His knowledge of Hilton Head, the surrounding islands, and the history of the area really made the experience so much more than just a boat ride. What stood out most was how naturally Neal connected with our kids. He made them feel included, answered all of their questions, and kept them engaged throughout the entire trip. He also made our whole family feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we stepped on the boat. Between seeing the dolphins, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and learning about the island, it was a highlight of our trip. Captain Neal was a huge part of what made it so memorable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hilton Head, especially families!

From the moment we arrived, Captain Dave was friendly, personable and helpful. He catered the tour to our group, understanding the dynamics of our group and what we would like to see. He shared so many interesting facts during the tour and showed us incredible sights including so many dolphins. Our group would highly recommend this tour and we will be back to take one of Captain Dave’s other tours in the future!

What a wonderful cruise! Saw so many dolphins and other beautiful views! Dave was a knowledgeable and super friendly captain and guide as well. He made our family feel very safe and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed being on the water with him and also hearing about so much of the history of the island. He was also very knowledgeable about the sea life, wildlife, and island ecosystem. We will definitely book with them again when return to Hilton Head for another vacation!

Captain Dave was a wonderful guide who had a lovely boat to take us on a little family dolphin tour. It was so nice having the private experience and he knew where to go to find the dolphins and was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. We saw a lot of dolphins pretty close and it was great. Also the atmosphere was great. Gorgeous weather and a gorgeous sunset. I’d absolutely recommend Dave and his dolphin tour!

Cap’n Dave (from NJ) was the best! Our sunset cruise featured gorgeous views, dolphins, lots of local history and anecdotes. Our crew was half local and half out of state. It was great to see HHI in a totally new way. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our 2 hour sunset cruise with Captain Dave. He was great at sharing stories, offering restaurant ideas, and telling us all about Hilton Head Island. We had watched the golf tourney the week before and liked seeing the 18th hole from the water.

This was our second sunset cruise with Hilton Head boat tours and, like last year, it was an excellent experience. Captain Dave has so much knowledge of the area and local wildlife, he's able to tailor the experience and his stories to what we were interested in hearing/learning about. We saw a ray as well as tons of dolphins while cruising around the island. A very peaceful and relaxing trip. Highly recommend this experience.

We had a great time on our private sunset tour with Capt Neil. We saw dolphins several times, which was a highlight for our family. Neil was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and kept us entertained throughout the ride. We enjoyed having the boat to ourselves and it was very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely seek him out again next time we are in Hilton Head!

His deep knowledge of the intercoastal waters, local history, and even folklore made the cruise engaging and fun without ever feeling scripted. He shared great recommendations for things to do in the area, which was an added bonus. The sunset cruise itself was stunning, easily one of the most beautiful evenings we’ve had, and the atmosphere on board was relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely fun. If you are looking for a captain who knows the waters, tells great stories, and creates a memorable experience, Drake is the one. Highly recommend.

Beautiful sunset cruise. Despite the heat, we enjoyed the breezy trip. Our guide was engaging and loved sharing all the interesting facts about celebrity homes, nature and history of the area. It was so much fun!

The experience was very relaxing on a beautiful evening. Captain Dave was knowledgeable of water and some of the ecosystems surrounding it. We found, watched and followed quite a few pods of dolphins. It was very pleasurable. I would go back!

Captain Dave NJ was the absolute best. We have been coming here for 15plus years and taken a lot of tours but this was the most educational and pretty we’ve taken. He drove the boat so we could see the best sunset views and experience. He knew the names and history of the dolphins we saw. It was amazing!!!! Never doing another cruise company!!! One of the best cruises I’ve been on and I lived on HHI for 30 years! Captain Neil was a wonderful guide through the waters around Pickney Island. We had three teenagers with us and they all loved it. We saw dolphins, the beautiful surroundings and finished with a gorgeous sunset. And for six people on a private sunset cruise, the price was quite reasonable. Our family can’t wait to do it again!

We had the most incredible time on our boating trip in Hilton Head! From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and absolutely breathtaking. The scenery alone was worth the trip, but we got extra lucky and saw a bald eagle soaring above the trees—not something you see every day! The highlight had to be the dolphins, though. We saw several swimming right alongside the boat, and it felt like something out of a movie. The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were always in the perfect spot for wildlife sightings and photo ops. Whether you’re into nature, photography, or just want a peaceful and memorable experience on the water, I can’t recommend this boating tour enough. It was truly one of the best parts of our trip to Hilton Head!

We had an excellent sunset tour with Captain David (not to be confused with the other Captain Dave). He was very knowledgeable about the area with lots of fun insider tidbits. Dolphins were also plentiful and we had a stingray jump out of the water right in front of us. The boat was very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back for another tour next time we visit the area, highly recommend this experience

We were in Hilton Head Island for the very first time and just knew that we needed to to go on a sunset cruise. Having done sunset cruises in other locations that had 300 people on the boat, we also knew that we wanted an experience that was more exclusive and on a smaller scale. This cruise was a total WIN. Captain Dave was absolutely fantastic. He has a ton of knowledge about the island, the wildlife and the culture of Hilton Head Island. We had so much fun and are looking forward to doing a cruise with Hilton Head Boat Charters next time we are HH.

A wonderful, private adventure. Captain Neil was great and truly engaging. My wife and I were visiting Hilton Head for our 15th anniversary, and I wanted to plan something special. The views of the sunset on the water were stunning. Being able to do this without the potential of others ruining the experience was worth the extra cost.

We had a fantastic experience! I proposed to my girlfriend while aboard the boat, and Captain Dave was super helpful with coordinating my plan. The communication was excellent as they were easy to reach and very responsive. We had an unpredictable weather weekend, but they were very flexible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a romantic experience, or even just quality time with family or friends.

This was a great trip for our group. Neil did an excellent job and he was very friendly. The boat was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults ages 18-76. We saw lots of dolphins and other wildlife. The scenery was beautiful.

Our family had such a wonderful experience with Captain Dave guiding our dolphin cruise! This was our first time visiting Hilton Head Island and he was so knowledgeable about all sorts of wildlife and historical facts that kept our attention for 2 full hours! At the very end, he even gave each one of our children a shark tooth which is a true treasure. I highly, highly recommend this cruise!
