This was one of the highlights of our time in Split! We tasted five wines, and the pours were incredibly generous. 😄 It included delicious snacks — olive tapenade, cheese, chocolate, fresh fruit, and nuts — which made the tasting even more enjoyable. What really stood out was our host. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about Croatian wine. You can tell his heart is truly in what he does, and that passion made the experience feel personal and authentic rather than like a typical tourist activity. We learned a lot, drank some fantastic wine, and had such a lovely time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Split! 🍷❤️

Had an amazing time on this tour! The wines were absolutely delicious, and our host was incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much about the different winemaking processes, including the fascinating method of aging wine under the ocean, which I had never heard of before. The snacks were also excellent and paired perfectly with each wine, making the tasting experience even better. Every wine we tried was unique and full of flavor. It's honestly a shame that Croatia doesn't export more of its wines because they were truly outstanding and deserve to be enjoyed by more people. If you're a wine lover or just curious to learn more about Croatian wines, don't think twice, just book this tour. It's informative, relaxing, delicious, and well worth the time!

I went to Split and Sip with a friend as a birthday gift for her, and we were absolutely thrilled! The wine tasting was such a fun and special experience. The host who guided us through the wines was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable — you can tell he truly loves what he does. He explained everything in a way that was both informative and engaging, which made the whole tasting even more enjoyable. We left with big smiles and wonderful memories. Highly recommend! 🍷✨

We enjoyed the experience however it was stated as being a 2 hour wine tasting experience and it was just about an hour which was disappointing. We felt as if it was abit of a money grab to get us in and out quickly, which I've found with many wine tasting tours I've done. The wines were lovely, however it was half a glass of each which i just found abit measly when you're paying good money for the tour.

My wife and I (a novice and an aficionado) had a wonderful time learning about Croatian wines with Sven! He put together a thoughtful tasting that was both delicious and educational and left us with a new perspective on how to think about wine. He cares deeply about the craft and artistry of wine and it makes for thought-provoking conversation and a wonderful experience. A must do while you are in Split if you enjoy wine!

The proprietor, Sven, is highly knowledgeable on Croatian wines. He entertained us with his detailed understanding which extends to personal relationships with the leading Croatian wine producers. Our group of 8 enjoyed a superb long afternoon, which included food pairing with high quality wines.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience with Sven. The wine choices were excellent showcasing a range of Croatian wines and wine makers. What we enjoyed the most was Sven’s passion for each wine he chose and the stories behind the wines, the people making them and the stories associated with that. We would highly recommend the tasting.

We booked this as an activity to do when we first arrived in Split and it did not disappoint. The host was incredibly knowledgeable about local wine and we sampled three great glasses whilst learning about the production and history of Croatian wine. A little off the beaten path, and a great introduction to the city and the wine. Would highly recommend.

The owner was very knowledgeable and personable. It ended up being a private tasting and we left happy and fulfilled. We even learnt quick a few things about wine along the way. We tasted 6 different wines and definitely went over time yet did not feel rushed or pressured at all. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We ended up buying 3 different bottles to take home to share with family. Highly recommend booking early as this will book up quickly.

We have done several wine tastings across Europe but this one we agreed was one of the best. This was a tasting led by a very knowledgeable expert, who guided us on wine tasting techniques and how to pair different types of wine with different foods. We learnt about how regions really influence each wines and the whole experience felt crafted and polished. We learnt new things, learnt lots about Croatian wines, and had generous helpings of everything. Highly recommended!

We did the combined wine and olive oil and enjoyed the whole experience! My wife (who doesn't care for wine or olive oil) had a great time with the food and presentation. Everything tastes great and discussing the history and agriculture of the region was a bonus if you enjoy history.

This place is fantastic with a great selection of local and foreign wines. Friendly and helpful staff with incredible knowledge of wine producers and varieties. The store is beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of coming.

I usually don’t like to share my opinions as it is really subjective to talk about tastes and preferences, but I think I really need to make an exception. My husband and I loved “Split & Sip" as it holds excellent choices of wide range of Croatian wines, has a great atmosphere, the staff that knows their job and how to lead you through their offering. I loved the friendly vibe and laid back and subtle professionalism during our wine tasting, all paired with tasty local cheese and “pršut”.

Split & sip is located at the very "heart" of Split. Its ambiance is very inviting and relaxing. There is a big variety of wine, so everyone can find the sort they will enjoy the most. The kind waiters are are exceptionally knowledgeable which is very important when it comes to wine tasting. I would recommend Split & sip for couples, groups of friends and solo travellers. It surely left a lasting impression on me.

We organised a team building event there and I have to say that the whole team was very impressed. From the moment we have set foot inside we were welcomed by amazing hosts and guided through the tasting. We had some amazing wine, learned a lot and had fun along the way. What more can you ask for :)
