At check in - not sure they were glad to see anyone come or were bothered by us coming. Very very dated everything. Rooms are dated, entire place is dated. All but prices - those are quite current. Air conditioning did not work - we got excuse that we did not keep the card in. Kept the card in entire night - still not working. Little refrigerator was HOT inside. Got excuse that we closed cabinet door and that was the reason. No service person ever came and check. No one enquired if anything g we complained about resolved. Not sure they care Bathroom fixtures have seen better days a long time ago. So just look elsewhere. Maybe this place will get a clue.

very nice place! Receptionist barbara helped us well! we recommend you to stay here meals also excellent!
Well organized hotel, with friendly staff, convenient to Split airport and old town Trogir. Restaurant on premises.
The best thing to say about this hotel is that it's in a good location, close to Trogir. Although right on the flight path to the Split airport. The rooms are clean and have nice, small balconies. But the design is reminiscent of a hospital room. Plus no coffee in the room, not even a kettle with instant coffee or tea. No washcloths, no robes, no slippers...no amenities whatsoever. For 235€/night you might expect something. Don't look at the shower head...covered with mold (sorry, no pictures). Breakfast was...available. The power (including AC) went out in our room early in the morning. We were moved to a lesser class of room. Reduction in price? No. We had paid when we checked in (as they requested) and the manager was on holiday and the bank is closed on Saturday. Don't stay here.
We decided to splurge on our last two nights of our European vacation and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. There were definitely pros and cons with our experience at Hotel Trogir. The location is quite convenient. It’s a quick walk to the old, car-free section of Trogir where there are shops and restaurants. Our room was palatial with three beautiful patios. Spectacular views. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Cons: we had no hot water the first night and my daughter had to take a cold shower. The next day we were told to let the water run for 20 minutes in order to get hot water. It worked, but this prevented us from using the in room Jacuzzi tub & sauna as we had planned on night one. More cons: Phones in the room did not work to call the front desk. We could not find the living room TV remote. The Wi-Fi only works in the room, not in the other sections of the hotel- like in the breakfast area. Water spilled out of the shower with every use requiring us to soak up water from the bathroom floor. We use most of our towels, cleaning up the water and were always short on towels. Finally, we could not get the spa appointments that we wanted 😕 I really hate writing bad reviews. We still had a nice time. The ladies in the kitchen were so nice and do a great job- their service was a 5! Overall- we paid too much for the service we received. Hopefully the hotel will work to fix these issues. If someone had just gone up and run the water before we got there… our whole experience may have been different- and my other small complaints would have probably gone unnoticed.
