An unexpected day change in our cruise, not on our part- but by Vagabond at Sea Pines. Once we were asked on Friday to come Friday, I wish I had changed the Charleston carriage ride to Saturday, 10/31. We could have enjoyed Hilton Head island beach area on a warmer day Friday & also not hurried our visit to Charleston. We got there, took the ride, & headed back to HHI - we thought. It was Sea Pines & a $10 charge just to drive onto the property. Didn't realize that the cruise & HHI were not in the same area. The extra driving on 2 days, plus sacrificing our day in Charleston was nerve-wracking and disappointing.

The cruise was nice. We were hoping to go into deeper water. The food could have been seasoned more. It was difficult to hear the guide. Having soft music playing would have been a great touch.
Excellent trip. Sam was our waiter and did a fabulous job. We had a group of 14. Dinner was excellent.
Beginning to end a lovely experience. The crew was welcoming and engaging and the dinner was excellent. We all had the Blackened Mahi-Mahi. We sat outside which is the upper deck - and I am glad we did. It was not crowded and we had an excellent view of the water and surrounding marshes and Daufaskie Island.
Great experience. Beautiful sunset and the waitstaff / crew were top notch. We would definitely recommend.
Great food, enjoyable servers, nice smooth ride. IMO the fish was a little overdone.
Everyone is so nice and so welcoming! The service was spectacular!! The ride was smooth. The salad was delicious! I had the mahi mahi my husband has the pork loin, he really liked that.
the boat ride and seeing the dolphins were great! Our server, Sam, and his helpers were very good. We were very disappointed in the food, Fish was extremely dry, broccolini was awful. Please do a better job with this. No one ate everything. We felt bad that we told our friends how good the dinner would be. The dessert was really good. Recommendation would depend on whether the food was better….
The cruise was wonderful, but the AC wasn’t working very well on the enclosed deck.
Beautiful ambience, friendly atmosphere. Food was amazing! We had the salad, chicken breast, and key lime pie. The boat allowed us to catch the sunset at the perfect time for amazing pictures. We were even able to even see the harvest moon. It was a 10 out of 10 experience and I would do it again.
This is a fantastic dinner cruise. The food was amazing and served quickly. We got several angles of the sunset and also got to see the moon rising. Be on time - the boat is leaving at the time it says whether you’re here or not.
Really relaxing evening, amazing service and food. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary so it was fun doing something different!
We really enjoyed the cruise, the food was great and the staff were very friendly.
Great food! Wait staff were nice and attentive. Not much interaction between the captain and guests. Some info/history of the area would have been nice.
The dinner cruise was the highlight of our trip to Hilton Head! The meal was delicious and the staff was friendly. It was a lovely evening to gently glide along the coast and relax plus we saw several dolphins along the way. This is our second year visiting Hilton Head and our second time on the cruise because we enjoyed it so much last year!
Great cruise, need better intercoms
Organized, friendly staff & fun!
The overall experience was a glimpse of what he’ll would like. We book an inside reservation for dinner and my wife and I were dripping sweat off our noses and in our eyes. The temperature was atleast 110 inside. We will not do this again.
Very professional and timely. Food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. The captain was very friendly and the cruise was amazing.
Great evening along the Cooper river! The food was delicious and the crew was attentive, friendly and polite! My only recommendation would be to keep this as an adult only trip, as there was a family with young boys who enjoyed spitting over the railing for a good part of the cruise. This is definitely an adult event!
The food was good, and the cruise was enjoyable, especially seeing dolphins. Finding where to go was not made clear, so that was an adventure. I had no option of where to sit, so we ended up on the upper deck, outside. They were able to move us. However, once it got dark we couldn’t see anything but our own reflection when looking out the window because the lights were in. I recommend the lights be lowered.
The cruise was well organized and the food was quite good. The upper deck was very windy on that day and a huge thunder and lightning storm blew in, so no sunset, and the cruise was shortened for the safety of the passengers. I would recommend the cruise and choose the covered but open top deck on a much less windy and stormy day.
Beautiful evening. Area was nicely narrated.
This was a wonderful experience! The crew was very friendly and the meal was delicious. The captain made sure to explain what we were seeing on the shoreline, even things that you won’t find in the tour books. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!
To be fair, it was a gloomy evening. So no Sunset. Unlike other Dinner cruises I’ve been on, the scenery was unremarkable. We did see a pod of dolphins. The food was ok. The red wine had not been stored correctly. I t died two different types and both tasted as if they had sat in a very warm environment for a long period of time. Best part of the trip was the wait staff. They had a great attitude and were very attentive. For the money, I would’ve rather spent it at a fine dining restaurant with live entertainment.
3 star bc the staff was so amazing. The weather was iffy. I tried to cancel due to weather but they said that was up to the captain & they if we couldn’t go out due to weather, they’d stay docked & we would still eat on the boat. We didn’t want to do that & we couldn’t get our money back. If I could do anything different, I would have waited till last minute to book. I don’t feel as if they took safety into account for the customers. Just wanted their money
We loved it . Food and staff very good . Would definitely do a second trip ! Drinks from bar were good and priced well also
Great pacing of dinner and plenty of time spent on the water. Definitely recommend dressing up a bit. Shoutout to our waiter, Sam.
