The captain did a good job and actual touring time was probably about an hour. It took 15 minutes to go to another harbor to pick up additional passengers. The tour guide did a poor job of explaining fight fun shore and their location.

The trip itself was lovely but the narrator was terrible. She told the story of the harbour wars line she was acting a part in a play which only lost my concentration on the facts
Great ride around the harbor, great narrator, very informative. Got to see dolphins , great experience
Lasted the right amount of time, hit all the right sights and the tour guard was interesting an fun to listen to. Highly enjoyed it.
Very informative, great guide, great boat. Terrific views of Charleston from the Cooper River, so great
It was a very educational tour. We even saw dolphins ❤️
Very good time. Particularly appreciated that as a group we were given priority entry to accommodate participants with mobility problems.
The boat tour was nice, but no where on their web site does it say NOT handicapped accessible. My 86 year old mom had all she could do climbing up the stairs to the boat.
The link to meeting point leads you to the wrong place. There’s no boats when you get there. I clicked the link for all the maps: Apple, google and Waze.
We loved this tour. Ours was the 3p which was perfect right before dinner. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much historical info but also made it entertaining. Got to see lots of Charleston (the battery, pineapple fountain, Fort Sumpter, Ravenel Bridge, Mt Pleasant) from the water while learning all about their history. As a bonus we saw several dolphins as well.
Boat smelled like a toilet. Supposed snack bar was pathetic. Advertised cold beer and wine. We were informed that was not available even though both were clearly visible. “Live” narration was recorded presentation.
Not a lot of instruction when getting on the boat. Would be nice if complimentary drinks were included. We didn’t see 1 dolphin, they weren’t even mentioned but it’s advertised as part of excursion. A guest should not have to hold the heavy door open for 80 elderly people when exiting the boat, should be an employee there during disembarking also.
Excellent tour and tour guide.
Great experience!! Great Crew! Highly recommend this tour!!
Easy to book, directions and the process was super clear and easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend!
Our tour was relaxing and informative. The lower level of the boat was air conditioned which was a welcome treat! This tour is a nice way to spend time in Charleston!
Great Cruise on a HOT 🔥 Day !! Charleston is a Beautiful Place... We Will be Back....
Excellent tour guide-maximum well told history and local color/minimum corny jokes. Well coordinated boat ride.
Fantastic and leisurely tour with comfortable seating and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made it very interesting
The men on board were very helpful and knowledgeable. We will recommend this trip to others!!
Very informative and on time. All employees were very helpful and informative. Boat was clean and maintained.
Cool refreshing breeze off the water knowledgable narration, overall a nice getaway, recommend it,you should love it....
The narrator was excellent, interesting and knowledgeable. My only suggestion would be to take the tour where you got off at Fort Sumter to explore. This was a pass by tour. The outdoor deck of the boat where the tour guide sat and narrated was covered and cool and breezy even though it was a very hot day. You could go below deck which had AC if you wanted to cool down. There was no access to the top deck.
Wonderful short trip on the water to see the Charleston shoreline.
Fabulous time ! Our on boat speaker was so knowledgeable and funny. I believe his name was denny… I hope that’s right !!! Just an enjoyable learning and fun time .
The price was definitely worth the experience. The ride was smooth, only 6 people on board, so not crowded at all. That was surprising to us because it was still summer break, so we did expect a lot more people on board. The guide was enjoyable, knowledgeable and friendly. The only problem was lack of signs or information where is the boat taking off from or some meeting point. The kiosk was closed as well and nobody picked up when I called the number for information.
Our Uber ride got us there at 2:58 and we ran through the store to find the correct boarding area. The person we asked said it was just last call for our ride, so we ran over and the gate closed and they were leaving right in front of us. We called out to them and they just waved us off. It had just turned 3:00 on my phone. Very disappointing!
Very enjoyable, also received complementary drinks! Lovely views
The cruise was very enjoyable, with an extremely knowledgeable narrator. We sat on the upper level and had great views. I would definitely recommend it.
Very enjoyable and informative. We learned a lot about South Carolina’s history and enjoyed seeing a few dolphins as well as watching the Pelicans fly and dive into the water.
The speaker guide was very well informed and made the boat ride so enjoyable with the information he provided
awesome cruise and awesome guide. Learned a lot and enjoyed the weather. Saw all the cool sights around Charleston
The customer service is nonexistent. My group ha an issue with tickets and when we called the agent gave us no assistance at all.
Great experience learning the history of Charleston and nice scenic views. The narrator was very knowledgeable.
Very informative guide was great.
Perfect morning and great overview of the area! We enjoyed our tour cruise and the candid and fun tour guide. Staff was so very kind & helpful with boarding. Weather was perfect. Would recommend for sure!
We had a very pleasant boat ride. Our narrator was very historically informative. We really enjoyed it.
The boat ride was pleasant and the crew were nice but the recorded tour audio presentation was outdated. The captain had to interrupt it at least 3 times to correct misinformation. How much trouble would it be to re-record the presentation with current factual information?
So glad we were approached on the street. We had looked at some tours but hadnt committed. Christina was super sweet and funny and knowledgeable. Henry was great too
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the harbor cruise through Spirit Lines this past Saturday morning! The cruise director was informative and entertaining! A great value for the $! Don't forget to tip!!
The directions were wrong on the website & didn’t get to board the boat. I understand it was through a 3 party but they should provide accurate directions! I gave away $80!
It's my husband's birthday. We never made it to the Charleston Harbor. The GPS took us to a different location. I tapped on the directions. It first took us us downtown Charleston and then took us to Fort Johnson. I'm not sure why that happened.
We were looking forward to the harbor cruise, but it was cancelled on us, and they still charged me for the cruise. Thankfully Victor refunded the money. But can’t believe they would charge for a cruise that they cancelled. Was cancelled due to staffing was the reason they gave.
It was cancelled on us last minute and we had to make our own plans We were disappointed but made our own fun
Valerie was very knowledgeable and fun. She's a peach
If going to Charleston you need to see the sights from the water. This is the perfect way to do so. The guide was very informative and the sights were amazing. We even got to see a dolphin!!
Really nice tour- even in less than optimal weather conditions. The narration was really interesting and the decj hands were REALLY helpful under rough sea conditions. It was a fantastic experinec!!!
They canceled our boat tour I received no email or phone call We showed up at the dock to find out it had been canceled
Very informative and relaxing harbor cruise. Only downside was there was nobody at the entry point until 5 min prior to departure. Very disconcerting wondering if they were actually coming or if we had messed up our reservation, etc.
The cruise, details provided and the narrator were great. The narrator was personable and it was evident that he loved what he was doing. However, with that being said, I am unable to give 5 stars. Specific details about the location of the boat and the parking or lack there of should have been provided. This information would certainly have been helpful for persons not familiar with the area. Because there was more than one boat and neither seemed to have the name of the cruise we had booked it was very confusing and there was no one readily available to help.
