90-minute Private Dolphin Tour In Hilton Head Island

Mark was a very friendly and knowledgeable captain. His boat was clean and comfortable. We did the private dolphin sight seeing tour. We added a lot of stops for bird watching as well. We saw dolphins all over as well as many birds. What a gorgeous fall day. Thanks Mark!

Mark was great! We arrived early and he was already there waiting for us so we were able to leave early. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the island. He has years of experience driving boats and navigating on the water and most importantly our safety. As we all know dolphins have a mind of their own and so it’s not a guarantee to see them but we were lucky. Mark knew the spots to take us and we saw several in our ride. I would highly recommend booking your next private dolphin cruise tour with him.

This was our fifth time going out with Captain Mark, and every trip has been amazing. If you do nothing else while visiting Hilton Head Island, do this tour!

Choose this one! I spent so much time googling and reading reviews, and Captain Mark exceeded my expectations. It felt like the rainiest weekend in Hilton Head ever, but Mark helped me figure out when to reschedule, and it was a beautiful ride. We also got to bring our (well-behaved) pup with us! He was so knowledgeable and gave us so much interesting context without being overbearing. If anything, he tolerated the dozens of questions we had and me squealing over the dolphins! Also, what a great price for a private ride. Thank you for helping us have a great time even during a rainy weekend. I am so glad the sun came out for us. Four adults (one pregnant) and an 18 mo old. It was the most amazing experience. First, Captain Mark was incredibly knowledgeble and shared a lot of information about the dophins and salt marshes. Super nice guy! The scenery was beautiful and the trip was very relaxing. The best part however was that we probably saw 100+ dolphins. They were everywhere! If it wasn't storming the next day I would have taken the trip again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Experience of a lifetime

We booked the private dolphin tour and had Captain Mark as our guide. He was great with our young granddaughters and shared his knowledge about the Hilton Head area and waterways. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

After a small problem finding our operator, this turned out to be a really great trip. Captain Mark was a personable and knowledgeable guide, and we saw a large number of dolphins including some memorable moments. Our great grandkids (21 years old) from Colorado said it was the most amazing part of our trip to Hilton Head.

We took our family on Captain Mark's tour. He was very knowledgeable. He took us to see dolphins but also told us about other wildlife in the area including birds, grasses, and crabs.

Our experience with Captain Mark was awesome. He was knowledgeable on the area and the ecosystem he was taking us through. He provided clear safety instructions for our kids and made the entire trip enjoyable. We saw plenty of dolphins; he knew just where to go based on our time of day and tide position. His boat was clean and had all the space we needed for a family of 5. Being on the water and seeing the island from a different perspective was a lot of fun and I highly recommend this charter for anyone. We will be back!

We had a great time. Learning about the ecosystem and seeing several dolphins. The kids are huge Wild Kratts fans and they felt like they were part of a nature show. It was very interactive and such a great experience! Also took some great advice after and had some yummy sno cones after. Could ride your bikes easily to it.

It was a wonderful excursion for the private dolphin cruise with Captain Mark. He was in contact with us up until we got on to the boat. He was great with my 4 year old and 7 year old. He gave great info about Hilton head, the sound and its ecosystem. We saw about 30-40 dolphins and he took us to his crab trap to see a blue crab and a stone crab. He took us to the “island of a million shells” which my 7 year old was captivated by. I would recommend this excursion to all!

Our family of 3 had a wonderful time with Mark. We were able to see many dolphins, shore birds and a few different types of crabs. Being on a private boat allowed us to get closer to things and see some stuff you would miss on a larger boat. The 8am tour is worth getting up for since you are out when the dolphins are feeding. Highly recommend.

He was friendly and knowledgeable both the wildlife in the history of the landscape and culture and knew exactly where to go to see dolphins, a manatee and other beautiful wildlife. We did a private tour and thought it was worth every penny and cannot recommend Mark enough!

Mark was an amazing guide on our dolphin cruise. He is very knowledgeable about the eco system and was extremely patient and attentive to my grandchildren who were 7 and 4. We saw a ton of dolphins, birds, and he even showed us a stone crab that he caught. It’s so nice to be on a private boat so that you get the guides full attention. We highly recommend Mark…you will not be disappointed!

Great experience! Our family of 6 really enjoyed Captain Mark's private Dolphin tour - everything was great from the communication before the trip, to the personalized experience during the trip, and of course the dolphins that we were able to see during our trip. Captain Mark gave all sorts of extra information about the wildlife in the area and answered any questions that we had - which added a lot more to the trip than we would have been able to get on a larger charter boat.
