Great overview of the history of Charleston, which is impressive due to the fact that there are over 300 years of it

This tour was enjoyable and the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. I believe you could spend weeks in Charleston taking every history tour and still not cover it all.

Adam was amazing and an amazing story teller! He brings you back in time to the history of Charleston and I’m so happy we picked this your over the others.

This is the second time I have hired Adam as a Charleston tour guide! Last time, I was on my own, but this time, I had four friends with me who hadn't been to the city before. They were enamored with Adam - just as I was on my first tour! He's the right mix of history/facts and fun. He keeps it light and gives you stories you won't soon forget. Adam's tour is a MUST if visiting Charleston.

This tour was fantastic! Adam is an incredible guide and public speaker. He was engaging and had lots of interesting facts to add in on every subject we asked him about. He took us to fascinating sights. Was not a difficult walk at all. We learned a lot on this tour and had a great time while doing it. For some people in our group this was their favorite part of the whole trip. I highly recommend this tour and I usually book a history or sightseeing tour everywhere I visit. This is well worth it

Adam is very knowledgeable about Charleston history. He made the tour both interesting and fun.

Adam has a love for history. He was interesting and factual with great stories to bring us into the scene of what was happening. Adam encouraged questions and his knowledge of the area was endless. We saw beautiful buildings, houses, nooks and crannies.

History provided by Adam was stuff I had never heard. He had story after story that should probably be taught in schools. I'll take this tour again next time we visit Charleston.

Great history and walking tour. You learn history about the town and visit an old theater, graveyard, & walk down some hidden alleyways. Great tour guide.

This tour was awesome in the sense that it was a small group, and our guide was very informational and knowledgeable on the history of this fabulous city. He took questions, explained, each stop very well, and added things in a humorous, entertaining, and energetic way. This small group city tour was the highlight of our day.

Adam is awesome! He really made our first visit to Charleston not only enjoyable but so informative as well. Do this your very first day. He is a wealth of knowledge with a great sense of humor and his stories were beyond entertaining. Some of the larger tours seem like factory run events. Adam's groups are smaller and therefore more personal. You will not be disappointed!

We have done a number of guided tours through the US and Europe and we believe that this tour was one of the very best. Adam was very knowledgeable, very entertaining, and very professional. He was informative but shifted to our interests and answered our questions rather than simply following a formatted set plan. His knowledge of both the geography of Charleston and her history was amazing. We could not recommend any tour more than his. If you are looking to get an introduction to the city and her history, or if, like us, you are at a bit more advanced level this tour fits all needs. It was wonderful.

A history tour with Adam is a must when you visit Charleston. His storytelling is chock full of history, anecdotes and fun details that bring you back to Charleston’s early days.
