Itinerary
On all our tours you will see The Battery, Rainbow Row, The City Market, Cobblestone Streets, Quaint Alleys, where South Carolina Seceded from the Union and much more. You also will have a chance to briefly exit the tour bus at The Battery and get a view of Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. Escape the heat, as our tours are conducted on a new sightseeing bus with a super cold air-conditioner. You are assured of receiving that "personal touch" since all tours are conducted by the owner who's family sailed into Charleston Harbor in 1740.
We briefly exit the bus at The Battery to get a view of our beautiful homes, the historic harbor and Fort Sumter.
See the brightly painted homes at this famous Charleston Landmark.
We get a view of Fort Sumter as we exit the bus for a few minutes at the Battery.
You will see hundreds points of interest during the tour including The City Market which was first used as an area to sell food in the early 1800's. Today it is used by local vendors to sell locally made arts and crafts.

The tour bus left on time, and the check-in process went quickly. The bus driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was just a bit difficult to hear him at times despite his use of a headset with microphone. I enjoyed hearing about the history of many structures and landmarks throughout the city. We were given the option to disembark at The Market, which was an opportunity to see all the different vendors. I recommend this tour if you want a quick highlight of the city without having to navigate streets using GPS or deal with parking, which is very limited. And, the air conditioned bus was very much appreciated since summers here are hot and humid!
The tour was very informational knowledgeable . Mr Walker is pleasant accommodating and showed us so many areas of the city that my prior 3 tours did not show. I would kindly adk that he slow down his speaking throughout the tour at times makes him difficult to understand. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
Very informative and Anderson was friendly and knowledgeable! Great views of all parts of the city and coast
Great information on the tour. Great drop off and pickup locations Recommendations were right on target.
A good overview tour of the historic city of Charleston good information on architecture & communities
It was more a promotion of local businesses than a real tour. I was disappointed. I don’t recommend it.
Excellent tour. The driver/ guide was full of information and gave many details about the hikstory of the city and many of its andmarks. Definetily, a big recommendation.
Bus windows limited ability to see points of interest. Tour guide was very knowledgable and pleasant. Unfortunately he talked way too fast and his non stop style made it difficult to absorb and process the information he was imparting.
Our tour guide, Shawn, shared lots of great history all while driving safely on tight roads. We definitely learned details that were new to us.
great guide , very friendly and full of info. charleston is a beauriful town with alit of history. Need to come back on a weekend when not raining and take time to soak it all in.
I truly enjoyed this 1.5-hour bus tour through historic Charleston. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He shared so much fascinating history about the city, the food, and even the good, bad, and ugly sides of Charleston’s past, all in a very warm and respectful way. Despite the rainy weather, the cozy bus made the experience even better. It was the perfect way to see the city and learn about its rich culture and heritage. Highly recommend!
It was a rainy day. So it was difficult to see out of the bus windows. Also, he kept the air conditioner on the whole time so the windows wouldn’t get steamy that’s great, but I couldn’t hear what he was saying. The history was marginally interesting take it if you just wanna be shown around the city but for free you can go on the free trolley and see more.
In spite of stormy weather we were able to see the beautiful city. Scott our driver was exceptional. We learned a lot about the city!
Anderson was very knowledgeable. Very informative! Great personality. He recommended the coconut cake, he should get a free piece.
So much information with fun, knowledgeable drivers! They maneuvered their way around all the while telling us about the great history of this beautiful city!
On time pickup. Highlighted all the best spots in Charleston. Loved the tour of the Citadel. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Charleston for the first time.
Super efficient way to explore the city and learn more about the history. FYI, you don't get off the bus during the tour so mark the best spots so you can go back for photos!
Guide was very informative and relaxing! He was full of interesting facts and humor. I would recommend this tour highly.
Tour Guide was very informative as he is a 6th generation Charlestoian. Great speaker and never hesitated to answer our questions.
Wonderful tour, driver was fun, knowledgeable and explained everything. Would do again. If you went to the Citadel warn driver LoL.
