Tyler was an amazing guide! We had a lot of fun, there was a ton of history incorporated on the tour in addition to the ghost stories, and the small group size made it much more personable! We will definitely be bringing family and friends back with us!

This tour would have been better if had started an hour later at 8:00 instead of 7:00. Similar tours in Charleston & Williamsburg have been conducted when it is darker, which certainly add a lot of charm to the event. The guide, 24, was very knowledgeable; added humor to her stories, but she talked very fast, & walked the same way. I asked her to slow down on a couple of occasions, but after a minute or so she went back to her rapid pace. Perhaps if the allotted time had been 75 minutes instead of 55 minutes, we would have enjoyed it more & retained more information.

Our guide was very informative and fun! She knew so much history and really made the experience. We will do this again!

Our guide Tylor was so knowledgeable - she really knew her stuff! The tour itself included so many historical facts and some great ghostly characters. We really enjoyed it - a great way to walk round the city.

Taylor was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable and informative. The walking distance, pace and duration of tour were perfect for us. It was an enjoyable way to spend part of the evening.

We could have done without the guide using a phone app to receive messages from the spirits but we enjoyed the history and stories we heard and love finding parts of Beaufort we might not have found on our own.

This ghost tour is one of the best experiences we had in Beaufort NC. John was our guide. It was so cool exploring the historical areas of Beaufort while hearing the history from a pirate! The area has so much history, with centuries of experiences, including tragic events that weave perfectly into ghost stories. This year was my second time on this same tour with John, and I plan to book this again when we return again.

We had 2 adults and 2 teens for the tour. Our guide was clear that the tour included a lot of history as ghosts come from the history. A great feature were headsets for each guest making it easy to hear the guide. Our guide was enthusiastic and knew a lot of history along with unique and quirky ghosts tales. She has an app in her phone that is supposed to allow ghosts/spirits to communicate with her. While she had “tales” of ghosts interacting in other tours, we all found this to be more distracting as she mentioned words etc that showed on her phone. It is a ver good history tour with ghost tales. It is 2 hours of walking through town. On a very warm night, wish we had had water or a place to get water.

Excellent content and quite entertaining. The pace was a little fast, but the presenter did admit that she likes to get through several locations before total darkness.

Enjoyed all of the history. Be sure you choose the Tales of the Low country Beaufort Ghost Tours. If you google Beaufort Ghost Tours, you may end up with the wrong business.

Very well organize and very easy to walk a maneuver in the evening hours. I thought the guide had everything very planned and enjoyed what she was doing.

Took her time, answered questions and made everyone in the group feel at ease and welcomed questions. 9 year old on tour and tour guide was polite, kept tales family friendly and went out of her way to make her feel part of the tour. I have been on other ghost tours and this tour guide is a 10 out of 10!

Our tour was hosted by a young lady named Zelda. She did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend to anyone to do this tour if you are in town.

I believe our guide’s name was Anastasia and she was great! I am not sure what to think of the voices but my son used another app and often the words added up! She was very enthusiastic, energetic and knowledgable. After the tour dispersed she stayed to speak with my teenagers and answer all their questions even though her night should have been over and I felt that was very kind of her. It sparked a super natural debate at dinner afterwards! Very enjoyable - whether you believe or not you def learned some real history!

Very informative walk around Beaufort SC. The city is filled with so much history, tragedy, and rebirth. Not sure I am a believer of the ghost tales but our tour guide was very informative and well suited for the role. The 90 minute walk didn't end until 8:30pm making it difficult to find a place in the downtown area for dinner (most kitchens closed at 8), so I would advise you to eat before hand.

A lot of fun and very informative. We do the ghost tours in every city that we visit if they're available. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and events that make Beaufort what it is today.

Zelda’s tour was excellent. She was so knowledgeable, and her character was well acted. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! A must do!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the city history and stories of the spirits. The mansions were beautiful! The location of the tour was perfect.

The views were wonderful. Our guide got the history wrong multiple times. Took too long. It was listed as 45 minutes and took 2 hours. She lost track of the flow of stories and it was disorganized. Took a long time to get us going. It could have been much better with fact checking and a tighter script!

My hubby and I are on our 30th Anniversary Trip and overnighted I'm Beaufort! What a cute town! We ended our day with the walking ghost tour. Kai was our guide. She is originally from Vegas and so are we! The tour was informative and interesting. Kai has great dad jokes and she has a lot of energy. It was HOT, as expected in August, but she held our attention and we didn't think about the heat. Thank you for a great tour!

Undoubtedly the worst decision we've made in a long time. It was a girls' trip for my daughter& myself. She was ready to exit the walk within 10 minutes. I suggested we wait thinking it would surely get better. It did not. I just read on this page the walk it limited to 20 people. There were at least 40 people. I would never recommend this to anyone. I am not one to complain, but this was absolutely awful & total waste of money.

This was a tough one. Although very nice and had some knowledge of the area, the tour guides were often off subject and we were often hearing about personal stories. The seemed nervous and disorganized. Not our best outing :/

I went with my family; brother and my mother to be exact, and we all had an absolute blast. Zelda was our tour guide and she was great. Fantastic story teller and super engaging with the group. Her energy was so positive and kept me intrigued the whole way through.

The girl was very sweet but the most boring tour we’ve ever been on!! We did like the head phones and the sites.

The history and ghost stories provided on this tour were phenomenal! My girlfriend and I loved our guide, Kai, because she was funny (I loved her dad jokes) and knowledgeable. I recommend this experience to anyone from skeptical to believers!

This was one of the easiest ghost tour walks we have ever experienced. I could see where this tour could easily be experienced by wheelchair. Anastasia, our tour guide was great and upbeat. We didn't experience any ghosts but we came away with a lot of local history and insight to the past. Definitely worth a second tour .

Our guide was excellent but the hokey recording of “spirits” was distracting. I recommend eliminating the recordings and sticking with the stories, which were great. You might consider making the tour more interactive. You could also encourage guests to take photos to look for orbs.

Charlotte was our tour guide. She has lived in the area most of her life and was very knowledgeable about the town and it’s history. She had a great sense of humor and entertained the ghost(s) who came through on her app and speaker. The only thing that may have made it a bit more memorable is if she dressed up in a period piece outfit! Some of the other members of our group were very expressive, so they made it fun, too. It IS a walking tour so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather! It was a bit chilly the night we went and the tour is close to the water. I highly recommend downloading the “Ghost Hunting Tools” app before you go because the cemetery was VERY active.

The lady was very knowledgeable and informed us of a lot of history!and a lot of humor, kept the tour interested!

Way too many corny jokes. Took away from the experience. She never stopped talking to ask if we had questions until the very end. The ghost radio was so fake. The information and stories were good.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was nice , informative and entertaining. We even took a cool picture , I can't say it's definitely a ghost but it was fun to see when we reviewed our pictures.It was taken at a house that is reportedly haunted by a little girl.

I don't recommend this tour at all. It was extremely rushed, the tour guide was out of breath most of the tour because of the walking speed and the fast pace of the tour. It was not a leisurely walk as are most ghost tours in other states. Our group was large and in order to see what was just discussed it required that we stay behind the group slightly but each time we did that the other 3 employees that were on the sides and behind our group rushed us along to keep up. I have reached out directly to the company to express my concerns and have yet to get a response back. Very disappointing.
