My farm to table tour was amazing! Georgia, our guide was interactive and knowledgeable. Chef Michael was an incredible cook. He was able to accommodate for a vegetarian in our group. He was super friendly and shared his process. Would definitely recommend this tour :)

This was a very memorable experience. Loved the little local grocers brimming with local produce. The historic walk was informative and interesting. The meal was 5 star both in explosive flavors, attentiveness of staff and level of ingredients. The food prepared with our ingredients was just world class. I would happily take this tour again
This was a wonderful tour. Jesse was our guide and she did an excellent job of showing us some history, talking about great restaurants in the area, and finishing with Executive Chef Michael making us dinner using the ingredients we had picked from a local grocery shop. We would highly recommend this tour.
A tour worth taking if you are a foodie and just want to experience something special! Worth every penny and the timing and places we got to learn about was amazing and would never have learned about discovering on our own. The walking part of the tour made you excited for the delicious meal that was being prepared. It was a perfect amount of time from start to finish. The atmosphere was really beautiful, quiet and felt intimate and welcoming. It was a nice size; we were able to chat and ask questions and the chef was so responsive and friendly and the staff was great! Definitely repeating this tour again as it will never be the same because you get to pick the ingredients so don’t fool around get the good stuff you can eat ramen anytime!
We just recently went with family on the Farm to Table experience tour. Tour was great and food was amazing. Can't wait to do the tour again.
Georgia was a fantastic tour guide, very lovely, and very informative on the Charlestons history. The food was also great and I love how our dishes were curated to the ingredients we chose.
We had a truly wonderful experience.. Our guide, Georgia, was exceptionally knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging. She had a natural ability to connect with every person in the group, making us feel as though we had known one another for years!! The meal at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic—beautifully prepared and thoughtfully curated. Every detail of the tour felt intentional. Georgia also took time to give us advice On what to do during our limited stay in town. Overall, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and elevated culinary outing.
This is a fabulous experience!! Food was great and the tour director makes the event. Small group (there were 9 of us) so lots if opportunity to walk, talk, make new friends and enjoy Charleston.
My wife and I did the Farm to Table tour with Georgia as our guide who was fantastic. The idea of picking out ingredients at the start of the tour for the Chef to use to make several courses while we then toured a part of Charleston is unique. Our guide Georgia did a great job of telling historical stories about Charleston. I have taken many horror tours in Charleston over the years and she was able to provide facts I never heard before. The end of the tour, when we went back to a restaurant and enjoyed a 4 course meal, was a wonderful. The meal itself was worth the price of admission. So glad we did this tour.
This tour, led by Georgia, was a lovely way to learn about the unusual history of the Cannon Elliot borough, fill out a foody’s bucket list of restaurants, and enjoy a yummy 4 course meal prepared for us by a chef with ingredients we selected. . Definitely worth doing.
Absolutely wonderful. The veggie bin was such a wonderful start then to restaurant. Then historic walk. Our guide Georgia Caudle was excellent.
From our tour guide "Mimi" to Natasha's food the whole experience was outstanding! Each couple picked 2 ingredients, we went on a little walk and then came back to eat our amazingly prepared food. Thank you for making this a great memory.
Six of us did the farm to table tour. We started at a local grocery/produce store where we selected ingredients for a chef to us in preparing our lunch. We then walked to a local deli where we selected more ingredients and left them with the chef. We had a great tour of the neighborhood, including a very old Jewish cemetery. Our guide told us great stories about the area and its architecture. We wandered back to the deli, stopping to load up on baked goods at Sugar. When we arrived back at Daniela, we had a delicious three course meal and a lovely talk with Natasha, the chef. A great time was had by all. We rolled out of there with our sweets from Sugar because no one any any room for dessert.
This was such a great tour! We’ve been coming to Charleston for 7 years now and this was definitely one of my favorite tours. Miss Alice is a wealth of information. Love her backstory. Enjoyed the other two couples on the tour too. It was such a great, enjoyable experience. The tour is about 3 hours in total - about a 2 hour walking tour of the Cannonborough neighborhood which is such a cute up and coming area of Charleston. And, then one hour of dining on a three course meal. It was a lot of fun walking through the quaint market to pick your food item and the same was true at Daniela’s - a cute eatery in the neighborhood. The chef was gracious and her creations were out of this world delicious. I highly recommend this tour. And, will be sure to reach out to Miss Alice on our next visit to Charleston to join her on another tour.
