Rainbow Row is one of Charleston’s most iconic attraction’s. This section of pastel colored houses showcases Charleston’s architectural beauty and historic charm. It is one of the most picturesque places in town.
During this two hour tour you will see a variety of neighborhoods, houses, mansions, churches, colleges, cobblestone streets and other historic points of interest in the Holy City. The Old Exchange Building is South Carolina’s most historic building. It is one of the few surviving buildings where the US Constitution was ratified. Today it is a very informative museum that also has the Provost Dungeon which held pirates and then America patriots prisoners during the American Revolution. The Old Exchange also has a significant amount of history pertaining to the Transatlantic and domestic slave trade in Charleston.
Highlight of our trip to Charleston! We are so glad we found Nick. He really allowed us to explore Charleston in comfort since it was hot and humid his big SUV was spacious and clean! He’s a local historian who shared so many interesting stories about the city. We covered so much ground too, more than we could have done had we walked around on our own in the heat. Highly recommend!

Matt was patient and extremely well versed on his Charlestonian history . It was the best 2 hours we spent in Charleston.
