We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Clear instructions were provided and all equipment was in excellent condition. I cannot recommend Pedego and the staff high enough.

Itinerary
Get ready for our first stop at Rusty, the much loved, corten steel rabbit sculpture by artist Dale Rogers. A great group photo op and stop to learn more about the history of how Unity Park came to be. After this quick stop, we will resume our ride along the Reedy River towards Downtown Greenville.
Greenville's famous Falls Park is the perfect stopping spot for Instagram-worthy photos of the iconic waterfalls and soaring Liberty Bridge. We'll beat the crowds with a ride along the river, stopping at the bottom for impressive and serene views of the gardens.
Cancer Survivors Park is a recently developed space of healing and tranquility for all who visit. Enjoy the serenity of riding the boardwalk that stretches over the Reedy River.
Greenville's original city park, featuring public art, a zoo, a large playground, and a bird sanctuary! Before we leave this park, we'll make a quick restroom stop next to the zoo.
Enjoy a ride along the newest segment of the Swamp Rabbit Trail from Cleveland Park to Legacy Park. As we ride into the Verdae community of Greenville, we will pass by brand-new Holland Park, breweries, coffee shops, the downtown airport, public art, and tons of new and innovative bicycle infrastructure!
A 20-acre space inspired by the pastoral park design, used by Frederick Law Olmstead, for New York City's Central Park. This is the newest park linked to the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
As we ride back toward downtown, we will pass by the Maj. Rudolph Anderson Memorial, where we will learn more about the life of an American hero and Greenville native.
As we pass through Falls Park on our return trip, we will have a photo opportunity in front of the Medusa Tree and view a tucked-away sculpture by the famous artist Dale Chihuly.
We'll stop for a local taste from this crowd favorite. This locally owned and operated cafe/grocery is proud to buy from over 300 local farmers and food makers, and spends on average more than $200,000 a month on buying local - that’s money that keeps small family farmers and food makers in business, and money that stays in our community.

Awesome experience! The swamp rabbit trail is beautiful. It was a perfect day. Laurel gave me great instruction and recommendations. The bike was so fun to ride! I will definitely be bringing my family back soon!
This was a fabulous tour of Greenville, filled with lots of educational facts. The bikes were in great condition and we had a blast!
First time on an e bike and really enjoyed it , very informative about Greenville !
Staff was great. Very friendly. Bikes were well maintained. Would come back again.
Good bikes with great helmets that we could talk to each other with. Loved the length of the ride and area we went in.
Great bike tour! Our guide was so sweet! She was Well organized and always let pedestrians know we were coming behind them! Very pleasant and informative too about the area!
There were four of us who had never ridden electric bikes and are in our 60's. We were a bit nervous about the experience, but after the "training" and answering many questions, we were off! It was so much fun cruising along the Swamp Rabbit Trail!
First class operation! One of the best bike tours I've taken. Laurel was a jewel to work, very accommodating. Kelly was an exceptional tour guide, she shared lots of history and tidbits about Greenville and sites along the trail. The bikes are great and the helmets have microphones so you can hear each other. The stop for treats at Swamp River Cafe was a fun bonus!! Loved every minute!
This is hands down the best tour of Greenville. Laurel and Kelly were awesome! I had to stop after about an hour and Laurel picked me up with my bike and transported me to our lodging. Very kind. I would recommend this pedego bike tour to everyone. Great photo opportunities.
I first spoke with Laurel when I was booking the tour. Had a few questions. She was great to work with. Answered my questions, provided good insight on the tour and was so helpful. Kelly was the tour guide. Gave a great introduction to the bike and what to expect on the tour. Could not have been better. She was very knowledgeable and very insightful about the area. The bikes were such a lot of fun. After doing a test spin and some instructions, off we went. This will be be a "must do" for the next time we visit Greenville
My wife and I have really enjoy taking eBike tours wherever we go and I think this was definitely the best! Kelly was our guide and she was just delightful. Excellent information and insight into the area. A special shout out to their state of the art bike helmets with Sena wireless communications built in. We could hear her talking no matter how far away we were. We've never seen this tech before and that made following along so much easier. This would be invaluable in a large group, spread out over a long distance. You don't need to stop and talk in a group anymore... very cool!!
