide. I recommend Adriatic vision!!!!
I would like to thank Gorjana for taking us around the waterfalls. Gorjana speaks very good english, she is very knowledge about history of Croatia and not only! 10 out of 10 for driving skills also. Recommend a trip with her 100% as I had such a good day.
Very good day out, the waterfalls are a must see. The rocks are very slippy around the falls so I would recommend getting rubber shoes if you can. A waterproof bag for your phone/camera would also be useful if you plan to take lots of photos. Our trip was hosted by Gorjana who was lovely and very helpful. The wine tasting at the local winery was a nice change for us as we don’t usually drink wine, the cheese and olive oil were also very nice but we did expect more flavours to be offered (there was only one). Overall a very good experience and fun day out.
Really nice view and swimming in the waterfall was pretty good. The other tourists were nice also . A bit too crowed. Nice guide.
All precautions were taken for our safety and welfare (measures due to COVID-19). The coach ride was very comfortable (masks were worn by all throughout the ride) and the view of the fortress of Klis on the way was awesome. The national park is absolutely gorgeous, there were butterflies everywhere and the surroundings are awe inspiring, as are the waterfalls which we thought were even more beautiful than in the pictures! We also went for the wine tasting which we enjoyed very much and was a great way to end our tour. A big thank you to our guide Daniela who took great care of us and whose sense of humor and enthusiasm was contagious! We would do this tour again!
Walking around the Krka national Park was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Rocco, was very informative and enjoyable, and knew of many great spots for panoramic pictures. Krka isn't just about the 7 waterfalls visible from the bridge. Bridges and trails weave all around this amazing river, under cover of trees and shrubs. The boat ride down the Krka followed by wine tasting in a nearby village was fantastic. Thanks!
We have wonderful time and recommend this trip to all. KrKa NP waterfalls are amazing, we are not even wine drinker, but this wine tour was simply amazing, and as proof we are owners of 2 bottles of wine 😃. Our tour guide made this trip extra wonderful and gave us lots of information very useful about the rest of our trip . Thank you!
Friendly helpful patriotic guide enhanced the experience by allowing a balance between giving information and allowing oneself to explore without direct supervision. Guides Command of English was very good.
This trip was absolutely fantastic! You start by heading to the waterfalls. You have about two hours of free time where you are able to swim or eat or just talk. Then you go on a boat ride which will take you to the wine tour. The winery is family owned and operated. Really cool experience. The last thing you’ll visit is the oldest town established by Croatians. You get a brief tour and then some time to walk around. I highly recommend booking with this company.
This was our 3rd stop in Croatia and we only spent a couple of hours here. As we still needed to drive to Split, it was pretty amazing! When you arrive you have to take a bus down to the park. From there you have to walk down the actual waterfalls. It’s very busy but well worth it! I recommend getting the lockers to leave your items, otherwise you have to leave them out while your swimming. Also get some water shoes because it’s muddy before entering the water and its slippery. Overall it was amazing and next time we will stay an extra day or 2. Krka has other sights to see, but we didn’t have enough time.
Very well thought out trip with extras. Our driver and guide were lovely and the wine tasting was wonderful. if you have time in Split a definite must
Amazing day, relaxed and informative, guide was great; wine and olive oil tasting experience was excellent, bought samples of each; park was beautiful, waterfalls were mesmerizing; good pace; well worth it
There was a pretty big delay in getting the trip started, but once we got going everything was great. Our guide more than made up for the delay with a lovely trip. Highly recommended.
My husband and I did this tour as one of our last stops on our honeymoon. It did not disappoint. Jakov and all his team throughout the day made the experience wonderful. The tour to the waterfall and the time we had there were very fun. The waterfalls themselves are beautiful in pictures but even more incredible in person. The tour could end here and it could be worth the price. However, after this you get to take a boat down the river to where the vans meet to take you to a private winery. The room set up for our group was perfect and we were able to enjoy some local cheeses with local olive oil and of course, the wine from the winery itself. Afterwards we were taken to a little village, where a local guide (Venka) told us all about the town’s history and architecture. It was a town I would have never seen on my own and am happy we were able to go. Thank you to Jakov + team for a wonderful time!
We recently went on a tour with Jakov to the Krka waterfalls, local winery and Sibenik. Jakov and his staff were incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommended that anyone looking to do a fun and adventurous tour out of Split book with Jakov!
Jakov was our tour guide and provided us with exceptional service, knowledge and humour! He clearly loves his job and puts in every effort to ensure guests have a great day. He took us to the falls early so we had some quiet time with just a handful of people swimming before the crowds came. The winery we visited was family owned and run, and so special to visit! They were generous with their wine, bread, olive oil and cheese, and made us feel super welcome. I highly recommend this tour, Jakov gave us an experience we won’t forget, and made our time in Split all the more special. Thank you so much Jakov 😀
I couldn't recommend this trip enough! Jakov is brilliant - lovely guy and made sure we got the most out of our trip from start to finish. He makes sure you get to the park before all the crowds which is brilliant- as it gets so busy! The winery was so much fun and you really do get value for money. So much wine cheese and bread! It's a really nice family run winery and it's such a nice touch to the trip. I was travelling solo and this trip was a really good way of meeting people but also being able to experience the national park. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend. Thank you Jakov - your business is going to fly!
A highlight of our stay in Split so far! A great tour of the Krka park, getting there early before the crowds. We really enjoyed the wine tour at a great local vineyard. I couldn’t recommend Jakov and the tour more highly! The best way to view Krka with all the additional activities on top!
