Initially disappointed as booking was cancelled at 2200 hrs night before . But after contacting tour operator he explained mini bus had broken down . He then arranged different transport and for inconvenience paid for our entrance to water falls .

If you don't get to the falls by 9am you will be greeted with tons of buses and what should be a beautiful walk in nature will be crowds of people walking on a wooded path... the boat out and the village was nice our guide was fantastic... loved Mate Vino- best prosciutto ever!!
Great day out at the beautiful national park
I was one of two travellers on this private Krka day trip. This review is based solely on our personal experience, the booking confirmation, written WhatsApp messages before the trip, the tickets we retained, photographs and later email correspondence. We booked what was presented as a private day trip for two people. The booking confirmation listed private transportation, Wi-Fi, an air-conditioned vehicle and boat tickets to Krka National Park among the inclusions. We relied on this written information when deciding whether the trip was suitable for us. This was particularly important because, before the tour, my partner informed the operator in writing that he has a disability, a knee injury and limited ability to walk. He specifically asked how much walking would be involved. We understood that the walk after the boat would be short and manageable. In reality, the route to the falls involved more than 500 steep steps, including a demanding ascent and descent. My partner had to stop repeatedly because of his knee injury, and I was also affected by the unexpected exertion because of respiratory issues. We could not complete the intended visit or the rest of the planned tour. What we expected to be a manageable walk became an endurance test. Before collection, we were told that the person with whom we had been communicating was at the doctor’s and that someone else would be sent. The vehicle that arrived 20mins late was an older Mercedes B-Class with limited rear legroom, not the car advertised or shown when we booked. There was no usable Wi-Fi or USB charging point that we could use, and no water was offered. Although the booking was described as a private excursion, we were taken to the boat terminal and then left to manage the boat journey, access route and visit independently. We were not given meaningful route guidance, clear accessibility information or practical assistance. The driver was polite, but in practical terms the service felt closer to a taxi transfer than the organised private excursion we understood we had booked. We were required to pay €80 in cash at the boat-ticket office before boarding. The driver took us to the payment point and was present when we paid, and we retained the tickets. This was concerning because boat tickets to Krka National Park were listed among the booking inclusions. In later WhatsApp correspondence, the operator stated that the boat trip had been offered because of my partner’s mobility limitations. Our understanding was that the boat was necessary to reach the intended Krka visit from Split, rather than an optional extra. We were not told before booking or before the trip that a separate €80 payment would be required to board. At the payment office, we were told by the cashier that she was surprised that we had not been informed about this separately in advance. Krka is beautiful and the waterfalls are pleasant, although they did not compare for us with the scale and impact of Niagara Falls. They may be worth seeing in the right circumstances. However, the scenery did not outweigh the unexpected physical demands, unclear accessibility information, limited assistance and additional cash payment. For us, the day was stressful and disappointing rather than enjoyable. Viator refunded our booking after we submitted our complaint service and supporting information and directed us to deal directly with Vinko for the remainder 80euros. We then contacted the operator directly, supplied the booking confirmation, tickets and other relevant documents, and asked for clarification and reimbursement of the €80. We also asked for confirmation of the payment circumstances with the driver who had been present. This did not resolve the issue. We found the subsequent communications dismissive, patronising and disrespectful. In our view, they did not address the central factual issues: the written mobility discussion before booking, the vehicle supplied, the route and steep steps, the €80 payment required before boarding, and the level of assistance provided. The operator’s public response to our earlier review does not reflect our recollection of events or the documentation we retain. We have travelled widely and chose to visit Croatia in good faith. We are sharing this account to help other travellers make an informed choice, particularly people with mobility concerns. Not everyone who has a disappointing experience decides to leave a review; many understandably prefer to leave it behind. We have decided to share ours because these practical details may help someone else ask the right questions before committing to a booking. During our visit, we personally saw older visitors and parents with young children and pushchairs appearing to struggle with the access route and steep steps. The route may be manageable for some visitors, depending on fitness, mobility, health and equipment. However, older travellers, families with pushchairs, and anyone with reduced mobility, knee problems or respiratory concerns should obtain the exact walking route, number and steepness of steps, boat arrangements, ticket costs, inclusions, vehicle details, facilities and level of assistance in writing before booking. We would also advise future travellers to use a payment method that provides a clear record wherever possible, rather than relying on cash, because a record may be important if there is later disagreement about what was included or paid.
We booked this as a luxury private tour but unfortunately it was one of the most stressful travel experiences we have had and did not reflect the service advertised. The driver was around 20 minutes late he was friendly and polite fbut in practice the service was no more than a taxi service to and from the boat terminal. We were not provided with a private guide, any meaningful assistance, route guidance or accompaniment during the visit . Once we arrived at the boat terminal we were left to manage alone. The vehicle was an older Mercedes B-Class with very limited rear legroom it did not have the advertised Wi-Fi USB charging points of bottled water. No water was offered at any point. The most serious issue was inaccurate and inadequate accessibility information before the trip I told Vinko in writing that I have a disability a knee injury and cannot walk too much. I specifically asked how much walking would be involved I was like to believe that they would be only a short walk of around 10 minutes after the boat journey. I reality reaching the Falls involved more than five hundred steep steps I had to stop and start repeatedly because of my knee injury my partner also has refrigeratory issues and was adversely affected by the unexpected exertion. Had we been given clear information about the number and the steepness of the steps we would never have booked to this trip. We were also required to pay separately for both tickets in order to continue out of total cost of 80 euros. The booking information was unclear and inconsistent one part of the documentation stated that National Park tickets were not included while the itineries stated that National Park tickets were included - this made it very difficult to understand in advance what was actually included in the advertised price and what extra costs we might have to pay. Because of the severe difficulty caused by the steps and the impact on both of us we had to cut the visit short and were unable to continue with the plant National Park part of the journey and the trip to the town the driver was personally pleasant but friendliness does not make up for the missing advertised facilities, the lack of a guide, the unexpected costs and the misleading information about accessibility and lack of guide as advertised. Although the natural setting is attractive the final experience did not justify the physical difficulty for us after the Unexpected demanding climb as steep steps the viewpoint was not what we had been led to expect and given the mobility and respiratory issues the visit was more stressful than enjoyable. I witnessed many people having the same issues and I particularly felt sorry for mothers with pushchairs who had no idea what there were in for when they got off the boat. Not worth 340 euros. I would not recommend this tour to anyone with mobility difficulties knee problems respiratory issues or anyone expecting the luxury private guided experience advertised it is far from the truth.