Wow, what a great experience. This was my first time riding an e-bike. I picked one during online registration. The staff suggested another choice for me. Right away, it was obvious they knew their inventory well, and had my best interest at heart. I had a wonderful ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The bike was a great fit for me, and it performed perfectly. I would highly recommend them.
Great electric bike tour. Mostly shady. Get to see so many parks and paths via the Swamp Rabbit trail with a snack stop on the way.
Well organized. Kelly our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went to areas I never would have seen.
Rented ebikes from Pedego for the full day to ride the Swamp Rabbit trail on a self-guided trip. It was such a fun day. The employees at Pedego were SO helpful. They walked us through all the important features of the bikes and then gave us great info on the trail. DEFINITELY spend the extra $10 to get helmets with microphones and speakers so you can talk to one another through your helmet on the ride. It is GENIUS and made the ride so much more fun. We arrived back earlier than the full day rate and they even adjusted the rate before we paid. What a wonderful business. Thanks for a great day of adventure in Greenville and TR!
Pedego at Hampton Station is a great place to rent bicycles. I’ve rented from them twice, bit times I rented electric bicycles. They make it pretty easy, they include water, helmets, bike locks, etc. pretty much everything you need to hit the bike trails. They are also great about giving advice on where to stop for fun in terms of restaurants, things to see. Easy to work with, they answer the phone and you can book online
The Pedego people were very knowledgeable about e-bikes. They explained throughly how to use it before I got on it. That put my mind at ease. What a wonderful experience I had. I will always rent from them when I’m back in Greenville. Great people👍🏻
I have enjoyed a number of bicycling events and trips organized by international organizations. The Swamp Rabbit Trail trip offered by Pedego Electric Bikes of Greenville was by far the best. Our leader shared information about the sites we saw. She told us of future developmental plans for the area. She continually monitored our safety. We learned much. And, the brunch in TR was delicious. What an amazing excursion!
We had such a great time on this bike tour. Our guide, Kelly, was incredibly informative and fun to ride with! The bikes were powerful and easy to ride, the trail amazing and the food at our last stop delicious. We went back two days later to rent bikes on our own which we thoroughly enjoyed. They helped us feel safe and comfortable every step of the way! We would highly recommend this tour!
Whenever we have family or friends visiting Greenville we take them for a bike ride and it’s always the highlight of their trip! Pedego has the best selection of bikes on the trail and their expertise takes the guesswork out of choosing the right bike for the right person.
My husband and I took the Tuesday morning tour on April 29th. We enjoyed everything about it. The staff of the Pedego shop couldn’t have been any nicer. Our guide stopped along the way to tell us about the history of the area as well as take our pictures near some landmarks. The trail is beautiful. We will definitely take the other tour they offer next time we’re in Greenville.
My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour! Great way to see how truly amazing Greenville is!
We did the bike tour from Greenville to Travelers Rest. The bike shop was very helpful with learning an ebike. Kelley was our tour guide and she was great. She made sure we were safe, gave us info on the different spots we passed along the way and took care of the food at the stop. She was funny and personable and we enjoyed getting to know her. Now we can navigate the SRT on our own the next time we rent bikes from Pedego Electric Bikes!
Good morning Greenville was an amazing tour. Guide was excellent and very informative of the area. Staff is exceptional!!
We booked a brunch tour for our annual girls weekend trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The owner was personable, professional, & very well organized. Kelley was a fantastic tour guide, as she explained the e-bikes in a very easy and clear way. She took pictures of us throughout the tour at beautiful landmarks & brought us to a delicious creperie without rushing us to enjoy the views. I highly recommend booking with Pedego if you want to see the beauty of Greenville while also getting a local experience.