Really enjoyed this tour! Jacov looked after us from start to finish, was knowledgeable and great fun! Krka national park is beautiful and the swim in the lakes was very refreshing. (Don't forget your water shoes though, as it can be a bit slippery) The winery was a real highlight, as we got to sample some lovely wines and were entertained by our very accommodating host. With an endless supply of wines, cheese and bread, we were well looked after and it was a great way to get to know the rest of the group. It was also great to visit Šibenik, learn some of it's history and have some free time here. All in all, a great day. Credit to Jacov and all the team!!
Really enjoyed this tour. Got to Krka Waterfalls early so we more or less had it to ourselves. The wine was beautiful after our visit. Sibenik tour was brill too. All in all met some amazing people and would recommend it.
Had an excellent experience visiting the waterfalls, they are beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The wine tasting (with unlimited cheese and bread!) was great and was lovely to visit a local winery. Was also lovely to visit Sibenik and the tour around the town was really interesting and informative. Jakov was really knowledgable and a great guide around the park. I would recommend this experience, there was a great mix of guided tour and free time to discover the waterfalls for yourself.
Where to begin? If I could use three words to describe our experience with Jakov and Adriatic Vision, they would be “above and beyond.” To give some background, I’m about 6.5 months pregnant and was worried if the tour would be appropriate for me. I am so, so happy to say that I couldn’t have been in better hands. Not only was the tour itself a joy to experience, but Jakov literally made sure I had everything I needed, from making sure I was comfortable, that I had enough water, and even incorporating bathroom breaks before arriving to the park. The Krka Falls were so incredible. The tour gives plenty of time for you to enjoy the entire experience and walk around the park. Those water shoes really came in handy so don’t leave without them! The Sladic wine tastings at Jure’s family-owned vineyard was truly amazing as well. They really take pride in the wines/liquors that they produce, and it shows in all their hard work. The family hand picks the grapes and literally all aspects of the wine production, from bottling, corking, and labeling, is all done by hand and with so much care. Jure is a wonderful host and a great entertainer! His stories are the best! We also visited Šibenik and had a lovely tour of a city so rich w/ history. It was a nice relaxing way to end the day. You get some free time after the guided tour, and I opted to lay out in the grass and enjoyed a nice view of the water. Some of the folks we were with found some tasty gelato and reasonably priced souvenirs, so I’m sure there’s a little something for everyone’s tastes. All in all, Jakov and his team made this such a wonderful, unforgettable experience for my husband and me! It was worth every penny and then some! We hope to be back again :-)
I had one full day in Split and was totally overwhelmed by the crowded city and keen to escape to some nature and try some wine of the region. This tour was the solution! Arriving early to Krka is great for easing people-fatigue. Jakov provided heaps of info on the trip there about the recent war, the sites we passed and in general is a great conversationalist. The winery is awesome (as is the unlimited cheese!), and the walking tour around Sibenik was stunning in the late afternoon sunshine. A day very well spent which I would recommend to anybody!
My wife and I did this tour with Jakov, an owner of the business, on a Monday in early September 2019. Notwithstanding that it *should* have been past the peak season, the Krke waterfalls were unbelievably crowded, so we were grateful that Jakov had encouraged us to get going early (7:40) to miss the worst of the crowds. This was my 4th visit to these falls over a 60-year span, so I have seen them "develop" from a largely-unknown and isolated campground with a few holidaymakers and no controls into a major tourist attraction serviced by motorways and sealed roads -- and all the pressure that goes with such "development". The trails around the falls are even "one-way" in order to accommodate the maximum number of holidaymakers. However, the falls themselves are still very beautiful and the water a stunning turquoise and, if you're in the Split or Šibenik area, not to be missed. After a couple of hours during which we battled with thousands of others to have a swim under the falls, we proceeded by boat from Krke to Skradin and thence to a family-run winery, where we were plied with excellent wines, bread and cheese. The winery was very generous, we learnt lots about the local wines, and enjoyed each others' company, before heading back to Šivenik for a short tour with a local guide -- and then back to Split. Overall, the day felt very well balanced, and Jakov strove to make sure we were all comfortable, happy, and enjoying ourselves. He even went out of his way to take my wife and I back to where we were staying, some km outside the main town. So, in terms of our guide and the way the tour was handled, 5 stars. Because of the crowds and the pressure, I give the day 4 stars.
From meeting up with Jakov and easy check-in, this was a great day. Drive was safe and comfy. He was a great host, very personable and he cared about all aspects of his guests’ comfort and fun. Pace of the day was perfect. Krka Waterfalls was beautiful and we were there early and just the right amount of time. Water was cold. Wine tasting was the real highlight for us. Great local family vineyard and tasting was yummy and super fun. Cheese and olive oil were delish. Local guide in Sibenik was nice and the town is cute and quiet. Jakov led a really great day of local explorations; highly recommend!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time on this day excursion. Jakov who was our tour guide took great care of us the entire day. What I loved was that this excursion was much more than a trip to see the waterfalls. It includes wine tasting and seeing parts of Croatia that frankly we wouldn't have seen. In addition, jakov takes care of everything, making sure you see everything, allowing you to truly enjoy the experience. I would recommend this for everyone who is visiting split.
Wonderful experience! James was so nice and funny. He really extended himself to make sure my friends and I had a great time. He even extended the tour time because we had a delay earlier. Thank you!!
The tour was absolutely fantastic. Our guide and owner of the company Jacob was great. He did an excellent job of getting us to the park early before the crowds appeared and gave us plenty of time on our own to explore the park. He then set up a wonderful wine tasting at a small winery with unlimited cheese and bread. From there we went to the beautiful city, Sibenik, where we had a short tour/information guide. Overall the day was perfect, Jacob is a true gentleman and a wonderful guide. I appreciated his humor and conversations along the way. My wife and I spoke with him the entire car ride there and back and really enjoyed it. If you are thinking about doing Krka, I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone. You won’t regret it.
