We really enjoyed our time touring the amazing park. Richard was great, really experienced - he explained a lot about the history of the area and the park. He was very accommodating - taking pictures of us at picturesque spots was really appreciated. The tour was well planned with plenty of bathroom breaks and time to grab lunch. Richard took good care of us.

Great experience. Sanja our guide was awesome, with great mood and attitude the entire day. Everything went smoothly, from checking in, to bus schedule and trip, to park visit. Recommended. Also, visiting in late september was perfect, with fewer people and milder weather, which made for an even better experience

The day before our tour the tour company reached out to us and said, for to the limited time we would be in port in Split, the trip to this national Park would not be possible. We were very disappointed, but realized this could not be helped. The company suggested that we go to Krka Waterfalls National Park instead. We agreed with this option. Our guide was Ela. She was a very personable young woman who was also very knowledge about everywhere we went. I must also mention that her English is exceptional. We discussed with her the fact that our itinerary got changed. She suggested a quite aggressive agenda, seeing 3 different spots before we had to return to the cruise ship at 4pm. We agreed to this idea and it was a terrific day. We arrived at Krka Waterfalls before the crowds and Ela walked the park with us, showing us the routes so we spent our time there efficiently. Krka National Park was placid and beautiful, and the water features were lovely. Next Ela drove us to Trogir. Again she walked with us around the historic site, explaining the history and taking us to a fabulous little hidden gem for coffee. We enjoyed the sights in Trogir. Ela then drove us back to Split, where she walked us around the city, showing us the historical venues and discussing changes that had taken place over the centuries. At the end of the walk again she took us to a wonderful little shop where we got a huge, tremendous caprese focaccia sandwich which was large enough for us both to split. Ela helped us make lemonade out of the lemons of our cancelled initial itinerary, and we are leaving Split with no regrets. We recommend both Ela and the 3 places we visited.

Our tour guide Richard was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered everyone's questions and addressed everyone on the tour individually. Our driver Marko also did an excellent job getting us to and from the park.

The park is beautiful. We have and excelente experiencia. Our guide was Luka…. Am excelente guide he also tel us about the story of Croatia! Ir was super!!

The waterfalls and lakes in Croatia were absolutely amazing! The scenery is breathtaking, and the lakes are incredibly beautiful. Our guide, Sanja, was excellent! She explained everything very clearly, from the meeting points and schedules to interesting stories and facts about Croatia. She even created a WhatsApp group, which made communication very easy and ensured that all the information was clear and well organized. During the lake tour, we preferred to do the self-guided option, as we wanted to have more freedom, peace, and privacy to take photos and make videos. It was absolutely fine, because Sanja explained the route very clearly and told us exactly where to go, so we had no difficulties at all. The tour was very well organized, the guide was attentive and helpful, and the scenery was spectacular. I highly recommend this experience, and especially Sanja as a guide! 🇭🇷💙

Beautiful scenery! I chose the self-guided tour but our tour bus guide Richard did a great job of orienting our group on the way of Croatia's history. His instructions were clear about the trail and helpful in answering questions.

Our visit to Plitvice far exceeded our expectations. It was so worth the drive to visit this beautiful park. Our guide Richard and our driver Frank were superb. They were friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. They made our visit extra special. The lakes are so blue and crystal clear; the waterfalls are magnificent and the trees and vegetation around are beautiful. It is a magic place. We can’t wait to return! A big shout out to Richard and Frank. Thanks again for making our experience memorable!!!

Antonia was so very sweet and generally cared to make sure every single person on the tour bus had a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and made sure we truly understood how special this park is to Croatia. She was very pleasant and ensured everyone was taken care of and cared for. She personally spoke to every single person and made sure all tourists felt extremely welcome .

It was a fantastic experience to visit the lakes. The most cleanest and beautifully preserved lakes in Europe. Lakes were crystal clear and blue and the whole walk was very pleasant. Definitely worth it for the price. We were able to see all the lakes and waterfall within a day while taking good breaks in between taking lots of pictures. And lastly, our tour guide Larry made the whole experience really fun with his jokes. He is very informative, friendly, helpful and funny. Loved it!!!

Our tour guide Lovro was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood the geographical history of the region we were visiting, as well as the history of the park. The hike was not too strenuous & Lovro made sure to take time for everyone to do the hike successfully. He also gave us a list of local food to try which drastically increased our enjoyment of the food for the rest of our trip. Stunning views with an excellent tour group! My one advice to people packing lunch is that make sure you are prepared to carry it in ur backpack and keep it insulated, the day is pretty hot in August and you wouldn’t want to risk getting sick.

Our tour guide Sanja was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, she made the whole experience enjoyable with her excellent communication skills, great sense of humour and wonderful energy. She has an impressive knowledge not only of Plitvice Lakes, but also of the Lika region and Split, sharing interesting facts, stories and figures throughout the journey. What could have felt like a long three-hour drive went by incredibly quickly thanks to her engaging personality, positive energy and empathy with the group. Sanja was friendly, attentive and professional, and really added something special to the whole experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend both the trip and, especially, Sanja as a guide!

Beautiful region of Croatia, a must see if you like unique nature. It is a full day trip but worth it. Nice tour bus out to the national park(3.5 hrs), 4/5 hours of leisurely hiking, then same time back. Our guide Antonia was fantastic; energetic, knowledgeable, fun, and super friendly. Definitely bring water and some lunch. You can pick up some food at the bus midway stop but limited choices. Overall, strong recommendation!

Stunningly beautiful Natali was a great guide. Wear sneakers/comfortable sturdy walking shoes. It was so beautiful and a highlight of our trip. George, our driver was so fun also!

Lavro (Larry) was a great guide. He was informative and funny and personable. We had a big group and he learned everyone’s names and where they were from.

We had a private driver and a guide for the 6 hour drive to/from Dubrovnik to Plitvice and the 4 hours walking the boardwalk of the lakes. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver was safe, and the guide was pleasantly engaging. A long day made easy by them.

Antonio was our guide to the Waterfalls and she was excellent. Pickup was veey easy to find and we followed her to the bus. And Although the bus journey was 3hrs, the first hour and half went so fast because she spoke to us, telling us about the history of Split etc. We stopped for 10mins on the way up(and on the way home), for toilets or water etc. When we arrived at the Plitvice Lakes she gave us explicit instructions and kept repeating, to ensure we all heard and understood. We arrived approx 11am and She guided us for the entire 5hrs through the Park. She even stopped to take our individual photos at different scenic spots... Plitvice lakes and waterfalls are so beautiful and absolutely beautiful, a peaceful place to visit, even though there were many bus tours/groups, it didn't feel crowded or rushed. This tour has been the best tour so far, on our trip- Croatia 2026! Today's temperature was in early 20s, and it was perfect. There was some rain over the past few days apparently, so the waterfalls were a bit fuller! Also There weren't any midgets or mozzies, TG! There's plenty of shade in the trees and overgrowth ,but we didn't need it today. If there's a risk of rain bring a light raincoat, although you can buy a poncho from Antonio for €2, on the bus. We would definitely recommend this tour...

Great tour with a fantastic guide. Very well paced, organized, comfortable transportation and a lot to see on this trip. Our guide Sanja and driver were terrific. Definitely a highlight on my time here in Croatia. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable experience while visiting.

Richard made the whole trip and the whole day. He was attentive and gave us all the information and took care of all of our needs and made sure we have a smooth experience. The park is just incredible and worth the rather long ride to get there. Could not recommend Richard more highly, the tour was great, and people should just be prepared for what is a good amount of walking and steps. Go for it and get yourself hooked up with Rchard!
