PJ was a fun and informative captain. Wildlife was awesome; we ended up seeing dolphins, eagles, pelicans and other seabirds, and a host of crabs ans tiny fish on and around Morris Island. Shelling (and shark teeth) was great and it was wonderful to see the lighthouse so close!

Terrific experience! Chris was knowledgeable, articulate, informative, interesting and entertaining. I recommend this tour to anyone vist Charleston and intetested in learning more about it.
Chris was the best and most knowledgeable guide.
A must do! Captain John was the best. He was funny and also provided some history in there too. We took some extra time to visit the area with the dolphins since the pod was very active on our way to the lighthouse/island.
This is a great eco tour! We saw lots of dolphins and several varieties of birds. Captain Chris shared a lot of information about the wildlife and marsh in a relaxed manner, with a good sense of humor! I highly recommend this experience.
It was a nice guided tour to the light house on Morris island. Saw some Dolphins and other cool wildlife. Chris was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and informative. Thanks again. Shout out to Chris's mom. I heard you will find this review and let your son know. 😆
This was a fabulous experience and a must-do when visiting Charleston. Captain PJ was knowledgeable, interesting and had a wonderful personality. We learned a lot about the ecosystem and we all enjoyed how passionate Captain PJ is about maintaining it.
Captain Tripp is quite the naturalist and full of interesting knowledge. If you go when temps are below 65 degrees, bring a windbreaker at minimum as we go fast a few times to get to and back from the island. Many dolphins seen, but only a couple close to the boat. Still kids loved it.
We had the best time riding down the waterway! The captain was full of information about the area, wildlife, and history. We saw so many dolphins and different types of sea birds. We were able to get off of the boat and explore an island and go shelling which was so much fun!!! Would highly recommend!
It was a fun tour - and enjoyed the ride to the island. Saw lots of dolphins! PJ, our guide, was awesome!
PJ, our captain, was wonderful! He was fun, informative, and professional. We enjoyed seeing so many unique birds and dolphins. A small pod swam alongside our boat. We’ve never seen so many dolphins at one time before. Morris Island was interesting. Along with beautiful shells we also found a shark vertebrae. Wear shoes that can tolerate wet sand for when there’s low tide.
FANTASTIC!! John was very knowledgeable and personable!! He even got the dolphin to put on a show!!
This was a highlight of the trip…stunningly Beautiful, safe, well hosted by the captain (PJ) and compete with dolphins, birds and shells. I would do it again and recommend it to anyone who loves nature and being on the water
Captain John was great, informative and funny. The boat ride was just the right length, Morris Island was nice and we saw lots of dolphins. Great trip!
KD was very informative and fun! She was safe and kept us safe. The trip was well worth the money! Highly recommend!!
We loved our experience with Charleston Eco Boat Cruise! We saw so many dolphins and seabirds. Our tour guide, Chris, was knowledgeable and kept the whole group entertained. Very unique experience. Would definitely recommend!
This was a great experience. PJ was knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of cool things about the wildlife in the estuary. We saw dolphins and a bald eagle. So much fun!
Excellent tour! Capt. John was an interesting and well-informed guide. He was patient to let us observe dolphin pods. We appreciated his attentiveness to us!
We had a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He also grew up in the Charleston area and he comfortably answered all questions that were asked
We really enjoyed our experience with Captain KD. We learned so much about the area and saw so many dolphins. Morris Island was beautiful, we saw some beautiful shells and tons of birds. Make sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, water and a snack if needed. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. There are two bathrooms at the office but none available during the trip.
Captain John gave us a perfect boat ride on a gorgeous day. We learned so much about the wildlife and history of the marsh land. Then we got to spend a glorious hour walking the beach on Morris Island. This is the boat tour to take!
The boat captain was knowledgeable about the area and stopped whenever dolphins were around. Would do it again.
PJ conducted our tour which I booked with friends for my birthday. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about this area’s ecosystem. We learned so much and will definitely tell our friends and family in New York. The amazing weather was a plus!
20 passengers aboard boat, but reasonably comfortable. Capt. Jacob very good at what he does. We had dolphin jumping waves from back of boat, saw many sea birds(egret, oystercatchers, brown pelican...). We traveled through scenic backwaters to Morris Island-most brought back shark teeth &/or sand dollars
Easy booking. Our guide was wonderful and we were so happy to learn about all the conservation efforts.
Great experience! Nice couple of hours on the water and walking the beach at Morris Island. Our guide Jacob was very knowledgeable about the marsh, inlets, creeks and wildlife. Saw lots of dolphins, picked up shells and one person in the group found a shark's tooth. Would definitely recommend this outing for fun!