The private car was nice. Waterfalls were BEAUTIFUL! He took us to a wonderful beach and had a lot of info in Sibernik. I had a good time. It’s not a tour so much as it is someone driving you to destinations. We enjoyed it a lot.
Our guide was awesome! When he picked us up, he asked what we were interested in and made a personalized trip. Krka and the waterfalls were incredible. We had lunch and wine tasting in a family run place in Skradin. Then explored Trogir and learned about the history of Dalmatia. This day was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Highly recommend!
This was by far the best day of our time in Split, all thanks to Vinko! He was such an amazing tour guide and took us to the coolest places in addition to Krka. Vinko is so friendly and easy to talk to. He made sure that we were doing everything we wanted to do, on our own time. We really enjoyed getting to know him. We would recommend this experience to anyone! Don’t hesitate to book!!

Vinko did an excellent job. He’s so talented, smart and he took care of honoring my desires of excelente sea food restaurant , safe driving and great ideas to enjoy a perfect relaxing day.
Waterfall area was beautiful. Our driver Vinko was Very flexible and knowledgeable about the area. He brought us to 2 small villages and a hill which has a panoramic view of Croatia and the many islands. Fantastic day!
Had a lovely day at krka waterfalls and trogir. Vinko organised everything and took all the hassle out of the trip. Highly recommend. Got some local tips and insight into croatian culture and some fun chats. Whole day was amazing. We were small group of 7. What vinko provides is perfect for a small group trip. So much better than getting on a big coach trip
We had a fantastic day out with Vinko! Went to visit Krka waterfalls with scenic boat ride & Trogir old city for our group of 7, including children/teens. It was easy to book, flexible to meet our needs and a great price for a private hire. Van was nice & plenty of room for luggage, good for airport transport too. Vinko sorted all our tickets for the national park so we could just relax & enjoy our trip. Highly recommend booking a trip/transfer with Vinko, very reliable, great communication & super fun!
Such an amazing place , and what a travel agent/taxi we had probably one of most memorable holidays travelling around with a local who made us feel welcome and safe
Wow! The falls are fabulous! When you get there, a bus takes you down to the falls. You can choose to stay on the side where the bus drops you and admire the fall from there. Or there is a walking trail that takes you on a circular path across the river at the top of the falls, down the other side and back across at the bottom. All views are spectacular! The walking path can be done fairly quickly (under an hour) or leisurely (taking lots of pics, like we did) in about 2 hours. Our guide gave us the choice of how long we wanted to stay. The infrastructure at the falls is really good. Exhibits on the mills that used to function there, several places to eat, lots of toilets and some souvenirs. Unfortunately, since we were there out of season, the boat to Sibenik wasn’t running. So we drove there, and spent a little time at the basilica and in the quaint old town. Then we also stopped in Trogir, another historic city on a small island. Our guide was great, working with us on our preferences.
We had a group of 6 so a private tour was ideal. The driver was very friendly and professional. Krka Waterfalls National Park is a pretty compact with a boardwalk through the park to view the falls. You can cover it in about 2 hours. The drive to and from Krka is about 1.5 hours from Split each way. We also had about 2 hours in the town of Sibenik to explore the old town. This added up to a "no rush" day trip out of Split.
It’s all about your guide!! Vinko was amazing, he took us to some local places that were so good and the people were very nice to all of us. Then as a bonus he took pictures and sent them to us! ❤️❤️
We went on the day trip to Krka Waterfalls and Sibenik. The Krka Waterfalls are amazing. There were a lot of people at the falls. Sibenik was quieter with less people than Split. Our driver for this trip was Luka. He was prompt, friendly, and a safe driver.
My wife and I have used Vinko for our taxi from Split to Tisno for the last 4 years ..and from Tisno back to Split after the festival..he is without doubt the most friendly and nicest person you could ever wish to meet. Super reliable and very easy to do business with. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and his company. Looking forward to catching up with him in 2026
We had a great day with Vinko in the Krka national park. His knowledge of the park as well as Split and Trogir was exceptional. I found him from my airport transfer and decided to try him for my Krka trip. He was very reliable and punctual and also friendly. I will definitely use him again if I’m in that area again.
We were lucky enough to have Mario give us a lift from the airport to Split. We found out about the waterfalls park and contacted Mario to takes to the park and other places. We did park tour. Wine tasting and castle visit all in one day. Mario is very personable and an excellent host and driver. Would use his anytime we are in Split or beyond.
We had an amazing day with Mario. He picked us up right near our hotel and took us to the waterfalls. The trip was very relaxed and Mario was happy for us to go at our own pace. He was very informative and always with good humour. The waterfalls were stunning and Sibenik was quaint with lovely shops and seafront. The journey back along the coast had amazing views. Overall a great experience.
Very nice experience at the Krka waterfalls and Sibenik! Our driver was very friendly and helpful, we had a great day! I highly recommend this body
