Hilton Head Guided Dolphin Watching & Sightseeing Tour Via Mini Boat

This was a great way to learn about Hilton Head, the low country and all the wildlife inhabiting the area. Our guide Willie was awesome and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour and the operator!

Paula and Greg did a fantastic job of leading our mini boat tour. They shared fun facts about the island, houses, area, and wildlife. We saw lots of dolphins. The ride was fast and exciting!

We had a great time. The guides were very helpful and informative. The boat ride is a bit adventurous and you may get a bit splashed from time to time. We saw a lot of dolphins and learned a lot about them. Highly recommend this trip!

My husband and I had an amazing time! The trip was super organized from check-in to end. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. My husband had no issues driving the mini-boat (we went fast but I felt safe throughout), and we saw lots of dolphins and other wildlife like birds.

Fantastic time, Wendy was fantastic with are boys! They are age 3 and 2 and they were so entertained. The dolphins were jumping for over 30 minutes. A must see for familys!

We did the 2 hour mini boat dolphin tour. Jacob and Brian were our guides and it was the best part of our vacation. They were very knowledgeable, we saw a ton of dolphins and had a blast. Highly recommend doing this tour.

Family of four had a great time today! We had two mini boats and really enjoyed the adventure. Brian and Jacob were great guides, it’s clear they enjoy their job and it makes the experience even better. Boats have some pep and you have the opportunity to open them up as well as slow down to see the Dolphins. Great experience. It’s good for families with younger kids as well as older kids.

Our family had a fantastic time on the mini boats! We booked two boats, one for me and my husband and the other for our children in their early twenties. The guides were great telling us about the area and looking for dolphins. The highlights were speeding through the tall grasses of the sound. It was like a race track for boats. We loved it!

We booked the mini boat tour which was led by Jack and Jack. They did a great job and I would recommend to anyone else who is looking to book an experience while in HHI

Max and Jack were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. Saw large pods of dolphins. Excellent training on the use of the Zodiac.

The boats were so much fun and all our boys had fun (11-18 yrs old).

Super fun boat tour. The zodiacs were a blast to drive and the guides were knowledgeable about the area and took us to where the bait fish were and we got to see lots of dolphins. Our tour was in the morning bc our tour the day before was rescheduled due to thunderstorms. 8 am is the time to be on the water.

I had a blast on the mini boat dolphin trip! It was so much fun to drive my own boat in the open waters! The guides were great and offered some interesting facts and history. I saw some dolphins which added to the experience. I highly recommend this adventure! Well worth the money, and a great way to be on the water. I will definitely do this again on my next visit!

Bob and Cayden were excellent tour guides. Very friendly and gave us a quick history of the island. We got to see the dolphins up fairly close to the boat. Operating the boat was a blast.

Our mini boat tour was great! We were newbies to boating and Matt and Jack did a great job of explaining the boats and how to use them, as well as being kind and patient when we were learning. They were very knowledgeable about the area giving us lots of interesting information as we toured the island 10/10 recommend this tour!

What a great trip! It was nice to get out on the water, learn about Hilton Head Island, Dafauskie, Bull Creek, etc. Interesting facts and information about the ecology of the waterways. Very enjoyable 2 hours! Yes, we did see some dolphins. 😊

Had a great time! Very exciting, fun filled two hours. We saw lots of dolphins and parts of Hilton head would have not had the chance to see if we didn’t do this adventure. My children really loved doing these mini boats. The guides were great and every time we stopped would give us some cool information about the area we were in.

Jack and Jack were our tour guide and we had an amazing experience if you are considering do it . It was nice to be able to have your own boat and get the experience off driving the boat and seeing dolphins. If we come back to Hilton head we will book another experience with this company !

A fun time even without the dolphins. You cannot predict nature! You cover a good amount of area but the experience of the group driving the boats somewhat dictate how far and fast you will go. Trip was a little short…meaning we left late and returned early. We did appreciate the less bulky floatation vests provided!

We had Max, Joe and Joe lead us, they did a great job. It was cold that morning so I was glad we brought light jackets. It was a fun adventure, we saw several dolphins and learned about the habitat. I was scared to drive the mini boat fast but they were very kind about it and we eventually got the hang of it. We highly recommend it!

The three of us had a great time! The staff was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The entire tour took the entire 2 hours and we saw many dolphins. The water tour of the area was very informative and gave context to the map we were using to drive around Hilton Head. The boats were well maintained and were fun to drive. Definitely a 5 out of 5! We were fortunate enough to see many dolphins in the water including some mothers with their young and had a blast cruising through the water, sightseeing and learning about the history & facts about the island. Gavin and Greg, our guides, are very knowledgeable, patient and most interested in making sure everyone has a great experience. The boats are very easy to maneuver. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Just do it!

This was a great experience and very fairly priced. They did a great job showing you the island, giving some awesome facts, and making sure you stayed safe. Our guides (Max and Ben?) were awesome and went above and beyond. Give them a shot for your water needs….boats were great.

Our group of 12 ages 5-50 had the best time! We were able to see the lighthouse, many big houses, dolphins. The guides were exciting and very informative on Hilton head. We did many excursions this week and this was rated #1 by the whole group. Would highly recommend this excursion!

Low country water sports did outstanding job with our mini boat tour. The guides were extremely helpful and friendly. We went to several locations and saw dolphins at each. I highly recommend their service.

We went with Jack and Joe and they were awesome. Jack was helpful for those of us who were semi-inexperienced driving on the ocean. Joe is a pretty joyful guy and was telling us cool facts :). We loved it and both Jack and Joe made the experience worthwhile.

Booked a mini boat tour based on positive reviews and they were not wrong! Fantastic experience, lead by our captains Jack and Joe. We drove our individual mini boat, lead by Captain Joe, who gave excellent instructions prior to boarding the boats. Beautiful way to see a part of Hilton Head you cannot experience on land. Captain Jack followed the three mini boats in our tour, helping when needed. Stopped a couple of times for information and history of the area. Both captains spoke and were very knowledgeable. It is a two hour tour, which goes very fast! We did see several small dolphins. One person in our party was an experienced boat driver, which helped but was not necessary. It was a fun ride, similar to jet ski but we felt much safer in the sturdy mini boat. You might get a few splashes but will not get wet. Take time for this unique trip and remember to tip your captains!