I was fine with the trip itself, it was a hot day and as such I booked the interior cabin which was supposed to be air conditioned. The interior cabin was hot and humid at the start and coupled with the radiant heat load was uncomfortable at best, and took away from the trip itself. The staff worked hard in the heat, but it is hard to enjoy the meal and drinks when one is sweating through their clothes. You need to upgrade your HVAC system as the heat takes away from the sunset, the beauty of the area and the meal.
The trip was something different but not sure the experience with dinner and drinks was worth the squeeze
I think overall, the experience was nice! I just thought the table setting, chairs, and table centerpiece looked a little cheap. However, the sunset experience was amazing, and we even saw some dolphins swim by!
Dinner was delicious! Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely sunset cruise! We did see a few dolphins along the way.
To check out the different packages that are offered. That the food and service is excellent and the boat experience is very enjoyable! Always a great way to end our vacation!
Sam, and Ava were excellent, everything about the experience was amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone!
This cruise was so much fun! Food was great and so was the view! Staff is amazing! We left extra tips!
Avoid this cruise. Due to gross staff negligence, a sharp steak knife was placed on my table instead of a butter knife. When the boat rocked, it fell and sliced my arm deeply. The staff fumbled the first aid response and completely botched the incident report. Because of the deep cut, I couldn't even swim or enjoy the beach due to infection risks, and I am now left with a permanent scar on my arm... Management has completely ignored me since we docked. To make matters worse, the trip was overpriced garbage. The food was dry, cold, and tasted like it was cooked days ago off-site. The drinks were watered down, and the staff was entirely unprofessional. Save your money and your safety—DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE!
Was me and my husband 4th wedding anniversary had so much fun. The food was awesome and great customer service
We were on the bottom deck and there was no music, plus the AC stopped working at one point. A little music would’ve made it more entertaining. Everything else was great!
Make sure you get there way early because it took us 35 minutes circling the parking lot just to find a parking place. No dedicated parking for this tour company! Food was great, the staff worked hard. Never had an empty glass of water. Although it rained, we still had fun. Glad we choose the inside lower deck.
Great food, great service, beautiful views. This was just a great experience for the entire family!!
Very enjoyable dinner and cruise. Food was good, nice selection of drinks and family friendly. Saw a few dozen dolphins from a short distance and saw a pretty sunset as we moved around the end of the island. Good tunes and attentive wait staff! Sat outside on top. Very good time!
The first time I visited Hilton Head, my family took this sunset cruise because we received a voucher after our time share presentation. For nostalgic reasons, I decided to treat the family to one on our visit to Hilton Head this year. We were fortunate to find a parking space in the parking lot near the Lighthouse at Sea Pines. We walked around a bit until one of the benches in the harbor opened up. The family stayed there while I went to figure out where to get onto the boat. This gave me the opportunity to take some pictures in the harbor. When we boarded the boat, we were guided to a table on the lower deck which was air conditioned. The sun was blazing through the window and we unfortunately did not have a shade that we could pull down like there were at some of the other tables. We made the best of it. Our server was very friendly. He explained that he was working to meet people and to see what he could learn. By the end of the trip, he exchanged information with my son. The meal was surprisingly good. I was skeptical and thought that it might be bland because it was mass produced. Every dish was prepared well and had good flavor. Everyone in my party truly enjoyed their meals. The sights are tremendous. We saw a few dolphins while the boat was underway. The sunset was breathtaking. I definitely recommend this experience.
This was one of the highlights of our vacation. The views were beautiful and the food was wonderful. We definitely are planning to take this dinner cruise again.
The issue with this excursion is the parking of your car. The boat departs from Harbour Town, a popular area for shopping, dining and standards entertainment with very little parking space. We were looking for a spot for 55 minutes and we boarded the boat 2 minutes before departure. While we understand the operator cannot control the parking, they sure can pick a different port. Food was good. Crew is excellent, all colege students brought by the operator for the summer from colleges all over the country, motivated and happy to be there, these kids have the best attitude, perfect for hospitality. Boat route is intercoastal, not too far but with beautiful sunset between islands. You can see a variety of marine wildlife. Parking is the issue truly degrading the customer experience.
Experience was fun and dinner was good. Would recommend.
Great time! Excellent food and staff! We saw some dolphins. Cocktails were delicious too!!! Wear flat shoes.
The rooms were spacious and the condo was very nice. The resort is kid friendly and easy access to the beach.
The service was good, the food was EXCELLENT, the mixed drinks I ordered were satisfactory, but we dined inside thinking it would be cooler and I was wrong! It was blazing hot, our table didn’t have a blind to lower, like all of the others, and the air flow was less than satisfactory. We were sweating the entire time. Luckily, though, we know how to enjoy each other’s company without griping. We saw a few dolphins but that was it. I would NEVER do it again in the July heat. I would do it again, however, in the spring or fall or even sit outside in the summer because there would be a breeze - that would definitely be the preference over feeling like a sardine in a can without adequate ventilation.
The dinner cruise was beautiful. The dinner was excellent and the evening trip was magical. If you ever get the chance book this cruise. Slow cruise across the sound and up the ICW turn around and.back. Saw the dolphins, sunset and birds. Then the trip back into Harbortown with the sky getting dark it was beautiful. We will book this again.
Amazing experience. The most kind, helpful and friendly staff.
