Was beautiful area and fun riding a little different type of Segway in a non metropolitan area. Would have liked to make a stop at the butterfly house as part of the trip.
Super fun and informative! Liz was a great guide- some had never riden a Segway and she made us very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and we saw a lot of the flora and fauna for the area. Highly recommend!

Simply incredible! Our guide Liz was amazing. She took us on a two hour Segway adventure! We learned about local history, flora and fauna. We went on trails, paths, streets, fields. She took photos and videos of us on the Segways. This was an unforgettable experience!

We embarked on the Ultimate Segway tour, bringing along our four teenage daughters, one of whom was celebrating her 18th birthday. This was our second time riding, and it was the first time for our teenagers, who absolutely loved it! Opting for the 2-hour ultimate tour, we wanted a guided exploration of the Nature Preserve encircling the Costal Discovery Museum, along with the anticipated fun of cruising around on Segways through wooded paths and the park areas adjacent to the Preserve. Our experience exceeded expectations! Gliding around the beautiful grounds on a Segway was one of the highlights of our Hilton Head trip. Our guide, Kim, was amazing! We all loved the adventure, particularly the pauses to explore various sights along the route. Kim's expert explanations and historical insights were icing on the cake! We learned a lot of interesting stories and facts that we would have otherwise missed had we explored the grounds independently. Moreover, the thoughtful gesture by Hilton Head Segway of preparing a birthday gift for our 18-year-old daughter added a special touch to our day. This was the best trip I have planned. To be honest after watching the safety video I was nervous bit Elizabeth was so patient and kind I became more confident in riding the Segway. I very much enjoyed learning about the Gullah people and the owners of Hilton Head. I also enjoyed everything about the tour.
My spouse and I love to do Segway tours when we travel (San Diego, Scottsdale Old Town, Atlanta….) and the HHI Ultimate Tour was, hands down, the absolute best. Firstly, the tour was on a beautiful preserve and we went around a lake at one point, so it was in beautiful surroundings. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history and natural environment of HHI on the tour. The segways have bigger tires than a normal city segway, so we were perfectly safe on the grass and trails. And most of all, it was incredibly fun!! An extra bonus was the green market that was taking place on the grounds, so we got to walk through the market after the tour was over.
Our tour guide was the best! Seriously she was so much fun and made the tour great! Liz, thank you for making this so much fun from my teens!! I was so happy to see them put their phones down for the entire time!!
We’d never ridden a Segway before, and it was easy to learn and SO much fun! We enjoyed learning about the area and getting to ride around on all the trails. This was our very favorite activity we did!
booked on the morning of tour we booked a 90 mins guided tour and it didnt disappoint chris our guide was brilliantvery thorough explained everything the grounds we went through were beautiful and steeped with history .... we were took to see alligators and then took through the trees and hidden pathways where i misjudged the ditance from a tree and fell off (😂😂😂😂) tree was un hurt ... i cant thank chris enough for a relly enjoyable 90 mins which went too quickly would reccomend this to anyone

Chris our guide was great. He made us feel comfortable on the segways before taking off for our adventure. He made a point to show us the alligators on the one part of the trip. He then brought a us around trails to weave in and out. My 13 year old son said it was the best part of the trip
We had an amazing Segway tour with Janet .. she gave us a fantastic narrated tour where we learned some really great facts about the history of Hilton Head and the local ecosystem. The tour took us through some beautiful trails with breathtaking scenery - the two hours were well worth it and Janet is the guide you want.
Bob was an outstanding tour guide. Although all were experienced Segway riders, he took the time to make sure we were confident riding before beginning the tour. The pace was just right, Bob's narration was both informative and entertaining. The venue was just right, from the Honey Home Plantation tour, and then to Jarvis park. Well worth the time and the $$ spent, and thanks once again to Bob for being our host!