Phenomenal look of what the Low Country of Charleston is! Chris was an absolute rockstar and helped so much when my two year old threw a classic tantrum and I was alone (solo mom moment!)! Cannot recommend anyone else other than going here! Everyone was so accommodating to helping me load/unload the load necessary with a toddler! Strollers and all!
Had a great day in the sun collecting Sharks teeth! Cade is very knowledgeable and essential to a great trip:)
This was my favorite experience so far on our honeymoon! Our guide, captain Tripp was awesome! Very knowledgeable, personable, and clearly enjoys what he does and enjoys teaching. It was such a magical experience seeing multiple dolphins, finding conch shells and sand dollars on Morris Island, and then riding back through the marsh, watching the sunset. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting the lowcountry, both first-timers and locals.
Wonderful experience on the Morris Island boat cruise! Our tour guide Matt, was very knowledgeable and not only identified the various flora and fauna but also spoke to their importance within the ecosystem. Everyone learned something from my 3 year old niece up to my don't worry about how old Mother! He even got us into a shallow creek where we could see the dolphins feeding.
Great boat ride through the channel to the lighthouse. Expert eco guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. This is our second time, and it’s was as good as the first time!
Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable about the local marine ecosystem and did a great job engaging with his passengers
Captain Chris was great. Very knowledgeable on the area since he grew up here. We drove from Bluffton to Charleston 2+ hours to do this tour. And I was glad I did my daughter found her first shark tooth and we got to see a dolphin strand feeding which Chris stayed so we could watch. Beautiful area will definitely come back. Chris's Mom did an awesome job with her son she should be proud.
Very informative and enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and was open to discussion.
Wonderful boat trip through the estuary to Morris Island. George was really informative about the area, wildlife and dolphins! Enjoyed it !
Captain George was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts. We had plenty of time to explore the island. It was a great experience!
Terrific tour. Our guide, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and informed.
Was a beautiful trip through the local estuaries. Lots of wildlife to bee seen and enjoyed time to walk along the embankment adjacent to the lighthouse. Trip was a good length of time, not too long, not too short. Thanks Jacob for being a great captain and tour guide!
We saw many dolphins and birds. The walk around on Morris island is very cool. Up close look at the light house.
Will and Captain Chris were both exceptional. Their passion for history, the ecosystem, and ensuring everyone had a fantastic experience was evident. Remember to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water. The only drawbacks were that the trip was about 45 minutes too long (the beach gets extremely hot by 11 am) and there were too many people (28) for a more intimate experience. Overall, I highly recommend it.
This was a great experience. Chris was awesome. He told us the history of islands, the ecosystem, and kept it comical which I appreciated. Make sure you bring a bag to collect the seashells and shark teeth.
Very fun and enlightening. Captain Chris was informed and fun to have as a guide. We enjoyed learning about the area, especially Long Island.
What an incredible experience! Our tour guide was PJ and he was fabulous! He was knowledgeable amd so entertaining to listen to! He really knew his stuff about the area, history, boating, etc… it was one of the highlights of our trip and it wasn’t even a major reason for us being down in the Carolinas. Just came across this by chance while searching for stuff to do! What a wonderful time! I highly recommend this to anyone! Jamie 🎸
This was awesome! Chris was fantastic and answered all of the questions we had. It was so great that we booked the 3 hour fossil tour for the following day!
The trip was very enjoyable. The location and old buildings made the trip more authentic. The office staff were very nice and helpful. Our guide Jacob, was very good and his knowledge of the area and wild life was very informative. The small tour group size enabled everyone to be engaged. We would take this tour again and also do the kayak adventure. Good job.
Matt was super knowledgeable. He explained so many interesting things about the TONS of dolphins that we saw, how they fed, how they slept, how they hunted. We loved Morris Island and found a couple of sharks teeth. 10/10, for sure.
We had a wonderful time with Captain John. He had lots of knowledge of the area and customized the experience to meet our groups interests.
This tour is totally worth it the boat is covered which is very nice from the sun and the ride is very informative as well as scenic. You see all kinds of birds and dolphins napping and playing along the way. Captain Chris is full of all the right information with just the right amount of humor to keep you laughing. Morris Island is full of shells and all sorts of things to sort through. Well worth the drive to the middle of nowhere it's beautiful and quiet. Would highly recommend.
Our captain, Matt, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the estuary and Morris Island. He made it possible for us all to see the dolphins in the area. The kids loved searching for shark teeth, and one found a tooth.
It was very fun and very educational. We got to see about 10 dolphins!! Worth every penny! I recommend going in the morning during low tide. That’s when it’s feeding time 😉
