We'll depart from the Folly River boat ramp and begin our excursion through the Folly River and surrounding salt marsh estuaries. During our trip, you'll be treated to numerous encounters with our resident Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. We'll also see various species of shorebirds and wading birds along with occasional sighting of turtles, river otters and birds of prey such as eagles and osprey. All while making our way to historic Morris Island.

My family had the BEST time on Captain Billy’s boat and hunting for shells/shark teeth on Morris Island! He was the most wonderful guide and our kids were begging to go back again the next day! 😂😊
Our experience was amazing! I took my family with a 4 year old, 3 year old and a 6 month old. We all had a blast! We saw a mama dolphin and her calf, dolphins liner feeding, great blue heron, found shark teeth, and lots of great shells. This will be our new family tradition.
Captain Billy was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and kept us very informed. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Some of the artifacts he has found during his excursions are amazing.
Nice ride out to the island, saw lots of wildlife including dolphins. The island had tons of shells and beautiful views of the lighthouse. Wish we could have spent a little more time on the island. Our original tour time was cancelled due to weather but they were able to reschedule us for the next day.
This tour was amazing! Very personal and fun. Captain Billy was wonderful and we saw so many dolphins! Shell and shark tooth hunting on the beach was fun and the sunset was beautiful.
Billy was very knowledgeable about the area, accommodating with regards to ensuring that we were able to see dolphins, and even helped us find shark’s teeth on the island. He was also a really nice guy.

Great way to spend the morning for our 12 year old’s birthday! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. Seeing the dolphins up close was so special even if they were being a little shy that morning. And the best part was our guide being out on Morris Island with us helping our boys hunt for shark teeth!
Our guide gave us some history of the area while on the tour. We saw several pods of dolphins and local birds. We found several shells on Morris Island and our guide gave my children shark teeth that he found on the beach. Definitely take this tour if you're in the area and have time.
Captain Billy was so patient and good with us; eased us in the water while looking for dolphins. We got to see several dolphins, including a momma with her calf! My daughters loved looking for shells on the beach too. They both found full sand dollars and some beautiful shells. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun dolphin expedition.

We had a wonderful experience on our trip! We saw multiple pods of dolphins, even a few calfs. We found so many shells we had sort through them and put tons back, you’ll be blown away how many shells there are on Morris island. Captain Billy was the consummate southern gentleman. His knowledge of the creeks and area could only be found in a local. We had an amazing experience seeing dolphins and other wildlife. He knew exactly where to go. We even explored the beach finding interesting artifacts. He will always be my go to for a delightful trip.