We've taken tours with Hilton Head Segway in previous years. Each time was fun and informative. We were a group of four. I called rather than book a tour over the web - my choice - and they were very polite and accomadating.
Chris was are guide. He was great on our tour. Me and my wife have not been a segway ever! Made means my wife feel comfortable. All four of us had a lot of fun on the 90 minute tour. YES I would recommend the segway tour.
Our guide Larry was great! It was a gorgeous day. We learned the techniques and then went on our way over many trails through the woods and on regular paths. Would do it again! Fun time!
We went on the Ultimate Tour today with Elizabeth and it was THE BEST! From the very beginning, Elizabeth made us all feel comfortable on the Segway and took time with my daughter who was a bit nervous at first. Elizabeth was great sharing the history of the island on the tour and lots of great information along the way. We had a ton of fun and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do!
This was an amazing experience! My family and I had never ridden segways prior to this trip. Despite our being nervous, Chris made it easy for us to learn. We watched the video and he worked with us each individually to make sure we knew what we were doing. He explained the island's history along the way and answered our questions. We saw 2 alligators, one of them up close as it swam toward us near the dock. It was a wonderful ride, fun and exciting. We are planning to return to the island and include this segway tour as part of our trip.
We enjoyed every bit of the tour. Our guide(Elizabeth)was top notch and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the park and its history. Her enthusiasm made for such an enjoyable experience and we highly recommend the tour.

My husband gave me this adventure gift and we chose the Ultimate Discovery Tour. We loved it and our guide Jill was awesome! I was a bit nervous at first but you get used to it so quick and Jill was a huge help! So much fun and we learned history about HH in a fun way!

My friend and I spent four amazing days in Hilton Head and the Segway tour was hands down the highlight of our trip. Beth, our tour guide, was the best! She had a positive, upbeat demeanor that helped us feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived, which was no easy feat given how nervous I was about riding for the first time. Needless to say, I was thrilled that she made our safety her top priority throughout the entire trip. I will never forget how much fun I had gliding around the island, seeing baby alligators up close, discovering new restaurants and retail shops along the trails, catching breathtaking views of palm trees, and feeling the warm, island breeze across my face. It was AMAZING. I can’t wait to return with my husband and children in tow! This will definitely be at the top of our list of must-do activities.
My family and I come to HHI multiple times a year to see family. We are always looking for things to do and we hit paydirt with the eco segway tour. Bob was a great instructor and tour guide as my family of 3 (including my 13 year old daughter) learned very quickly how to use the segway and how to navigate the grounds. We basically had a private tour with Bob. We enjoyed his knowledge of Honey Horn and the surrounding area. The tour was worth every penny. It was a great thing to do during these complex times.
We all had a great time with Bob, our tour guide. He was knowledgeable about the area and was patient teaching us all how to ride. We enjoyed riding over different terrains and seeing the landscapes. We did our trip in Dec, when the foliage wasn't great, but we still enjoyed the sights around the plantation. I do wish we had done the tour at the beginning of our stay, so we would've known about the parks and could've visited later in the week.
Bob and Kelly were great teaching us to ride the Segways and were very informative on our tour of the plantation. Learned a bunch about the flora in the area. Saw some gators and other native birds and animals. Everyone in our group had a great time and talked about the experience for days later.

John delivered an exceptional experience, assuring our safety and enjoyment. This was our first experience on a Segway. He had us up and rolling in no time. We learned about the local environment, some local history, and some local colorful anecdotes. Highly recommend as a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
I learned so much about the history and ecology of Hilton Head and the lowcountry in this 2-hour tour. Our guide Doc was amazing- he was well-informed and a great communicator. The training on the Segway was also very effective. This tour was great, and a great value.
We were greeted at the parking lot by "Doc" who took us to the building to prepare for our ride. The training was clear and concise. The tour was informative and beautiful. Doc took pictures of us on our phones and in special places. We had so much fun and learned about the history of Hilton Head. Thank you Doc! It was great!

Second time we did this. The first time we did the 90 minute tour which was great but the 2 hour tour with extended trip through Jarvis Park was so much more fun! Lisa, our tour guide was great. This is a must do in HHI!
The Segway tour of Horny Horn was such a great experience. Our first time stepping onto Segway we were a little nervous but Lisa (our tour guide) got us up and running in no time. She was so passionate and knowlegable about the local history, one of the restaurants she told us about was one of THE best restaurants we visited on HH...and we visited alot. The only downfall about this tour is the 2hours seemed like 5 min because we had so much fun and didnt want it to end. We cant wait to get back to do it again.
This was our first event of our first day on HHI & it set the bar high for the rest of the week. Lisa & Beth are both very knowledgeable about Segway use & Honey Horn. They had their hands full with our bunch & took care of us professionally & with smiles & encouragement. Go check it out you won’t regret it!
Bob was a fabulous tour guide! He made everyone comfortable on their Segway and had lots of interesting facts about the area. We rode with our 13 year old and 17 year old and they can’t wait to do it again!