While my daughters and I were in town for a college visit, we decided to rent e-bikes in order to explore the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We chose Pedego due to the great reviews on Trip Advisor. After speaking with the shop, we chose a four-hour bike rental. We had never ridden e-bikes or been on the trail, and the folks at Pedego were great at instructing us on the bikes, guiding us through the map, and gave us their number to call if we had any trouble. We rode from Greenville to Traveler's Rest, including the Furman Lake Loop. Stopped to shop and have lunch at Tandem in Traveler's Rest, then rode back. It was the perfect day and the highlight of our weekend! I would definitely rent from Pedego again.
All of the employees were wonderful. They provided in-depth explanations for the use of the E-bikes,a map of the area including recommended businesses /spots of interest, & complimentary waters for the road. Helmets, bike locks, & a generous sized pack on the back of the bike for storage were included.
Fun ride on bike path and quiet streets. No crazy traffic! Bikes are fantastic and blue tooth helmet is a game changer. You can hear everything. Our guide Kelly was awesome. Great way to be outside and see some beautiful spots up close while learning about Greenville’s history. Highly recommend!
I have rented from Pedego several times and they are always so kind and accommodating. The customer service is the BEST and the experience of riding E-Bikes is so much fun!
We went for a morning ride with my 20 and 17 yo kids. Everything went very smoothly. They were ready for us when we arrived, had comfortable bikes and helmets that looked good as new, and by filling out everything in advance online we quickly got on our way. The Bluetooth helmets are a MUST and well worth the extra money as they made it effortless to have a conversation while we were riding even though we were often 50-200 feet apart riding in a line. The Swamp Rabbit trail Greenway is fantastic and great mix of city, waterfalls, and nature. There are plenty of places to stop for a drink or food depending on time of day. Highly recommended!
We had an absolutely fantastic time riding the e-bikes! It was our first time ever, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The trails were beautiful, peaceful, and easy to ride with hardly any hills. Laurel was incredibly helpful, offering great advice on the best routes and must-see sights (the black swans were stunning!). This made for a perfect day trip from Charlotte, and we’ll definitely be returning for another ride!
Loved the tour. We were provided helmets with blue tooth speakers so we could talk with our tour guide. The bikes were very nice. The Trail was crowded but it forced you to go slower and enjoy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 3-hour tour of the Swamp Rabbit Trail through downtown and the city parks. Kelly and Lexi were friendly, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious. The Pedego bikes were in great shape and the supplied intercom helmets made the narrated tour fun and convenient. An included lunch and drink at the famous Swamp Rabbit Cafe was a nice surprise at the end of the ride. Highly recommend this activity when visiting Greenville!
We rented 2 Pedego Interceptor e-bikes. The staff are very efficient with the check in process and explained everything about the bikes. I highly recommend Pedego. The swamp rabbit trail is a fantastic route with lots of food and beverage options and sightseeing.
Bikes are in "like new" shape. Staff have great advice where to go and how long trails take. Bikes have bag where you can store snacks, water, light jacket etc. Needed. It was a great day for exploring☀️
My corporate team had a blast renting electric bikes from Pedego! Laurel was extremely helpful in making sure our reservation was setup and we had everything we needed. We had such a great time biking on the Swamp Rabbit using Pedego's electric bikes - I can't wait to use them again (for work or personal related outings!)
Fantastic staff, service, & bicycles. We had so much fun! Thank you Pedigo Bicycles for making our trip on The Swamp Rabbit Trail so memorable & enjoyable. We'll be back!
Rented e-bikes and cruised around Greenville as a work wellness activity — it did not disappoint. The crew at Pedego was so kind and helpful to our group of first-time electric bikers. Will definitely be back!
Great tour guide and excellent history of the city. The bikes were a fun experience as well. They can really move! Would definitely recommend for any visitor or local!