Highly recommend as this is a super fun tour! First, we parked in the recommended parking garage near the Hyatt House hotel and walked about 15 minutes to the meeting place, The Veggie Bin, where Jesse, our fabulous tour guide, had us choose our item for Chef Natasha to incorporate into her dishes. Then, Jesse led our group on a walking tour through a couple of the neighborhoods and the Jewish cemetery where she shared her “wealth of knowledge” about some of the Charleston history. One of the highlights was stopping at a local, quaint bakery to choose our desserts! Then, the grand finale concluded at Chef Natasha’s restaurant where she made an incredible, southern meal with our selected items and her farm fresh ingredients! After the tour, we even bought some Hot Sweet Peaches from her restaurant, paired with vanilla ice cream, and shared them with our friends who flew in a couple of days later - so yummy! My husband and I would definitely book this tour again when in the Charleston area!
My wife and I were in Charleston and had a free day and did this as some as something of a last-minute whim. I’m glad we did. Certainly worth the time. Our guide, Jessie, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable and put us at ease. We went to two different stops and picked out what seemed to be somewhat random ingredients among our people, and gave them to our chef, Natalie, who then somehow magically transformed these ingredients into a delicious multiple course meal. While we are waiting for the meal to be cooked, we took a great tour of the area and learned even more about Charleston‘s fascinating history as well as the local culture. Great experience.
The Chef was amazing…started off at Veggie Bin on Spring Street and finished at Danielle’s few blocks up the street highly recommend
Warm and friendly tour guide. Walk around Cannonborough neighborhood. Discussion of housing types, historical homes and the Jewish cemetery (late 1700s). The wonderful Pittsburgh family we were partnered with discussed all food choices at Veggie Bin and Daniela's. The 5 course lunch was definitely the best one we had on this entire trip. The chef there really made a fine dining quality lunch with the miscellaneous ingredients given. She is really a special chef. FUn cupcakes for dessert. This activity was definitely worth the expense. Just go!
The tour with Miss Alice was very knowledgable and sweet we picked up some veggies and protein so the chef will prepare a meal for us after the tour, meal was good and we went to local bakery sweets for dessert, they charge us for coffee after the meal which was uncomfortable for the price that you pay per person. Overall nice experience.
We loved Jess' knowledge of the area and the history of the jomes and businesses in the neighborhood. We were amazed by Chef Natasha's (Daniela's Downtown) ability to take the food items we selected and create an incredible dinning experience with all courses melding together. We would definitely recommend.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the complete experience. From selecting an item at the local market, to the neighborhood historic tour and ending with the delicious chef prepared meal.
Tour guide was fun and very informative. She exuded southern charm. 4 course meal was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
What would you do with a watermelon, chili pepper, pineapple sausage, purple carrots and a sweet potato? That was a challenge for Chef Natasha Cline, not us. Natasha created a marinade/reduction sauce with the watermelon juice, chili and honey. The reduction sauce was served under chunks of sausage and caramelized carrots and sweet potato. It was delectable!
Great time! Jess was a great guide, very friendly and informative. The lunch prepared for us was our best meal of the week! Highly recommend!
Totally exceeded out expectations! Tour guide was great and the food was over the top delicious. We did not expect to have such a fun time and learn so much. Highly recommend!
Absolutely Superb! We have done food tours in many places as we travel - this one has been our favorite! Very creative - well worth the price of this tour- custom service . Your guide was exceptional and knows her city well!
This was a lot of fun and the food was amazing! Our guide, Alice was really entertaining and I met nice people. The wine bar 🍷 was great too!!
With a passion for good food and learning the culture of a city, this tour really appealed to me. And it didn't disappoint. We started out by each participant (max of 12) selecting an ingredient from a local farm stand. Chef Natasha took our selections (adding her own ingredients as well) and left to create a three-course lunch. While she was off doing her magic, the tour of that area of Charleston began with our tour guide Alice. Alice was an excellent guide -- friendly, warm, knowledgeable. She spoke about the history of the area, the major influence of the people who were enslaved on food and even agriculture. It's a tricky thing to discuss slavery in the south, but Alice IMHO managed to both honor the people brought to America in chains, without making anyone south of the Mason Dixon line feel attacked. I'm a northerner so you may want to take that into account. The lunch was delicious and if I had the time I would have gone back to Natasha's restaurant Uncorked Charleston. If wine is your thing, there's a wine bar that was most intriguing.
Walking tour very memorable with a great guide. It was a small group so we felt very special. Food was good, but very rich.
We were having trouble finding a parking spot - not familiar with Charleston parking rules made it harder for us to find a place so we barely made it in time at 11am. The guide Amelia was kind enough to wait for us and told us where to park once the walking tour part was over. The walking tour was very informative. Enjoyed the stops and highlights. Once we arrived at Uncorked, we were welcomed by the chef and servers. We were very impressed with the wine selections - the best 2 glasses of wines I ever tasted! The lunch prepared by chef Natasha was out of the world, so delicious! I cant get over the flavor in the sauce she made. Every dish was prepared so elegantly and with so much thoughts into it. Definitely will recommend to others and do it again if we return.
Enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide, she was engaging and fun; talented and creative chef who turned out selections into a great meal
This was an amazing day. First we met at the Veggie Bin. There were 13 people on the tour. Each person picked something from the store for the chef Natasha. From there Natasha went to the restaurant and we had a walking tour. The food she prepared was spectacular. At the restaurant Uncork there was a wine bar. You get a card then you can choose your wine. There were 4 dishes. Dessert was a pecan square from the local bakery Sugar Bakery.
What a great excursion. We walked to local grocery store and picked ingredients for our dinner. Had a walking tour by Jessica. Then walked to restaurant for meal Cooked by chef Natasha! Uncorked was our final destination for an amazing 5 course meal. Liked the wine wall too. It was a great day.
Wonderful food- wonderful tour!! Would highly rec. To people visiting. The tour was interesting and unique and loved that we picked the food and the chef created something unique and delicious.
This experience was the best part of our trip to Charleston. Alice our tour guide was incredibly informative and so so sweet! The neighborhood was full of life and she had the best recommendations on places to eat and hang out. Chef Natasha is incredibly talented and cooked some amazing dishes. Her restaurant uncorked was such a good vibe. Would definitely do this again and again.
Tour was informative. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was yummy! Great experience overall.
Alice was our historian. She took us for a walk around town, was wonderful and informative. Truly a great experience learning about Charleston. The food: Wow!! We chose one food item each from the Veggie Bin and Chef Natasha made a four course meal for us with the food along with other items as well. We dined and were able to pour our own wonderful wines through the automated system Natasha has at "Uncork Charleston". Would recommend and hopefully do this again.
You want to do this! If you love history, culture and GREAT food this is for you. Each person picked an ingredient at the market and the chef created a multi course feast while we did a different walking tour than typical heart of Charleston tours. John was our guide. Natasha our chef. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our guide, Alice, did an excellent job of leading the historical tour in the Elliotborough neighborhood. We got a great sense of the culinary history of Charleston. Alice also gave us recommendations for other places and restaurants to visit in the area. Chef Natasha made an amazing 4 course meal using items we chose a a local fresh market. Everything was unique and delicious! The Brie and bread was out of this world. We would highly recommend the tour, the restaurant, and Alice!
My mom and I decided to do this tour on our Charleston visit, just to give us something fun to do for a few hours. This was one of the best experiences the two of us have ever had. Our guide, Jessica, was fantastic. So charismatic and interested. Her love for Charleston was apparent, and her ability to tell us a story or explain the history of downtown was unmatched. We went into the veggie bin, picked our ingredients (I picked coconut milk, for a challenge) and every part of our surprise 4 course meal (that we chose ingredients for) and dessert was incredible. I would 100% recommend this to anyone interested in something completely unique, getting to do a tour and food in one.
It was a fun, fabulous experience. The tour was very informative and interesting and the 5-course lunch was incredibly delicious! We learned so much about Charleston and the chef was so creative with the ingredients we chose.
Food is one thing make u feel happy take away stress of whole day and charge for the day Chef vivek,Chef Rajendra and Chef Arjun is too good in his job.
I have been on a ton of tours this was the best...the combination of history and an amazing lunch was so unique. Dana the tour guide was personable and wonderful. She has a great grasp of the history and her presentation was engaging.
Great tour. Love the laid back pace. Food was amazing. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
Loved this tour! Great guide, delicious food. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and easy going! The chef at Uncork used our choices from the market and created an abundance of wonderful food for the group!
This was a great experience from our amazing guide John to the well prepared lunch at Uncork restaurant. . Food was well prepared with the ingredients everyone picked from a local grocery store called Veggie Bin. Chef was super flexible because I don’t eat pork and she accommodated my meals without any pork products. It’s a fun date idea for anyone who is looking for something different other than movies and dinner.
Wow!! What a great day and an even better decision to take this culinary and historical tour with Jessie (our knowledgeable tour guide) and Natashia (our amazing creative chef). A fun 3 part experience that ends with a 5 course tasting of some of the most creative dishes I've had. I would highly recommend this tour!!! We learned so much on the walking tour and thoroughly enjoyed sitting down to a NO RUSH meal after and getting to talk with our fellow attendees.
Picking random fresh ingredients from a local market and have the chef prepare a 5 course lunch at her restaurant:Uncork
A wonderful tour! Loved the whole experience and our tour guide was amazing! The food was fantastic and the tour was a highlight of our trip.
Great tour. A different idea of a food tour, but a great idea. Interesting walking/history tour as well. Would do again, as you would be surprised with a totally different meal.