We Saw lots of interesting buildings and houses. But Could not understand the driver’s words very well.
Was so excited about this tour…but now need a refund bc you cancelled the tour. Flooding issue. Thank you. If we’d gotten to go my rating would be a 5.
A lot of wasted time and very little history of the city. Wasted time was spent on Charleston campus and the military school campus
Our tour guide, Anderson was great. He provided a wealth of information and he had a great personality.
This was our first time in Charleston so loved starting our visit with Al! He was so knowledgeable about the city and so many places. We loved learning about the city and stories before we walked around town! Air conditioned bus helps you beat the heat! Pickup/dropoff spot in beautiful old train stations with very clean public bathrooms and easy parking lot!
Shawn was an amazing tour guide. It was a perfect tour full of history and knowledge. So much interesting history in Charleston!
Seats are thinly padded and close together. If one has back problems this isn't for you. Bus was hot. Air conditioning unit loud. Speaker did a nice job but was hard to hear.
The Charleston Bus Tour was amazing, and John, who was both our tour guide and driver, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the City of Charleston.
Good way to learn about the history of Charleston. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us many sites.
On an hot summer day we appreciated this air conditioned bus. Tour covered a lot of landmarks. Driver was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.
Our tour guide was very good. Bus was comfortable and air conditioner. Love Charleston. Very organized and fun. Thanks for a good tour
Bus driver was very cool and knowledgeable! We found a lot of sights we would have missed! Nice and comfortable! Great ride!
Comfy bus. Delightfully talkative guide, as a guide should be. We enjoyed seeing places that we had missed on other tours...Guide/driver also very considerate of my husband who has mobility challenges, and drove bus up the ranks so he didn't have to walk as far.
Great knowledgeable staff that provided historical facts about Charleston. It was nice to have air conditioning, also.
Shuttle driver was awesome! Great way to get acquainted with Charleston at a reasonable price. Would go again next time.
Your tour did not include what was stated in the details. Very disappointed. Driver dropped at different location. Rainbow row is why we took the tour to see that location. However, driver stated he could not go down that street.
Very pleasant tour guide. We saw and learned a lot about Charleston. It wasn’t a very warm day, but the air conditioner in the bus couldn’t keep up with the warmth.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared great stories along the way. Air conditioning was awesome to keep us cool on tour. Great tour.
Our driver performed double duty as our tour guide as well, and he did a very good job. He was a history lover and had plenty of tidbits about Charleston to share with us. He was even kind enough near the very end of the tour to drop us off only one block from our hotel. I highly recommend this tour in order to get a thorough taste of Charleston and its history.
The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and help us learn about the details of Charleston.
Have a nice relaxing time Rooms was clean There was plenty of places to eat. There was plenty of places to shop
We had a limited time in Charleston. The tour was a must in our book. Alan did not disappoint. He more than delivered. He enthralled us (and the rest of the bus) with the colorful history. Fun facts and the few stories he told. A Yankee transplant he more than delivered and entertained. The tour was great. We would have never been able to learn and see all we did if we had skipped it. Thank you
Tyler did an amazing job! We appreciated his knowledge and the tone of the tour. The tour helped us get a solid lay of the land—perfect for the beginning of our trip.
Enjoyed looking at all the history very entertaining the churches were beautiful. Sad to see all the houses that still needed to be restored or rebuilt.
Funny and informative. He took his time to explain a lot of history while adding some funny stories.
Tour guide was informative with a broad base of knowledge. He wove in tidbits of local, American, and world history. Because of construction near the battery, we couldn't get near it. The substitute was more time at the Citadel than I wanted, but he had plenty of info about the school.
Loved Tyler! Knowledgeable, likes what he does! He was very attentive to the ac and is hearing him. We did not stop at 3 places like the description said… didn’t realize until later in evening. Due to construction we did not see rainbow row.
It was nice to drive around but I didn’t feel like things were pointed out. We would stop and by the time I knew what were we’re talking about we were pulling away.
Wonderful tour. Our guide gave us detailed historical information on the city of Charleston. He was very friendly and funny.