Feel like a kid again on this awesome e-bike! 10/10- what you are your waiting for?🙂 My husband and I rented two eBikes during our visit to Greenville to explore the Swamp Rabbit Trail between Greenville and Travelers rest. The bike shop was accommodating and informative showed us how to use the equipment. We rented two Bluetooth helmets game changer! It allows hands, free communication with your partner or in my case an impromptu concert lol. Unless you stay close to your person, it’s a good idea to have this awesome communication. We have rented bikes in the past and have had to holler back-and-forth to get our points across. Best $20 spent ! We visited the Furman University campus, travlers rest ate lunch at a great pizza place, walked the craft fair that was going on biked back and concluded our self guided tour at the swamp rabbit cafe sipping on some iced coffee. We thought that 3 hours would be plenty- but we absolutely could have stayed all day! This was an amazing adventure thanks to Pedego of Greenville! We look forward to our next adventure!
Very enjoyable morning ride. Kelly was our guide and informative about the area. This would be good to do at the beginning of your visit to get some history and overview of the area. Easy flat ride with frequent stops. The Bluetooth bike helmets made it easy to hear the commentary no matter where you were in the group.
If you haven't rented an eBike, what you are your waiting for?🙂 My wife and I rented two eBikes during our visit to Greenville to traverse the Swamp Rabbit Trail between Greenville and Traveler's Rest, SC. The staff at Pedego Electric Bikes - Greenville was nothing less that stellar. We had a 10:00 AM reservation on a Sunday morning, so we arrived around 9:45 AM to get our orientation completed before our trek. Parking was a breeze, as there is ample parking where the bike shop is located. When we arrived, Laurel unlocked the door for us (as their opening time wasn't until 10:00 AM) and greeted us like we were family. She discussed the trail map with us, allowed us a restroom break, and provided a bottle of cold water. Next, Laurel provided a thorough orientation with us so we would feel comfortable with the operations of the bike. She also swapped out a seat post for my wife due to her short stature. We felt comfortable with our instructions and we were ready to hit the trail, an easy two-minute ride to the trail head. NOTE: The Sena bike helmets with Mesh Intercom and Bluetooth were a game changer. If you have two or more going for a bike outing, I highly recommend upgrading to these! We were easily able to communicate with each other (hands free) during the ride, making for a safer and more enjoyable experience. We scheduled a four-hour rental, but I asked if we were out longer, would that be a problem? The answer was "definitely not a problem!" We were out an extra hour and the addition fee was very fair. We visited the Furman University campus, sat by the lake to enjoy watching the turtles and swans. In addition, we had lunch at Tandem Cafe in Traveler's Rest, SC for some inexpensive and quality food. We encountered a very nice couple on bikes who we spoke with for a while as well. Once we returned our bikes, Zach assisted us with getting everything our of the saddle bags and returning the bikes. Zach was a blast to work with as well. This was an amazing adventure thanks to Pedego of Greenville! We look forward to our next adventure!
Did a full-day rental on a Saturday. Very nice shop and people. The bikes had issues and were very worn out and wobbly. Brakes didn't work properly also. I feel like for the price (over $200 for two bikes), they should be newer or in good shape.
My wife and I were visiting our son in GVL over the 4th and we hit the Swamp Rabbit Trail for a bike ride. Our son is a purest when it comes to biking, we didn’t want hold him back so we rented Pedego bikes. Pedego took great care of us. Showed us how the bikes worked, made sure we were hydrated and sent us on our way. What a blast!! Thank you Pedego! We are now hooked on e-bikes. We will be back for more. Cheers from Amy and Joel from ATL.
We enjoyed seeing the many different parks along the trail and our tour guide. The pick up place was easy to get to.
Great tour with a knowledgeable guide! I would highly recommend and do it again. Bikes were easy to use and it was a great ride to see many sites.
Great tour-would hands down recommend to others and would do it again! We visited so many parks and were able to stop as needed. This was a great tour to give an overview lay of the land. Lennon was very knowledgeable about the area, easy to hang with, and helped us to get pictures along the way. Everyone at the shop was friendly and engaging.
Lennon did a great job of guiding us through the scenic trails in Greenville. Bikes were awesome and the blue tooth helmets made it easy for the team to communicate along the way. Adding an ice cream break halfway through made it all the better.
Hubby and I had a blast!!! Would highly recommend and do again! Friendly guide and amazing trail highlighting the best of Greenville. Lunch was also good!
